what Was ii-critical anyways. all i know is that they apparently said bfb should be like ddlc or something along the lines of that.

ii-critical was a blog that me and my old friend mira (alongside a few others at one point) used to run. it was around the time that su critical was a popular tag and mira had shit to say about inanimate insanity, so they made the blog to share their criticisms of the show. i joined as a mod shortly after. keep in mind that i was 14, and mira was 13.

ii-critical also had an accompanying discord server which i think played a big part in the blogs infamy, mostly because it was HORRIBLY moderated (again, we were children.) we had nsfw channels that were open to everyone INCLUDING minors. i dont even think we were listing our ages in our bios for a while. it was a nightmare.

there was a lot of behind the scenes nonsense and infighting that resulted in me being kicked as a moderator and eventually the death of the blog. mira and i made amends about a year afterwards, so even if we don't talk anymore, we arent on bad terms. while we were both at fault for a lot of things, i feel like it's important to mention that skatercheese was an active user in the server and had a lot of involvement in it. them sticking their hands in drama between people who were just barely teenagers feels really disturbing in hindsight.

btw i was the guy who said that bfb should be like doki doki literature club. i'm really autistic about the concept of metafiction (welcome home is one of my current interests so that is very much still a thing) and my dumb ass decided to share that idea as a "this is what the show should be like" and not a "lol wouldnt it be cool if this happened". anyways given how hated post-split is i think my idea was still better and i was unappreciated in my time (/j)

tldr i helped run the most infamous object show blog on tumblr along with an even worse discord server. a lot of people got hurt because of how irresponsible i was, and i'm gonna have to live with that forever. i really hope everyone who got hurt because of my negligence is doing okay now, or at least better than they were back then. me and the other mods and server members can laugh about how awful it was now, but i always have to keep in mind that there was a lot of very real damage done to real people and it wasn't just a haha funny bad blog.

one more thing is that kint (yes that kint yes they were also in the server) drew this for the server, and i'm still holding onto it all these years later. i don't even know who most of the people pictured are anymore, but i'm never deleting it.

(that's me in the middle, i was mod gamzee. i had that 14 year old homestuck kinnie stink about me, just to add to the miserable vibes.)

the moral of the story is that you should never let young teens who watch way too much lily orchard run a discorse blog of any kind.

So why is there such a damn passion for Sayonika?

Are we going to ignore what Monika did to Sayori leading up to her in game death? Manipulating her files, likely verbal abuse, psychological torture, things most people would go to jail/be crucified online (rightly) for?

And then there's all the Monika love and the excuses for her... Yeah, she's lonely and yeah, she's in love but there are better ways to go about it than fucking torturing the Club VP and deleting the other two girls.

Should we forgive AM from IHNMAIMS because he was programmed to be hateful? Should we forgive Skynet for genociding humanity as a means of self-preservation?

No, no we shouldn't. In their respective fictions, they're the clear cut villains, so why do so many people make excuses for Monika?

She needs more of a punishment than just simple deletion. She seriously got off light and when I have enough experience, I might make a mod where's she receives a proper punishment for what she did.

Also, to those who are attacking MC because of what he does to Sayori, please note the following : 1) He does not know about Sayori's depression. At this point in time, it seems only Monika knows (I haven't been able to look at the Natsuki DDLC+ Side stories, so maybe she told Natsuki there (and also, can we not forget nor forgive what Monika did to Sayori despite knowing that she was going through a lot of bad stuff because she was wonewy?)). To MC, all of this happening is just Sayori being a ditz like he's always known her to be since they were children. 2) he's incredibly dense and not that smart (like some Teenage guys are, sadly enough). It's not him being rude, he just genuinely understand what's the matter. 3) any "rude" thing he says to Sayori is clearly in a teasing and playful manner, since that's what childhood friends do with one another. Sayori understands this and plays along with the teasing, because at the end of the day, she knows he doesn't really mean all the 'mean' things he says to her (the conversation leading up to fixing her Blazer is clearly the two having fun chatting it up like good friends. Same with the snack conversation).

4) The moment Sayori's mask begins to slip, being when he sees "Bottles", he immediately begins to put a stop to his teasing for the most part and shows a lot of concern for her. There's multiple points in Act I where he drops the teasing and playfulness and just interacts with Sayori like the friend she is to him, like the closet chat

5) When Sayori doesn't act like her usual happy, bubbly self (aka, her mask), he drops the teasing and immediately tries to help her, even getting Monika involved because he's never seen her like this before so he's trying to get as many possible to help.

6) As soon as he learns about her Depression, he drops all pretenses of teasing and making fun of her and makes it known how much he treasures her as a Friend.

7) with her confession, it's up to you to decide how to respond, but canonically, there could be two reasons why he'd say the bad option : 1) He genuinely doesn't love her that way but wants to let her down as gently as possible or 2) He actually does love her but doesn't say that because he thinks it's important for her to learn to love herself before any relationship. Either way, that answer will crush her, so it's a lose-lose, but can you say you would've done better in such a situation? I know I wouldn't have. I mean, for God's sake, MC's a teenage boy, not some all knowing, OP protagonist.

