Honami has absolutely walked in on Kanamafu in some... compromising situations. Sure, she finds out about Mafuyu's true self (or at least, a fraction of it), and maybe that starts to shake the image in her head of the 'perfect honor student Asahina-san,' but I don't think that makes it any less jarring to walk into her job only to catch Mafuyu in Kanade's lap getting all up close and personal. I mean, Honami has seen Kanade at her most pathetic, I can't imagine her expecting Kanade to have that level of game. Mafuyu is beautiful, popular, smart, and athletic, the kind of girl who could have whoever she wants, and here she is, absolutely smitten with this tiny little composer who can't even take care of herself. I have to imagine that comes as a bit of a shock (even if Honami is professional enough to probably not let it show).

This is also assuming the worst thing she's ever walked in on is clingy Mafuyu and some cuddle sessions. God help her if she ever walks in on either of them trying out any more of Mizuki's ""advice"".... - K

Thanks for the ask, I'm still in the mood for them haha! I do celebrate Christmas: my favourite part is probably all the decorations and lights. It's such a grey and gloomy time of year where I live, a bunch of bright colours and festive lights are just the thing. My least favourite part is that I always experience a bit of melancholy on or right after Christmas: I think because there's some magical element of it that I remember from childhood but can't recapture. It's still a nice day spent with family, but it always feels like something is missing that will never quite come back. I think it's just part of being a grownup.

As for Yuumori fic...not sure. I think I might do something for the Holmes' boys birthdays in the same verse as Candle In The Window, but anything else will just be if inspiration strikes!

do you think during the winter, Mafuyu and Kanade would steal each other's sweaters despite Kanade's being too small and Mafuyu's too big

maybe instead of Mafuyu sleeping in her own bedroom (aka Kanade's old room) she would sleep in Kanade's bed instead, not just cause it's warmer there but also cause she just likes being around kanade

Kanamafu are 100% that couple that everybody knew was dating before THEY even knew they were dating. Living together, doing the grocery shopping together, holding hands when they're out and about, cuddling constantly, being on the same chair while they work, just the most domestic and in love things you can imagine and they're oblivious. This is why Mizuki, #1 Kanamafu fan, is giving them such helpful ""advice"" to try and get it to finally click. "Mafuyu, you should totally offer to wash Kanade's hair for her! Once Mafuyu accidentally touched Kanade's hair while working together and realised how goshdarn silky and soft it can be

So one time she tries something while they're cuddling and nuzzles the back of Kanade's head, Kanade gets flustered and Mafuyu's curiosity has been satiated.

Mafuyu has not stopped doing that ever since.

Mafuyu giving Kanade a piggyback ride is so precious?? Kanade was fighting for her *life* trying to half-carry Mafuyu back to her home when she was sick, but Mafuyu can return the favor without breaking a sweat. Kanade initially protests needing to be carried, but can't argue with Mafuyu pointing out that her legs are shaking like a newborn deer.

Kanade probably hasn't been carried like that since she was a kid and her parents were. well, you know. Hiding a bittersweet, indulgent little smile against the crook of Mafuyu's neck the whole way home.
