Any ideas/headcanons/opinions about transfem Abed?

ahhh i honestly wish i had more!! i only really came across the idea recently and fell in love with it.

however i think her love of film would be not only as a way to communicate but to express herself. like, it's hard for her to understand other people (she's autistic it's canon whatever) but it was even harder to understand herself, yk? but with film she was able to put those feelings into something more than just confusion.

i think she probably struggled a lot with her emotions at first, accepting that her dad wouldn't understand so she just pushed those emotions down and yk...ignored em! i also think that eventually she couldn't ignore them and came out to her father before college. i... actually don't know how that would go?? i think he wouldn't understand at first, but he loves abed so imo he'd learn to get over it/at least be accepting of abed in any way he could.

speaking of abed i also don't know what her name would be if she wanted to change it! i've seen some variations but idk to be honest.

i think by the time she got to greendale she'd want to go stealth and would be excited to meet people who didn't know her before she transitioned. i also feel like she'd be extra anxious around shirley with her religious guilting (bc in my opinion transfem abed is still as bisexual as cis abed is to me (although is abed even really cis? he gives more nb/agender vibes tbh)).

speaking of religion even though i don't know much about islam i think if abed wore hijabs she'd love patterns. i saw a post about how she'd wear multiples and if someone pulled them off (*cough* pierce *cough*) she'd have a heart patterned one underneath it and i actually love that idea so much. i've heard that muslim women own many different hijabs and i don't think it'd be any different for abed. like, she owns a hijab for every occasion.

she absolutely incorporates her hijabs into her costumes, like whenever her and troy dress up and the inspector and constable. kick puncher? cougar town? she's styling her hijab in new ways to properly capture the character. she's prepped.
