HYDRA had always been aware of the mutants, even had some on their side as agents. Yet while HYDRA supported the belief that mutants were genetically superior, the ones in power was and always will be, human. So as their numbers grew, so did those that fell prey to Azra’il, transforming into yet another one of their interchangeable Dolls. And Vuhs? He kept up his façade of being human. 

Still, he received an invitation to one of Hellfire Club’s exclusive parties. As a director of HYDRA which had other casual members in the club, it was a given that he would be eventually invited, however unfriendly his faction was to the mutants. The law of the jungle seemed to be understood, and Vuhs had the power and ability to control those mutants. 

Dressed in his usual all black suit for the party, Vuhs kept a low profile by the outskirts of the other HYDRA members, not interested in what they had to say. Instead he sipped on champagne and scanned the crowd, being new to the occasion, to see if he recognized anyone. Noticing a lady coming their way - and vaguely recalling she was the Red Queen named Fana, according to HYDRA documents, his eye caught sight of the man beside her. It wasn’t intentional, but something about him just held his attention. An unknown emotion stirred in his chest and he dropped his gaze to avoid being noticed, confused by his own reaction.

“You promised you’d be my dance partner if I couldn’t find one. And of course you should dress for the occasion.” Thor replied sternly, having been the one to arrange Algrim’s outfit and style. Theme of the party was spring, so naturally the elf had to have flowers in his hair, teased and tied up in an elaborate half-do. The robes too, were sheer and floral, to match his own crystalline dress armor. It wasn’t that Algrim was the only one with flowers in his hair though, so did Thor. 

And Thor thought Algrim looked lovely out of his usual garments.

Random Headcanon Meme!

⍤ : What does your muse’s voice sound like? Is it light? High pitched? Scratchy? Deep?

I’ve never really thought about this in detail, but I’ve always thought it’s light, with a little lilt in his voice. It’s also smooth and soothing to hear. He can growl though aha.

The closest I can find is Tartaglia from Genshin Impact atm. A broader range of his voice would be the Voice Actor Griffin Burns for Tartaglia.

☼ : Does your muse like daytime or nighttime more?

Lise loves wee mornings (unlike me) He loves the coolness of the morning air, the dim brightness in the sky and the creeping warmth. He loves morning breezes. 

He prefers it over evening/sunset because he gets sleepy at that time instead.

❤ : What are your muse’s thoughts on love? If they are not in a relationship, do they believe that they will ever find a perfect someone for them?

He’s a dramatic romantic, the kind that will likely sacrifice everything for the person he loves. For him, he doesn’t see it as an obligation or a must for the person he fell for to love him back - though of course that would still hurt him. Likewise, he responds to love from another person in the same way - he’s fair emotional wise.

And of course he believes he’d find that perfect someone eventually.

Swordplay

Send ‘ Swordplay ’ for my muse to pin yours to the ground while fighting/sparring

All work and no play made for a very chaotic and frustrated Loki. As soon as Vuhs came out of his researching fever and realised that, he decided to surprise the Asgardian by bringing him to the training hall instead of the lab this morning.

And although he was not the best at close combat, Vuhs trusted no one else to be the god's partner. Plus he thought the other might find it offensive to spar off one of the Dolls. Hence, though Vuhs wouldn't admit it, it took all of his focus and patience calculating Loki's moves to counter them, and by stroke of luck flipped on the Asgardian to pin him down after they tumbled together.

Breathing in deep, controlled breaths, his silver eyes held those emeralds. "Now, is this enough exercise or do you want some more?"

Never has Vuhs seen Algrim in such a poor state. 

The elder elf has always been pristine and poised, well dignified and self assured. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what could have happened to lead to such a scene, his first thought flying to the Accursed. After all, in his opinion, only that one person who was above the advisor could have done such a thing. Vuhs hurried to Algrim’s side, wanting to make sure the elf was not more injured anywhere. “What happened?” He asked, moving to get ointment for those bruises, flustered despite trying to keep himself calm enough to assess the situation.

Send me ⚠ to find my muse at the end of a trail of blood.

Blood scattered about the ground, drops over dead leaves, streaks on shrub branches and small puddles of footprints. Some white fur could be found stained with blood fallen in clumps here and there. It had just rained, but the smell of blood was still fresh in the air. Soft growls and sounds of flesh tearing could be heard further ahead.

It wasn't his fault. They attacked him first. The two older elves chased him out from the gardens and hunted him through the woods. Their weapons were cruel, with spikes embedded in their clubs. The little fox ran- but he still got hurt. It was so painful.

