I still find so weird and disgusting Kique's decision of letting Diarko being raised in the meteor tribe, and Diarko not giving a fuck of being separated from his mother.

Kique, babygirl, lemme repeat something to you that every sane artist knows at the very beginning of their artistic journey, because it's fucking common sense for most:

You cannot own a pose

You cannot own an colour palette

You cannot own an artstyle

"Style trace" is not a thing. "Canine with saber teeth" is not a concept you own. (And just a sidenote. I love how he, the King of Theft and Tracing, is now complaining somebody else is "stealing" from him.) You cannot copyright a style for the same reason you cannot copyright a colour, an idea, a concept, a musical note, a name, because those are free, abstract, widely ranging concepts that stem from pure thought and creativity and therefore cannot be owned by anyone. I cannot believe I'm telling this to someone who's in his 30s and has been an artist for nearly two decades, but here we are, I guess.

Please, stop embarrassing yourself with this ridiculous callout. You're not even grasping at straws, you're grasping at thin air in hopes you'll eventually grab a blade or two. Anything this callout is proving is what kind of a petty idiot you are. For the love of God, stop with this nonsense and save yourself the little bit of dignity you still have left

Do I owe him?

I've been sitting here thinking about the whole "she owes me bla bla bla" and just reflecting on everything.

Is his statement even fair to me in the slightest? After everything I've done for him through the years without any form of compensation -

1. Comic outfit designing - I would make him outfits for his characters. Maybe they won't be drawn in the comic exactly as I drew and designed them, but it was work done for him nontheless.

2. Helping out with drawing/sketching pages - Many times through my time with Kique, I would be asked to help out with either anatomy or figuring out how the page should look.

3. Helping him out with dialogue - I would often rewite his pages, adding/removing/changing text to make it sound and flow better.

This happened more than a handful of times, and he would even let me go into the script and write entire scenes that you've seen currently in the comic.

4. Colorblocking and coloring characters - On over an entire chapter's worth of pages, I have done the colorblocking and coloring of some of the characters. On one page in particular, I colored every panel except 1 and only got a singular thank you in return.

5. Edited his speedpaints - There is a reason why you don't see many speedpaints from him anymore. They were edited by me.

6. Patreon rewards - When Kique's tablet stopped working for whatever reason, I offered to do his design requests for the month. I did not get compensation for this.

7. Comicfury moderator - I think this one speaks for itself. It was a fulltime job checking comicfury every morning and night and making sure none of the stuff Kique didn't want to see didn't pass through.

8. Gave his dog Kargo at home vet care - He knows my history as a vet tech and later on vet assistant. Instead of listening to me when I recommended seeing the vet to get appropriate medications, he wanted me to treat him at home so he didn't have to call the vet and be out in public. Read my document for images of this and more info.

9. Cleaned his workspace - As much as he doesn't want to admit or realize this, I would go around the apartment every night when he went to the bathroom to get ready for bed picking up empty bottles and putting his dishes in the sink + throwing away wrappers from various snacks.

Do I really owe him anything?

This is ridiculous.

(I've never been on Tumblr before, so my apologies. I have no idea how to use this platform.)

I've been a silent fan of this comic for about 4-5 years now, and for a long time, I chose not to reveal my existence. I was around 15 when I first got into it and started reading. But after seeing the new pages that have been leaked under this hashtag, I don’t know what to say or think. I feel like my time following this comic and its artist is coming to an end.

I admit that, back then, I was one of the people who leaked pages. That’s the main reason Kiq started putting copyright watermarks all over his pages on ComicFury. But I didn’t want to get into trouble, so I deleted the shit.

Now, after years of denial, I have to admit- this comic is garbage. Characters are killed off for no reason, and the writing is so poor that there's no emotional weight or impact when a character dies. It feels pointless, like the character never even existed in the first place. This is not how you write a story. How are readers supposed to feel pain when the comic itself doesn’t depict any? It just doesn’t make sense.

