Imagine MC called Mammon's name the most.
Can't decide what food they should prepare?
"Mammon?"
Have some project or papers to do?
"Mammon!"
Some lower demons treat them wrong?
"Mammon!!"
Nothing on their mind, but just
"Maaaammon~!!"
When they are angry with their first demon?
"Maaaammon—!!!"
Our dear Avatar of Greed complains it but NEVER ask MC stop it.
And both of their the pact mark always shining with molten gold color when MC call his name.

SHE IS KISSING HIM. THIS IS REAL.
Tumblr media
She is brisk and sudden as chilled morning winds and he is entirely swept away (silly hat, too—it’s fine, he won’t miss it), hands grasping Anika’s waist as he bends down to her and she up into him, so soft, warm, perfect.
“My love.” Astarion breathes across sweet, unexpected lips—recently he has discovered his breath best used to titillate her ears and tickle her skin—before diving in again, peppering her mouth with kisses and conveying, in throaty rasps, at any available spot in between: “It was about time you stirred…”
With her here, something in him has stirred, too; he is finally ready to begin this day.

Wildest Dreams
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairings: Sam Carpenter x fem!reader
Summary: you are helplessly head over heels for Sam, even though she despises you. But your relationship with her changes when you get in a lightly physical altercation with her.
Warnings: light sweating, reader accidentally walks in on Sam changing, small violence
My Masterlist
AN: if you have the time, I highly recommend reading ‘The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo’ and watching ‘Carol’ <3
Word count: 6.3K
For the first time in what seemed a millennium, you finally had the house to yourself. Anika was out with Mindy for a date, and your other roommate, Luke, was doing god knows what, probably out fornicating with one of his many boyfriends, but you didn’t care. You only cared about relaxing on the couch and rewatching your comfort show, Game of Thrones.
You grabbed your phone and a bowl of popcorn and went to the couch. You curled up with the blanket hanging over the back of the sofa as you turned on your show.
Tarantula: you up? ;)
The ‘ding’ from the text pulled you away from the tv, and you smiled when you read the text from your best friend, Tara. The two of you had met on campus in the library and instantly became friends. You two bonded over your love for books and shared a passion for horror movies, even though your opinions drastically differ.
Sam lover: maybe, it depends on who’s asking
Tarantula: you’re best friend in the entire world?? Who else?
Sam lover: mhmmm, okay. What are we doing?
Tarantula: movie night, obviously
Sam lover: sure, I’ll be over in ten
Tarantula: just a heads up, you’ll have to come in through my window
You raised your eyebrows at Tara’s message, ‘Why would I have to do that? I’ve been over before,’ you thought to yourself.
Sam lover: why?
Tarantula: because Sam is watching a movie in the living room, and we are hanging out in my room
Sam lover: fuck, okay. why does she still hate me?
Tarantula: I don’t know, but don’t make any noise when you come over. Sam can’t know and don’t try and hit on her if you see her
To say that you and Sam were acquaintances would be an understatement; Sam despised you, while the woman completely enchanted you. Sam was so tall and handsome as hell. She’s bad for you, but she does it so well; you could see the end as it begins. You admired her strength, both physically and mentally, and you loved the way she cared so much about her sister. And that was also your downfall; Sam believed that you were no good for Tara, as every time Tara did something stupid, you were always at the scene of the crime. Of course, Sam didn’t know that you were always there because you tried your best to stop Tara out of respect for Sam (and a shitty attempt at winning her heart), but she never listened when you tried to explain yourself.
You scoffed at your best friend’s words. She knew of your infatuation with Sam and loved to tease you about it. At first, however, she thought it was a bit weird as you were her best friend and thought you were using her to get close to Sam, but after she saw you turn down an invite to go with Sam and Mindy to the movies just to stay at home and play Mario Kart with her, she knew that you were the real deal.
Tara found it a bit sad, though, because every time you would talk to Sam, you would either get silence, a death stare, or a one-word reply, but she would rather die than tell you that she felt pity for your shitty attempts to talk to her sister.
Sam lover: I will not be held responsible for my actions when I am around a beautiful woman with big brown eyes
Tarantula: yeah, yeah, whatever. just get over here soon and climb in through my window; I’ll leave it open
Sam lover: sounds good. I’m omw
With that, you shut your phone off, grabbed your backpack and put a spare change of clothes along with a cable to charge your phone in it, and went towards Tara’s apartment. You enjoyed walking by yourself as it allowed you to be with your thoughts, and you couldn’t help it when you started to think of Sam. The gravitational pull you felt towards the older woman was something you couldn’t explain even if you had to; you just knew that you couldn’t deny the attraction you felt. You longed to get lost in those dark eyes and don’t even get started on those muscular arms; to you, Sam was perfect, and you would count all the stars in the sky if you could call her yours for a moment.
When you reached the street Tara lived on, you sent Tara a quick message asking her which side her window would be on, and she responded with ‘the one that’s close to creepy ass alley,’ which was all of New York in your eyes.
Sam lover: that’s all of NY, Tarantula
Tarantula: It’s across from the McDonald’s, five stories up. And stop calling me ‘Tarantula.’ It’s offensive.
You laughed at your friend’s reply before sending back a quick ‘huh uh.’ You walked around the apartment until you saw the McDonald’s and then the creepy ass alleyway and looked up five stories. And true to her word, Tara had her window open for you. You climbed onto the fire escape and slowly made your way to Tara’s window before sending her a quick text telling her you were here, only you didn’t see the message she sent back telling you you weren’t at her window.
When you pushed Tara’s window the rest of the way and climbed halfway in, you nearly died; Sam was standing in a towel with her back facing you as she grabbed some clothes from her dresser. When she dropped her towel, your heart exploded, and it felt like you were in your wildest dream. You admired her perfect curves, and then the leg that you had in Sam’s room gave out, causing you to fall into Sam’s room with a loud thud.
Sam turned around with a shocked expression before she quickly turned back to her dresser and grabbed a knife. You could not seem to pry your eyes away from Sam’s chest, and you swore you could feel drool fall down your chin. You were too busy trying to engrave Sam’s naked figure into your brain that you didn’t feel the blade fly into your left thigh.
“Sam, I am so sorry,” you said as you tried to stand up on your legs, but one gave out and screamed in pain. The only thing on your mind was Sam’s breasts that you swore looked like the softest pillows ever.
“What the fuck is going-Oh my god! What happened to your leg?” Tara exclaimed after bursting into the room, disregarding her sister, who finally covered herself with a towel. At the mention of something wrong with your leg, you finally felt the sharp pain shoot through your entire leg as you stared at the blade in your thigh.
“You’re weird friend just broke into my room and stared at me while I was changing!” Sam stated as she grabbed her clothes and stormed off to the bathroom, clearly not caring about your wound. Tara quickly ran to your side and knelt beside you, “I am so sorry about this, Y/N. I didn’t know that she also had her window open.”
You shrugged off Tara’s comment as you tried to move, but the pain was too much. You watched as your crimson-red blood steeped onto the room’s flooring and stained your clothing. “Come on, we have to get you to a hospital,” Tara stated, pulling you up to the floor and leaning your weight onto her. By the time Tara had entered the living room and to the door, Sam was dressed and had her phone and keys in hand. “I’ll take you to the hospital; let’s go,” Sam stated as she moved Tara off you and took her place. It was pitiful how your face heated up when you felt Sam pull your left arm over her shoulders and hold it while her right arm was wrapped around your waist, allowing you to lean your weight onto her.
When you reached Sam’s car, Tara opened up the back row door and helped Sam lay you down on the seats before she got into the passenger door. “Do not die in my car, Y/N. I don’t need you to haunt my car,” Sam dryly stated as she closed the door and got in the driver’s side. You don’t remember much of the car ride to the hospital; the only thing on your mind was seeing Sam naked, and no matter how hard you tried, you would never be about to erase that beautiful image from your mind.
One moment you were daydreaming about the beautiful goddess that had just stabbed you, and then the next, you were in a hospital bed with stitches in your thigh. For the life of you, you couldn’t recall what had happened, just that you saw Sam naked, and then she stabbed you. You saw yourself, in hindsight, tangled up with her all night in your wildest dreams. Someday when your mind leaves you, you bet that the memory of Sam will follow you around.
“Oh, thank god, I thought I was going to have to murder Sam,” Tara said as she moved from the chair in the corner of the room and approached your bed. She sat on the edge of the bed and gently grabbed your hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. “What happened? The last thing I remember was being in the back of Sam’s car,” you recalled as you looked around the room and saw Sam, who was standing creepily in the doorway with her arms crossed.
“You passed out on the drive here. You should have seen Sam, though; she was terrified you had actually died,” Tara said with a small laugh as she remembered her sister’s frantic attempts to make sure you were still alive, and she also wanted to let you know that Sam slightly cared about you.
Sam scoffed at her sister’s words as she uncrossed her arms and walked toward you. “I was worried you were going to ruin my seats and then haunt my car,” Sam stated coldly, but her eyes betrayed her icy stature. You could see the way her eyes darted across your body, subtly checking to see if you were actually okay, and how she had her hands shoved into the pockets on her bomber jacket, slightly ashamed that she had hurt you.
Within the first encounters you had with Sam, you noticed how she always hid her hands when she was ashamed of something, and right now, all you wanted to do was reach out and comfort the woman. “Eh, I’m fine,” you shrugged briefly.
You talked to Tara while Sam stood around the room, looking out of place as she watched you with her sister. When the doctor came in, she gave you painkillers and told you could leave in the morning. “Could one of us stay here with her?” Sam asked the doctor worriedly when she was close to the door. “The hospital rules say we can’t allow non-family members to stay overnight, but I’ll let you stay with your girlfriend,” the doctor replied with a smile as she looked between you and Sam, clearly reading into some tension in the air.
Sam didn’t even have time to deny the doctor’s words before she left the room and shut the door, so Sam turned around with a scoff and was met with your drugged-out smile and Tara’s knowing one. “Well, Sammy, I will leave you here with your ‘girlfriend,’” Tara joked as she stood from the bed and grabbed her things.
“No. Tara, there is no way you are leaving here this late at night,” Sam replied as she followed her sister to the doorway. “Well, I’m certainly not staying here; I hate hospitals. And besides, Mindy is here to pick me up,” Tara replied with a smile.
She hated to admit it, but Sam was at a crossroads. She didn’t want Tara to stay here after the last time her sister was left alone in a hospital, and she also didn’t want you to stay here alone. She worried about you for Tara’s sake and definitely not because she felt terrible for being the reason you were here.
With a defeated sigh, Sam nodded and spoke, “Alright. Just let me walk you out.”
You watched the two sisters open the door and smiled when Sam stopped and looked back at you, “Don’t do anything stupid until I get back.”
“Okay, girlfriend,” you replied with a dopey smile, clearly enjoying the effects of the painkillers.
When Sam returned, she said nothing as she brought two chairs together and made herself an awkward bed. “You know, you can join me,” you suggested as you scooted over to the side, allowing Sam some room if she chose to sleep with you.
“Yeah, that’s not happening,” Sam replied as she got out a blanket and a pillow from the wardrobe and got comfortable on the chairs.
“Why not? I’ve already seen you naked.”
Sam rolled her eyes and laid her head on the pillow, and covered up with the blanket, “Do not mention that ever again.”
“Okay. I want to let you know you have a beautiful body, Sam. Your boobs are perfect! I mean, my god, the things I would do-”
“Please stop talking,” Sam interrupted you as she tried her best to fight off the fluttering feeling in her stomach at your words. She knew the painkillers were talking, but she couldn’t help but believe there was some truth to your comments. “Goodnight, Y/N,” Sam said after a few awkward moments of silence.
