idk maybe it’s just me but i’m a bit annoyed that so many prompts on whumpblr need to have a whumper in them. don’t get me wrong, i get the appeal and i do like whump with whumpers in it sometimes but there’s so much you can do without one and it feels like most people just ignore it

#probably an unpopular opinion #whumpers are never as interesting to me as the whumpees and caretakers #i also feel like the over-the-top cruelness people usually write whumpers with is hard to take seriously #like they always have some snarky sadistic line that makes them feel so artificial #at that point they might as well twirl their moustache and… idk tie a damsel in distress onto a railroad track #i suppose i’m expecting a bit much from prompts/drabbles but idk #but more power to you if you love whumpers #whumpblr #also sorry for almost never posting and when i do it’s this ^^;#it’s just something that’s been on my mind a bit