I’m very sensitive when it comes to character portrayal, and Kiq is definitely not doing it right. I love these characters, but not their creator. I have to say, when Kiq had his girlfriend, at least some things made sense, but now? Everything feels rushed and emotionless. It’s as if nothing really happened for hundreds of pages, and then suddenly, everything is happening at once.

That wouldn’t be such a big issue if it were written and illustrated properly. But we get a total of maybe 5-6 pages for the big fights, after waiting 300-500 pages for them to even begin. And what about the supposed "main characters" who are barely even shown, just mentioned in passing? Like, what the actual bone is going on in this comic? How can someone be a main character when they’re not even in the damn story?

So I don’t understand why Kiq acts surprised when people leave or turn against him. Readers have to criticize things when they make no sense at all. This kind of storytelling completely ruins both the plot and the characters’ personalities and purpose- and it’s damaging his reputation as an author. He should know that he bears the responsibility for the way his comic is received. If this continues, more people will leave. And not just a few, but many.

I’m not going to get into the personal drama, because I don’t know the full story of what happened between him and his staff and ex-staff members.

I just wanted to finally say something after years of silence and no contact with anyone who follows or knows this comic. ​

The one character in Home that deserved the spotlight.

Ladies and gentlemen.. Akleja

Not many really touch on Akleja, but thinking about it now, Kique should have given her the spotlight and given us more with her.

Think about it, she is the first female of the Meteor Tribe era that is born, literally free.

Akleja is the result of a new era of the ( at the time ) Meteor Tribe. She doesn’t have to live the horrid experience her mother and other female tribe mates had to endure. A good writer would have taken this opportunity for us to follow her along, on her journey.

Hell, Kique could have written some female tribe mates to even be jealous of Akleja, because of her born freedom. But sadly, we do not get much about her. Kique literally does not give a single damn so much so of Akleja, that she is pretty much an adult by the time you really get to see her. Bit upsetting right?

Kique could have really made a nice, flowing side plot line following Akleja, instead of a fat majority of the characters we’re forced to follow now.

Akleja could have been shown struggling in the tribe, over the jealous females; or even males! Or, if you’d like to follow a more positive side, you could have her living a fruitful life with the females and have some underlying hatred for the males.

Unfortunately though, Akleja is victim of Kiques one personality fits all characters. Aside from this, Kique missed a huge opportunity with her. It’s quite sad to see her brushed under the rug, even though she is a first generation FREED MT female.

Why you may ask? don't know but their is speculations and theories I can put up.

He is losing Patreon by the day and needs relevancy and traffic.

He was reported on Patreon because it goes against Patreons TOS of NSFW content and now he has to find somewhere else to draw attention to him.

Its a place where people are less likely to know him and not get reticule/backlash. Cause its literally feral animals fucking with human Genitals . NSFW is already a sticky slope on a very thin line of what's appropriate to concerning. it's already weird he does the pages and poses as though its hentai/Pornhub. and trust you'll know when you see them.

Patreon subscribers are just not into the NSFW content ( Shocker I know ) not surprised. he had bonus pages and stuff showing worldbuild content. when he started getting more patreons from making NSFW Sentient feral content is when he abandoned his promise.

He is not producing in the rate that he usually does. he's been pumping and dumping pages left and right, now its staggering and losing fumes. Its like giving someone water everyday and then slowly ceasing giving them water. if there is no water their, people is going to migrate elsewhere or die of dehydration.

Deadbeat Chris and Kique decide its an idea to upload what is ' one of the most ' controversy ' up to the public. after all they literally the only ones to rely on each other since one left everything in disarray from their wife and tried to steal money to do that while the other pulling the strings and want a drama filled world. both not right in the head but are also not the brightest ( his close knights may have also suggested it as well though really didn't think it through ).

I have more but these are the one's that popped up. And the fact he didn't do it because it was iffy from both DA and Comicfurry, and ADDING THAT HE STARTED POSTING ASMUNDR UP TOO!!???.