“Goodnight, girlfriend,” you teased as you got as comfortable as you could you a hospital bed before sleep consumed you.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
In the morning, you were discharged from the hospital but had to walk around with crutches for a while. And to put it short, you hated it. Yes, having to walk around with them constantly clanking every time you walked got annoying, and how your armpits ached at the end of each day. But the worst part was that you couldn’t impress Sam with them.
Naturally, you were angry at Sam for throwing a knife in your leg, but you also shouldn’t have been staring at her while she was changing.
“Who even changes with their window open anyways?” Mindy asked one night while over at Tara’s apartment for dinner. You and Mindy had been invited over for a girl dinner with the Carpenters as you four sat around the dining table. The table had a dish of lasagna along with a salad bowl prepared, and you could not wait to eat the delicious food Sam had prepared.
“My room was hot, and I was letting in fresh air; I didn’t think someone would try and break in,” Sam stated as she made herself a bowl of salad with her lasagna.
“I did not break in. Tara invited me over and told me to go through her open window,” you said once you finished a bite of your food, “so technically, it’s her fault.”
Tara scoffed at your words while throwing a crouton at you, earning herself a scolding look from Sam. “Do not try and blame this on me; I texted you and told you that wasn’t my room, but you didn’t see it,” Tara replied.
“Why did you even tell her to climb through your window?” Sam asked with a puzzled look.
“Because, Sam, you would have told her to leave or probably stabbed her, but you already did that,” Tara dryly said, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. Sam rolled her eyes at her sister's statement before focusing on her food.
“I was lightly stabbed, so it’s not that big of a deal,” you said.
“You were still stabbed, Y/N,” Tara replied annoyedly. She knew that you were weirdly happy about Sam stabbing you, but she tried her best to ignore it.
“Lightly stabbed.”
Mindy chuckled while looking at you, “Whatever. I still can’t believe she threw a knife at you; me personally, I would not let that slide.”
“It’s whatever; I didn’t even notice it until Tara came barging into the room,” you said while looking at Sam, who picked her food with her fork and refused to meet your gaze.
Mindy just laughed at your response before returning her attention to her food. The rest of dinner was filled with laughs and idle conversations, but you couldn’t help but notice how Sam didn’t participate in any of the conversations. You had tried to get her engaged, but she would either respond with a nod, a laugh, or a single word.
Sam felt bad for reacting the way she did, and she wanted to apologize to you, but she didn’t know how without bringing up the fact you slightly deserved it. So, when dinner was finished, and the rest of the group moved into the living room to watch a movie, Sam pulled you aside.
“What’s up?” You asked with a smile as you leaned on a crutch. It had been a couple of weeks since you were discharged from the hospital, so now you only walked around with one crutch.
That smile you gave her, Sam couldn’t find the correct words to describe it. It was the most beautiful thing she had ever seen, and she wanted to kiss it off your lips. “Just so you know, you’re insufferable and intolerable. And I hate you.”
“Oh, okay,” you said with that same smile, fully knowing Sam was lying. Sam, on the other hand, desperately needed to get away from you, or she might do something she would regret. “Is there anything else you need?” You asked.
With a sigh, Sam asked, “Yes, actually. What are some books I could read? I’ve been trying to get into reading because of Tara, and I wanted to discuss them with her, and I need to have a few books under my belt before I do that.”
Your smile grew ten times bigger at Sam’s question, and the older woman wanted to murder you for it. “I have been waiting for ages for you to ask me that. I actually have a copy of my favorite book with me if you want to give it a try?” You asked as you made your way over to your backpack.
Sam followed behind you and watched as you moved around your sleeping clothes and pulled out a weathered book. It had different colored sticky notes hanging from the pages, and the edges around the book looked like they had their share of bumps and drops.
Sam grabbed the book and read the cover with a scoff. “Look, Y/N; I’m not reading a book about a woman who had seven different husbands. That’s just absurd,” the Latina said with a dry tone.
“No,” you replied as you placed your hand on Sam’s wrist, holding the book, “trust me, Sam. Just try it; it’s not what you think it is.”
“Alright, fine. If this book is better than it sounds,” Sam said as she looked around the room with a huff, “I guess I’ll treat you with respect or something.”
Sam didn’t even have time to react before she felt the hand on her wrist pull away and pinch her cheek. “I know you’ll love it,” you said with a cheeky grin as Sam slapped your hand away from her face. “Do not ever do that again,” she warned as she pointed a finger in your face.
“Yes, ma’am,” you responded with a salute before walking back toward the living room, “is there anything else you need?”
‘I want to take you on a date and then put your head on a stick,’ Sam wanted to say but said, “I’ll let you know what I think of it.”
You gave Sam a soft smile as you returned to the living room. Sam didn’t know what she was feeling toward you, but she eventually sauntered off to her room after realizing she cared about you more than friends do.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
“Come on, Tara; The Babadook is easily one of the worst horror movies ever made!” You exclaimed with your hands as you stared down at the more petite girl. You had finally gotten your stitches out and were no longer walking around with a crutch, so that meant a celebration night over at the Carpenter’s apartment.
“No, it’s not! You just hate it so much because it scares you!” Tara retorted as she hit the leg closest to her, which happened to be the one Sam lightly stabbed.
You moved your legs up onto the loveseat you were sitting on after she hit you, “Yeah, and also because it scares me so much! And don’t hit me, you little shit.” Tara scoffed at your words and stood up and grabbed one of her shoes, and was getting ready to launch it at you when the door to the apartment opened. She quickly dropped the shoe and stood facing the door with her hands clasped behind her back and an innocent smile, as if she wasn’t just getting ready to throw a shoe as hard as she could at your face. “What’s going on?” Sam asked when she saw Tara standing with a creepy smile and your shocked expression.
“Tara was-”
“I was getting up to order some pizza!” Tara interrupted you and sent you a death glare when Sam turned her back to hang up her purse. Sam turned around and looked between you two and ignored the shoe she saw by Tara’s feet; whatever her sister was getting ready to do to you, you probably deserved it.
“Okay,” Sam replied as she exaggerated the word before walking to her room, but not before sending you a glare. “Nice to see you, Sam!” you said with a smile while Sam huffed before slamming her door. “You are such a charmer,” Tara joked as she shoved your legs off the couch so she could sit next to you.
You scoffed at Tara’s words while you reached for the remote and pushed Tara off you when she tried to take it from you. “No! Down girl, down!” You said when you finally pushed Tara off of you. She scoffed as you turned on the tv before leaning back on the couch and putting her feet in your lap. You pulled her feet more into your lap and let your hand rest on her leg while you looked for something to watch. Naturally, Tara made it hard for you to pick something out because she refused to watch anything you wanted to spite you, but eventually, you settled on watching ‘Carol.’ You loved this movie more than anything, even though you cried every time you watched it.
For some unknown reason, Tara pulled her feet from your lap and left the couch roughly ten minutes into the movie. “I’ll be right back,” she said as she walked toward her room with her phone in hand. “Do you want me to pause it for you?” You asked as you reached for the remote but stopped when Tara told you not to wait up on her. You missed the devilish smirk she wore on her lips as she disappeared into her room.
You continued to watch the movie by yourself when you heard a door open up. “Finally! I was starting to think that you were leaving me here to hang out with Sam,” you said with a smile as you paused the movie and finally turned around to face Tara, but your smile faded once you saw Sam. “Oh, I’m sorry; I thought you were Tara,” you said with an embarrassed tone as your eyes refused to meet Sam’s piercing gaze.
The older woman huffed at your words before she went to the couch and sat at the opposite end while unlocking her phone, trying to keep as much space as possible between you two. “Tara texted me and told me that she felt sick and she didn’t want you to leave because it’s late at night and doesn’t want anything to happen to you, so she wants me to keep you company,” Sam read aloud her text messages between her and Tara before she closed her phone and set it on the coffee table in front of you guys.
“You don’t have to; I’m fine staying in here by myself,” you said with a polite smile while looking at Sam. The woman turned her head and looked at you before giving you the fakest smile you have ever seen while she lied through her teeth, “That’s alright, I’m good to stay in here with you.” The tension was so thick you could practically taste it on your tongue, but you held your breath and muttered a quiet ‘okay’ as you restarted the movie.
It’s not that she hated being around you after the incident; the only thing she wanted to do was kiss you and call you hers, but she was afraid you wouldn’t feel the same. Especially after she lightly stabbed you.
“Wait, why are you restarting it?” Sam questioned as she looked between you and the tv.
“Because you missed the opening scene, which is arguably one of the best scenes in the movie, and you also need to watch it to understand the ending better,” you reasoned with an honest smile while your gentle eyes danced across Sam’s face.
She didn’t know why, but after listening to your explanation of why the opening scene was essential and listening to your voice that was full of only love and admiration for this movie, Sam decided that she would actually pay attention to it, rather than send you hateful glances every once in a while.
So when the tv finally stopped the introduction, and it was Carol and Therese sitting together at a dinner table in a fancy restaurant, Sam picked up on the tension-riddled scene and couldn’t help but glance over at you. She noticed how your eyebrows furrowed, and your eyes danced between Carol and Therese as if you were getting ready to jump through the tv and become a part of the movie. Her eyes finally drifted down to your lips, and she noticed how your tongue was barely sticking out between your lips as you studied the screen, as if there was going to be something small in the background, and if you blinked, you would miss it.
“Are you even watching?” You questioned when you felt eyes burning into the side of your skull, but your own eyes never left the screen.
Sam awkwardly cleared her throat before speaking, “Sorry; you just seem really invested in this movie, and I thought it was funny.” You felt heat creep up the back of your neck at Sam’s words but shook it off as her being cautious of you. “It’s a great film, Sam. I think you’ll like it,” you replied with a gentle smile as you pried your eyes away from the screen to look at Sam before returning your attention to the tv.
When you said that she might like it, Sam took her eyes away from you and actually paid attention to the movie. When the sex scene came up, the air in the room became tense, as if both of you were holding your breath and holding back from one another. Sam tried her best to fight back the blush she felt, and she looked to you for help. You had your mouth agape, no matter how often you watched this scene, you were always enchanted by it, and you whispered, “I wish that were me.” Even though she tried to, Sam couldn’t come up with a retort for your comment; she also wishes she could do that with Cate Blanchett, but she also wishes that was her with you.
Sam then turned her attention back to the screen and had to fight any urges that she might have been feeling toward you. Her eyes never left the screen until the very end; only when she had to blink back the eyes that threatened to escape as she looked up at the ceiling. When the end credits rolled, you cleared your throat, tension still left over from the sex scene, “So, what did you think of it?”
“It was certainly something. It was a lot better than I expected, just based on your taste in things,” Sam joked as she subtly wiped the tears away in her eyes. You chuckled at her words, ‘if you only you knew,’ you thought as she stared at her with hearty eyes.
You quickly snapped out of your daze when you noticed Sam shuffling uncomfortably on the couch, “Well, I’m glad you enjoyed it. And just so you know,” you said as you stood up from the couch, “I have an exceptional taste in things.”
Sam laughed at your words before standing up, “I highly doubt that.” You smiled at the older woman before making your way to Tara’s room; you had plans to murder the little shit for leaving you alone with Sam. “Goodnight, Sam,” you said with a smile as you opened Tara’s door slightly. Sam gave you a genuine smile as she went to her room, “Goodnight, Y/N.”
This was the first time you had had a direct conversation with Sam since she pulled you aside and asked for a book recommendation, and you wished you could have more conversations with the woman. She was smarter than she gave herself credit for, and the way she expressed herself through body language while talking was something you found attractive, to put it lightly.
When you entered Tara’s room, you saw the girl lying toward the foot of her bed with her laptop open, and you could faintly hear Toni Collette giving her ‘I am your mother’ speech. “So, how did it go with Samantha?” Tara questioned with a smug grin as you sat on the bed with your back propped against the headboard. You threw your legs up onto the bed and dug the heel of your right foot into Tara’s back, causing the girl to let out a small yelp before shoving your leg off of her and scolding you.
