Sometimes I think about how easily devotion can turn to obsession... How easily a desire to protect can be twisted... How quickly love can become the foundation for evil.
Azar has killed before in their official lore, in defense of their family, and I've realized that, as healthy as Azar and Nova's relationship is, it could be very toxic if Azar's devotion was any stronger. Nova is their world, their everything, and Azar would sacrifice the world for Nova.
Just very interesting to imagine Azar as a villain, especially because they so would be one if someone killed Nova.

How long has it been since Alhaitham has been waiting outside of Bimarstan?
He couldn’t recall, but neither did he care about that. What he cares more is what’s happening inside the hospital where you’re currently treated.
As soon as Alhaitham’s done with his part on the mission, he didn’t waste any time to start looking for you, his heart beating faster than ever from his worries of what the Akademiya has done to you.
Whatever they did, he hoped that you were okay.
With the help of Cyno and some of his friends, he managed to find out that you’re located in the desert, but not in a state he had hoped he’d find you in.
It took him two days until he finally found you in an abandoned hospital, only to see you standing in the middle of the room with a hollow look on your face, surrounded by fallen eremites and other people who are working for Azar–
Not to mention.. A vision in your hand, one that holds the symbol of anemo.
What happened?
Alhaitham paid no mind to the unconscious bodies on the ground, his focus is on you – who remains unaware that you have other company besides your captors.
“...( Name )?” He cautiously called out.
You immediately turn around when you heard a familiar voice, only for your eyes to widen at the sight of your lover standing not too far away from you, his weapon in hand–
Oh gods, what have you done?
It begins to dawn on you when you realize what you just did, causing you to start breathing heavily. “I… I didn’t mean to–” You look down at your shaking hands with wide eyes, “I didn’t mean to knock them– th-they tried to take me away, to some… to some guy who goes by the Doctor and I-I was so scared, I was freaking out and, and one of them was about to hit me and suddenly everyone’s jus–”
You find yourself falling onto your knees with a sob, the fear and anxiety you tried to hide for the past two days as you were pushed and dragged through the sand and heat slowly started to come out in the open.
“I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m sorry” were all the words you could muster at the moment, not noticing how Alhaitham starts walking towards you.
It was only when you felt something warm beginning to wrap around you when you realized your lover’s hugging you in a comfort embrace, causing you to let out a shaky gasp.
“I don’t care what you did to them,” Alhaitham tells you, his heart shattering at the sight of you being frightened with yourself, “I’m just glad you’re okay now. You’re safe, ( Name ).”
He closes his eyes shut, not intending to let you go just yet. “I’m… I’m sorry for everything. I’m sorry for leaving you. I regretted leaving you out of the dark with what I was doing and… I just wanted to keep you safe, but it seems it only made things dangerous for you instead.”
You couldn’t help but be taken back from how his words sounded so sincere, so genuine – you knew how your lover is with these kinds of things, so you knew just how much he means it when he apologized.
You couldn’t help but break into tears.
“It hurts so much…” You hiccuped, hugging him back as you sob. “I thought… I thought I did something wrong that made you–”
Your breath hitches when he holds onto you tighter. “This is never your fault. It’s mine alone for never considering how this would affect us badly. You’ve been nothing but an amazing person in my life and I took it for granted.” He said, angrier with his foolish self for making you feel this way for all this time.
“I… When I found out that they took you, I felt like I.. I’ve...” He struggles to find the right words to tell you just how scared he was when he found out about you being held captive by the Akademiya.
He relaxes when you start moving your arms around him. “I know..” You whispered reassuringly, as though you read his mind. “Just take me back, ‘Haitham.”
“Mr. Alhaitham?” Alhaitham’s thoughts are cut away when he hears the familiar voice of the doctor who took charge of healing you, causing him to stand up when he sees him walking out from the door.
“How’s ( Name )?” The scribe asks.
