So I look at the Rules of Flourishing in the Manual and why lines are places where they are as well as how to make them smooth and flowing. Much of what we don't see, the trace of the nib, is the reason for this, because there is no corresponding mark on the page! (at Stockwell)

It is hard writing technical info for others when you have had something bantering around your head for so long. The space is there for a reason on the grids. DONT JUST PRACTISE! Write one letter put down the pen and correct it. That way the next letter had informed correction. I look at this different way to practise. Grids in the link in the bio!
