Off Hiatus Post

Hey guys! We're pretty much done with our heavy con season! So, after this weekend (we have family obligations) we will be bringing the blog off of hiatus and answering asks again.

Double D you are just too cute!! On a serious not I have 2 questions for you. 1. What do you prefere to be call or liked to be called? Edd, Eddward or Double D? 2. With all due respect to Eddy, How and why would you fall in love with someone is so mean to you and Ed? I understand he is your best friend and can be sweet sometimes, I just really curious about this. No offense, eddy.

"I suppose it depends on who you are. My parents call me Eddward. Everyone else calls me Double D. Eddy's only ever called me Edd a few times. For lack of a better way to determine Ed and I verbally and for sheer familiarity, I do prefer Double D.

As for why I fell in love with Eddy- Well. I see aspects of him that no one else has the patience to discover. His bark is worse than his bite so to speak. He was and is brutish a fair amount of the time, but the older we became, the more obvious it was that his reasons for his behavior became less of an adolescent obnoxious streak and more of a need for familiar behavioral territory. It also became more obvious when he was lying about doing things from the heart rather than for personal gain. His qualities are rough and deeply hidden, but that doesn't make them any less lovely." - Eddward

"Yes, actually. Once and it was very mind-opening." - Eddward

"I don't wanna talk about it..." -EDDY

"Classical and show tunes would have to be at the top of my list." - Eddward

"Entomologist." - Eddward

Double D, tell me a cute story about you two. I love those little moments. Eddy, you can't comment. (holds up duct tape threateningly)

"Oh my. A cute story? Let me see...Well, actually, the other day I was in a bit of an emotional funk due to my parents having to miss the Cul-De-Sac New Years party. So as we were getting ready, Eddy asked if I could accompany him on an errand before the party started. I agreed and we climbed into his wreck of a truck and he started driving. And then he kept driving. By the time he was done driving, we were in the mountains and the party had already begun. I asked him what he was doing and he just got out of the car and opened my door for me. When I reluctantly climbed out of the car, he put a blanket around my shoulders and lead me to the edge of one of the cliffs. It was a perfect view of our town and you could see every firework that was being set off. It was truly beautiful. We sat there for hours and we even shared our New Years kiss there. So, don't ever let Eddy tell you he's not 'soft', because he really is." - Eddward(glare)"...." - EDDY

So Eddy, do you still try to scam your friends out of money nowadays or did it get old for you?

"Of course I scam those suckers. Ain't nothin' better than cash." - EDDY

Wait, wait, wait...I wanna hear this story. How'd you end up telling your bro? What happened after that, er ... incident when you were 12?

"He caught me sayin' somethin' dirty to Sockhead over the phone and decided to call me a fag and other bad names. What else is there to tell?" - EDDY

"Eddy..." - Eddward

What was the Kankers' reaction when they found out about you two? I bet Lee and Marie are crushed.

"Actually, by the time we came to the realization that we were attracted to one another, Marie had realized an interest in women." - Eddward

"Who cares about Kankers? Lee was kinda mad, though." - EDDY

Eddy, how's your brother? Have you told him about your relationship yet?

"Ugh. My bro's fine, I guess. He hates my relationship, but fuck him, he's a loser anyway." -EDDY
