I also don't love Shinsou don't hate him I just don't love him, its nice to see someone else who's not over the moon about him. In cannon he's kind of bland as he doesn't get alot of screentime. And most things fans like about him is fannon not cannon. I also think he can be kind of a jerk and there's almost no fics or posts exploring or even just stating that he has flaws.

What's this? Someone else who doesn't sing Shinsou praises non-stop? Is this for real? Or a trick to chop off my head as soon as I pop out of the fox hole? Lol.

I agree, though. I don’t hate him, it’s just that aside from the fact Shinsou wants to be a hero with a quirk others see as villainous, he’s pretty bland to me. (Okay, I love that he was willing to go toe to toe with Bakagou’s attitude. He gets an ultra plus for that.) Still, it’s annoying how he’s shoved in my face all the time.

And you’re right; people tend to skip this fact but in the manga, he can be a bit a jerk. He picks fights with people, and he never seems to acknowledge that his quirk did hurt Ojiro and that student from class B. (Okay, it's touched on in briefs, but still.) Not to mention that despite the angst he has surrounding his quirk, Shinsou has no issue using it to do things like making the people around him basically his servants and having them carry him like he’s a king. (Yeah, no one’s ever gonna bring up his ego in fanfics, now are they?). Not blaming him too much as that’s the way it works his quirk. It does annoy me how he’s basically turned into a minizawa / tsundere woobie saint. Actually, everything I do hate about Shinsou does come from fanon, but hey I’m not going to tell people what to like or dislike, or what to do with the character. I just wish he wasn’t included in EVERY erasermic thing ever. (I mean, I’ll take him over Eri, who seemed to have been created to hit every 'irritate' button of mine without going into hate, despite the cute design.) But oh well.
