The second Chapter of my TWST RoleSwap Au is coming slow, so to get the creative juices flowing I made some head canons.
For those not in the know, I made a series of polls to switch characters roles like it was a mixer and created an entire AU around it. More details are here and the first chapter to the AU is here.
Here are some HC for RoleSwap “Savanaclaw” (Leona in Malleus’ role, Silver in Lilia’s, Lilia in Silver’s, and Jamil in Sebek’s)
*Leona treats Lilia and Jamil like kid brothers and often teases them. When in a playful mood he’ll “train” with them and bat them around like a cat playing with a mouse toy.
*The trio are very competitive with one another. Leona and Lilia compete on sports while Leona and Jamil compete academic-wise. Jamil and Lilia compete for attention and try to 1-up each other on everything. (It’s never serious, just playfully childish.)
*Despite being the youngest, Jamil often nags everyone in the group. He nags Leona for not acting like a prince and being lazy, Lilia for not acting like a guard, and Silver for not being harder on them. That said he is a mother hen to all of them.
*Silver basically raised them all.
*Silver has a soft touch when it comes to his boys. While he often lectures and light admonishes their behavior, he never does anything unless they go too far. That said when he gets angry and truly scold them everyone instantly jumps to attention and obeys.
*Despite being the oldest, Silver is the most naive of the group due too being too honest. As a result the boys are often looking out to make sure no one takes advantage of him or harms him.
**That said, Leona will take advantage of Silver’s naivety to do what he likes. He can do it, but no one else is allowed.
*Leona and Silver often nap together in the sunshine.
*Lilia has golden strands from the blessing Silver gave him when he found him.
*Lilia only gained his “two-legged” form when he was fifteen. Before that he was always in bat form. It took him a while to get used to his new form, but Silver helped him.
**As a baby bat he was both an adventurous bat always getting into mischeif and daddy’s boy that often clung to Silver’s shoulder.
*Silver taught Lilia to fly by bouncing him in the air.
*Lilia likes to tease his father and acts tsundere-ish, more so when he’s worried. (He is a teenager.) In a way, he’s like a grumpy cat.
*Silver taught all three of the kids to fight, but Leona had to help teach magic.
*He had to win Jamil over at the start, but now he genuinely respects Silver’s strength character.
*Not to get into spoilers, but Silver help Jamil heal after a dramatic point in his life.
*All the “kids” are devious little things with cocky attitudes. That said, Silver did infect them all with good hearts so they will help someone if needed.
*All the boys grew their hair long to copy Silver, Lilia in particular.
*Silver is basically Mufasa to Leona who is a lot like Simba.

