Been cycling through and staring at photos from basils rw photo album and the calendar arts to get an idea of what kind of fashion sense sunny and his friends have.

So far the stuff I’ve noticed is:

Mari wears collared shirts most of the time.

Hero wears t-shirts and collared shirts.

Sunny wears t-shirts.

Kel likes stripes apparently (he has striped t-shirts + striped scarf)

Aubrey’s clothes appear to be given by Mari (perhaps hand-me-downs? or when Mari bought the clothes, bought a similar one for Aubrey. Of all her outfits, only some seemed to be originally hers.)

Whenever Basil is in the shot, he mostly wears something green.

And their fashion sense I think is:

Mari and Hero tries to match each chance they get. Whenever one of them wears a collared shirt, the other does the same. Each time Mari wears a cardigan, Hero wears a jacket (except for January art, where Hero wears an apron.)

Sunny prefers comfy clothes, mostly t-shirts and shorts. He also always wears white socks most of the time.

Kel prefers easy to move around clothes in (Only times I’ve seen him in long sleeves are in November and December arts.)

Aubrey prefers easy to move around clothes in (Same as Kel! It seemed these two likes to move about a lot. Though Aubrey less than Kel especially when she’s wearing a skirt to match her shirt.)

Basil has a similar fashion sense to Mari (Cute at first, worrying when you remember how he wanted to be like Mari that sees the bright side in things. So it’s kind of how he tries to take on the “caretaker” role too.)

the dreamUp stuff still sucks ass (LAION has no copyright filter on their datasets, as they only store the URLS of where images are hosted. The dataset USERS are the ones who set up the images for their training data but. this really isn't hard to do :/// this is like a loophole to avoid getting copyright struck)

They claim to not be using deviations on deviantArt to train their model. This update WAS NOT part of the initial post so... it seems that they are NOT using all uploaded deviations..? still scummy and this DEFINITELY reads as backpedaling to me due to backlash but...it is no longer dire/in art theft territory, i think?

Venus sitting to take up as lil space as she possibly can but during her transformation, it became the exact opposite due to having wings, so she ends up taking as much space as possible instead.

Neptune remaining mercilessly fashionable while watching the other groups but during her transformation, she's the exact opposite of that due to the black ichor dripping down her chin, making a mess as she walks. She became one you will watch instead of her watching the others.

Jupiter pulling her legs up, liking the security of holding her whole body but during her transformation, hands reach out instead, being the exact opposite in that she wants to hold someone, touch someone, pet someone, hurt someone.

Each of the girls' transformation reflecting on what they really want from the way they normally act is a theme scattered around throughout the game ever since the beginning and I am being very Normal about it again. Venus wants more space for herself, she wants to stop making her world so small, Neptune wants to stop putting on a facade, she wants to be seen as herself no matter how messy that'd turn out to be, Jupiter wants to be closer to someone, she wants to stop being so touch starved but is too afraid to reach out.

Something I just realized in We Know The Devil's true ending is that, not only did they all found peace with each other in their new bodies, but they worked with one another in harmony to harness a better form of it. Jupiter's storm is calmer with her blood being lighter than air, the black ichor dripping from Neptune became clearer with the help of Venus who was really patient with it, parts of Venus' body was peeled off by Jupiter.

The ending music for it is a really nice touch too, it's a harmonious combination between the sounds of a storm, the air, and the waves. The first time you listen, you don't hear much of any individual part of it cuz of how well it mixes with one another but the longer you listen, you can hear the sounds of a loud storm, sounds of a heavy breeze, and sounds of a billowing waves. And all of it is accompanied by the sounds of an organ, which is normally used to signify peace as an instrument commonly found in churches.

Thinking bout how Josephandre felt during that time in his journey where everyone started praising him as a chosen one or someone with a rich lineage of heroes and what not. I think he'd feel similar to Mira but couldn't show it outwardly at all or even tell anything bout it towards his own companions for fear of them being hurt or leaving. I think the reveal about his true identity came off similar in the way that Mira admitted about the fact that it wasn't the Change God that blessed her.

