Nicholas got you a dog as a reward for good behavior but consistently locks it out of your room while he's at the castle (He has threatened to kill the poor puppy tho 😥)

For some reason I can't get a hang of A Plague Tale series. I haven't had the patience to finish watching APTI, skipped to the end. Now the same thing happens with APTR. The visuals are very nice, but the pace, the atmosphere, the historical period, the animation, the bugs, the characters. It feels... empty, all of it. Sometimes fake, even. These games can't keep me invested. It's just not for me, I guess.

Which is very sad 'cause I do want to explore new games, I miss playing and good stories. Alas, it's another game that looks good only as screencaps and gifs for me. And even at that, I feel like AC Origins and Odyssey look similar & have similar historical period, but also look way better and gorgeous. There's something about the graphics and the sharpness and the colours, I guess.

When she squeezed his wrist like that after setting down his plate you knew what you had to do…you knew that she had to die

You waited until nightfall once your room was dark and your husband was in a deep deep sleep the Dwale helping wonderfully

The stone felt cold on your bare feet and became worse as you walked along until your feet were practically numb but you were determined going to the kitchen getting one of the largest sharpest things

Making your way to her small closet size room was quick but her bunkmate…you tucked the knife into your nightgown before quietly waking the girl up shushing her to not wake up hee bunk mate you waved for her to fallow and of course she did like a dumb little sheep

The two of you went to a slightly secluded hall and once you were sure no one was there you smiled at the girl

"My lady, what do you need help with? It is quite late."

"Oh don't worry it'll be quick." You pulled out the knife lunging forward and stabbing her in the gut she gasped in surprise trying to grab onto you for support

But she didn't have a chance as you pulled the knife out stabbing her once more, then again, then again, and once she was on the ground you took your anger out in her pretty face making sure no one would ever think she was pretty again

You left the knife sticking out of her eye before going back to your room Nicholas still fast asleep you took off your nightgown throwing it into the fireplace before going into the small washroom using the freezing bucket of water to wash your hands and legs

The damn drawers are always so squeaky! You glance back at the bed seeing Nicholas roll over but other then that he didn't move

You grabbed another nightgown slipping it on before tiptoing over to the bed and carefully slipping in your husband groaned but just rolled to pull you into his arms and in that moment everything was back to normal and perfect

But in the morning you knew you would have to act horrified and act like the scared little lamb Nicholas loved
