Welcome!!!! I hope you enjoy your stay :]
Here you can ask anything your heart desires! Make sure you read the character list to let me know who you're asking so I can go bother them!

Happy WBW! What part of your world would your protagonist (& others if you want) change? Aaaand go! ♥️
In Still Here, probably the part where most of the world has been blown up, flooded or burnt.
So basically just stopping the attacks.
I think they would like millions of people to not have been killed.

Happy WBW! What's the harshest part of your world? Be it a place, a law, something character-created or otherwise, what is just HARSH?
Umm, in Incarnation probably the traffic.
Seems about right

Happy worldbuilding Wednesday!
All of a sudden a swarm of velociraptors have manifested in the WIP you last had open. What do your characters do, and how does the world around them manage the situation?
(Or, if you’d rather, what’s a minor aspect of your worldbuilding that you haven’t had much a chance to talk about, but absolutely adore?)
Thank You For The Ask!
I’m going to do this for Incarnation.
(And yes it has been a while, and yes I haven’t revealed a tonne about it. That’s because I still don’t know. I’m so good at this.)
Immediately I’m imagining Drystan (the protagonist) running and hiding somewhere, probably yelling at Arlo in an attempt to stop him from doing something stupid. Arlo would then be doing the How To Train Your Dragon thing and trying to tame one, by running directly in front of them, while everyone (mainly Drystan) yells at him to stop.
William (Drystan’s older brother) and Elizabeth (William’s girlfriend) would both be hiding, but somewhere they can take full advantage of the situation from so either somewhere with a really good view or something like a bakery that’s been abandoned by the workers and they can help themselves to free goodies while they watch the show.
Brenda (the antagonist?) would be trying to find a way to use this to her advantage (ooh unrevealed motive, that I’m not going to reveal. sorry not sorry), quite possibly by kidnapping them and doing *totally ethical things*.
Honestly for the world itself, once someone (maybe even Arlo) managed to calm them down then everything would kind off become normal again. Just with some people having velociraptors as pets. Totally normal.

Happy STS! Which character would absolutely love to meet? Which character do you never ever want to run into?
Within the context of Still Here
I would love to meet both Kayla and Xia. There both would be quite nice people (when the world isn’t being destroyed)
And well I would rather not meet Imani, she’s a little too self centred and isn’t afraid to tell people exactly what she thinks she deserves. And those are the kind of people that get me quite a bit annoyed
Although I can’t exactly imagine meeting any of them would go well

Happy WBW! A nature-related question today: what do the seasons of your world look like? Does the temperature change? Do leaves or leaf-fill-ins change color and fall? Does the ground turn over and hibernate?
Well in Still Here, it’s mostly like the real world, real world Australia. Expect for the aftermath of explosions and fires. So warmer than it should be but seasons are still followed. There is a good bit of smoke though
So no snow, and no leaves changing colour because that’s not how Australia works (except for snow is some specific location)

where do you get your writing inspiration from?
Honesty that isn’t exactly something I can answer easily.
Sometimes I want to sit down and write but I don’t actually know what to write. So often I will look for prompts and see what comes out of that. So I guess you could say some days I make myself write.
Sometimes I want to write and I don’t know what but the words just start following and it develops as I write. Often then where I started is not where I ended. This also tends to be based on my mood quite a bit (I tend to write more sad things when I’m sad for example. Though I also turn to writing in those moments to try and cheer myself up.)
Other times I have this idea in my head that I want to try and put down. Sometimes this is a setting, and then the writing itself might gain a character. Or I have a character or world building idea and I see where that leads me.
