after two decades of trying, i have finally gotten my weird brain to work with a discworld novel ;u;
#the way i've had a whole long-distance love affair w gnu terry pratchett and discworld#like it formed so many of the people i love and so many of the works that formed -me-#but i have to be in the perfect headspace to read any given book#even when the book is one masterpiece in a broad pantheon of masterpieces#so like i have tried so many times and it's never stuck#BUT#tonight i was like#the time has come#and it HAS#anyway im halfway through mort and have never been happier