“They’re doing well. They just need more food, water, and plenty of rest and they’ll be okay. Though, we need to keep them under our watch for the rest of the week to check up on their major injuries now and then.” Zakariya then let out a sigh. “I just can’t believe their captors are heartless enough to not feed them well, not to mention the injuries inflicted on them. It was fortunate enough that you’re able to find them before things could’ve gone worse for your lover.”
Alhaitham’s heart feels broken once more when he hears about your condition, making him all the more angry that he wasn’t fast enough to find you (and the fact that Azar and his pathetic followers’ punishments aren’t enough).
“May I visit them now?” He asks.
The doctor nods in response. “I believe so. They were looking for you when they woke up.”
That was enough for Alhaitham to immediately come inside the hospital (not without thanking Zakariya, of course) and visit you, bringing your favorite meal that he made beforehand as well as flowers.
It reminded him of back when he was on his way to take you out on your first date together, with him always fixing his outfit (despite the fact that you’ve seen him wear it everyday) and checking if he has everything – as though he was a bit nervous.
By the time he eventually arrives to where you are, you notice his presence immediately, causing you to turn away from the view of your window and look at your lover.
The two of you stare at each other in silence, not knowing what to say.
Alhaitham decides to break the silence. “...How are you?”
“...Never been better, I suppose.” You respond quietly, looking down at your hands. “I mean, my lover’s finally talking to me after so long and I’m no longer blind and tied up for two days straight; not to mention how I didn’t kill anyone when I received my vision so… that’s good.” He winces from your words.
You then look up to where he is. “I can’t… forgive you so easily for what you’ve done as much as it sounds selfish of me.” You confessed.
Alhaitham shakes his head. “No, it’s alright. I expected you to not forgive me straight away.” He says reassuringly. “All I ask is if you could give me a chance to make everything up. Let me make up for the time we lost.”
You frowned. “Then what? Will you suddenly get busy again and ignore me for the next few months? A year maybe?”
“I won’t repeat what happened last time.” He said. “Not when it almost cost me to lose you.”
Your eyes soften. “I’m too scared to take the risk and experience the same thing all over again.” Deep down, you were touched when you heard from your nurse that your lover did everything he could to find you and get you back, as well as how he waited for a long long time until he was allowed to come inside the hospital and see you again – without reading a book even.
But you knew that you can’t just let what he did slide so easily.
“Trust me. Just one last time.” Alhaitham asks, almost in a desperate way. “If I mess up again, and I’ll make sure I won’t, then you can leave me.” He wanted to come closer to you, to sit down on the edge of the bed and place his hands on your wrapped hands in a reassuring way, but he didn’t want to overstep your boundaries. “If you still want to leave me without a chance, then that’s alright.”
You quietly think about what to do. As much as you’re heartbroken that your lover had ignored you for such a long time, you still unfortunately love that man, but you can’t forgive him just yet.
You let out a sigh. “I’ll give you one month to make it all up to me, then I’ll decide if I leave.” You said, causing his shoulders to relax.
“I won’t let you down, ( Name ).” He declares with confidence.
You smile lightly, now noticing the things he’s been holding throughout the whole conversation. “You do know that giving me my favorite food and my favorite flowers today isn’t enough to make me forgive you, right?”
Alhaitham hums. “I’m aware. I’m guessing that the hospital didn’t give you any food that you’re craving, so I thought about making it for you before I visit.”
You know he was right, although the hospital did give you food to eat, it didn’t match the sweet taste of the ones you’ve been longing to eat, such as the foods that your lover always cooks for you whenever he can just for you.
“Pretty sure they cooked better than you though.” You joked.
His lips slightly move upward. “Oh? Won’t you try and see if you’re right then?”
You scoot over a little, a small invitation for him to finally come up to you. “Only if you hand-feed me.” You said, thinking he’d refuse and make you eat it yourself.
To your surprise however, you underestimated just how much that man loves you.
“If that’s what you wish then.” Without hesitation, he instantly comes up to your bed and sits down next to you, putting your flowers next to your bed and unpacked your meal (you didn’t bother to point out how he looked so eager to do so).