“Whatever, you deserved it,” you said as you crossed your ankles and left them next to Tara, who was still facing the foot of the bed. “And for your information, it was fine. She didn’t try and kill me again,” you joked.
“A win is a win,” Tara replied as she moved to sit next to you and put the laptop on your lap while she cuddled up next to you. You put your arm around her waist and placed a platonic kiss on her head right when Sam walked in.
“Oh, I’m sorry. I can come back later,” Sam said as she looked down at the floor and turned her back to you two, embarrassed that she had just walked in on an intimate moment between you and her sister and ignored the pain she felt in her heart. “No, it’s okay, Sam,” Tara said while pulling away from you and silently encouraging you to go after Sam even though she was still in the doorway.
“I thought you were sick?” Sam asked with her back still facing you two. “Yeah, I can’t explain that one without unveiling my grand scheme of things plan,” Tara said while getting up from her bed and turning Sam to face her, “I’m serious, Sam. Nothing is going on between me and Y/N.”
Sam looked away from her sister and saw you sitting on Tara’s bed, smiling as you sent her a small wave. The woman scoffed at your actions before returning to her room.
Once Sam was gone, Tara closed the door, walked over to you, and hit you in the stomach. “The fuck was that, Y/N?” She whisper-shouted at you, “I basically admitted to having a plan of forcing you and Sam together, and you fucking wave at her?”
“I didn’t know what you wanted me to do!” You defended.
Tara sighed at your statement; she had laid the groundwork, and then just like clockwork, the dominos were supposed to cascade in a line because she’s a mastermind, but your dumbass messed it up. “Go talk to Sam. Right. Now. Or so help me God, I will violently murder you to death,” Tara commanded as she pulled you from her bed and pushed you toward the door. “And do not come back until you have talked to her,” and with that, Tara shut the door in your face and locked it.
You sighed before walking toward the living room. You thought about sleeping on the couch, but you knew Tara would probably draw a penis on your face while you slept, so you sucked in a deep breath before walking toward Sam’s door.
Sam heard a gentle knock of three intervals at her door, pulling her away from her note. “Just a minute,” she said as she finished her writing and slipped it into a preselected page in the book.
“What’s up?” She asked once when she opened her door and saw you.
“I just wanted to ask you about the book,” you replied with a smile that Sam wanted to kiss off your lips.
Instead of doing what she desired, she left her door open while grabbing the book and handed it back to you. “This is the saddest book I have ever read. Who would come up with such a thing?”
You chuckled at her words and accepted the book, “I know. I take it; you finished it?”
“Barely. But I finished it in one sitting,” Sam said while staring into your love-struck eyes. Sam swore she could feel herself getting lost in them, and she never wanted to leave your eyes.
“So, what did you think of it?” You asked.
“It was alright. Some pages were hard to read because of the tear-stained pages.”
You lightly laughed at Sam’s words, and the older woman felt her heart might explode if she heard that soft laugh again. “Yeah, I’m sorry about that. This book really gets to me, you know?” You said while your eyes quickly glanced down at Sam’s lips, wondering if they tasted as good as they looked.
Sam cleared her throat, and you knew you had been busted. “So, I guess I’ll have to treat you with respect now,” she admitted through a tightened jaw.
“Or whatever,” you said with a smile, hoping Sam picked up the double meaning, and she did.
“Yeah, or whatever.”
“Just so you know, nothing is going on between me and Tara,” you clarified after a few seconds, and you set the book down on the couch behind you.
Sam knew that there wasn’t anything between you and her sister, but hearing those words leave your lips gave Sam a feeling of comfort she didn’t know she needed. “I know, Y/N.”
“Okay. I just wanted to clarify that before I did this,” Sam didn’t even have time to react before she felt your hands grip her neck and pull her into a passionate kiss. The way your lips felt like they had been made for her lips amazed Sam, and she finally felt her heart explode when she matched your intensity.
Your lips danced together as Sam deepened the kiss and pulled you by your waist closer to her. You felt her tongue push past your lips, and an involuntary moan slipped out, causing Sam to laugh against your lips. When you felt Sam’s hands drift toward the bottom of your shirt, you lifted your arms, and Sam got halfway into taking it off before you two heard a voice behind you, “Goddamnit, Y/N! I told you to apologize, not swap spit with her!”
You pulled away from Sam and turned to face Tara, who smiled knowingly. “Sorry,” you mumbled while fixing your shirt.
An awkward beat of silence passed while Tara looked between you and her sister with a sly smirk on her lips before she finally said, “I’ll leave you two to it,” and walked away.
“I’m sorry about that,” Sam said once Tara was gone. You turned to look at Sam, and you smiled at her swollen lips and blown pupils. You said nothing as you placed a final kiss on Sam’s lips that the older woman happily reciprocated.
“I should probably leave,” you mumbled against Sam’s lips, and she kissed you once more before pulling away. “Don’t forget your book,” Sam said while grabbing it for you.
“Thank you,” you replied with a tint of blush on your cheeks. Sam walked you to the door with her hand on the lower of your back, and you only wanted to run back into her room and throw Sam on her bed, but you doubted Tara would appreciate that.
When you reached the door, you placed a chaste kiss on Sam’s lips before opening up the door. “I’ll see you around?” You asked, afraid that this was a one-time thing.
Sam leaned against the doorframe, and she couldn’t contain the smile that pulled at her cheeks. “Of course, Y/N.”
You smiled at her and began walking down the hallway when Sam called out, “It's me and you, true blue.”
You placed a kiss on your pointer and middle finger before holding them toward Sam with a smile on your face. The woman laughed at your action and pretended to catch the fake kiss and her fist to her heart.

At home, you fall onto your couch and struggled to get your shoes off. Once they were off, you relaxed and pulled out the book and started reading it. When you ran your fingers over the pages, a small note fell out from the middle of the book and you moved to that page.
In the center of the page was a headline from Sub Rosa titled, ‘Evelyn Hugo and Celia St. James Slumber Parties,’ and you couldn’t help but laugh at the page.
When you opened up the note, written in the most beautiful penmanship said,
‘Want to go grab a milkshake with me sometime? I doubt we’ll find a place as good as Schwab’s, but we can try. We can also have ‘slumber parties’ of our own when Tara is away. ;)
All my love,
Samantha

Designated Driver
Tara Carpenter x gn!reader
Summary: pretty much the title
Words: 0.5k
A/n: tiny drabble before smut :O
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
“Dude, you’ve definitely had too much to drink”
“You have such squishy cheeks, have i ever told you that?” Tara slurs her words as she pinches your left cheek, her breath smelling of booze
“Alright, that’s enough” You decide to ignore how you feel your cheeks get warmer “I’ll go get everyone else. Stay here, don’t go anywhere”
“Waaaaait don’t leave me… I miss you” Tara wraps her arms around your neck, and you also decide to ignore how she’s pressing kisses against your shoulder
You were everyone’s designated driver, being the most responsible out of the group. Sam approved of your presence when she wasn’t able to be with them, and she trusted you with her sister. With Tara around your neck, she quickly migrated to your back, forcing you into giving her a piggyback ride. You two somewhat resembled a koala and his mom, which Mindy made sure to point out
It was your job to take care of your friends like a single mother, and you took your job very seriously
“C’mon, everyone. Keep walk- Mindy stop making out with Anika. You two can have sex when you get home. I don’t want to clean up my leather seats”
“You’re no fun… why do we have to go?”
“It’s past your bedtime.”
“You’re not my mom!”
“I am, actually. Now keep walking before i decide to bodyslam you into my car”
“Stop bein’ mean to Mindy” Tara mumbles into your neck, and her breath sends shivers down your spine
“Everyone. Car. Including you, Tar”
“Can i sit on your lap?”
“If you’re good i’ll spend the night over” Just like that, Tara is off your back and seated in your car along with Anika, Mindy, and Chad. You drive to the twins’ place first, and Anika decides to stay with her girlfriend for the night. When they leave, Tara crawls through the middle space to sit in the front seat next to you
“Don’t you need to get clothes from your place?” Tara asks, and you notice how she’s sobered up the tiniest bit
“I think you’ve stolen like half my wardrobe”
“You have a hot jawline.”
“Go to sleep, Tara”
“I’ll make sure to dream about your jawline”
“Wow, i guess your true motives are showing” You playfully grumble, nearing Tara’s and Sam’s apartment
“Carry me?”
“You have legs”
“But you’re strong”
“So are you, babe” You pat Tara’s thigh “Put those legs to good work”
“You sound like my middle school gym teacher…”
You chuckle at the thought of middle school Tara, but you ultimately let her climb on your back when she looks up at you with her doe eyes. Your girlfriend knows exactly how to make you fold
“Jesus, isn’t it illegal to have a non-working elevator?” You’re huffing and puffing by the time you make it to Tara’s floor, and she lets out a giggle
“It’s okay, babe. You’re hot when you’re tired” She presses a kiss to your cheek as payment when she gets off your back
“And you’re horny when you’re drunk. I’m too sleepy for sex, Tar”
“You might actually be the meanest person i know.”

ETHAN WALKING IN ON YOU CHANGING FIC !!!
LETS DO IT!!! I’m not sure if you wanted this suggestive or fluff so there’s bothhh!
Accident — Ethan Landry ★
Tumblr media
PAIRING: Ethan x fem!reader
A/N: we loveee dizzy being in her active era!!
Tumblr media
All Ethan was trying to do was give you back the notebook you left in his dorm when you had come over to study the other day. He didn’t know you’d be half naked when he walked in. And plus he knocked! Twice! He’s never been so embarrassed, well he has, but this felt so much worse for some reason. Maybe cause he’s liked you for so long now and he’s dreamed of seeing you like that, but on other circumstances. Circumstances where it was intentional.
“Chad, I can’t face her. This is so bad, oh my god,” Ethan’s worried voice was muffled by his hands covering his face. His roommate wasn’t doing anything to help him either, he was just laughing in his face. “Dude! It’ll be fine, don’t stress it,” Chad said while slapping Ethan’s back. Ethan shot him a glare and continued to pace the living room of the apartment you shared with Sam, Tara, and Quinn. Anika was actually trying to help him, Mindy was making fun of him just like her twin was, and Tara was trying her best to help and not laugh at the same time.
There was no way he’d be able to look you in the eyes again. What did you think of him now?? Did you think he was creepy?? A perv?? Would you yell at him when you walked back in?? Tara put a hand on Ethan’s shoulder trying to calm him down, “I’m sure it’s fine, Eth-” Ethan shook his head, “Its not! It’s so embarrassing you don’t understand- I like her a lot and I was planning to ask her out soon but there’s no chance she’d ever say yes now. Oh my god, I can’t imagine what she thinks of me right now,” he rambled while he flopped on the couch.
Ethan’s hands were on his face again and he noticed how everyone went silent. He slowly lowered his hands and looked at everyone, but they were focused on something else. He slowly followed their gazes to see you standing right there. Oh no. Did you hear that? How does everything keep getting worse?Ethan’s face turned bright red and he didn’t know what to do or what to say. After a moment of silence and way too much eye contact he spoke up, “Did you hear that?” He wanted to wince at how small and weak his voice sounded.
“Hear what?” You asked with an innocent tone and a head tilt. But you definitely knew and he knew you knew. I mean you had to. He could read you like a book. There was a mischievous glint in your eyes and a ghost of a smirk on your pretty lips, the lips he wanted to kiss so bad. After another pause of silence Chad decided to put on a movie so everyone could calm down and have a chill little movie night. Ethan was extremely thankful his roommate had a good idea for once, hoping this would take his mind off of everything that just happened.
