Hello, tag lurkers & followers. Today, it's with a heavy heart I have to announce the closure of AskStoryKids-HQ.

For now, we don't see it as a permanent closure. It's simply overall for the best, as the mental health of the mod team has suffered greatly in the past few months, and we haven't been able to provide our members with our best, which no one deserves.

Hopefully, this isn't the end. So this isn't a goodbye. See ya real soon, pals.

Lottie may never have become a princess, but she did become the next best thing: a mother! A mother to a darling little baby girl and she loves to smithereens and back, one might add! Bernadette “Bennie” La Bouff is everything her mother ever could have asked for and more–a bright, vivacious, spunky little chip off the old block, to the point where even Big Daddy sometimes calls little Bennie Lottie.

A long-time resident of Auradon, Bennie’s been attending Auradon Prep for the past several years, rubbin’ elbows with real princes and princesses just like her mama always wanted to! Though a middling, often unmotivated student, Bennie loves nothing more than baking, a good party, or a chance to show off the latest gossip.

Despite the safety of her upbringing, the presence and avoidance of evil and wrongdoing was taught to Bennie early on, giving her a straight spine and nerves of steel. She is a force to be reckoned with when angry–or excited–or in any passionate state, really.

All in all, Bennie is really just looking to get the most out of life–the most fun, that is!

Mackenzie hummed to herself, scrolling through messages from her nod. Devon had gone antiquing with Charlie and their siblings to find things to decorate the new house. She smiled softly, wrinkling her nose when she scrolled past a picture of an old painting. She hadn’t liked it at all. It looked creepy.

The oracle’s eyes shimmered gold, glowing slightly. Sprinklers? Sprinklers. She shook her head, blinking away the glow. “The sprinklers are about to turn on,” she instinctively blurted out. She looked around. Thankfully the courtyard seemed empty other than herself. So why...?

Mackenzie froze and stared at a person who had been standing close enough to hear her. Shit. “Uh... My mom works here. So-So I know the schedule.” She cleared her throat. “Sorry. We should get somewhere to stay dry.”

Now, if you're not in our Discord server, you probably don't know I've been working my sad ass off all day on today's 5-year anniversary gifts and surprises. If you're in our server, I love you guys more than anything and I appreciate your patience with me.

hi! i’m thinking about joining but it’s been so long since i’ve done tumblr rp, how’s the activity like?

Anon, I'm not gonna beat around the bush on this one. Our activity is occasionally pretty semi-spotty. Some are super active (myself, Furby, Rory, and El!) and some of us are on basically permanent hiatus (Kat & Mod Elsa)-- and even those of us who are super active (this one's mostly me) have rough patches of inactivity.

We don't keep a check on activity because we're a very small group, more of a family unit, and we've been together as a unit for such a long time that we're very understanding of outside situations/life getting in the way. This group is very chilled out/go with the flow about activity so there's no pressure to write when you're not feeling it.

What, you didn’t think I’d forgotten, did you?

To say we knew what we were doing when we started talking about this...

...well, it’d probably be a lie.

Four years later, here we still are. Still kicking, it would seem. It’s crazy to think we’re here, even after all this time, through all these changes. I for one am proud of the creativity we’ve had on display in this group, and I love each and every one of you guys in the group to this day. We wouldn’t be here without you and I can’t imagine life without you guys.

Four years together have seen some shifts and changes in the appearance of the group, that much is true. We’ve been together through hell and back, multiple times. And yet, here we still are today. We may be small, but we’ve got heart & perseverance that far outlasted our origins!

Happy 4-year anniversary, ASKHQ, and here’s to many more.