Lilia grunted as a force pushed him backward. He managed to stop sliding back further by catching himself, his nails scrapping into the ground.
“Well! I must admit I’m impressed by your tenacity.” Lilia’s ruby eyes flashed crimson as he whipped his head up, growling.
His fangs were out and bared at the vile foe looming above in a cradle of red flowers. However, the man didn’t keep Lilia's attention for long as his gaze kept darting around the area to check on his family.
None of them brought comfort to Lilia’s old heart.
Malleus and Silver were trapped in glass tubes covered with crimson lotus flowers. The plants not only drained their magic but were slowly taking their life force as well.
Both were paler than usual, their skins as white as lilies placed on a coffin. Silver was also decorated with bruises, varying in colors from yellow, purple, blue, red, and even black. He had other marks as well that were hard to identify through the vines that coiled around him like snakes inside the glass. Silver must have fought so hard to protect Malleus.
The prisoners’ expressions were pinched with fatigue and strain, their breaths heavy as they tried their best to fight off the effect of the ensnaring lotus, sweat dripping down their faces as they fought to even breathe.
The sight made Lilia’s pulse pick up a pace. It hurt him to see the children he raised like this. The fae had to fight back the urge to rush forward, grab them, and pull both safely into his arms. As much as it pained him, he had to focus on the fight.
‘I wonder how much longer they have before--’ Lilia clenched his fist, his fingers digging up the soil as he did so.
Malleus and Silver had been captured on a school trip. When Lilia learned of this, he had come to save them along with Sebek.
Unfortunately, it turned out their foe was stronger and more conniving than they imagined. It wasn’t long before the situation turned out horribly.
Sebek now lay to the side, his limbs skewed from multiple broken bones. Blood leaked from a head wound, which rendered him unconscious. Around him, the crimson lotuses were approaching, like hungry beasts about to devour.
“Sebek!” Lilia created a shield just in time to save his pupil from the vines. However, his relief didn’t last even a second. The old General knew that barrier wouldn’t hold long, for Lilia wasn’t doing much better than anyone else.
Countless cuts now marred his body, blood pooling from the deeper ones. He began to realize how much red he lost when his vision began to blur. Lilia growled in his throat, disgusted at himself.
‘I can’t believe I’ve been weakened to this point.’ To the point where Lilia couldn’t even protect the things he loved most.
Lilia gritted his teeth as self-loathing filled him, eyes nearly pinching shut. He never would have imagined he would have become this pathetic, this worthless.
The people he loved most—his student, his Prince, his son—were all dying before his eyes, yet he couldn’t do a thing!
Still, that didn’t mean Lilia was going to stop trying. Not when there was even a single breath in his body.
Lilia made to pounce, to continue his attack--to rip out the throat of the man who hurt his children like this--when something grabbed him from behind. Horror filled Lilia's eyes.
“No!” The vines of the red flowers wrapped around his body, binding him where he stood. Lilia struggled to use his brute strength to break them as his arms were pinned to the side. But if Malleus—a descendant of two dragons—wasn't able to break free, what chance did Lilia have, especially now?
"Dammit!" Lilia could feel the lotuses' powers start to take effect. He was quickly becoming drained of his magic--what little he had--and his legs shook as his muscles weakened. Despite this, Lilia managed to remain standing, through pride alone, if he had to guess. Through lidded eyes, he looked up as a shadow covered him.
The villain was carried down to him by the flowers, which held him like a swing.
The foe’s eyes twinkled in amusement as he watched Lilia, a smug grin across his lips. The smirk infuriated Lilia, sending fire through his skin.
“I really like you!” he hummed, reaching to tilt Lilia’s chin. The gaze looked the shorter man over as he licked his lips. “If it weren’t for the fact you’re so withered by this point, I would take you for my own.” Feeling disgusted-- and insulted--Lilia tried to bite the fingers touching him. Sadly, the other was faster.
The madman laughed at him cheerfully, like he had been told a joke over tea.
“However, I admire that spirit! So, I’ll tell you what;” The fiend was carried away from the fae and towards Lilia’s captured treasures. “since you’ve managed to entertain me well enough, I’ll allow you to take one of your beloveds home. Just one, mind. The other—will belong to me.”
Lilia's eyes blew open, partly from the audacity of this man but mostly from rage, which boiled his blood. How dare he even think about taking what belonged to Lilia?
“Is this all some sick joke to you?” he growled, trying to free an arm so he could punch the other. From the sadistic smile on the villain’s face, that’s exactly what it was.
“Oh, I’m quite serious.” The glass vials holding Silver and Malleus shattered, and the boys dropped. The red vines still bound their forms and dangled them like ornaments from a tree.
“Both are marvelous specimens that any collector would want,” the villain continued as if talking about a painting or a statue.
Heels clicked as the villain stepped down from his throne of flowers. He walked over to the others, first to Malleus.
“The Prince of Briar Valley with the blood of Dragons, descendant from the Witch of Thorns with all her elegance and grace. And most of all, her power.” Lilia snarled, “Don’t touch him!” as the man brushed his hand over Malleus’ face, then ran his fingers through a lock of cold-black hair.
The villain then turned his attention to Silver. Lilia physically hurt himself, attempting to free himself, grinding his teeth so hard it was a miracle they didn't crack.
“On the other hand, this one is quite the prize himself. Fair, noble, kind...And he’s a collector’s item now, isn’t he?” he purred, wrapping his arms around Silver’s form. “Last of his line, after all.” The villain then let out a long, dramatic sigh.
“Ugh! It’s a shame to let either one go when the temptation to have both is so overwhelming--” he drawled, pressing a hand to his lips. He clenched his eyes shut as if the idea of releasing either hurt him. “Nonetheless, as I said, you impressed me. So, I will make the sacrifice and relinquish one of them to you as a reward. One."
He turned to Lilia, a taunting look upon his features. “So? Who will it be? Who will you take home--and who will I keep?”
Lilia stared, a cold feeling rushing through his body as terror filled him. This couldn't be real. He couldn't be serious.
“You… You’re not serious,” he mumbled, a shiver coursing through him. Choose between Malleus and Silver? Both whom he raised from young babes, not even able to walk in the world? Both who he loved and held more dear than anything else?
The mere thought tore his heart in two, more so when he realized that whatever happened next, something was going to be lost.
The man’s eyes narrowed. “I already told you that I am.”
The crimson lotuses grew thicker and tighter around the boys. They gasped in pain, their bodies unable to do anything else. Lilia’s heart beat in panic, his skin becoming a ghostly sheet of white.
“Silver! Malleus!” Lilia wrenched himself forward but was firmly trapped where he was.
The villain dramatically fanned his arms out, holding them to the two on each side as the red flowers bloomed like hellfire. Eyes lit with flame, he bellowed,
“Choose! Choose who you will keep and who you will lose—forever!”
--
Oh dear. I don't Lilia can choose. So it looks like YOU will have to;
Choose wisely.

