I saw some of these ArtvsHero posts and I really liked this idea! So I tried to do one myself :'D

it took me longer than I thought but I tried to narrow it down to the artists that influenced me the most in my art style and you all are definitely my art hero's! ❤️❤️❤️ Your art is so damn beautiful and inspiring and you all helped me to grow as an artist ❤️ and I know that some of you sadly left tumblr a long time ago but nevertheless:

Art vs Hero

I’m like a bunch of months behind but I had always liked this meme and wanted to try making it, but I gotta admit I was a bit nervious becuase I wanted to make this more about artists that helped me to develop the basis of my style and welp....they sure are a varied group aren’t they??? 

so you know it folks, if you wanna draw liek me, mostly just grab all these fellows and put it on a blender for the magic trick that I am!

At last (after a terrible month), nothing to do at work! Yeeeeey! So I decided to do this little challenge of the #artvshero thing (yep, I know it’s an old meme, but I’m also old, and always late to the last tendencies XD). Since I want this blog to be more art focused, I will try to upload pics (and even little tutorials (if you want)) more often. I don’t really know if my followers are interested on this kind of things, but anyway I’ll try. 

Sooooo, in case you want to know more about my art, here you have my “influence map”. I’ve chosen the artists that really influenced drastically on my way of drawing. It’s a good exercise to think about our own style, so I’m encouraging all fanartists in this little fandom to do this meme ;D

I've noticed people doing these posts #artvshero. I really loved the idea of finding 8 artists that helped you develop your professional skills. I totally underestimated how difficult choosing only 8 artists would be! In the end I chose the ones who I believe have most influenced my art (as opposed to listing all the artists that I admire, the list would be endless), and I still had to leave out names like Millais, Dulac, Bilibin, Howe...