He was talking with Anika and was starting to relax until you called for him, “Hey Eth, you wanna help me get the popcorn started?” He froze. Why? He wasn’t sure. This was normal and you didn’t seem to be upset at him or anything. This was fine, everything would be fine. “Yeah, sure,” he mumbled as he stood up. He made his way over to you in the kitchen and you smiled at him. He did his best to smile back and watched you get the popcorn bag and put it in the microwave. He looked at what you were wearing, little pajama shorts and a T-Shirt. Then he remembered what you were wearing when he walked in on you, nothing but your underwear.
He’d be lying if he said thinking about you wasn’t making him flush pink and a little hard. “Ethan?” His head snapped to look at your eyes, not realizing he had been staring at your ass the whole time. “I asked if you would get two bowls out for me? Mindy and Anika want to share and Chad and Tara are sharing. I guess you could get three if you want to share with me.” He barely registered what you had said but got three bowls out quickly, wanting to drown out the dirty thoughts he had begun to think about.
It was then he realized he hadn’t apologized for barging in your room just under 10 minutes ago. He placed the bowls on the counter and glanced at you, but you were already looking at him. He cleared his throat, “Um I’m sorry- y’know about earlier. I didn’t mean to walk in on you, I mean obviously. It was an accident, I promise,” he said quickly. You giggled at the flustered boy and he tried his best to avoid your gaze, but he couldn’t. He looked at you and the look on your face and he smiled, the blush on his cheeks not leaving.
“It’s okay, Eth. I didn’t mind,” you told him with a slight smirk. His eyebrows raised slightly and you chuckled. You leaned in and his breath hitched, he didn’t know where this was going. Your hand snaked up his chest and all the way up to cup his face. You admired him for a second before you inched closer to him, making sure nobody else would hear you, “I was kind of sad you didn’t stay,” you said quietly. He didn’t understand. “What?” He asked matching your volume.
“Well all day I’ve been thinking about you.” Your hand was now touching his biceps. “I was hoping when you walked in you would’ve stayed and helped me out, been so needy for you all day,” you confessed while looking at him with big eyes. He thought he was gonna pass out. His cock was definitely hard now, now that he knew you thought of him like he thought of you. And you wanted him, you needed him, just like how he wanted and needed you. “Fuck,” he muttered. You were so close to him and all he wanted was to fuck you against the counter or kiss you, or touch you. Just something. But there were people around.
He couldn’t give a fuck less about a movie right now or that he heard Chad asking what the fuck was taking so long, all he cared about was you. You were intoxicating. “Can we go to my dorm?” He asked you suddenly, the tension getting too much for him. Ethan searched your eyes for any signs of disgust or discomfort, but he didn’t find anything like that. Your eyes were full of lust and want, and it was for him, all for him. “Yes please,” you grabbed his hand and left the kitchen. “We’re going, don’t wait up!” You rushed out the door with Ethan stumbling behind you, a dumb smile on his face.

“I got you,” you gritted out. “I got you.” You looked into Anika’s pleading eyes as you held her hand.
The voices and screams of the others were indecipherable, all you could focus on was Anika. Her terrified eyes as tears streamed down her face, the way her mouth moved as she screamed, begging for her life. You could feel the slipperiness of the blood coating both your hands. Anika’s wide eyes were the only thing you saw as she slid from your grasp.
Everything went silent, your surroundings fading to black, the only thing left was Anika’s endless falling, her face frozen in terror. There wasn’t even a sound as her body hit the ground. The only thing you could do was stare down at her lifeless corpse, head bashed open, her lively eyes now dull.
You watched her, watched as her body twitched, her head turning to stare right back up at you, her eyes remaining dead. “You failed me,” Anika’s voice void of any emotion said. It didn’t sound like her, it didn’t even sound human.
“I-I-” you tried to explain but there was no explanation. The only explanation was that you failed. You had her in your hands, and you dropped her. Your best friend was dead, and it was all your fault.
“Why did you fail me?” The disembodied voice of Anika asked again.
“I-I-I tried. I tried,” tears were streaming down your face.
Anika’s face twisted into something inhuman, a hatred you knew all too well filling her eyes, it was the hatred you saw in the mirror every day since you let this happen. “You couldn’t save me,” her voice became more distorted. “You can’t save anyone. You won’t be able to save Tara.”
The scene shifted; it was no longer Anika in front of you it was Tara. You were holding Tara up; she was slipping through your fingers just as Anika had. “Nononono,” you gripped her tighter, trying to find the strength to yank her up. “I got you. I got you.”
Tara’s tear-stained face looked up at you, her mascara smeared down her cheeks. “Why did you let me go?” She asked, her voice not matching the direness of the situation.
“What?” You asked confused.
Tara lost the terrified look on her face, instead a twisted smile appeared as she let go of your hand. “No!” You screamed, gripping the windowsill as you watched the love of your life fall to her death, her arms and legs flailing as she screamed for help.
The impact never came though. As soon as Tara would have hit the ground you shot up, your heart beating a mile a minute as you looked around, you were in your room, it was just a dream, just another dream. You buried your head in your hands as you wiped away the tears. Your entire body shook as you pressed your palms hard against your eyes trying to forget the images from your nightmare. You knew it was futile though, the images never left, you saw them every time you closed your eyes. It was only recently you were no longer just being haunted by Anika but by Tara as well. You knew Tara was alive, she has made it out, all of you had, that didn’t stop the images of her death at your hands haunting you. Dream Anika was right, you couldn’t save her so there was no way you’d ever be able to save Tara.
You slid out of bed, moving to your dresser to grab a fresh shirt when you sighed, threw the shirt back down and just made your way to the bathroom. You were drenched in sweat, your sleep shirt completely soaked through, a shower would be more useful, and it wasn’t like you were going back to sleep. You didn’t even bother looking at the time before you hopped in, feeling the warm water wash over you. You stood under the shower head, head rested against the cool tile as the water slowly went from hot to cold, you didn’t even flinch at the temperature change, you let it wash over you for another minute before finally getting out.
You put on fresh clothes and finally looked at your phone, first seeing a text from Tara.
Tara: Night, love you
A small smile tugged at your lips before forming into a frown again. Tara had asked you to come over, but you brushed her off saying you had to much homework. You weren’t trying to distance yourself from her, it wasn’t like you were mad at her or blamed her for anything, you just hadn’t had a good night's sleep since the attack, and you didn’t want to be an inconvenience to her. This was the second time Tara had been through an attack, she lost a friend, she should be focusing on herself not taking care of you. The next thing you noticed was the time, 3:42am, you closed your eyes, sighing, feeling the exhaustion that was now just a part of your life. You decided to make yourself a bowl of cereal and just turn on the TV, throwing on old episodes of Criminal Minds as you waited for it to become time to leave for class. It was rare you didn’t wake up before 4am now, you were getting used to it, the less than five hours of sleep, the nightmares, being covered in sweat, waking up before the rest of the world.
As you passed through the kitchen your eyes landed on the get well soon card your parents had sent. You scooped up a spoonful of cereal as you flipped open the card again, a basic store-bought card that your parents managed to at least sign. You flipped the card away and moved to the couch, easing yourself down. Your wounds were mostly healed but certain movements still ached, Tara and the doctors said that would be normal for a little while, after all it had only been about a month since the attack.
After a few hours of mindlessly staring at the TV, not even paying attention to what episode you were on you jumped to your feet, grabbed your bag for the day and walked out the door, triple checking to make sure you locked it. As you made your way across campus you noticed there were a few students walking about, meaning it wouldn’t be another case of you awkwardly standing outside the building of your first class waiting for Tara.
You leaned against the stone railing, rubbing your hands together to keep them warm. You don’t think to grab anything bigger than a hoodie and you almost never wore gloves, you watched as other students ran into the warm building, bundled up in their jackets. You stared as the door swung closed again, the knowledge of warmth tempted you, but the cold was good. If you were cold, it meant your mind was focused on being cold instead of the death of your best friend. The only positive after the attack was that your grades hadn’t taken a noticeable slip, yet, you were sure it was only a matter of time before the exhaustion would catch up with you though.
“Hey,” Tara greeted cheerfully, breaking you out of your spiraling thoughts with a kiss on the cheek.
“Hey,” you replied, offering her a small smile.
“How long have you been waiting?” She watched you carefully, looking for any signs that you weren’t actually okay like you were trying to come off.
“Not long,” You tried for a more convincing smile. Tara knew you better than anyone, she was the hardest to convince that you were okay, even though a part of her never seemed to believe you based on the way you’d catch her watching you.
She squinted, staring deep into your eyes, you started to fidget from foot to foot but you kept your smile on. “Okay,” she said, taking your hand in her own and led you into the building.
You sat next to Tara in class, hand in hand like you always did. The professor was lecturing about something, you couldn’t even attempt to pretend you knew what. You were zoned out, playing with your pen as you stared ahead, your eyelids becoming heavier by the second.
You saw flashes of Anika, her face, her hand in yours, you losing your grip, her falling. Your eyes snapped back open when there was a loud screech as the professor moved something. Your eyes darted around the room, you had dropped your pen, you managed to not yell at being woken up, no one was paying any attention to you except for one person. Your eyes met Tara’s; her mouth partially open, ready to ask what was wrong. You silently cleared your throat, shifting in your seat to get comfortable again, as you offered her a small smile. You turned your attention back to the front, but you could feel Tara’s eyes on you, glancing out of the corner of your eye you saw the worried look. She knew you weren’t okay now and there was no way you’d be able to convince her after class.
When class ended as much as you wanted to run out of there and avoid Tara’s questions you waited, you stood patiently by as she packed up her bag, intertwining your hands when she was done and then walked out of the building together. The two of you walked hand in hand through the quad, you swallowed nervously, waiting for the moment she’d choose to strike.
“What happened in there?” She finally asked, keeping her pace, and only sparing you a worried glance.
“Nothing,” you tried shrugging her off. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
She stopped dead in her tracks, grabbing your arm with her free hand to force you to turn and face her. “Bullshit, what’s wrong?”
She was looking at you with those big brown eyes, you couldn’t take it. You looked to the sky, unable to hold eye contact with her anymore. You couldn’t lie to her, you could avoid the questions and try and brush everything off, but you could never lie to her at the end of the day. You wiped your eyes, trying to hide the tears that had begun to form, having an emotional breakdown after your first class of the day was not in your intended schedule, you were meant to save those for when you were home alone.
“Hey,” Tara said softly, gently pulling your hands away from your face and wiping your tears herself. “Talk to me.”
“I’m tired,” your voice cracked. You looked at her through blurry eyes, sniffling, “I’m so tired.” You stared into her eyes, hating to see her heartbreaking because of your pain. “How’d you deal with it?”
“Baby,” she whispered, tears filling her own eyes. You leaned into her hand when she caressed your cheek. “When was the last time you slept?”
You let out a humorless chuckle. “When I was in the hospital,” you admitted. “With you.” You dropped your eyes to the ground, finding your shoes much easier to look at than your girlfriend’s concerned face. It was true, once you got released from the hospital you had been staying at your dorm, you hadn’t stayed the night with Tara since the attack. You knew she wanted you to; she always asked you to stay when you were over at her apartment, but you always found a reason to turn her down. You didn’t have to worry about Tara staying at your place, as accepting as Sam was starting to become, she still wasn’t that accepting, she refused to let Tara stay the night anywhere that wasn’t their own apartment.
“Every time I close my eyes, I see Anika,” you looked up, meeting Tara’s gaze again, a few more tears falling from your eyes. Tara let out an understanding sigh. “And more recently, you.”
“Me?” she asked, confused.
You let out a shaky breath, this was going to be the first time you said it out loud, you hadn’t even told your therapist this new development in your nightmares. “The dreams always start off with Anika but towards the end it’s you. You’re the one I’m failing.”
“You haven’t failed anyone.”