8) leaving Sayori behind on the day of the festival is a dick move, I agree, but look at it from his perspective. His oldest and dearest friend from childhood just told him she's depressed and in love with him the day prior all in the span of a few hours and depending on your answer, you two either have started dating or you crushed her unintentionally. In both cases, he doesn't know what to say to her, he's likely still processing everything that happened and trying to find a decent thing to do for her. Also, with it being stated Sayori did what she did before MC even woke up, it's made clear that even if he checked in on her, it would've been too late anyway.

9) The moment, the absolute moment he sees '%' and realizes Sayori had a breakdown, he drops everything and rushes to her place and tries to check on her. When he sees her body, he suffers a breakdown himself which I will detail here word for word, so TW : "...What the hell...? What the hell?! I-Is this a nightmare?! It...has to be. This isn't real. There's no way this can be real. Sayori wouldn't do this. Everything was normal up to a few days ago. That's why I can't believe what my eyes are showing me...! *Surpresses vomit* Just yesterday...I told Sayori I know what's best and everything will be ok. Then why...? Why would she do this...? How could I be so helpless? What did I do wrong? [Place choice statement here] this is my fault---! If I just spent more time with her. Walked her to school. And remained friends with her like it always has been...then I could've prevented this. I know I could've prevented this!"

"Screw the Literature Club. Screw the festival. I just...lost my best friend. Someone I grew up with. She's gone forever now. Nothing I can do will bring her back. This isn't a game where I can reset and try something different. I had only one chance and I wasn't careful enough. And now I'll carry this guilt with me until I die. '''Nothing in my life is worth more than her's'''...but I still couldn't do what she needed from me. And now...I can never take it back. Never."

This breakdown shows that the moment he saw what he did, his world collapsed. He's just a young teenager, do you honestly expect to know everything and handle this better and that you'd handle it better than him because if you say that than I know you're fucking bullshitting.

In conclusion, all the people hating MC for what he does to Sayori are either misunderstanding what he does, not paying enough attention, or just doesn't care and hates him to hate him. I can forgive the former two, but if you're the latter, then I guess there's no getting through to you. Have fun being spiteful to some teenage boy, hope you have a fun life.

Also, I might be a tad bit biased because I hardcore ship MCori but even with me being open to admit that, it doesn't discount my argument.

he’s picky about games he plays so he also has a set of certain games he’ll play

How to fix a “window”

Walking down the street I see a child playing with a ball, something unusual nowadays if you ask me, probably something they told him to do to far from the computer for a while?

*crash*

And the kid is in HUGE trouble, he just broke the glass window of what i presume it’s his house? (he was playing in front of it). The first thing I see is that the kid tries to run and hide behind a bush nearby. But that doesnt last long since you can clearly hear a deep voices calling his name... most likely his father. You see the kid get closer to the door and barely see the father. A big and imposing figure, with a ___ look in his eyes. Silence. The kid tries to explain but I only hear a mess of words that make no sense, without context. Then the father speaks.

“Fix the window by the end of the day”

That’s all he said, and the door closed slowly.

First the kid in a panic tried to grab the broken glass and fix it with tape... yeah that was a bad idea and those cuts will hurt for a while...

Then he tried to see if he could use plastic to cover the window... well not exactly plastic, but that thing one uses to keep your food fressh? Forgot the name. he used an entire package of it and the window still looked horrible and unfixed and... yeah it fell down.

He suddenly run into the house and then outside, he probably went to his room for money, he COULD buy a new one, but he didnt know the meassure or the size nor how much it would cost... and by the look on his face when he returned, with the money in his hand, he didnt even considered how much money it would cost.

He turned to me and ask me for some change. I told him “no” and he holding back tears yelled at me for being an unhelpful... I didnt understood the last word. 

He looked into the street, with the desperate look I’ve seen pitpocketers look long ago when suddenly the door opened again. Without notice it was late afternoon already. You could clearly see the first star in the night and the kid on his knees being a sobbing mess, probably waiting for the worst.

But then his father spoke.

“Why didnt you asked ME to help you?”

That sounds dumb the first time you listen to it... unless you have hindsight in this kind of stories. Cause early on, the look his father had... was of kindness. The description I gave of the father was not a LIE, but probably what the kid thought internally. In reality, he just looked like a normal guy, concerned if his son got injured, and since he wasn’t... he should learn a lesson in a diferent way. The father kept talking.

“The glass was my trust son. And you broke it, thankfully without Ill intention but you did anyway. There are many ways you could have tried to fix it, but if you ask me, the best of them all is TALKING between each other. I will take part of your allowance money for a week and you will have to help me water the plants for a whil-ARG”

The father covered his elbow. There was clearly a bit of blood in it. With just one look the kid understood and hug his father frantically asking for forgiveness. The father said “off course, as long as you understand what you mean to me, and why I trust you and love you in general” and together they walked back home.