As you eat your meal that he made, you can’t help but reminisce about the times when he used to do this to you. Particularly when you get sick and he has to take care of you, something that he always reassures you that he’s completely okay with it and willing to do it as long as it’s for you.
“I’ll have to cook meals for you everyday then if it makes you that happy.” He suddenly says as he feeds you, making you realize that you’ve been smiling the entire time. “What do you say about curry shrimp tomorrow when I visit here?”
“You’re going to visit here again?” You ask in a surprised tone. “Don’t you have things to do with the Akademiya?”
“Even in different situations, I’d still put everything down just to take care of you.” Alhaitham explains. “Don’t worry about my duties in the Akademiya, I’m sure they’ll be doing alright without my presence for a while.”
You hummed. “Alright then.”
Alhaitham is one dedicated man, you’d admit.
Everyday, he’d always come and visit you with a meal in hand, as well as things that could make you no longer be bored from lying down on the hospital bed all day. On some days, the two of you would play TCG (with Cyno, Kaveh and Tighnari whenever they visit you), read books together silently, listen to music together with his music player that he personally made when he first became the scribe, and even take a stroll around the street together.
You’re still reluctant with his company, but nevertheless, you didn’t feel uncomfortable from it.
Of course, there were other things you’d do whenever Alhaitham is away. Sometimes you’d be found helping the doctors and nurses taking care of the patients, taking care of all the flowers he gifted you, and so on.
Your injuries were slowly getting better, much to everyone’s relief, and you were no longer as shaken up as before from the incident that happened on the day Alhaitham found you.
Not that he asked you about it. Now that you think about it, not a single person dared to ask what happened to you during your kidnapping, nor did anyone ask how you got your anemo vision, excluding some clueless people who were unaware of what happened to you.
Cyno did a good job in making sure that it looked like the eremites and Azar’s subordinates were ambushed by him and Alhaitham and not you, not wanting you to get in trouble for simply defending yourself from your captors. You’re grateful that he never questioned you about what happened.
It was hard to get used to the vision that reminded you of what happened, but with your friends’ help, you managed to slowly live with it as well as learn how to use it to protect yourself better.
By the time you were released from the hospital, you’re surprised that Alhaitham’s still continuing to do the same thing he’s been doing for the past week.
During your meals, it was Alhaitham who’s been doing the cooking instead of you, with Kaveh whining about why he doesn’t get the same treatment. He also made sure to always kiss you goodbye before he sets off to tend to his duties in the Akademiya, something that you missed for so long.
For someone who has an unpredictable schedule, he always makes sure to make time for you, for what is freedom if he can’t enjoy it without you?
Slowly and surely, you begin to forgive him and find yourself smiling every now and then.
Sure, he’d sometimes come back home late, but it was never like last time. Sure, he’d sometimes be too focused on his work in his office, but it was never like last time. Unlike last time, you finally feel like you’re living with a lover and not a stranger.
Whenever you could, the two of you would go out in the woods and train your skills with your vision, something you’re grateful for since using a vision isn’t as easy as you thought it would be.
The kidnapping still haunted you with nightmares that made you lose sleep as well as some things that reminded you of it, but with Alhaitham, you feel less scared and more comforted from him, who always made sure to stay by your side and be with you when you needed it.
He’s more considerate than before, you’d admit.
Of course, you made sure to show your gratitude by visiting Alhaitham in his office in the Akademiya like you usually did before, secretly surprised with how he’s always found in his office despite the fact that he’s usually everywhere but there (it’s as if he’s been anticipating you to visit him), and give him a meal that you made before going your way to the Grand Bazaar.
Until one day, Alhaitham requested you something.
“When you come and visit me at the Akademiya…” You slowly waited for him to tell you to not come there, only for your eyes to widen at his next words. “...Do make sure to bring two meals so we can eat together.”
