HOMESTUCK TRENDING IN THE YEAR OF OUR LORD 2022? I MUST GET IN ON THE ACTION BECAUSE IVE BEEN DRAWING FANTROLLS AND HAVE NO ART OF CANON CHARACTERS This is Khanyx Regatt and shes a ferryman in my massive AU. shes a purpleblood, and has facepaint that resembles a skull. (subtle i know. shes a Thief of Void as well, but thats more to get a sense of her personality+struggles since im not god tiering any of my fan characters)

im working on the actual ref, but the colors are ungodly awful right now since i need to clean up everything. pro tip: DONT COLOR ALL OF THE BASE IN WHITE AND THEN TRY TO CLEAN UP AFTERWARD

Jadeblood Field uniform

Jadebloods live in the brooding caverns, taking care of grubs and sending young trolls to their permanent placements when that time comes. Surrounded by a thick, dense forest, it is difficult to get to the caverns, but with the added danger of toxic plants, large predators, and spores that if inhaled, touched, or disturbed otherwise can burn flesh and kill you, the path to the brooding caverns is near impossible for the unprepared alternian traveler. Luckily, there is a dedicated path for those who wish to enter the forest, and Jadebloods with special gear to protect and deliver travelers to the caverns safely. Called Surveyors, their outfits are comprised of a few essential elements:

a full coverage thick wool smock

leather boots and gloves

a specialized mask that filters the air with a flashlight embedded in the forehead

a silk head wrap to protect the scalp and ears

depressing additions to Archivebound - part 1 out of ???

(trigger warning for possibly graphic descriptions of brain damage, general trigger warning for themes including memory loss, severe mental health issues, and death)

- kanaya and rose are still alive! but are in white rooms (torture rooms that are pure white and blinding, causing severe distress in prisoners, where theyre used.)

- gamzee is still alive! but has massive amounts of brain damage and motor impairments, along with losing his memory and suffering dementia-like symptoms. he remains unimportant but still there because i want him to be there. (comfort character moment)

- dave has at some point return and never left because he was captured and uh. turned to scrap since he was over on the alternian side and they dont have much in the way of robotic tech, and also had a general festering hatred for dave specifically

- jane is still head of crockercorp and has outlived her son

- jake is lucky hes a god because hes suffered liver failure and other fun things like seizures and heart failure due to his excessive drinking (which only got worse over time)

- vriska is in a limbo state due to the human milita exploiting the mechanic for god tier deaths, causing her to constantly die and then be revived

an almost direct clone of karkat that was a concept in my AU Archivebound but is really more of a leftover of the previous idea. Their whole existence is kind of foggy in nature, a mirage if you will. i still really love them and want to use them so they're probably gonna be used as my trollsona, which would require some updates to their lunar sway and caste (Bronzeblood and Derse) and an update to their classpect, which would be Bard of Time. Vynera is a reference to Pink Floyd do not ask about Pink Floyd i will rant about Eternals missuisng Time as their "prog rock" opener. im so pissed.

i have a blog for archivebound now but its def still a huge wip atm, but i will add concepts and character profiles soon since i have a good majority of that already fleshed out. @archivebound-au