These characters are at least 5 years old. They are very old and very important to me. Nostalgic moment haha!

A long time ago, I was interested in the comic Asmundr — a story about dogs who fought with spears, communicated with spirits and created tribes (packs). The comic was original and creative. I still follow of the comic, but the story... It's getting worse :(

Most readers are waiting for the end of Asmundr. The comic has stopped being interesting.

However, my characters no longer have anything to do with the Asmundr, I created another universe for them. But more on that later, if you're interested 🔥🔥🔥

Yep. I wish I could say I was surpised at this, but something like this happened so many times in the comic already that I don't even raise an eyebrow at that anymore.

I only skimmed the comments but Pralig (ew) and Kique's excuses seem to mostly boil down to "they lost their ability to smell" which...like...I wouldn't mind as much as a reason if it was like that many times before

Just from the top of my head, their noses worked when:

Roamer sniffed Kargo and Ferah's destroyed hut and figured out the Meteors took them/destroyed it

when Roamer ruined Ferah's coat and tried to create a fake smell trail to throw the Meteors off. He even peed in a creek to hide his own smell

the "their smell should still be present on my coat" stunt Rogio pulled to get Roamer to trust him about being Kargo and Farah's friend

When Rhovanion tracked Jahla's scent all the way to Stormeki Enclave and then followed Roamer's all the way down to Midnightgarde when he lost her

Vigr proposed to Ronja and Rogio to use Rogio's smell to lure Ranach away from their tribe

when Ranach supposedly smelled Kargo and Farah after they returned to the Meteor Tribe

And these are just the instances I remember as someone who has not read through the comic for over three years and as someone who only skims the pages. I'm sure there's more

You see, like you said, if this ability seemingly didn't only work when it's plot convenient, I woudn't have minded much if it was a thing. I think it'd be stupid, but if it was at least stablished before, I wouldn't see it as much of an issue. What I see as an issue is when Kique's terrible writing comes to bite him in the ass about things (Rhov not smelling Jahla at the Capital, Ranach not smelling Rogio but smelling Kargo (?????) the Meteors not tracking down The GangTM after their first escape, Ronja not smelling Jahla at the Tinget, etc. etc.) and instead of admitting it's his own shortcommings, he bends over backwards trying to explain bullshit like this.

Do you even know how powerful a dog's sense of smell is? Dogs can smell you from several miles away. They can smelll it on things YEARS after you haven't touched them. They can detect smells that are covered up by other smells or weakened by obstacles like snow or mud or leaves. Even the famous trick of tracking through water doesn't work on many breeds, the Mythbusters literally had an episode about this. And while losing a biological ability over time is just how evolution works, it takes millions of years for this to happen, the dogs on Aedra had 30.

NO SCENT/NOT IRL DOGS: PG 902

I normally don't bother with the comments since the media literacy of the people that post on Comic Fury is abysmal. But this caught my attention and I had to laugh.

Since this comes from the creators themselves I just want to point out the fucking irony here. They are quick to squash any meaningful discussion about a plot hole that is so apparent to the average reader. The dogs, as pointed out by one of their readers could DEFINITELY scent just fine in the earlier chapters of home. An example is Roamer using a cloth to "paint" Ferah's scent to throw off the MT persuers after Kargo killed Savas or Ranach knowing Ferah and Kargo returned to the MT after Kargo killed the Solar Stag merchants. The reason why the scent can't work here, is because that means precious Ranach can't be the hero Kique is painting him out to be.

Can you imagine how tweeked out he would be around Iberion if he realize the dog Ranach was picturing when they were fucking was still alive? Oh and also it's his brother....let's not open that can of worms.

One thing that drives me crazy about the commenters on Comic Fury is how they will just defend Kique’s shit storytelling. You don't smell fucking fire, you smell smoke when something is on fire. If something isn't on fire, yeah, it's going to still have a scent. Mother of God, the education system is failing kids.