You processed what he just said to you. “You mean… eat our meals together? You and me?”
He nodded in response, looking as though he’s unbothered with what he said. “Who else if not you?”
You try to hide your smile before obliging his request. “I’ll keep it in mind then.”
Since then, you find yourself eating your meal with your lover whenever you come and visit.
You never dared to point out how his lunchbox is always clean and empty whenever he’s done with it.
Sometimes if time allows it, he’d also visit the Grand Bazaar to watch you perform on stage with Nilou, who’s shocked to see the scribe himself – especially with a fascinated look on his face as he watches you perform.
After your performance, Nilou couldn’t help but carefully ask him about his presence in a place such as the Grand Bazaar.
The man could only huff. “Am I not allowed to support my lover?” He comments. “Don’t mind my presence and go enjoy what you love just like what I’m doing right now.”
“Watching your lover?” She questioned quietly, looking back at where you are, who’s currently helping one of your colleagues with another task. “You must really love ( Name ), huh?”
“Not just love.” He clarifies, crossing his arms. “They’re my freedom and eternal oasis.”
Nilou feels touched by the scribe’s words. She could see now why you’re so willing to give him another chance.
“( Name ) feels the same way, if you’re wondering.” She said with a soft smile. “I hope you’ll continue to make them happy like they are now. It’s been so long since the Grand Bazaar’s last seen ( Name ) being this happy.”
“I’ll make sure of that.” Alhaitham assures the woman, his eyes softening at the sounds of you laughing at whatever your colleague told you. “I’ll make sure they’ll be happy, even if we’re no longer together like now.”
Even when you’re still hesitant to forgive him in fear that it’ll happen again, Alhaitham is willing to wait for you and prove to you that he won’t do the same thing ever again no matter how long it takes.
Just like how you waited for him to come home when he was nothing but distant, he’s willing to wait for you the same way.

Hello there sagau brain rot like in many sagau versions reader/creator are often to soft to kind to my taste and then Idea comes to my head what if creator reader shows his cruler uncaring side to the pepole he truly hates or thinks deserve thier wrath like I can image that in place of raiden shogun the creator kills Singniora after begin defeated by traveler, azar the grand sage after whole begin in that day loop, and scaramouche when he had audacity to think that by begin inside giant mech he is now a God becose even if the creator is the kindest begin in tevyat.....his wrath has no bounds
@zardas75 welcome back to my very dead mailbox LOL—Let me see what I can come up with with your brainrot.
I don't fully get the Raiden Shogun vs Signora part, so I'm going to (unfortunately) not include that in this post.
The Creator Being Moody Fr (Jkjk—Unless? 👀)
(Disclaimer: Might Be OOC & Spoilers to the Genshin Impact Archon Quest Lore!)
Boy oh boy...where to begin...
To put it simply: It's Azar's Fault. Blame and point your fingers to the rusty old man, bois, we ain't forgiving him any time soon. It all started with him.
The moment you saw him in the Archon Quest, you knew, without even needing the slightest hint of evidence, that you did not like him and he was sus.
And when things escalated throughout the Archon Quest, you swore so loudly it shook the entire nation of Sumeru, if not all of Teyvat.
Here were Some of the Sumeru People's Reactions:
Cyno
He finished his confrontation with Azar and was waiting outside when you swore like your life depended on it. During his entire time being under your presence, Cyno was aware of how much you hated the guy—every moment you had gotten, you were seething and spouting insults from your mouth about Azar.
Even the General Mahamatra was stunned and shocked to the very core. He didn't you could and would do this.
And when you made it clear that your tantrum was yet to end, Cyno just braced himself for the fate of Sumeru to be in your hands.
"At least Azar is truly facing the wrathful judgement of the gods..." he mutters to himself, trying to convince himself of the situation at hand.
