I'm going to try to explain this as coherently as I can. I want Jungkook to do his thing, but at the same time, it is bothering me so much that his thing seems to be basic, crass songs about sex. Like, brother in Christ, there is a nuanced, fun, genuinely sexy way to do explicit songs that doesn't read thoughtless, fuckboi nonsense. Hello, "My Time," get off the floor, my love?! I hated Seven, but 3D is making me feel like I was harsh on her. At least Latto has flow and brings energy. WHY, for the love of all things holy, did anyone green light Jack Harlow rapping about AGB????!!!! I was LIVID because have we not had enough of white men fetishizing Asian women. And there weren't even any Asian women in the MV!!! And then the optics of the women being lined up beside him one by one. WHO OKAYED THIS???? The members as a group and in their solo work have dabbled with explicit lyrics, sex, etc. But it has never felt like this "fuck it to hell, I wanna be famous and I'll do it in the easiest way possible, lemme talk about champagne confetti." Are you serious??? This man gave us "Still With You." And I do hold Jungkook responsible for a fair amount of it. He's 26 and obviously gets final say on the final product. I get that he wants to be seen as a grown up, but all I'm seeing is the equivalent of the Nickelodeon/ Disney kids going ham to break the image. This ain't it, okay? And if the rumours I'm hearing about his EP are true, it's going to be a hard pass for me. I have never recoiled from a song that came from BTS or a member the way I have with Jungkook's singles so far. I'm aghast at his potential (which he has showcased so much in past) being squandered on this run-of-mill, brainless, nonsense. Sure, he'll get the numbers, it's going straight to radio and this fandom is bleeting in unison like sheep possessed. But he's lost a lot of my respect for him.

you expressed yourself well and I can sympathise with your negative feelings and where they’re coming from… I honestly am just as shocked about harlow’s rap being greenlit both from the team behind but also from jungkook himself. it makes me wonder once again how much he was actually involved in everything simply because I hate the thought of him being aware of the lyrics and letting them through on the nod… you can very much make a light, fun, sexy song without putting problematic phrases and innuendos in it. again, it all comes back to nuance in pretty much all aspects of this whole song discussion. wanting to be seen as mature/ as a grown-up also means taking responsibility for everything that’s put out in your name (with your consent ofc). we could probably talk about this for hours on end though and unfortunately it doesn’t change much cause as you said at the end, there’re enough people who simply do not care about all of this, blindly support their fave artist and want to vibe. I saw that 3D (edit: the version with JH) is currently number three on spotify global right after Seven, so yeah. numbers equal success, success means the support and demand is there, and so the chances are high that he will keep going in this direction, I’m afraid. but let’s wait for his album, he’s been full of surprises, maybe he’ll surprise once more, and this time in a more positive way, again

I just finished the episode... I cried like a baby during the whole thing 😔 what a beautiful conversation between Yoongi and El Capitxn. Can we talk about how beautiful he is? His hair ir gorgeous and I absolutely loved his clothes, he looked like a vampire (and he said that he's a night person) ❤️ the way he talked about his story and their relationship... It was so moving

And Yoongi looked so so cute :( I loved every single episode of suchwita and it was the best thing ever to see how relaxed he is when he's talking to others, how good he is at it, and seeing how many good friends he has around him... I miss him, Yoongi is such an amazing human being, he has always been, even when he was going through the hardest times of his life... He is an inspiration

oh baby me too 🥲🫂 I enjoyed this episode so much as well, I had been very much looking forward to it ever since the final d-day concerts. their dynamic has intrigued me so much since then, and getting to know more about their relationship was extremely interesting. I was shocked to hear about yijeong’s story and got so emotional after hearing how yoongi has played a part in him finding a new path for himself. it showed once again how immensely kindhearted yoongi is, how caring and generous, how attentive, honest and emotionally intelligent. every suchwita episode made that so clear. I miss him an insane amount as well, yoongi’s someone I look up to so much and who gives me lots of mental strength, it’s hard to not have him here right now.

and I’m so relieved to see that he has people around him who value him just as much as he does them. the part where they talked about making Dear My Friend, yijeong sharing that he had asked yoongi if he’s gonna be okay alone during that time. I’m so glad he receives this kind of love 🤍

oh and I agree with what you said about yijeong’s looks and style! I nearly couldn’t recognise him in those older clips where his hair was short and he wore glasses 😭 he’s preeeeetty cool and I’m sure I’ll find myself following his work even more from now on. I still think about his hair beads look from day 2 (?) of the final shows, it looked sick

ohhh kayla kayla kayla, what a fantastic question. I needed some time to think and came to the following solution: very generally speaking, I love their hair longer in the front, shorter in the back, and with a side parting and/or their hair styled off their face 😌 that’s a good formula 😌 shdhhfh okay more specific now, SO

namjoon – mots persona platinum joon. it just made his skin glow even more than usual. generally I think he really rocks lighter hair colours, also his forehead was made to be exposed okay

seokjin – dark hair! I liked his wavy the astronaut mv and coldplay performance hair, it didn’t live long enough :(

hobi – black hair, kinda wet look, so good. but ofc also platinum hair hobi, no one will ever do it like him. and I also love when they take strands of his hair and style those (exposed forehead!!!), good stuff

yoongi – black hair and short in the nape of the neck!!!!!!! so that includes early yoongi, fake love yoongi, d-2 yoongi, dynamite & BE yoongi etc etc. and when his hair grew really long, I loved it too, but only really when it was properly styled (haegeum dance practice, snooze performance vid, valentino) and when it was wavy (first suchwita ep, nba game, his insta pics) … and let’s not talk about run bts dance practice…..

jimin - BLOOOOOOOOONDEEEEEE. period!!! (he looks really good with silver/grey hair too, though)

taehyung - curly black hair taehyung forever and always. BUT both dna grey hair tae and (honey) blonde taehyung will always get me weak in the knees as well (so you can imagine what I'm going through these days). actually as long as it's kind of wavy I'll eat it up

jungkook - 2019 jk (sys tour, muster, lotte concert) always!! and when he got a perm for dynamite promo it was SO flippin cute (and hot once they went for a wet look). and basically the same haircut, just with the hair being long everywhere. another member that'll always get me once his hair is wavy/curled/floofy actually
