It's hard to keep things under my hat sometimes. Especially when it takes months to finish a painting I'm totally smitten with. Although, thinking about it, space between the emotional ups & downs of the creative process and when you get to see it, is good. I am more at ease once the work is done. Painting is such a nervy process at times. I have mini-panic points where I'm sure I'll get stuck and not be able figure out how to finish in time for a deadline. So it just seems better to wait. Though I do love work in progress shots and getting to see how art comes into being. I cannot wait to see you all at G&M this year!! I woke up in my own room and got ready to go to school. I got to my only class on time but I ended up falling asleep in the middle of lecture but woke up for the really important slides, which were actually really interesting #arthistorygeek

I met up with JL1, MK, VL and we went to our bubble tea place. It was so cold on the way there, we were making very unattractive noises as we shivered our buns off. We hung out there for a little bit and I met up with VC so we can have some actual food. Of course he wanted some pho. I said soup sounds good, but I had a weird craving for Chipotle so we went there. I haven't had that in a long long time so it was really really good. I wished I finished my burrito bowl though, I was just really full from my peach bubble tea. We bagged the rest of it.

Then we went over to Verizon so he can get some chargers for his car and at his work and he asked about his contract. It ends in March. I'm not sure if this information is even relevant to my blog.

We went back home because he was really tired because he got up earlier than usual. We wanted to just chill on the couches and watch a movie but his mom was home. We couldn't do anything "fun" because we were half watching these classic shows from the 60's with his mom and playing Candy Crush on my phone. As the sun sets, VC got energized because he said so himself that he is a night person. He gets energy from the moonlight. How romantic does that sound?

Then he dropped me back at school so I can go home to see my mom. Yes. Apparently, my mom is in town for a couple of days. She didn't even call me to tell me that she is coming down here. I ended up getting stuck in traffic (I left later so avoid all of this) and I missed her. My sister got to see her for a little bit though.

I got home and ate some food and organized my life for the rest of the week. My room is a little cleaner and my closet is a little fuller and my desk is a little straighter. I just have some laundry I want to do when I have some time. I actually read stuff for my classes and was able to cross off two (read it, TWO) things off my list of things to do this week. I felt good. Here are some more things I have to do this week (not everything):

deposit my check

buy a book, start reading it by end of this week for AES

read a bajillion articles for my psych and art history class

set up an appointment with my psych TA to talk about my horrible grades and attendance

ortho appointment at 3pm

extra credit lecture for AES, an hour after ortho appt

i have to do my nails, they are too bare

I know I wrote that VC and I have decided that I will not spend the night at his house during the weekdays, I defended the fact that I did what I had to do that night (for school) and there is no reason why I will skip school the next day so we mutually agreed that I should head up to his house. I left at 2am.