So I keep forgetting that this dude is 18. I just assumed that he was the same age as Jeremy and working a summer job at OWCA. I think this is because a) look at him and his baby face. B) None of the PnF crew batted an eye when he pretended to be a kid and hung with them. C) Monogram and others often call him kid, and D) in the episode where Perry and Candace switched bodies Carl showed interest in seeing a "teenage girl" until he realized it was Perry. I didn't think a college student would show that much enthusiasm for teen girl as most college boys prefer college girls. But maybe that was just my summer child brain.

Fic: Dead Dove: Do Not Eat!
Antis: *eats it anyways- the whole thing infact*
Antis: ew, I hate eating doves! That's it, I'm tired of eating doves. We must eradicate all doves from existence so that this never happens again
Fic: tf did I just say-
If you feel described by this post (antis), don't interact! It would be so funny to laugh at how stupid you are if you do though.

pro censorship people are always like “actually I’m living proof that books can be really harmful to kids! when I was a child I read a book that upset me and of course I couldn’t talk to my parents about it because they would throw rocks at me whenever I confessed to reading anything but the Bible, so as you can see, that book was the source of my trauma and warped ideas about right and wrong”

I hate... fanon archetypes. You know how people sand down their blorbos to fit into the same handful of incorrect quote templates and then they forget their actual canon personalities because they've gone too long without engaging with the source material? I hate it. I hate it. He would not fucking say that. The joke was slightly funny when it was on the office or whatever but we've all heard it over and over with different characters pasted into it how are you still laughing please let me out

Yeah, those are all good questions! You better have answers Yana, or the fandom will be whining for years!
Answers I want in Book 8; I don't recall if I made this already, but here it goes.
Who is Grim and what's his blessing or curse?
Who cursed him and why?
Who brought Yuu to Twisted Wonderland? (Likely Crowley) And Why?
What's Crowley's deal?
Why did no one question the mirror or the coachman about Yuu?
What's the Mickey connection?
The Ramshackle Mystery. What's its history?
Why is Silver still afflicted with drowsiness? And what age did it kick in? (Silver seemed to be a lively toddler.)
Why all the over blots all the sudden? Is Yuu connected? And why these boys?

Developing A Plot- A Guide For Writers
Tumblr media
⭐ 1. Start with a Core Idea or Conflict
Ask: What is the heart of this story?
A girl overcoming grief after losing her mum?
A kingdom collapsing due to betrayal?
A teen uncovering hidden family secrets (like my Bound & Bloom series- cheeky promo I know)
This central conflict will drive every chapter and character choice.
⭐ 2. Define Your Protagonist’s Goal
What does your main character want above all else?
Example: To find her missing father, to save her family, to prove herself, to feel loved.
Then ask: What is stopping her from getting it?
These obstacles form your plot points.
⭐ 3. Choose a Structure That Suits the Story
Common structures:
Three-Act Structure-
Act I: Set up the world, characters, and inciting incident.
Act II: Rising action, complications, midpoint twist, and lowest point.
Act III: Climax and resolution.
Hero’s Journey (great for fantasy or self-discovery arcs)-
Ordinary world → call to adventure → refusal → mentor → crossing threshold → trials → crisis → reward → return changed.
⭐ 4. Outline Key Plot Points
Write these out roughly:
1. Inciting Incident: What sparks the story into motion?
2. First Turning Point: The choice that changes everything.
3. Midpoint: A revelation or event that deepens stakes.
4. Second Turning Point: Things get worse; character is at their lowest.
5. Climax: Final confrontation with the main conflict.
6. Resolution: Loose ends tied; how has your character changed?
⭐ 5. Raise Stakes Continuously
Each chapter or scene should increase tension.
Ask: What’s the worst that can happen here? Then push it further, realistically.
⭐ 6. Plan Subplots
These deepen the main plot and reveal character layers.
E.g.:
Romance subplot.
A friend’s betrayal.
Hidden family history surfacing.
They should intersect with the main plot rather than being random distractions.
⭐ 7. Know Your Ending Early
You don’t need it fully mapped, but having a rough idea gives direction.
Ask:
Will it be hopeful or tragic?
Does your character get what they wanted or realise they needed something else?
⭐ 8. Let Characters Drive the Plot
Ensure decisions and flaws influence events, rather than relying on coincidence.
⭐ 9. Review Themes
Think about what you want readers to feel or ponder after finishing your book.
Tie your scenes back to this.
⭐ 10. Use Tools
Mind maps for connections.
Beat sheets for scene-by-scene plans.
Chapter summaries before drafting.