“All I’ve done is fail!” you stepped out of Tara’s reach, running a hand through your hair. “Anika is dead because of me.” You looked Tara in the eye, trying to get her to see that it was all your fault. “I couldn’t save her. Mindy hates me because I couldn’t hold her girlfriends fucking hand for a minute.”
“Hey,” Tara said sternly, gripping you by your arms so you were forced to focus on her. “It was not your fault. And Mindy does not hate you.”
You scoffed at the notion. “How could she not? She hasn’t spoken to me since the attack. Not that I can blame her, I could have saved her girlfriend, but I didn’t.”
“You did everything you could! You were injured, she was hanging off a building, there was only so much you could do.”
“But-”
“And she’s not avoiding you!” Tara snapped, getting angry now, you flinched at her change in tone. “You’ve been avoiding everyone.”
“I haven’t,” you defended weakly.
“Yes, you have,” Tara sighed exasperated. “You’re trying,” she moved her hands to the back of your neck, scratching lightly. “I can see you’re trying but you’re pulling away. We haven’t talked about the attack once.”
“I just…” you dropped your eyes back to the ground. “You have enough to worry about.”
“Well, I worry anyway. I would worry less if you did talk to me.” You nodded. “I don’t know what’s going on in your head,” she ran a hand through your hair, giving it a light shake. “I want to know, no matter what it may be, I want to know. I want to be there for you.” You nodded again. “As long as you’re comfortable sharing with me.”
“I’m always comfortable with you,” you mumbled. You reached across the short distance between the two of you, playing with her fingers before you linked your hand with hers again.
“Let’s go,” she said abruptly.
Your head snapped back up to hers, giving her a confused gaze. “Where?”
“Home,” she started to walk again, tugging on your hand.
“What about class?”
“Who cares,” she tugged on your again.
“What about Sam?” your feet remained glued to their spot.
“She’s at work,” she tugged you impatiently. “Besides, she’ll understand.”
You couldn’t think of any more arguments as to why you shouldn’t go so reluctantly you moved your feet, allowing Tara to drag you back to her apartment. The whole way there she refused to let go of your hand. When you got to the apartment you couldn’t help but look around, Sam had found a new place almost instantly after the attacks were done, you’d been there a few times, but you still weren’t used to the change. Tara dragged you straight to her room and started digging through your backpack before you could take it off.
“What are you-”
“Take these,” she cut you off, holding out a pill bottle for you.
You took the pills from her looking to see it was the pills prescribed for you to help you sleep. “I don’t like them.”
“They’ll help you sleep.” She shrugged off her own bag, tossing it into the corner before helping you slip yours off and tossing it next to hers. “Take them,” she said again. “Now.”
You did as she asked but made sure she could see the obvious pout as you swallowed the pills. She only rolled her eyes, moving to her bed and yanking the covers back.
“Get in bed,” she ordered.
You listened, mumbling to yourself about how she was bossy, and you didn’t have to listen to her. When you settled under the covers, she crawled in next to you. “I’ll be here when you wake up,” she said, putting her hands under your shirt as she wrapped her arms around your waist, while resting her head on your shoulder.
“Thank you,” mumbled, placing a kiss on the top of her head before sleep quickly consumed you.
You let out a content sigh, feeling comfortable for the first time in a month as you stretched your arm to the other side of the bed. You blinked the sleep out of your eyes when you didn’t feel Tara next to you, the spot wasn’t cold yet, so you knew she had just gotten up. You reached over, grabbing your phone and saw that it was after two now, you had actually managed to sleep, it was only a few hours, but for once you weren’t tormented in your sleep by memories.
You sat up, rubbing the rest of the sleep from your eyes when you heard whispering outside the door. You swung your legs over the side of the bed and decided to venture out to find Tara, you knew she had to be somewhere in the apartment.
“Just be nice,” you picked up Tara whispering as you put your hand on the door handle.
“I’m always nice,” Sam harshly whispered back.
Despite your sleepy state you furrowed your brow, wondering when Sam was nice. You imagined Tara was giving her sister a similar look.
“Fine,” Sam whispered back.
You shrugged and opened the door, stepping right into the kitchen where Tara and Sam were standing. Tara whipped around, smiling at you widely, making it obvious that whatever she was talking to Sam about definitely had to do with you. Sam offered you a tight-lipped smile but didn’t glare at you, it was progress.
“We were going to order pizza for dinner,” Sam said, her voice becoming strained as if it pained her to be nice to you. “Will you be joining us?”
“Of course,” Tara answered for you. “Y/N is staying the night.”
“I am?”
“And the rest of the week,” Tara continued, ignoring your question as she wrapped an arm around your waist.
“All week?” Sam shouted; her eyes widened at the news.
You looked down at Tara for an answer, this was the first time you were hearing the news as well. Sam said she would no longer kick you out, but she also said she didn’t want you over 24/7 and you were thinking staying over for a whole week might be pushing it.
“All week,” Tara repeated, looking up at you with a small smile then raised an eyebrow at her sister, daring her to argue against it.
Sam released a sigh, closing her eyes as she most likely repressed an eyeroll. “Fine,” she shrugged. “Just don’t fall behind on school,” she gave Tara a pointed look.
Tara smiled sweetly at her sister before pulling you to the living room. You saw Chad in the chair, scrolling through a list of movies while Mindy sat on the couch, yelling at him to pick one. You froze in the doorway, wanting to run back to Tara’s room before Mindy could see you. Tara held you in place though, rubbing comforting circles on your back. Mindy glanced to the side, seeing you and Tara for the first time. You figured you’d see hatred, disgust, or any other terrible emotion on her face but there was none of that.
“Hey, stranger,” Mindy said with a soft smile. “We’re going to watch a movie. If Chad ever makes a decision,” she threw a glare at her brother. Chad rolled his eyes, glaring right back. “Join us,” she smiled at you again, patting the seat next to her.
You gave her a small smile, allowing Tara to lead you to the couch, forcing you to sit in the middle seat next to Mindy, while she sat on the other side of you.
“Any preference?” Mindy asked, looking back to the TV as Chad kept scrolling through movies.
You shrugged. “Something funny,” you said.
“I got it!” Chad smiled innocently at Mindy.
Mindy narrowed her gaze at Chad, none of you had seen what he picked and knowing Chad it could literally be anything. When the movie started Miny groaned throwing her head back.
“Dodgeball, really?” she let out an exaggerated sigh.
“They wanted something funny,” Chad defended, pointing at you.
You quietly chuckled at the twin’s argument, it almost felt like things were normal. You also couldn’t complain about the movie, you knew it wasn’t Mindy’s favorite, though she didn’t seem to like anything that wasn’t horror, you however did enjoy the movie and it was the kind of movie you needed in the moment.
So that’s how you spent the night, watching Dodgeball with the gang until the pizza arrived. There was light talking and jokes but mostly you all just sat in a comfortable silence. Even Sam joined in on the fun, taking the chair across from Chad once she placed the order for the pizza. Sam didn’t joke around a ton but there was a few moments when you saw the hints of a smile, not that she’d ever admit it.
At the end of the night Tara went to the kitchen to help Sam with the dishes, leaving you alone with Chad and Mindy. You were playing with your fingers, not paying attention to what the others were doing until Chad got up from his chair without a word and walked into the kitchen. You rolled your shoulders, trying to ease the tension in your back now that you were left with only Mindy.
“Hey,” Mindy said softly, bumping your shoulder with her own. You glanced at her out of the corner of your eye, seeing she had moved closer to you. You hummed in acknowledgement but didn’t face her, you still couldn’t bring yourself to look her in the eye for to long. “You know we’re okay, right?” you nodded unconvincingly. “Look at me,” she bumped your shoulder again until you finally looked at her. “I know you blame yourself for what happened.” Your eyes drifted back down to your clasped hands. “But I don’t. No one does. You just need to work on forgiving yourself,” she rubbed a hand up and down your back until you nodded.
It was only a few minutes later when Chad entered the room again, grabbing Mindy and the two to of them said their goodbyes as they made their way back to their dorm. You sat silently on the couch, thinking about what Mindy had said. She literally just told you she didn’t blame you for Anika’s death, even though you already knew that, now there was no arguing against it, her confirmation was all that was needed, that didn’t mean you didn’t still hate yourself though. Mindy said you needed to forgive yourself, that seemed a lot easier said than done.
Tara rejoined you on the couch, intertwining her hand with yours. You heard Sam call out a goodnight before hearing the door to her room shut a second later. Tara rested her head on your shoulder and began playing with her fingers and yours.
“Are you doing better?” she whispered.
“The best I’ve been in weeks,” you whispered back. “Thank you.”
“Good.” She lifted her head to place a long kiss on your cheek before resting it on your shoulder again. “We’re all here for you whenever you’re ready.” You nodded, placing a kiss on the top of her head. “Even Sam.” You chuckled at that. You knew she wasn’t wrong, if you really needed someone to talk to Sam would be there for you, she might not enjoy it, but she understood, and she’d be there.
“I have therapy tomorrow,” you said slowly. “Would you come with me?” your hands felt sweaty, but you couldn’t wipe them on your pants. Tara hadn’t let go of your hand, so she didn’t seem to mind the sweatiness at least. “You don’t have to,” you added quickly, rambling on, “I know it means waiting in the waiting room and I know you probably have better things to do and-”
She cut you off by grabbing your face with both her hands and pulling you in for a kiss. Your mind went blank, forgetting whatever you were rambling about. Your shoulders instantly relaxed, your hands moving to rest on Tara’s waist as you reciprocated the kiss.
“I would love to,” she whispered, resting her forehead against yours. “Only if you’re comfortable with that of course.”
You nodded, not trusting your voice anymore. The two of you stayed like that for a minute, just being in the presence of each other. You wrapped your arms around Tara, and she wrapped her arms around your waist, you shifted positions, so you laid on the couch, with Tara laying on top of you. She rested her head on your chest, lightly scratching your back as you drifted back off to sleep.

The sheep we adore so much is change, but we still love them
I love imagine how the brothers pampered MC SO MUCH
i love imagine how the royals, the angels, and our fucking teacher ALL PAMPERED MC.
They said demon would corrupt human's soul.
Remember that Thirteen said that Solomon's soul is different but still shining?
MC is the similar case.
Their soul is the shining pink sheep shape, but their their ribbons which has a bell on it, is the wool white one with the black radiant.
I believe that the ribbon was the wool white color, so why the color changes?
They're corrupted by the demons.
They're pampered by the angels.
They're spoiled by Solomon and Thirteen.
The demons, well, they all encourage MC to express what they want, what they desire, what they wish for.
Tumblr media
Lucifer rewards MC for their hard work, he enjoys the petting when only he and MC alone. But what he did the most was let MC throw a small tantrum to them.
The eldest brother believes that if MC never throws a tantrum at him or the other brothers, it means they are treating them still wrong. He gives MC the PRIVILEGE to show anger with him. Still, he seldom sees MC angry and kind of disappointed with the failure.
The Avatar of Pride doesn't know that MC cares the trust of him the most in their relationship.
MC values themselves as the one who Lucifer trust enough to take care his brothers and share his burdens. They realize how busy Lucifer is so in the most situations, MC would forgive Lucifer if he lose his temper or being too harsh when he's too busy to take a break.
And that's the reason why MC gave NB!Lucifer silent treatment when they found that Luciferr use the apple to test them.
Sort of, what Lucifer want to see in original timeline, NB! Lucifer got and he finally could use Barbatos's cake to apologize to MC.
Apologize for those misunderstandings when they were the human exchange student. Apologize for failing to protect them. Apologize for that his pride couldn't allow him to open his heart to them fully. Apologize for that he would love them even though they're not related to Lilith, but the selfish part pushes him to decide that HE CAN'T LET YOU GO.
Tumblr media
Mammon showers his love on MC in three ways: gifts, fortune, and his time.
