"Onii-sama!" A toothy grin appeared behind the bars as a hand stretched through, reached out to satisfy the craving of affection and contact of the elder. "I plucked you some flowers - look!"

A hand reached out, briefly hesitating in mid air, before gaining confidence to touch the flowers. Soft to the touch, unlike anything Law has felt.

He accepted them with a gentle smile.

"Someone looks bigger today..." He hummed thoughtfully, alluding to his sister’s growth. It was a rarity to see her, and she seemed bigger every time he did-- a testament to the long periods of time that continuously separated the siblings.

               Never scared? 

              Rocinante is scared of a lot of things -- the bad dreams of the angry villagers beating him up, Doffy and his ‘family’, pain, death. He is scared of all these, he truly is. However, when he started to realize he is all that he could give to the unfortunate Trafalgar siblings -- he forced himself to be brave so that he could protect them. They’re much more important than anything in the world for him and he wanted to protect them with all he could.

               The words unconsciously left his mouth as the blond flashed a gentle smile at the girl.

                         ❝ Because of you two, I feel fearless even if the world turn itself away from me. So Lamy-chan, I hope Law and you would accept the fact I might cling on you two for the rest of my life. Sorry that you have to carry such a heavy burden around for as long as I live. ❞
