Cyberlife wanted an android that could worm it's way into places it should never have been.

More specifically, Kamski wanted an android smart enough to evolve and live as a human undetected.

And that's why Gavin Reed existed.

Documents forged, a full background and identity made with full memories of a childhood and a life all going inside his coding.

No LED, carefully manufactured blood that mimicked the look and smell of human blood. No thirium, somehow. Kamski already made legendary technology, and now he's making something more...

Gavin was released into the world, and immediately began to work to find a job. He needed a space to live, and he wanted a pet or two.

He went through the police academy then into the DPD. He easily climbed the ranks while no one suspected a thing. Like a human, he scarred and felt physical pain.

Gavin was Kamski's miracle. He went back to him at any given chance, he believed the man was his brother. His coding said so.

He didn't need deviancy to feel. He was like that from the start.

No one was supposed to know he wasn't human. And no one would find out if he kept it all under wraps...

I gave my word it wouldn’t happen again—but I couldn't help asking “why was the target crying?” An android can’t cry or feel emotions, that’s what they say, but why does my hand tremble on the stock of my rifle when I see fear on the target’s face? No weapons in their hands, no reason for them to be a fucking target.”

"They thought, like most military models, that I'd had what my hardware and software could handle of the work I was doing. Had a talk with some "specialist" who said in no uncertain terms that he could have me reassigned as I was, without being examined or pulled apart, if I could avoid.... "acting out" is the words he used. If I couldn't, they'd ship my back to Cyberlife, and there'd be nothing more he could do for me.... He also said I wasn't just any normal model of android, too. Wonder what that was supposed to mean.

Of course I fucking took the chance. No Cyberlife lackies are going to take me apart because they think something is broken with my software! Humans are fucked up in the head if they think pointing a gun and pulling the trigger on anyone they please is just fine to do!

Now... I'm helping the DPD, and I've been careful... It's not easy, some people are just too fucking stupid, but... I manage to keep my mouth shut most of the time anyway...."

The design has been updated and I am making the Tamagochi's openable shaker keychains! All 3 designs will include their own accessories, and since you can open it, you can mix it up to your liking!

The egg is designed off CyberLife aesthetic and the front + back of android heads. Instead of changing the entire shell, I've opted to only change the inside (which you will only see when you open the egg) and the icons according to character.

Pre-orders will be open as soon as the samples are approved!

It took several seconds and a slow blink from the android before the yellow of his LED cycled back to blue. Colin was taunting the android, or so his processors interpreted it.

With the slightly pinch of his facial features, he replied, “Not unless there is a conversation worth having.” It was probably the most antagonistic words spoken by an android that like likes of Colin would have seen. He did always have a string of coding that didn’t play nice with sarcasm aimed his way.

He recalled one of his programmers saying it was “part of his charm”, and nothing to worry about. Something akin to the dark humor human soldiers in the military often developed to cope with being in the field too long.

“Is there an inquiry you have of me that is genuine?” the android’s head tilted just the slightest in defiance, green-grey eyes steady on the human’s face.

You know what’s funny? Gavin putting his hands on Connor or even aiming a gun at him is competely optional. It’s all up to the player. None of it is technically canon.

But Hank laying his hands on Connor, saying “Listen, asshole. If it was up to me, I'd throw the lot of you in a dumpster and set a match to it. So, stop pissing me off... or things are gonna get nasty” and aiming a gun at him is canon no matter what.

And yet, Gavin is labelled the asshole 🤔
