so i have lab exams and assignments this week, and figured i might as well keep track of everything i need to hand in/study for
from being a vaguely hopeful highschooler to becoming a frustrated college student, i've come far, but let's see if we can get all this done and dusted by the end of the week, and retain my sanity in the process.
chem lab & java lab 1, dsd submission (tue)
trw lab, dsd software review (wed)
java lab 2 (thur)
dsd lab (fri // the worst of all)
beyond that i can't remember any assignments or quizzes due this week, but if i remember any ill come back and edit the post.
ALSO, i j went back and checked my old posts and realized the last time i posted something on this account was when i had lab exams for sem 1, it's definitely a pattern lmao
wish me luck! 🍀

Hi , what's your ideal routine of the day usually
hi, im glad you asked!
my ideal routine of the day is to wake at 8, grab breakfast and get 2-3 hours of studying in. then get ready, eat lunch at 12.30pm, either go to classes if it's a weekday (i have afternoon theory classes since i live inside the campus), or meet up w friends and go on a walk. after coming back to my dorm, i hit the gym for 30mins, usually arms or the treadmill (since it's convenient), shower and study until 8pm. then eat dinner, call my parents and give night attendance, during which i relax and watch youtube as well. after that, back to the grind until about 11.30, when i start getting sleepy, call a friend and talk to them until 12.30 or 1, then go to sleep.
some additional details -
i try to eat the same portions at the same times every single day because that's better for your body
i also try to get in some form of cardio every single day, which isnt that hard since i go on walks every day without fail. the key is to have friends you have a consistent active routine with, such as a gym buddy or walking buddy
lately ive been trying to limit my screen time and mindless scrolling, as well as study at consistent times of the day, and so far it's working
things i need to improve -
physically i need to focus on hydrating throughout the day, putting on sunscreen regularly and being consistent with my haircare routine
also need to have breakfast more often, which is a direct consequence of me not getting up on time and a bad sleeping schedule in general (i will never promote skipping meals on this blog, so please eat all your meals and stay healthy, dont be like me)
i need to schedule more intentional breaks bcz it's very easy to burn out with a packed schedule like this, cut down on spending (and junk food) and be more regular about doing my chores
let me know if you want any tips, app recommendations or more details on how i workout etc. i'll be posting a studying masterpost soon, so stay tuned for that ₊˚⊹ ᡣ𐭩

hi, I'm trying to start new , so I want to less my screen time and study and don't wanna eat unhealthy, but I have migraine problems so if go outside I need to always eat like sweet something like candy and biscuits .
❤ to lessen screen time, i use this free app called Regain, where you can set up time limits for your distracting apps. what i love the most about the app is that it blocks scrolling reels and youtube shorts, and every time you open a distracting app, it asks how much time you wanna spend on it, and encourages you to close the app when your chosen time is up. i find that it helps me get less distracted and be more intentional with the way i spend my time.
for pc, the app Cold Turkey works well for me, where you can set up app and website blocks to control your screen time. it is a robust software and i like to use it when im in deep trenches (such as before exam season).
❤ speaking of mindful eating, getting something sweet to eat is not necessarily unhealthy as long as it is in moderation. a rule of thumb is to limit yourself to a single serving of packaged snacks, a small candy bar and 2-3 standard-sized biscuits, which is the recommended daily portion. another option is to pair snacks with wholesome foods such as fruit, nuts or yoghurt, or to replace sweet foods with their healthier alternatives. however, do your research and consult a doctor if needed, because my advice is general and might not apply to your case.
❤ for studying, start small with 2-5 tasks and block out times in your calendar during which you'd like to study. next, upload your task list and the time you want to dedicate to doing these on chatgpt, and ask it to create a study schedule for you. customise it according to your needs. you can create a week's schedule ahead of time or just a daily one, as you see fit. make sure not to overwhelm yourself with tasks and prioritise upcoming exams or assignments, even if you want to procastinate on them and do something else. the key is to be consistent and show up for yourself, which may mean just studying for 20 mins or only finishing one task. building the habit of studying will go a longer way than just cramming last moment and then going back to old patterns.
and that's it, hope you found this helpful! <3 let me know if you'd like me to explain in further detail, and be sure to update me on your progress, id love to see what works for you . ۫ ꣑ৎ

11.23.24 | Studied a good deal yesterday, and finished the first season of Stranger Things. Lowkey hooked.
I completed about half of my to-do list, need to get started on lab exams preparation and project reviews that are upcoming the next week.
