Am I a bad person for not liking Laurel. I’ve been reading your legacy for a while, and while some of your heiresses have made decisions where I���m like really? but I eventually ended up liking, I just idk Laurel bugs me. I’m willing to see if she matures more as a young adult, but gah she’s just so selfish and making bad decisions! I want to like her so bad. I keep telling myself this is just the beginning for her, but that could be a good or bad thing lol As always love your legacy!

You’re right, she is young and making very poor decisions, but, hopefully, she will get her comeuppance, because she has not treated Melody correctly at all. I hope that Laurel will grow on you too, but thank you for following my Homily heiresses and sticking with them through their poor decision making 🤣💕

I feel bad for Melody. I don’t think Laurel cares that much about her romantically. To me she just seemed excited at the opportunity to have sex. She’ll always care about Luke more. She should let Melody go, so Melody can find someone that actually cares about her and isn’t just using her as a distraction/to wait for the real person they want to be single.

I agree Laurel is currently being a very bad girlfriend, Melody definitely deserves better, but how long will it take her to realise that that’s the case?

Do you have any advice for starting and playing a legacy challenge and how do you decide when and where to use poses for your pictures? I love when you do :)

Hello, when it comes to starting a legacy I think it’s personal preference about playing style. Do you want to just do gameplay or do you want lots of posed scenes with a heavy storyline or something in between, which is what I do. I prefer large households, and no real set gameplay rules so that I can play how I want to. But there are lots of challenges which set goals to achieve each generation or rules and restrictions, things you can add each generation. I would have a think about how you want to play and what you enjoy and then have a browse through a list of legacy challenges and see what takes your fancy. And don’t be afraid to change things up halfway through :) 

When it comes to me deciding when to use poses, it tends to be on screenshots I want to make more of an impact, or scenes I’d planned in advance and have a clear idea of what I want them to look like and I know that the in-game interactions  won’t be able to achieve :)

I don’t use a mod. I use these eye defaults, which come with a heterochromia overlay :)

Yes, he did! I left his fate to MCCC and he ended up married to Penny Pizzazz! They had a couple of children too I think. My game glitched and I had to start a new save, so he’s lost to me now, but I like to think he had a good life!

I've been reading your legacy since beginning of Gen 5 and it feels so weird to be starting Gen 7! Such a good story, I can't wait to see Laurel's mark on the world.

Not sure if this is the same anon or if several people are wondering this. 

I had never intended for there to be any relationship between Jake and Marianne, she was always just going to be Jake’s friend. 

The character is based on my actual friend, who is a notorious flirt, so I don’t know if because she is based pretty closely off a real person she became more alive and stood out a little more, was perhaps less two dimensional, lol! But she truly was always just intended to be a friend. 

It’s like the same thing that happened with Elizabeth and Elsa, everyone wanted them together, but they too were just close friends.

have you ever had an issues with houses you've downloaded from the gallery? I've never had this problem before and I wanted to see if any other Sims players have. when in gameplay mode the fully furnished house I downloaded disappears and I can't go upstairs, downstairs or open and close my walls. what do I do? :(

Hey, sorry, I haven’t experienced that and most of my houses I use are from the gallery. 

I’m not sure what to suggest, is it happening with just that one house or all of them?

I’ve just uploaded it to the gallery, my name is simaroosims. It’s called Gen 5 house. There is quite a lot of CC in there, but I’ve recently culled a lot of my cc, so I sadly can’t link any of it. But the bare bones will be there :)
