          she  could  leave  her  here.  it’s  the  first  thought  that  crosses  her  mind,  that  she  could  practically  sacrifice  the  girl  to  the  killer  roaming  the  trial  —  though  yun - jin  seems  to  think  better  of  it  almost  as  soon  as  the  thought  enters  her  mind.  she  has  spent  her  entire  life  leaving  people  in  the  dust,  back - stabbing  them  to  climb  the  ranks  ;  that’s  how  the  real  world  worked,  that’s  simply  how  business  was . . .  but  this  wasn’t  the  real  world  anymore,  this  was  just  THEM  in  here,  having  to  depend  on  another  to  survive.  after  what  happened  with  her  former  protege,  before  she  ended  up  HERE,  she  doesn’t  think  she  could  stomach  another  vicious  murder  right  before  her  eyes.

          yun - jin  shakes  her  head,  gauze  wrapped  crudely  around  the  other’s  seeping  wound.  ❝  we  are  not  going  to  die  in  here.  ❞  medical  tape  is  ripped  with  her  teeth,  securing  the  gauze  in  it’s  place  on  the  other  girl’s  abdomen.  it  should  hold  for  now,  at  least  until  they  can  return  to  the  brief  safety  of  the  camp - fire.  ❝  i  won’t  let  you  die  in  here.  ❞  yun - jin  rises  from  her  crouched  position,  eyes  adjusting  to  the  pitch  black  fog  around  them  ;  trying  to  make  heads  or  tails  of  their  current  surroundings.