Earrings, necklace, watch, and bags, even his treat to have dinner in Hell's Kitchen or Ristorante Six, as long as MC wants, Mammon would try to fulfill their wish.
I believe that the more Mammon loves MC, the more fortunate MC is. OUR ADORABLE SHEEP would use their fortune to treat the brothers and their other friends. But if they only use the fortune to treat Mammon, they'd get more.
Mammon is a clingy demon, that's right MC. Mammon wouldn't admit that, but all his crow familiars would watch over you in three realms. The crows recognize you as Mammon's most precious. This means all crows have the obligation to protect you and chase the thieves away.
Remember those rumors you heard from the other students? Some demons were attacked by a flock of crows? If you ask who are the victims, you might feel strange. Cause the crows attacked those demons who made you upset before.
And do you still remember those demons' names who confessed to you? Have you noticed they would followed by a few crows after that even though you rejected them? If not, let me ask you a simple question, MC. Did you ever meet any of your suitors again?
Lucifer scolded Mammon for that event, but the Avatar of Greed just shrugged. The two oldest brothers kept this secret only between themselves, and Lucifer didn't punish Mammon for this event.
He loves teasing, especially to those newbies. He had spun you so many stories to cover the true intentions that he needs your money.
He knows you are rarely mad at him, but NB! Mammon doesn't know that you adopted Luke as your litter brother or son technically. As a result, you're furious when you know he spins a tale to Luke that you're a bad demon who loves eating children.
Let's say that NB! Mammon is frozen when he hears you gritted his name like when Lucifer is angry.
"Maaaaammmmmon....!"
The brothers are terrified and admire your angry sheep form, they watch in awe and ekk when you use the "STAY! BAD DOG!" AT LEAST THREE TIMES on Mammon, Mammon has to lie on the ground for an hour.
Since that day, the whole Devildom knows that the sweet attendant of the 7 rulers of the Underworld is ONE OF THE MOST CAN'T BE BOTHERED.
Tumblr media
I always thought that MC would warm up to Solomon slowly, they love Solomon, but the feeling of the distance can't get rid of somehow.
Until MC was dragged to the NB timeline and Solomon is the one who came through the time for them. Solomon might not see that but I believe that MC is SOOOOO TOUCHED by this.
A man came to you even though he has to jump through the time? How romantic (*/ω\*)
Living together means a lot to humans, Solomon finally got his key to be closer to MC. They share the domestic chores, greeting at least twice and MC would nap on the sofa while Solomon reading.
Solomon knows that the brothers and the royals spoiled MC with high-quality gifts. Clothes, make-up products... you name it.
But Solomon also knows that MC has a sweet tooth that they can't refuse a dessert. That's why he loves to queue up for popular desserts. The time of getting in a long line is worth it if that means he would see MC's eyes light up and their adorable smile.
Solomon may be the mischievous and mysterious sorcerer he is, and he could be a strict teacher involved in magic. But he actually is soft and makes MC feel safe.
The unspoken feelings of being related as a human and the living proof that MC belongs to the original timeline build a bridge, which leads MC to show more emotions around Solomon. That's why MC would use cold words when they were teleported by the bubbles or angry with Solomon for being too late to start their movie night. And the ways the fantastic three roasted Solomon is funny hehe.
MC feels equal to Solomon, though they can't be sure whether it's because of how Solomon is or it's the result of Solomon always wanting to make humans equal to the other two realms.
But MC can tell him what's on their mind. They know that Solomon would hear it and find a way to get the best of both worlds.
MC cuddles with Solomon before they bid good night. And sometimes they'd just fall asleep.
Solomon never woke them up, he used his coat to cover them so that they wouldn't catch a cold.
After Solomon finished his papers or study, he would teleport himself and MC to his room and snuggle with them before leaving a forehead kiss.

i do find it horrifying how you can see the pipeline his fans went down in defending his actions, and how his early scandals had a degree of plausible deniability that led people to take to defending him, yknow? and as that deniability went away as his actions became significantly worse over time, his fans already had like. a mousetrap mindset. where the second they were prodded they immediately snapped without question. and so they defend him because that's what they've always done and they don't really see what's in the mousetrap because a spring and a pressure plate don't care if it's not a mouse. their job is just to kill it. they don't bother looking at what the actual problem is because all they think to do is defend their streamer no matter what

just him bottling up his feelings, too nervous around y/n who's oh so aware of his crush on her and teases him for months, trying to break him. slight touches, skin brushing, getting something out of his hair, or small remarks to make him blush. until he finally he finally confesses his crush on y/n to none other than her bestfriend tara at a party, half-drunk. except y/n isn't too far and heard everything, he becomes a stuttering mess, all red. y/n gives him, interrupting him with a kiss she's been waiting for for so long.

‘’Ew, why must it taste so gross,’’ Ethan complained with a grimace after downing another shot.
Chad shrugged, not phased by the taste. ‘’Let’s find you a girl.’’ He scanned the crowded room of partying college students, looking for one he guessed was Ethan’s type. ‘’What about her?’’
Ethan glanced at the brunette Chad was talking about. She had a perfect pink pout and glasses that looked really cute on her, but the necklace against her collarbones said she was part of a sorority and those girls were out of Ethan’s league.
‘’She’s gorgeous,’’ he said honestly. ‘’But—’’
‘’Ask her out. Ask her out,’’ Chad insisted, bouncing on his feet and determined to get his roommate a girl before the end of the night.
Ethan shook his head. He knew she would reject him — girls always did.
‘’Shut up!’’
‘’I’m gonna get us more shots.’’ Chad took the two empty glasses and went to the kitchen to re-fill them with vodka.
The night went on. More shots were taken and at some point, Chad ditched his roommate to makeout with a girl with pink hair. He didn’t like her, but her appearance reminded him of his ex and that was the kind of comfort he wanted tonight.
Ethan wandered around the frat house, looking for a familiar face among all these strangers.
‘’Tara, hey,’’ he said, a giggle threatening to bubble from his more-than-tipsy-but-not-yet-drunk mouth.
‘’Hey, Ethan.’’
‘’Is your friend here?’’
‘’You’re gonna have to be more specific,’’ the petite brunette replied, then took a sip of her drink.
Your name fell from his mouth and Tara held a smile.
Ethan’s crush on you was so obvious that even a blind person would notice. Aside from the flushed cheeks whenever your skin would brush him or the baffling for words when you made a remark about how you suspected Ethan was hiding a nice body underneath those polos. His demeanor changed around you. He turned from very talkative and energetic to very nervous.
‘’I saw her talking with Mindy and Anika a few minutes ago, but I don’t know where she is now...’’
Disappointment washed over Ethan’s face. ‘’I’m never gonna be able to talk to her,’’ he sighed, the alcohol in his blood intensifying his emotions.
Tara grabbed his arm and gave him a sweet smile. ‘’She’s around somewhere. I’m sure you’ll run into her.’’
‘’But every time I try to talk to her I get tongue tied. I’m not like Chad.’’
‘’Chad?’’
Ethan continued. ‘’I’m not confident and hot like him. I can’t just go up to her and tell her she’s the most gorgeous girl I’ve ever seen and that I want to kiss her so bad I dream of it at night. God, I sound like a creep…but I swear I’m not! I just really really like her—’’ A hand tapped his shoulder and Ethan turned around, his eyes growing like saucers when he saw you. ‘’H-hi.’’
Instead of greeting him back, you grabbed the back of his neck and connected your lips into a kiss, making Tara gasp at your boldness.
Ethan was stunned for a few seconds, his brain short-circuiting from the touch of your cherry flavored lips, but he snapped out of his surprise and kissed you back…only for you to break the kiss.
‘’Next time you want to ask me something, do it. You might be surprised by the answer.’’

All Too Well
Sam Carpenter x Fem!Reader
One-Shot
Summary: You develop a big crush on your friend's older sister, Sam. Will you get your fairytale ending? Or will it blow up in your face?
Warning(s): ANGST, swearing, age gap (not specified age gap but R's legal), a little fluff if you squint, insecure Sammy :(
Notes: I re-wrote this soooo many times but I FINALLY got it done. I listened to All Too Well (taylor's version ofc duh) on repeat while writing this and I'm still not sick of it. Also, quick shoutout to @celiastjamesoscar for being an inspiration with her wonderful Sam fics!
Tumblr media
You met her younger sister, Tara, at a party and ended up spending the rest of the night talking about horror movies. After that you two became friends and she started inviting you over to her place to hangout.
When you first saw Sam you could feel your heartbeat pick up in your chest as you gave her a warm smile. You didn’t even mind the blatant glare she gave you. She didn’t say anything to you, only walking to her room. But even if she did you’re convinced you wouldn’t have heard because of how distracted by her beauty you were. Sam had you entranced from the moment you saw her and you weren’t sure if you would ever snap out of it.
The more you came over, the more you would see of Sam. One night you, Tara, Mindy and Anika decided to have a movie night followed along with a sleep over. You weren’t opposed to the idea; agreeing instantly. You would get to hang out with your friends and possibly see more of your dream woman even if it was only for a few moments.
“What are you wearing?” Tara asked with a chuckle. She had opened the front door to find you in Batman pajamas. “Um, ever seen Batman pajamas? Don’t hate on the drip Tara,” you responded while carrying the snacks you brought under your arm.
She playfully rolled her eyes as you both walked inside. “I’m not hating, it looks good.” Tara said before closing the door and sitting on the couch. You placed the snacks down on the coffee table, Mindy and Anika were cuddled up on the loveseat nearby. “Sweet pajamas, Y/N,” Mindy complimented and Anika agreed. You thanked them before sitting down on the couch.
The four of you spent the rest of the night watching a mixture of horror and action movies. Laughter, gasps and the occasionals screams could be heard from the apartment. By the time it was one, you were the only one up. You slowly got up, as to not wake up Tara who fell asleep with her legs over your lap, and walked over to the bathroom. You emptied your bladder and washed your hands before leaving. But as soon as you left the bathroom you were met with a familiar face. A familiar pretty face.
“Hi,” you said nervously. You wondered if Sam could tell you heart was racing. “Hi.” Sam responded back dryly before looking you up and down. “Nice…Batman pajamas,” she commented.
You felt heat rush to your cheeks. You looked down at what you were wearing before looking back up at Sam. “Yeah, it’s um Batman. Which you…obviously know.” You silently gulped at how stupid you acted in front of her.
She awkwardly nodded at you and looked you up and down one more time before walking away to her bedroom. As soon as you heard her bedroom door shut you scolded yourself. “Stupid!” You shouted in a whisper, hitting your forehead with the bottom of your palm.
The next time you saw Sam, you found her in a more vulnerable state. You had been avoiding her after your interaction at the sleepover. Every time you saw her the memory replayed and the embarrassment you felt only sunk deeper. You were worried you would make yourself look even more ridiculous in front of her so you made the decision to avoid talking to her unless absolutely necessary.
Lil Guy (5:53 pm) can you come over?
Simp (5:54 pm) uhhh can’t tn
Lil Guy (5:54 pm) why?? 🤨
Simp (5:55 pm) school stuff yk
Lil Guy (5:55 pm) cut the bullshit. this is obviously about Sam
Simp (5:56 pm) what does she gotta do with this?
Lil Guy (5:56 pm) you know exactly what. I unfortunately had to wake up during your
awkward ass interaction with her. heard everything
Simp (5: 57 pm) if I come over will you stop talking about this?
Lil Guy (5:57 pm) no promises. see you soooon
Simp (5:58 pm) yeah yeah cya
You sighed and got up to put on your shoes. Of course Tara would find out about your big crush on her sister eventually.
You were walking past Sam’s room but stopped in your tracks when you heard sniffling from behind the door. You lightly knocked on her door saying, “Sam?” In the gentlest voice you could muster. Shuffling could be heard behind the door before it opened.