It got so painful, he didn't know what happened next. By the time he became aware, he was tearing away at the guts of an elf, snout dug deep into that chest cavity, fangs around a squishy heart. He didn't know where the other elf went, naturally biting down on the heart in his mouth, chewing. His ears caught sound of Algrim calling and the sound of rustling bushes behind him drew his attention from eating.

He looked up behind him, seeing his guardian and mentor. Vaguely, he thought he should stop eating. But he was so hungry. Another bite and he swallowed the heart in his mouth, not realizing his wounds rapidly healing.

morning after starters

This was... unexpected. Vuhs stared at the god next to him, recalling how things ended up like this. They had been arguing over a particular formula of magic being put in a device for constant use. It went from its chances of success to its usefulness, and things... things just got heated. Collars were grabbed and one thing led to another...

They had kissed and fought for dominance - almost childishly - from the lab to the elevator, and then to... Loki’s bedroom. It was as if whoever won would have to listen to the other. And Vuhs lost. Though he knew, he hadn’t quite expect the god to be as strong or as fierce as last night, forcing him to bring out inhuman stamina just to keep up. The love bites and marks Loki left on his skin were long gone by the time he woke, and he was now reeling from the realization that he had not been conscious nor wary enough to keep up his pretense of being human. Something that had never happened with human partners.

And the mere idea that he had just let himself go and got on Loki’s bed... that Loki got him moaning and melting under him... 

Pride made the director flush from embarrassment at his recollection of last night’s events, his poker face cracking, before he stiffly moved his gaze away and slowly brought up the quilt to cover over his head.

Lise took the elder into his arms, holding him protectively. He had heard what the Accursed yelled at Algrim, knowing how much effort his beloved had put into the task given to him that had gone to waste. His hand patted down Algrim’s back, trying to offer what comfort he could. The younger knew how harsh the Accursed could be when he wanted to, and how much fear and respect Algrim had for Malekith. The judgement given earlier was devastating. And he could not defend him. Lise bit his bottom lip, his embrace tightening.

He had just finished one dance, and to his humbled delight, he took this action from Algrim to be approval.

Looping his arms around Algrim’s shoulders, he traced a finger down the elf’s lips. “Was it good?” He still asked, entangling his legs with the elf’s while his toes rubbed along Algrim’s calf.

Lise is more affectionate on the regular than Algrim - we all know why xD All the snuggles and acting cutes~

Lise does, whenever he feels a little lonely but he'd be careful when they're in public.

Algrim because Lise is too carefree to be bothered and sometimes too callous with himself.

Oooooh this one's difficult. With Vuhs, they'd probably both be stubborn. Perhaps only those with sweet Lise verses will Lise be the one that seeks help.

Algrim. Lise has eidetic memory and can pretty much remember where in the chaos his things are.

Who leaves little love notes for the other?

Lise, since he likes to surprise Algrim. Algrim when Lise is sick or down though.

Algrim. Lise can pretty much sleep about anywhere, even if he misses someone. He's a sleepyhead.

Algrim. Lise's past with romance leaves him with little confidence to initiate, as long as he can maintain what they have.

Who introduced the other to their family first?

Algrim. The only one Lise would probably introduce would be his mother but he can't find his mum / even in verses where his mum is around, he's worried she'd frighten his potential partner away.

Who is more likely to play with the other’s hair?

Lise. He loves Algrim's hair, not just because it's white like his, but also how pretty it looks on Algrim. He'd love to make his partner pretty.

Who makes sure the other has meals/stays hydrated?

It's mutual. Lise forgets when he gets too absorbed into something and Algrim is too busy with work on a day to day basis. They seem to only care about feeding each other and not themselves.

Who is more likely to stand up to anyone for the other?

Again this is mutual. But in Svartalfheim though, Lise would probably be more of a problem than help so he'd probably get stopped by Algrim.

Who is the most likely to prepare a surprise for the other?

Lise does it more often, but when Algrim does it, it's a BIIIIGGGG surprise.

Who makes the other pinky promise not to do certain things?

Lise cause he's too childish like that.

Who puts a blanket over the other when they fall asleep on the couch?

Swordplay

Send ‘ Swordplay ’ for my muse to pin yours to the ground while fighting/sparring

It took days of training to undo the skittishness of the fox, a process much unenjoyed by Vuhs as he tried to stay in close quarters while they sparred. Algrim was not a lenient teacher and the director's anxiety was off the roof, with the hairs on his neck standing on end for the Nines know how long.

Determined to end today's torturous training, Vuhs took his chance to sweeping his mentor off his feet and pouncing right on top of him, blade crashing down against Algrim's as he brought it to his neck. Panting, eyes bright with excitement, Vuhs couldn't help but smirk for the first time pinning the dark elf down.

"I say, this is enough for today?"
