hate hate hate that my first experience with seeing a superhero comic that I love be referenced in a loose cinema adaptation is the gd loki tv show
#mainly bc gillen's journey into mystery/young avengers/(not gillen's) agent of asgard is the only superhero comic bit I got into#I can finally empathise like a decade behind the curve#anyway the excitement and stress of seeing a clear aoa ref in the design of the variant in ep 2 is real#partially cause I'm trying to reserve investment in this show cause I don't wanna be disappointed#DISCLAIMER: I endorse neither disney nor the mcu I am watching this on google drive like god intended and do not endorse the show itself yet#I am just caught in the bear trap of past hyperfixations#personal#and might just reread aoa instead of letting myself get invested in an mcu property