(Meanwhile You in the background: "YOU MF HOW DARE YOU. HOW DARE YOUUUU I WILL F—KING KILL YOU IF YOU CONTINUE THIS YOU SON OF A B—")
Scaramouche & Nahida
(Decided to add them both here since It's the False God Fight. This is kinda for the sake of convenience—)
Nahida never knew such intense emotion could ever erupt from Their High, Almighty Grace, and here you are, cursing and insulting Scaramouche. It wasn't as bad as Azar's, since you weren't throwing in any "I will have your head by morning" or anything similar threats, but it was still pretty intense.
Scaramouche, on the other hand, has heard you yelling at the old man Azar, and he already been yelled at for—quote on quote—"killing Teppei" (REST IN PEACE, TEPPEI 😭), so he knows what your wrath was like.
He did not like it then, and he still doesn't like it now. That much was a solid fact. Nevertheless, he has an image to uphold, especially in front of that Buer.
"Their Almighty Grace is really mad..." Nahida thought as they were confronting Scaramouche. (Cue you in the background still insulting Azar) "And it seems they won't be forgiving Azar anytime soon..."
"So, Their Grace still hasn't let go of their grudge against me..." Scaramouche mutters to himself once he was out of the view of Their Almighty Grace in his mecha. "Tch. Whatever...I'll make them see my true potential one I've squashed these insects."
Dehya
She knew you were explosive. She's seen it happen by the way you were cheering to beat Rahman's ass and "save the kid's grandpa!"
She knew you were pretty emotional on behalf of them. She's pretty happy and honored about that—that means Teyvat meant a lot to you.
What she was not expecting was to hear you curse and scream at Azar at the top of your lungs, as if that was the only enjoyment you were able to indulge yourself in.
You sounded murderous, and yet here you were, just yelling. Dehya would've shrugged it off, since she understood getting things out of your system was good, but she was not expecting the world to shake with your voice.
She looks over at Rahman. "You think Their Grace is handling this well?" "Probably not...Hard to say, Dehya." "Well, we'll just have to wait it out, then. They'll get it out of their system...eventually..."
Dehya was not expecting to wait until after beating the False God for it to be truly over. Gosh, that was scary...
Tighnari
He sensed that you didn't like Azar the moment you saw him, and frankly, he's pretty glad you don't trust him too. What he wasn't expecting was your explosive personality.
For all the stories about the Almighty Creator's kind and gentle nature, you were ANYTHING but. And you were proving it HARD.
Tighnari thought he heard it all when he got struck by lightning. Boy, was he wrong, because you just one-upped his expectations with the amount of cussing, cursing, threats, and insults you were hurtling in one go, streaming out of your mouth like you were running a marathon with your words.
So here he was, waiting in some form of dread in Pardis Dhyai, waiting if you were going to strike down the Akademiya with your godly might.
"I hope they don't accidentally blow up all of Sumeru..." he mutters to himself as he prays to all the archons that the nation wouldn't be turned into water or something.
Alhaitham
He should have taken account of your behaviour to the plan. You did play a crucial part. That was the sole mistake he overlooked.
Then again...it didn't seem like you were doing anything other than yelling at Azar...So perhaps the plan wouldn't change all that much.
He should keep in mind of how reactive you are, though. You...remind of his roommate sometimes...
"Hm. It seems Their Grace has yet to let Azar go of their scandal." He says it so calmly as he waits in Aaru Village. Candace stands a few feet away, looking unsure of what was going on—and probably praying that Their Almighty Grace won't strike down Sumeru in their anger against the rogue Grand Sage.
And let's not talk about the Traveler or Paimon. Those two are both used to it and still terrified. But they're okay with you dw 👍

Things I’ve said that would probably mortify SAGAU:
"For goodness sake Vile/Swan, I sleep with your boss."
"I have a better idea: Sic the Ruin Guards with rounds of neodymium."
"Tighnari, if you lay a hand on Karkata I will bury you under an endangered plant species."
Approaches Donna as Diluc "Hey lil mama let me whisper in your ear~"
"While we’re here could we give Guy a promotion or something? Poor man's been guarding the gate ever since I got here."
