And finishing off today with a much different kind of sound, venturing into the nihilistic and trap metal rips of Scarlxrd. Previously in a band and with a YouTube career before settling into his solo act, he's definitely expanded upon and made his mark on the rap metal genre. He might be recognizable as well for his features with Corpse Husband.

I love this guy's vocals a lot! He has a very quick-paced, intense yell, and his style has dipped into a lot of dark, horror based vibes for this particular album.

does my muse have any  ‘  unusual  ’  habits,  interests,  and  /  or talents?   There are very few ‘ normal ’ meals in the Kinney household! Most meals have a strange twist of some sort. Or just an overload of spices.

jono isn’t unused to being observed. he’s gained more than a few of his students on krakoa in that way, a curious teen watching chamber’s strange class from a distance, trying to figure out what makes them tick, why they refuse the usual methods of akademos’ other instructors. it’s sent others packing just as quickly, declaring his teaching boring or just plain wrong, but, usually, he can stand the eyes on him, and so can his students.

today, for some reason, it’s different; he can hardly get them to settle, eyes casting again and again to the edge of the clearing, trying so hard to sit so still that some of them are nearly vibrating out of their skin, shouting answers in bright, clear voices when he startles them out of their distraction - finally, he allows himself a glance, just in his peripherals, just to check what’s got them so riled, and he finds himself tensing as well.

oh. no wonder.

he draws to a stopping point in his lecture, earlier than he’d meant to, and then checks in on their assignments, independent and group alike, offering suggestions and direction before he dismisses them for the day, waving off the concern of his older students with the promise that he’ll be fine. jono isn’t sure he can guarantee that, but - it works for them, bling! and greymalkin corralling stragglers down the path and leaving jono with - him.

Tommy had thought that he was alone, an abandoned building in a quiet part of town seemed fitting for probably illegal experiments, but he needed to know just how far he could push himself. Time and space had existed differently for him from the time he woke up all those years ago, it warped around him, twisting to conform to his movements, and now he wants to learn to CONTROL it, to tear through it and make it his. He jerks back and forth, over and over again, the sound barrier cracking with each movement as he rips his way through it, the constant boom rushing by his ears means that he doesn’t notice he isn’t alone.