“What?” She asked in an annoyed tone. Her eyes were bloodshot, as if she had been crying for hours. “It’s just that I thought I heard somebody crying and I wanted to make sure you were okay.” It pained you to see her like this and you swore to do everything in your power to make everything better.
“Yeah, I’m fine. Just–” she sighed, “go back to whatever it was you were doing.” You nodded but stopped her as she was closing the door. “But one more thing. If you need to, like, talk about anything or get some stuff off your chest I’m here, okay?”
 She looked at you almost skeptically. Surely you didn’t mean that. Nobody actually means that. But when Sam looked at you, all she saw was a genuine person offering an ear. She could feel her heart warm at the thought.
That scared the shit out of her.
“Thanks, Y/N,” Sam thanked you. No glare. No attitude. She meant it. You gave her a warm smile, one she’s noticed she started to look forward to seeing, before telling her it was no problem and walking back to Tara’s room.
Ever since that night you and Sam have been secretly hanging out more and more. It was nothing romantic but she did enjoy talking to you. So, whenever you got the chance to sneak over to her room you would take it. There would be some nights you and Sam stayed up for hours just talking and you wouldn’t trade it for the world. Sam was falling while you had already fallen.
One night, you and Tara spent the night watching Gilmore Girls while you drew in your sketchbook. As you continued to draw you suddenly heard the locks starting to turn on the front door. Before you had time to react, the door opened and Sam walked through it. She was about to say ‘Hi’ to Tara before she saw you and instead let out an, “Oh.” She furrowed her eyebrows before looking you up and down. Once again, your heart was racing and you could feel butterflies in your stomach. Just looking at her always had you weak in the knees.
“What are you doing here?” She asked. Sam still chose to act slightly cold toward you around people as not to draw suspicion but she assured you it was just for show. The fact that she wanted to assure you about that, made you give her a lovestruck smile while she told you.
Tara rolled her eyes at her sister’s attitude and answered for you. “I invited her here, we’ve just been watching TV. Wanna join?” She asked and Sam looked over to the television before nodding.
You were sandwiched between the two sisters; your sketchbook long forgotten and you blushing madly from the amount of contact you were holding with Sam. Fifteen minutes go by and Tara reaches over to the bowl for some popcorn, only to find it empty. “I’m gonna go get a refill,” she tells you and Sam before grabbing the bowl and going to the kitchen.
You and Sam were now left alone, sitting on the couch. Her left hand was so close to your right that you would barely have to move in order to hold it. As if Sam felt your hesitancy, she brushed her pink against yours without looking at you. It sent a jolt of electricity through the both of you. Your eyes moved down to your pinkies before you turned them back to the television.
In a moment of confidence, you decide to lock your pinky with hers. You expected her to pull away, shove you off, or even tell you to fuck off but she did neither of those things. Unexpectedly, she kept it there. That was until Tara came back. When the younger Carpenter came back you both pulled away; both sparing a glance while the other wasn’t looking.
Later that night, you were getting ready to leave until suddenly you were pulled into Sam’s room. When Sam fully pulled you into her room, she shut the door and time stopped around you as you felt her soft lips on yours.
By the time you two pulled away, your hands were gently gripping her hips and she had a hand softly holding onto the back of your neck while you were pinned to the door. “What took you so long?” You finally asked with a lovestruck smile. Sam couldn’t help but reciprocate that smile.
Your relationship with Sam was often complicated. Her mixed singles were not always easy to identify but you pushed through for her.
You and Sam have been dating for seven months now. It was the same routine every time; Tara would invite you over, you would hang out with her for a bit until Sam chose she wanted you around and signaled for you to follow her when nobody else was looking.
For the first few months the sneaking around was fun and all but recently you have found yourself wanting more. But every time these thoughts crossed your mind you chose to shove them down. You didn’t want to ruin what you had with Sam. You were with her and that’s all that mattered.
When Sam invited you over for Christmas you did not hesitate to agree. You felt like your relationship was growing, and this would be one step closer until you could be more than just her little secret.
You walked through the door with Sam, the air was cold but something about it felt like home somehow. You placed your scarf down on the hanger, along with your coat and hat. Tara and the others came to greet you and Sam before the questions ensued.
“I didn’t realize you two were coming together,” Tara remarked. You and Sam gave each other discreet glances at each other before Sam opened her mouth to reply.
“Her car isn’t working right, so I offered her a ride.” They all nodded to this before moving on. It was not long before board games were being played and hot coco was being sipped. The setting was warm and comforting, and when you felt Sam’s hand grab a hold of yours under the table it only got warmer.
Tara rushed back from one of the rooms with a scrapbook in her hand as she wore a giddy smile. “Guess what I got,” she said while holding it up. Sam mentally groaned as you shot up and made your way to Tara. “Is that–”
“Yup.”
“Well what are we doing just standing here? Let’s go see what little Sammy looked like.” You and Tara ran to her room. Sam got up and rushed over to you both; not wanting her girlfriend seeing any of her awkward phases.
By the time she got there, it was too late. Tara was already showing you pictures of younger Sam, braces and all. Sam let out a sigh as she saw you look down at the pictures. You look up at her with an opened mouth smile. “Sammy! Well aren’t you just adorable,” you tell your blushing girlfriend.
She walked over and sat down beside you. “You just had to pick when I had braces, Tar?” She asked her sister. Tara gave her a smirk before flipping through the pages.
“Don’t worry, I’ve got more,” Tara responded and flipped to a page that had pictures of when Sam was just a toddler. You let out another dramatic gasp when you see them.
“Absolutely adorable!” You exclaimed. Sam bit back a smirk as she rolled her eyes. “Okay, okay. I think that’s enough for tonight. We’re about to put on Die Hard; you coming?” She asked you and the younger Carpenter.
“Yeah just a second,” Tara told her before Sam left the room. “Okay. Seriously, when were you gonna tell me about you and my sister?” She suddenly asked, catching you off guard.
Your eyes widened at the accusation. “What– what do you mean?” You stammered. Tara sighed, closing the scrapbook and placing it on her nightstand. “It’s obvious something’s going on. Not to mention you disappearing whenever we hang out and Sam wearing a brand new hickey everytime you re-emerge. Seriously, you guys do a shit job at hiding it.”
You sighed and contemplated your next words. “You can’t tell anyone though, okay?” Tara looked at you and could tell you were being serious. She holds up her pinky to you before responding, “I won’t tell a soul.” You give her a small smile before hooking your pinky with hers.
By the time you and her leave, the movie’s already playing and you plop down beside Chad, and Tara joining you on your right side. You felt your eyelids growing heavy and eventually fell asleep on Chad’s shoulder, which he didn’t mind. By the time you woke up, a fresh set of snacks were put out and a new movie was on in the background as everyone spoke.
“Oh good, Y/N you’re up just in time for truth or dare,” you heard Mindy say. “What is this, fifth grade?” You joked before joining them on the ground. Tara sent you a smirk when she saw you immediately go to Sam’s side.
“Okay, we were just about to ask Sam if she’s still with cute boy,” Quinn said and felt yourself grow a little small.
“Cute boy?” You echoed and Quinn nodded before continuing her interrogation.
“So, how about it Sam?” Sam felt your eyes on her; only sparing you a single glance before answering.
“No, we broke up awhile ago actually,” she answered and everybody else moved on except for you. As they continued to play truth or dare you silently thought to yourself. Who was ‘cute boy?’ And why did it seem their relationship was far more public than their own.
It wasn’t until you heard your name get called when you snapped out of your spiral. “Y/N, truth or dare?” You heard Chad ask you. You thought for a moment before answering him. “Truth.”
“Well, I gotta know Y/N…are you and Sam dating?” The room went silent, at least for you it did. You knew Tara would never give your secret out like that. Especially when you literally pinky swore on it. You just did not realize the group would catch on so quickly.
“Uh–” before you could think of a lie or some lame excuse, you were quickly cut off by Sam. “No no, we’re not dating. I mean come on guys. Could you imagine us together? That’s ridiculous,” she said defensively as you felt your heart ache.
“You didn’t have to say it like that,” you muttered. “Wait– Y/N I didn’t mean–” Sam started but this time you were the one who cut her off. “I know what you meant.”
You quickly excused yourself and went to the bathroom, locking yourself inside. You felt like a complete idiot as you silently cried. The voices in your head continued to say the same things, You are not the exception. You will never learn your lesson.
You were growing tired of putting in ninety nine percent of the effort in your relationships. It hadn’t been the first time you were in this position. Most of your past relationships were you being the only one who cared enough to put in the effort.
As these memories flooded back to you, you felt naïve for letting it happen again. You scolded yourself for it. To make matters worse, you had just embarrassed yourself in front of everybody and probably ruined everything you had with Sam.
You suddenly heard three soft knocks on the door. “Who is it?” You sniffled. When you heard it was Sam you instantly debated whether or not you should open the door. Sam patiently waited on the other side until you opened the door.
Her heart ached for you as she saw your tear stained face. She had done this to you. She had caused you pain. “Hey,” Sam said in a small voice. “Hey,” you echoed back with a cracking voice.
“Can we talk?” She asked you. All you did was nod before she led you to her bedroom. She deeply inhaled as she tried to muster up what she was about to say.
“Listen, Y/N I’m sorry I never told you about Danny.” You furrowed your eyebrows at her before responding.
 “Sam, it’s not about that. Of course you’re going to have past relationships. I just don’t understand why I have to be a secret while he obviously got to be pretty public. I just– I just don’t know what I did wrong,” You told her honestly.
“What? No, you did nothing wrong okay? It’s just…easier this way,” Sam said and you felt yourself growing more irritated by her vagueness.
“How? How is this easier? Cause’ it feels a hell of a lot harder to me. Especially when my own girlfriend seems so disgusted by the thought of dating me.”
You were sitting on the edge of the bathtub, Sam kneeled in front of you and took your hands in hers. “I wasn’t disgusted. It was all an act. You know that mi amor.” Her right hand moved up to cup your cheek, her thumb wiping away a tear.
“Do I?” You challenged. Sam looked up at you with her big brown eyes before answering. “You’re my world. Nothing could ever change that,” she reassured you.
You took a moment to think to yourself. You felt Sam’s thumb brush against your bottom lip, causing you to look down at her.
“I promise I’ll make it up to you,” she told you. You sighed in defeat; you knew Sam had gotten away with something once again. You loved Sam deeply but there were times you doubted she felt the same. The thought brought you pain, both physically and emotionally. But for now you would just lay in her arms and try to forget about the world around you and your problem along with it.
Christmas and New years came and went faster than you thought it would. You had enjoyed your time at the Carpenter–Bailey residence despite what had gone down your first night, but you and Sam were good now. At least, that’s what you kept telling yourself.
Sam and you hit the road at around nine in the morning. You lived half an hour away from them so the ride wouldn’t be long but it wouldn’t be short either. Cruel Summer was playing while Sam drove. Luckily you had a girlfriend who didn’t mind you picking the songs.
“I love the ‘Fuck The Patriachry’ keychain, Tara got you,” you said as you examined said keychain. Sam chuckled a little before looking at you.
“Yeah, but it’s nothing compared to that skirt she got you,” she said with a smirk while eyeing you. You couldn’t help but blush at your girlfriend’s attempt at flirting with you.
You looked ahead to see the light turning red. “Red, Sam–”
“Shit!” Sam slammed her foot on the break before looking back at you. “Maybe you should pay more attention to the road instead of eye fu–”
Sam cut you off, “Yeah yeah, whatever.” She playfully rolled her eyes before moving the car again once the light turned green.
It did not take long before you went back to your typical routine with Sam; you would come over, hang out with your friends for a bit before Sam pulled you into her room when nobody was looking. You felt stupid for letting the incident at Christmas almost ruin your relationship with Sam.