"And so the elderly lesbian polycule learned the true meaning of lantern rite."
What a cursed and sassy Creator/Player, you!
For real though, despite their outward facial expressions being neutral... they are screaming inside on what the heck are you on about. Imagine when you're done talking to the NPCs and teleport somewhere, they are left standing there with the most confused yet horrified look on their faces.
In my case, they (still) hear a lot of shouting/swearing and random things that come out of my mouth when beating the living shit out of the enemies. I blame Floor 12 of Spiral Abyss most of the time. There were times I said weird stuff while exploring, during Archon quests and events too.
It's also funny because I'm bilingual so they wouldn't understand half of the stuff I'm saying.
As far as I can remember what I said were:
"GET F*CKED, YOU PIECE OF SHIT...! Bennett, mah boi, you did a great job!"
(sees Azar for the first time) "This dude makes me want to bury him alive, and I haven't even heard his damn voice!"
(When Yae manages to find a way to infiltrate The Plane of Euthymia and talks to Ei) "...Do you guys need a room? I'm seriously going to yeet myself in the Abyss if this continues."
(Seeing Childe's Foul Legacy for the first time) "Wow... I'm very f*cking terrified right now. Let's see if you can beat a casual Monster Hunter fan, you lil' sh*t."
(dying from Cyno's jokes during the recent Windblume Festival event because my humor is *DEFINITELY* broken) "...My humor's really f'd up- *wheezes*"
"Mona, I really want to name you 'Puddle'! Don't ask me why though." (looks at Silly Wisher)
(using Dehya during her trial because I didn't manage to get her) ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA-
"Dainsleif, my dude... I swear to f*cking god, I'm going to physically manifest in front of you to shake the lore out of your system. Sound good?"
(To my Abyss teams) "If I'm gonna suffer, SO YOU GUYS WILL! NOW LET'S BEAT UP SOME PIECES OF SH*TS!"

HERE SHE IS!!!!
It took so long to draw the background and deciding on her color palette! I wanted her palette to show a little lore, but it was hard to balance the white with the leather😫. Especially as my research showed that white leather would not have been a thing in her time🥲.
But enough of that. Let me intreduce you to:
Azar, a high ranking general and one of the best warriors in all of Maar!
She was born into two parsian warrior families in the year P.E. 294 in Ecbatana, Pars, which makes her 26 years old. She is 170cm/5'5f tall.
Her tutelary god is Tiw, the maaren god of war—especially treaties—and of justice. He also oversees the moot (general assembly) and court cases. He stands for fair fights, victory and peace.
She moved to the village of Rus in Maar, where her aunt Sanaz, her fathers sister, lives with her family. After some time and events she moved to the capital of Maar, Vigard, and officaly became a squire. She worked hard and long and at the age of 16 she became an offical knight. From there she climbed the ranks of the maaren army very fast and at the age of 22 she became the highest ranking general, an Almennt (Almennt = Eran).
Similar to Daryun, Azar also has gained a few nicknames amongst her enemies, like the white general or the white death. The white coming from her mostly white armor and the death coming from her being infamouse for mowing down her enemies.
Azar also acts as the mentor to the maaren crown prince Aleksi and is rumered to be very close with the royal family, the "Elvenking" Farzin, his wife Queen Serrilda and the dowager queen Moja.
How will she fit with Team Arslan? Will they get along? How did the meet? And most importantly - what is that familiar yet strange air/aura between Azar and Daryun? Does Vahriz have anything to do with this? What does he know?
These questioned will be answered!
... someday...

Heavy (Al Haitham x F!Reader)
Tumblr media
Prelude Part 1
Summary: Being the ACTING grand sage is hard. He's cracking, and he knows it.
