Hey. Sometimes, something just *does not work out* and the only solution is to scrap it and start over. It happens. Unfortunately the sizing on the Arches paper I was using on this artwork went bad. My watercolours just turned into a muddy mess after a couple of layers. Finally got around to finish adding some colour to this for @margauxmara ! Here's her character (who now seems related to Michelle Gomez but this is another question entirely!)! It was my first and I had a lot of fun with it - it was a great digital drawing exercise! Prompt - A tropical shower Yay!! This is the very first artwork I've ever done digitally from scratch! I've never felt comfortable sketching on my tablet before but I finally found the right combination of tools that works for me! And I *love* inking digitally, it turns out! Quite chuffed about the new horizons this will open for me!
