Flint is obviously queer, but I tend to view him as bisexual -- when he first becomes entangled with Miranda, there is absolutely no reason for him to do it other than wanting to. It's an objectively bad idea. She's a married woman and he's working for her husband, and despite what Miranda had implied, he hasn't actually confirmed yet that Thomas would be okay with it. He kisses her because she's beautiful and incredibly charismatic and he wants to do it.

Thomas, I feel a little more inclined to view as gay, with his sexuality maybe a factor in his and Miranda's arrangement (wherein she can fuck other people), but he still clearly respects her and loves her dearly. She's someone who understood and supported him before essentially anyone else, and there's a huge amount of fondness in their relationship.

Thomas and his goals guide all of what Flint does later, but Miranda isn't a lesser part of the equation or a third wheel. For years before they met Flint, Miranda was Thomas's Person, and for all the years after Thomas, she's Flint's. They both truly love her. She is deeply vital to both those men and to their relationship with each other. Even if Thomas/Miranda wasn't romantic, it's clearly strong and loving, and they're both deeply important to Flint.

So I'm kind of confounded to see that Thomas/Miranda/Flint has less than half of the works on ao3 that Thomas/Flint does. Like -- why is that? It can't all be from when the fics are set. They can share him, guys.

Another thing that makes Loki’s upset reasonable is that by Thor 1 Odin was already dying, and within the decade would die (as is mentioned, and as we see in the following Thor movies). If Odin ever planned on telling Loki about his origin why would he leave it till the literal end of his life. acting like he planned to tell Loki still makes it sound like he was waiting for his deathbed to do it. at best.

no listen you don't understand- I am obsessed with how differently Anders reacts to Hawke hitting on him after completing his Tranquility quest depending on gender.

He talks about how he hopes he didn't come off as selfish for keeping Justice a secret, and Hawke has the flirty option of "at least he got a nice body."

With a lady Hawke, his response is a dramatic, "Noooo, don't do that~ Don't go there, I don't want to hurt you~ That's not going to end well~ I'll break your heart~" like he's so serious about it, and when Hawke tells him to do it, that she doesn't mind a little pain, he gives a hard no; "I'll break your heart and that might kill me as surely as the templars."

But with male Hawke?? Anders is like, ".....So y'know, in the circle everything is about rules and order so we apprentices found ways to make it bearable, if you know what I mean, hint hint wink wink. Karl and I? Yeah, he was my first. I've always believed people fall in love with a whole person, not just a body. Why would you shy away from loving someone just because they're like you? I remember when this page dropped on Tuesday, July 16, 2013, and Blackenloin/Goldenheart/Goldheart/w/e shippers all collectively lost our minds. Yes, Ballister and Ambrosius are very shippable from the get-go (their hand placement on p.13, Ambrosius on p.21 to Ballister "Are you trying to make me jealous" and his otherwise flirty dialogue, Ambrosius holding Ballister's hand at the bar on p.102, plus little hints and things by Nate on Nate's tumblr), but p.126 was an outright confirmation that it wasn't just angsty and close platonic stuff (with very clingy Ambrosius) that's fun to ship but not exactly canon in the text itself (like you can read it as "oh these two had something" from the get-go but it's not exactly explicit up until this point, and it's a different experience reading the completed comic all in one go versus reading it page by page over the course of a couple years as pages release). The Director's wording, Ambrosius' little blush. Ahh, these beans.
