Nana Kika, illustration artist, born in 1980 in Moscow in the USSR, with French roots from Marseille on her father's side, was emigrated to West Germany in 1987. In childish recklessness, small circles were already scribbled on paper at the age of 7. After growing up in Cologne under her civil name Anastasija Kirillowa, taking drawing lessons and attending an art school, she finally moved to Berlin in 2003. In 2007, she studied communication design with a focus on illustration at the FH Potsdam. This was the official birth of Nana Kika. Nana Kika drew her illustrations / artworks with small circles strung together, reminiscent of cell structures such as bacterial cells or soap foam. This style element runs through all her works. The provocative creatures drawn resemble demigods or mythical creatures from another world, perhaps a dream world. The themes processed by the artist are on the pulse of time and touch the viewer with a raised forefinger as helping messengers of life. Her last series "Bacteria Egomania" and old works will be shown for the first time in a group exhibition in the coming year 2024.

Hi to you all! :)

A little storytime. Well I´m not very long on Tumblr and my first years as an artist I was on Deviantart. After Deviantart went down with their content and got very, veeeeery.... different I switched to Instagram. My goal was to find a community to grow as an artist and to find people who share the same interests. Artistic conversations to help each other to get better with every artwort and to share love and happiness in the fandom was my hope.

Many of you know how instagram now changed (and twitter we don´t need to talk about this mess at the moment...). It is screaming into a void if you don´t have the highest number or you went viral. Hell I even draw Vash on a bread to have fun with the newest viral song where a piece of bread has more hearts then an artwork. It was funny and sad at the same time. Well It was funny to make Vash happy and a chance to learn to draw bread. xD

At the moment I try to find myself with my art again and to draw things I love or think that are funny for me. I want to go further and to get better with every picture, but I can´t draw alone pictures for me. Everytime I look at a finished artwork... I feel happy but in the same time kinda alone and do the next artwork as a result without holding on the artwork I created. Art is a way to express and to communicate for me. I wanna show them and talk with others about it. I want to see and talk with artist about their artworks as well. I love to chat with others and to find a place to belong.

First: I dont see trans people as 'undesirable' monsters or freaks. Or whatever you are trying to accuse me of. Also you never asked any question. You just wrote some weird comment.

Second: again Why do you read/hear 'rapist' and immediately think 'transperson'?