Any time now, she’s gonna say it’s love. You had not exactly said the four special words to Sam just yet; you were afraid of scaring her off. But there were little things that Sam did that showed she felt the same toward you even if she was not the best at displaying her feelings.
You truly believed she loved you back and tonight would be the night you told her you loved her. If only you knew what would transpire.
Sam held you close to her chest as her chin rested on top of your head. “Sam..” You softly said as you played with the hem of her shirt. She hummed before you continued. “I…I wanna tell you something.” Sam started sitting up while you sat up with her. You lifted yourself up by your arms and looked at her.
You now had her full attention and you were not going to waste it. “I love you, Sammy.” Sam’s breath immediately caught in her throat. “You…what?” She asked, although she heard you just fine.
“I love you,” you repeated, growing nervous.
“Oh..” Was all she said before getting up. You watched her movements as she walked over to gather her things.
“Oh?” You repeated nervously. “Yeah um, hey I’ve been thinking,” she started as you sat there on your bed.  “This isn’t really working. I think we should stop–” she gestured to you and her, “–this.”
All you could do was sit there as you tried to process the woman you loved deeply, shattering your heart as if it were glass. “Sam, what the hell are you talking about?” Your voice was soft yet demanding. You wanted answers.
“We can’t see each other anymore, Y/N.” Sam’s voice left no room for bargaining. When she saw you lightly flinch at her tone she had to resist reaching out to comfort you.
“I’m sorry,” she breathed. “I just think it’s better for both of us.” Bullshit, you thought.
“Tell me a reason. You at least owe me that.” You ignored the tear that fell from your eye as you spoke.
“You deserve more than me…”
Sam spent a lot of her days thinking about you. From the moment you walked into the apartment she had her eye on you. Kissing you for the first time was both her best and worst decision she had ever made. None of this was your fault. She knew what she was getting herself into that night she chose to press her lips onto yours. Risks would ensue and she was aware of that.
Sam felt like a fool for thinking she could have something to herself; something that has not touched the darkness from her past. But that’s just it; you were too good for her. She didn’t feel like she deserved you in any way shape or form. You were too good for her and this world.
That’s why breaking up with you hurts even more. Sam knew in the process of protecting you, she would have to break your heart.
“Sam, please don’t do this.” You were more than familiar with the older woman’s habit to overthink and get lost in her head.
“Please, just let yourself be happy for once,” you practically pleaded as you got up.
Sam averted her stare and swallowed a lump in her throat as she lightly shook her head. “You know I can’t…”
Samantha Carpenter would never allow herself to be happy. The realization of this set in as you look at her. “That’s disappointing,” you choked out.
“So, what was the point of all this?” The question had been on the tip of your tongue. Sam looks over to you with furrowed eyebrows before you elaborate. “Us. Was I just a hookup to you?” Sam hated that she made you question what you meant to her.
“Y/N…you will always be more than just a hookup. But we both knew how this was going to end,” Sam answered. If you bit your cheek any harder you could draw blood.
“No, actually. I didn’t. But I guess–” you let out a dry chuckle, “–you did Samantha. From the start, right? That, one of these nights you were gonna call me up again just to break me like a promise? Fuck I’m so stupid,” you mumbled the last part.
“Y/N that’s not what I meant–” She reached over to you but you pulled back as if she had burned you; in a way she did. She had just confessed to leading you on during your entire relationship with her. Sam never called it what it was.
“I know what you meant…” Memories of the incident at Christmas flicker in your mind when you say this.
“I’m sorry,” Sam mutters as she reaches for the door knob but not before giving you one last glance.
“Goodbye Y/N.”
“Goodbye Sam.”
Later that night, Sam was in her room holding your scarf closely as she cried more than she had ever cried before.
The memories of you flooded her mind, the moments you both shared before she lost the one real thing she’s ever known.
As soon as she left you broke down; letting everything you were holding in, out. Maybe you both got lost in translation, maybe you asked for too much. But maybe this thing was a masterpiece til’ she tore it all up. You would forever remember this day all too well.

THIS IS A REUPLOAD!!! my blog got deleted so I have to re-upload all my fics :( but nonetheless enjoy!!
HIGH SCHOOL JUNIOR YEAR 2005 ;
Ethan has had his eye on you for a while.
Since junior year of high school when you asked him for the algebra notes, he's been completely infatuated with you. He had daydreamed about you and everything he would do for you once you became his.
He was so sure you two would tie the knot soon that he started to plan your future together. He dreamed about having a big house with two cats, a good-paying job so he can spoil you, maybe even kids. But he couldn't have any of that if he hadn't talked to you yet.
he decided to take matters into his own hands, He was going to talk to you. He thought of all the different ways he would approach you But every time he tried, Once he got close enough to you, he would always back down because of how nervous you made him.
Ethan felt as if you were getting farther from him Until one day when you asked for the notes again…
"I- uhm, can tutor you if you want." Ethan blurts out
"tutor me? You think I'm stupid?" you said in that sickly sweet voice of yours which, at that moment, didn't feel all too sweet.
"NO!, oh God uhm-no that's not what I meant. I'm so sorry I didn't mean it like that, It's just uh we have a test soon so I didn't know if-" Ethan started to ramble. He had fantasized about you for too long to let you slip away. He wasn't going to let it happen.
"I'm just fucking with you, here's my number." you laugh as you tear a piece of paper from your notebook and grab Ethan's pen from his hand.
Ethan was sure he was seeing hearts around his vision. Ethan had made YOU laugh, Ethan's heart was pumping out of his chest. As you handed him the paper, smiled, and thanked him he had to force himself not to kiss you right then and there.
Every tutor session ended with you two just talking and getting to know each other. Ethan studied you. he memorized what you liked, didn't like, your favorite foods, the shows you liked, everything you told him he would remember.
As you two became closer, Ethan became more and more devoted to you. You two went shopping? He’d carry your bags. Out for food? He’d pay. Simply walking towards a door? He’d hold the door open for you. You had started to consider Ethan a best friend and that made Ethan's stomach hurt with excitement.
When you introduced Ethan to the group, of course, Chad took a quick liking in him, So much so they're now roommates at Blackmore. Ethan would be lying if he said he wasn't jealous of Chad at first. How close you guys were, how comfortable, How much trust you put in him, Everybody loved Chad and his personality, Chad had a higher chance of being with you than Him Ethan thought, and something about that made Ethan's jaw clench harder every time, But he would never admit this.
BLACKMORE UNIVERSITY, SOPHMORE YEAR 2008;
When you got that text from Ethan, Tara grabbed your pink flip phone and freaked out.
“Oh my god! y/n you HAVE to accept this!” Tara yelled as she grabbed your shoulders and shook you.
“Why this restaurant though? Why does he want to go that far out for food?” You said with too much obliviousness that it hurt everyone in the room.
“You have got to be kidding me.” Anika started “ He likes you! He's taking you to a fancy dinner to tell you, There's no other reason why he would want you to go that far out for a hamburger!”
“I don't think he does though, I think he likes that girl in our econ class” You said, The thought of that makes your heart hurt. You had liked ethan for awhile, He was so kind and attentive, If you asked him for help, He would be there in a heartbeat. He treated you with so much respect and gentleness you knew no one else could give you like he did.
“Jill? Are you kidding? You're so blind.” Tara says “Well he looks at her sometimes-” You start getting defensive.
“She sits in front of him Y/N. I promise you he doesn't like her, if he does he's an idiot!” Tara yells.
Anika agrees with a loud yeah!
“Whatever but I still don't think he likes me, we're just friends.” In your gut, you knew that was a lie but you kept telling yourself it wasn't.
“He has heart eyes every time he looks at you y/n. He's definitely in love with you.” Anika said, Tara laughs.
The whole afternoon Tara and Anika helped you get ready and pick out what to wear. You all decided on a y/f/c colored dress with some dark shoes. Tara straighten your hair and Anika did your nails and picked out your perfume.
“He's gonna be more in love with you than he already is!” Tara says, You laugh as Tara and Anika hug you.
Ethan was sitting in the booth of a fancy restaurant that was quite the drive from Blackmore. Chad had finally convinced Ethan to ask you out and when you agreed, Chad's plan was finally in motion. Ethan smelled like Chad's cologne and was dressed in expensive clothes Chad had brought him, a baby blue collared shirt with grey dress pants. Ethan's curls were somehow curlier and out of his face, he looked like a ‘million bucks’ according to Chad.
As you walk in you noticed a group of three sitting to the left of the entrance, All dressed in black, sunglasses, and their hair covering their faces, One of them looked like Anika, You almost laughed. What you didn't notice was Ethan's eyes going wide as he saw you walk in. How his blood started rushing and his heart was about to explode.
“Hey y/n!’ Ethan awkwardly gets up from his seat, He puts his hands on your waist to pull you into a hug.
“Hey Ethan.” you say as you lean into his touch, placing your arms around his neck. It was a short but an effective hug. You too, were now nervous.
As Ethan lets go, You exhale a breath you didn't know you were holding.
You sat across from Ethan and looked at the menu, but Ethan didn't. Ethan was looking at you. Admiring you. How focused you were, how your eyebrows moved up a bit if you saw something that looked good, how you played with your silver ring, taking it off and putting it back on your finger.
“ I think I want to try this, Ethan are you looking?” you ask as you move the menu to show Ethan, “ Are you okay?” You noticed Ethan was just staring down.
“I uhm, need to tell you something.” Ethan says softly. Was he really about to do this?
“Oh okay” Ethan saw you fidget with your ring again, He knew you were just as nervous as he was.
Ethan looked down at his hand to remember what to say- oh crap, Ethan's black ink was smudged from washing his hands. Ethan cursed himself in his head for being so dumb. Ethan breathed in deeply, trying not to panic. What was he supposed to say now?
Ethan picked up his head but avoided making eye contact with you, But you on the other hand were looking right into his hazel eyes that still somehow shined even in the dimed lights.
“I don't know if this is weird because we're friends and I don't want to make you uncomfortable,” Ethan starts, He knew this wasn't the best way to start but he didn't know what else to say. “If you don't feel the same that's okay, And if you don't want to be friends after this thats fine too-” Ethan is stalling.
“Ethan what are you saying?” You knew what was coming but you wanted to hear him say it.
“Its nothing bad! I just uhm, like you.” Ethan mumbles while scratching his face.
“What?” You heard him, You just wanted him to say it again.
“ I like you y/n, I've liked you for so long it's making me crazy.” Ethan's mouth begins to move faster than his brain. “ I've loved you ever since I've known you and- and I've tried to show you, The best days of my life revolve around you, it's always been you.” Ethan doesn't notice that you get up and start to walk to his side of the booth.
“ I’d do anything you want, I already do everything you want and I'm sorry if this is weird but your all I want-” You grab Ethan's hand from his lap as you sit next to him, Now he notices.
“Ethan how could i not like you? Youre like, the best person ive ever met.” You make sure he looks you in your eyes so he knows you really mean it.
“ You have so much kindness and patience and i admire that so much, You make me feel loved.” You say as you lean in to kiss him. Ethan was caught off guard but slowly he grabs your hips as you place your hand on the side of his arm. It was a long passionate kiss filled with years of yearning and love for each other.
As you began to pull away you see the same 3 weird people from the other table in front of you.
“Tara?!” It was Tara, Anika, and Chad dressed up, Anika Was recording.
“Is it official?” Tara asks with excitement. You and Ethan looked at each other before smiling and turning to the others and nodding.
Immediately Tara grabs you out of the booth and hugs you so tight you felt like you couldn't breathe, Anika also joining in. Chad and Ethan do their handshake they’ve practice for over a year, this time they perfected it.
“Dinner is on me!” Chad yells.
A/N; Thanks for reading I hope you enjoyed!