Warnings: Vulgarities, very stressed al haitham, unhealthy living habits, bros shouldering the weight of a nation, SPOILERS FOR SUMERU AND EVENTUALLY AL HAITHAM'S LORE
Word count: <610 words
Inspired by: -
Author's note: just wanted to explore more about Al Haitham's time as the acting grand sage. As much as he's capable and stuff, he's only human. There's no way he could have done the job without stress, especially since he's used to his simple job as a scribe.
Please give criticism! Also, if i missed any warnings, do tell me so i can add them!
Tumblr media
Al Haitham hasn't cried in years. But he's coming really close to it now.
He hasn't slept in days. He hasn't eaten since yesterday. He's at his bloody limit. But the papers and reports and proposals and notices just keep coming.
It never ends. Everything needs to be done NOW. Everything needs reviewing. Everything needs immediate attention. And it's not like he can delegate these tasks to anyone else. No one knows how to do them.
Azar and those traitors had pretty much micro-managed everything. They were so obsessed with having absolute control that they didn't let their subordinates make any decisions. Even the people under the imprisoned sages' command were too reliant on their sage's leadership. So when their sage was imprisoned, they followed Azar's commands blindly, falling victim to the traitor's control freak tendencies.
Which is why now that Azar and his goons are gone, no one knows what to do or who to report to anymore. And since the imprisoned sages are now bedridden in Bimarstan, everyone turns to him.
Everyone is asking him for instructions he knows he's not qualified to give. Everyone is asking him how to do things that he knows he does not know how to do. Everyone is talking to him all the time. He doesn't get a second of peace.
He needs to establish a new chain of command. One that won't break so easily in the future. He needs to set up the selection process for the new sages and the new grand sage. But he can't do all those things when he's currently being swarmed in other matters that should be done by someone else.
Seriously. Fuck those traitors, and fuck Azar's stiff-ass chair in particular.
Al Haitham is so damn tired. Yes, he keeps to office hours- but only so he can get a moment of solitude while he rushes back home to continue pouring over work- something he has NEVER had to do as a scribe. He's working around the clock, desperately trying to get everything in order before the next day.
But every time he drags himself back into the office the following morning, it's an unthinkable new mess. Instructions he had given the day before are lost. People quit or threaten to. He'll spend the entire day trying to resolve it. Then he'll rush home, finish leftover work, and try to predict and pre-solve tomorrow's mess.
It's a vicious cycle that'll kill him eventually. Every day is a test of how much pressure and steps he can take without stumbling. He barely has any time to himself. Everyone is demanding things from him that he can't deliver. The stress is getting to him. The lack of sleep is getting to him. Everything is getting to him.
He's starting every day in fear that he'll slip up. Not that he can let it show. He's supposed to be the nation's beacon of light in these trying times. He's supposed to lead the way. If he slips up now, Sumeru will fall into a state of disarray and may not be able to recover for generations to come. Lives will be upturned. Chaos will ensue. Which will mean more work for him, more stress and more sleepless nights.
The weight of a nation is on his shoulders, and he can't share it with anyone.
He's exhausted. He's scared. He's not religious, but he's begging the archons for assistance. That's how desperate he is.
He's just one guy. He can't do this all on his own.
But not even Lesser Lord Kusanali can help him. No one can.
Or so he thought.

If Azar and her group all purged their negative emotions and that became Trigon does that mean they technically birthed Trigon?
Yeah, they are Trigon's surrogate parents in a weird way. The guilt they feel over having created Trigon really impacts the way they raise Raven. Azarath having created Trigon and then refusing to fight him even though they do have the power to do so is so important to Raven's character. She feels like fighting him and keeping him at bay is her personal responsibility because she knows no one else who can will.
Trigon does actually have an actual mother who gave birth to him. We don't really know anything about her other than she was an alien Satanist.
Tumblr media
Once he was born Trigon immediately killed her (on purpose with full consciousness) as well as everyone else in the cult. It's later confirmed that the demon who's technically his father is actually the amalgamation of all of Azarath's negative emotions who was given form by this ritual and impregnated the alien woman with itself (comics are weird), creating Trigon.