A nice lesson ain’t it? But because I like to overthink let me ask you: what would have happened if “I” broke that window? Probably the dude would have demanded a retribution and not even give me the time once I paid for what I did... or maybe we could have talked rationally about it, I would have paid and we would have lugh at it later having some drink at the bar.

My point? A broken trust is not as easily fixed as just saying “sorry”, sometimes you have to work harder, hell sometimes you WON’T fix it because what you did was too harsh or the person involved is a person that doesnt trust easy (or is an asshole, both can happen). Also remember, a broken trust hurts everyone involved, maybe superfitialy or physicaly... but the worst case a broken trust can hurt you? Is if you dont do your best in trying to fix it! I know you might not be able to do it... but you’re always worth a try.

The next day I saw the kid and his father installing the window... wielding some metal bars in front of it to protect it... would that mean their trust got fortified or restricted due to the look of the bars? It is at this point the analogy gets completely lost and I keep on my walk towards another interesting look at the world.

(I’ve discovered that while I CAN try poetry, i prefer to write short stories, so I hope you dont mind a small longer read @ask-sayori-ddlc, looking forward to your next poem)

So... new writting strategy I guess? My friend @tsunderydander told me if i wanted to participate in his and Renn’s (the mod of ask-sayori-ddlc) regular word challenge for poetry, I first told him not because as i said, while i can try subpar poetry... i dont really like writting it? But he told me I could actually do it as a mini story... and welp, here we are... in fact helps since i need prompts to try to make stories so this will be fun (or interesting to say the least)

The idea for this story is... well this is awkward, based on Anna Nonn’s “poem” (AGAIN) about the broken vase, wanted to think of a more hopeful (but realistic) outcome, beyond the part of “everyone gets hurt and it sucks” (not dissing the poem, im just a hopeless optimist)

Althought while I write this... I once broke a window/trust of someone when I was in highschool... huh... maybe THAT is why it was pretty easy to write this xD

Doki Doki Marki’s Poetry?

Hello again and I’m back with more theories. Only today, there’s a shit ton more.

I’d like to start with Mark’s newest poems which he has released while playing Doki Doki Literature Club. Hang in there with me because this one’s a doozy. 

So I started off by seeing the poems and Mod Fe and I spent some time working to figure out who said each one. Obviously the first one was Warf since Mark confirmed he had an afro, and we all know from WKM that Warf was in love with Celine.  The second poem, however, was just a little bit more complicated to figure out. We started off immediately eliminating Damien since we know that Mark said Damien and Celine are NOT Dark and they are both pretty much gone. Then we thought ‘hey maybe this is Dark’ but Dark doesn’t want you to wake up, he wants you to go back to sleep. So then I remembered that there are two people we know for a fact that call Celine the Seer. The second poem is us. While we never speak, we spend a lot of time with the Detective and we know he calls her ‘the Seer’ based on his many notes that said ‘don’t trust the Seer’. 

The very last stanza of the second poem is where this gets tricky. ‘I need to wake up, I must find my way through, am I even myself or am I you?’. We know we need to wake up, and who’s been warning us to wake up? Mark. Nice Mark anyways, you can find more about this in Mod Fe’s update. But what if we are possibly Warf. 

This brings us to our theory where we assume that every time Chica is with us there’s a warped reality and she represents the embodiment of Warf. Warf is trying to keep us awake to protect us...but from who? Who else of course?

The detective. Well...the detective AND Darkiplier. 

After that phone call we heard at the end of WKM we know that the detective is alive and the man is fire and fury, ready to kill the Colonel/Warf. But let’s get real for a minute...Warf is an ego and you don’t just kill an ego. So what better way to get revenge on him than to team up with Dark. 

Something to think about is when we heard the ‘don’t you worry’ that was most definitely Warf...but I’m beginning to think the ‘I’ll get you’ part was the detective. Warf is telling us not to worry...but the detective is saying he’s going to come after Warf. 

Dark is telling us to go to sleep because we’re probably trying to protect the Colonel...and what better way to attack the Colonel then if we’re asleep and out of the way? Warf wants us to stay awake, he doesn’t want Dark to manipulate us to his side, he doesn’t want us to fall asleep. We are most vulnerable when we’re asleep, so maybe...even though ‘i haven’t done anything wrong’ if we’re out of the way Dark can over all turn around after we’re eliminated, stab the detective in the back, and take over Mark’s channel.

He may admire his work, but Dark wants to be in control, something we say in ADWM. Being in control is very important to him...but he can’t be fully in control when he has to compete with Warf. After all, we pretty much saw Dark and Warf as equals in Markiplier TV. 

I’ve always thought that Dark’s over all goal was to take over Mark’s channel...but I think that he’s willing to go to extremes to do it.

Remember this is just a theory and we might get more information if he uploads another poem with the next episode of DDLC. I’ve noticed a pattern...we got the Dark hints through the van vlogs...we got hints to us from both egos in the gaming videos like the FNAF POPGOES and BIG MOOD...but I think Warf is the one trying to really communicate to us through poetry.

This theory may change with the more information we get, but keep in mind, we also still have the secret blog that no one has gotten into yet...