So the reveal hit Mira harder than it should that in a life and death situation like the one they were in, she just couldn't process it well enough that her favourite series' main character, that her favourite character especially, had the Same Troubles as her. I think Mira has been relying on Josephandre as a "he's a chosen one and he's able to do aalll these great things..." and she thinks a little less of herself cuz she Isn't a chosen one like how Josephandre has been praised so far. Only for the series' last issue to show that "Hey, Josephandre wasn't actually a chosen one. He's just an ordinary guy that wanted to help people." Mira emotions must've been a wreck at that revelation that, "Oh... he's just like me."

Revisited some of my favourite moments in We Know The Devil and just realized that Venus' wings really can see the truth. It's the fact that she's the one that sees the "devil" in her friends before it even manifests properly. How during the drinking hangout, if paired with Neptune, she's the one that accompanies her in the bathroom and sees what was wrong.

If paired with Jupiter during the seven minutes in heaven game, she's the one who's neck got grabbed by the hands in the dark. But despite that, she continues to believe that she's the devil anyway. Wings to see the truth and eyes to lay it bare.

So my isat au-- that I don't have a title for just yet but-- My isat au, featuring Odile in pain, love her! Basically, the general gist of it is: What if Odile loops au but during the Act 5 moments, ended up dying after the family members got to her by the King battle cuz of her abusing the power of Craft and it just ran out so she ended up Supposedly dying. But she didn't. And instead finds herself back in that same shop.

Sooo... in that au, nothing much changed with the wishes from canon, everyone wished the same things Except instead of the Universe granting Siffrin the power to make that wish come true, they brought the spotlight to Odile. Odile is trapped in a timeloop she doesn't even know Why she was in it, especially when her wish was just a simple coin toss. It takes a long while for her to get enough info to suspect Siffrin but whenever she tries to confront em bout it, she gets dodged every single time. It also doesn't help that Siffrin Doesn't remember the loops (also in my au, Siff is still the one person able to read the books from The Country, however... he first needs to die from the King's attack, the next loop would temporarily equip them with a memory that allows them to read books from The Country, Odile doesn't like doing that).

No changes with Loop too, aaannd so we get back to the prologue of sorts of it. She was boutta turn to stone, but she ended up looping! That has lasting effects. First off, the current loop she now finds herself in after That Whole Ordeal, is a lil different, for one thing, no one remembers the previous loop, Including Loop themself. But they Feel that Something Is Wrong. Siffrin feels it especially strongly, he thinks that he had a nightmare and had to just Find Odile Immediately. The others felt as though Something Bad happened to Odile too but can't quite place the feeling of it other than being strangely worried and anxious bout her. When Odile went to Loop, Loop started teasing her about the whole "hurting your family members" thing during the start of Act 5, that's all they remember from that loop. So Odile was just: "I died." And Loop gonna be: "Well! I guess the others didn't reach you in time then, who in their right mind would take on the King all alone--" "No. They reached me, but I died. I wasn't supposed to loop." The two had a long discussion bout that, she'd spend the entire loop there but had to spend the rest of the day with the others with how worried they looked.

Also the lasting effects of the previous loop is: Odile was lvl 99 when she died, she's still lvl 99 in the new loop BUT it counts down per loop. The lower it gets, cracks form on her body. So now she has only 99 attempts left. She needs to get out of the loop then.

WAit, I have another question in regards to isat worldbuilding... Do you think that it's preferred to have a one-handed weapon compared to a two-handed one in isat? Because of the fact that to be able to use Craft, you need your other hand for that. So if it's a two-handed weapon, to use Craft, you'd need to put the weapon down so it's a bit of a hassle to have a two-handed weapon in that way unless your Craft type is either rock or scissors that makes it possible to form without putting the weapon down.
