The eagerly awaited news has finally arrived! Vettaiyan is the title of actor Rajinikanth's forthcoming film, helmed by TJ Gnanavel. On Tuesday, Lyca Productions celebrated the superstar's 73rd birthday by revealing the title and a teaser. The title was unveiled with a teaser on Tuesday on the occasion of the superstar’s 73rd birthday.

The celebrity is seen reading a book about independence warrior Subash Chandra Bose at the opening of the video. Unexpectedly, Anirudh Ravichander, the music composer, opens the teaser with a brand-new opening theme that plays over the well-known "Super Star Rajini" introduction card. Then, we witness Thalaivar declare, "When the hunt is on, the prey must fall," while brandishing a rifle and donning a magnetic clip-on sunglass.

New Update On Rajinikanth-Murugadoss Film!

Superstar Rajinikanth’s last film ‘Peta’ released in the Sankranthi season. Though Tamil version was a smash hit, Telugu version turned out to be a flop.  Now, Rajini is getting ready for his next film in the direction of star director AR Murugadoss.  It is known that Murugadoss’ last film was ‘Sarkar’ and it was a super hit at the box office. 

  The pre-production is going on in full swing for Rajini-Muruga film and there is an interesting update regarding the story of the movie.   Rajini said to be playing a powerful cop role in the film and the movie will be extensively shot in Mumbai as the story runs in the Mumbai backdrop.  Muruga reportedly penned a story of a sincere police officer who is after the evil elements in the government system.  

  As per the story, the majority of the shoot will be done in Mumbai.  The makers are planning to commence the shoot in the last week of this month. Kollywood music sensation Anirudh Ravichander is the music director for this film.  Heroines are yet to be locked for the movie.  Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh names are reportedly being considered for the leading lady role.
