Maybe Anne and Sasha wake up, realizing that Marcy hasn't fallen asleep. They will pull her down into the sheets, and with her girls next to her, their warmth soaking through her bones, she will eventually drift into a pleasantly dreamless sleep. 

Or maybe Heart and Strength will stay unaware, and the shattered remains of Wit will be left alone with their screeching thoughts, leftovers like tablescraps from the poisoned feast of the Core. Maybe the Host won't sleep until dawn, and their mind will be plagued by nightmares when they do.