I wish the connection between Trigon and Azarath could be explored more. There's so much potential in the dynamic between Trigon and Azar. The Azar who raised Raven is the granddaughter of the Azar who created Trigon, over 900 years ago (lifespan is longer on Azarath; the Azar who raised Raven is over 200 when she dies). She has a plan to finally destroy Trigon for good, without sacrificing her and Azarath's pacifism, and it requires forcing the child she's raising to die.
Trigon, for his part, hates Azar and wants nothing more than to destroy Azarath, but it's implied he purposefully arranged for Raven to be taken in by Azarath because he knew both that she'd be safe from his enemies who'd harm her and that Azar would raise her in a way that would make her easier to control. He doesn't know that Azar's secret plan is for Trigon to get exactly what he wants (Raven under his control) because that's the very thing that will spell his downfall.
In New 52 his origin is basically just a worse version of this (instead of Azarath purging their evils and accidentally creating him, he already exists but gets a huge power boost by sucking up the evil from an alien race who has like an evil vacuum cleaner they use to purify their universe). It's way less narratively satisfying because there's no Azarath connection and also just kind of fails as an origin story because it never explains how Trigon was born to begin with or how he had the power to absorb the universe's evil, but it does have the insane detail that Trigon is literally his own father in this continuity. (Canon typical SA warning under the cut)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I don't really like much of the New 52 Trigon and Raven lore but this is forever canon to me because you can't put Trigon is literally his own father in a canon comic and expect me not to latch onto that forever

We Could Be Heroes (or Cousins)
Tonight's charity prompt fill is for Raye, who donated to Streets Kitchen Solidarity and asked for a minific about Ian, "anything where he's outdoors with anyone."
Content tags: Ian feels. Spoilers for His Mossy Boy.
All characters here belong to me etc.
We Could Be Heroes (or Cousins)
Ian had only just arrived home after work when he turned to face north and frowned. Martin would have said something about his “Spider senses,” a reference Ian understood enough to roll his eyes at but not enough to argue over. Though Martin was trying to get him into comics, insisting that if Ian was going to have a secret identity, he should learn the lore.
Although then Martin had stared into the distance for a moment before mumbling something about how he’d end up “fridged.” Which was a reference Ian didn’t get even a little, but when he’d tried dropping it into conversation, Schmitty had grimaced, so Ian resolved to look it up whenever he had the chance when he remembered and Martin wasn’t around.
Martin wasn’t around at the moment, but Ian was currently more interested in the presence in his territory.
Which… all of the land, including the whole Preserve was his territory, in a sense. But Ian was concerned with the land in his name on all legal documents, land that butted up next to the state park, which meant lost or nosy hikers crossed over into it all the time.
This was different, however. Not Martin Dyer passed out beneath his tree different, but remarkable enough to have Ian leaving the house without doing much more than removing his badge and gun and dropping them in the kitchen. Martin would make a face if he found them there later, but hopefully Ian wouldn’t be out long.
He moved toward the disturbance in a straight line, growing as large as he could in his clothes without ruining them, wanting to cover the distance quickly.
The trees were not alarmed. No fleeing deer crossed his path. But the birds were singing and the wind whispered of something. Not in words. Never in words. Hints and teases, excitement without the smug pleasure that had heralded Martin’s arrival into Ian’s world. Not He’s here. Something new.
It’s time.
Ian didn’t hear as wolves did. It wasn’t a heartbeat that made him stop, it was the awareness of how close he was to the state park and then Zarrin’s gentle, husky voice addressing one of the trees.
“My, aren’t you handsome?”
Ian waited until he was his usual size and form to continue forward.
Zarrin Xu stood several yards ahead, one hand resting lightly—not lightly—on a redwood only a few hundred years old. A baby, in redwood terms. Zarrin leaned in, lips moving in a whisper that Ian couldn’t hear but he knew what was said anyway. Mine.
Zarrin wasn’t wrong. He just also wasn’t entirely right. Though the tree didn’t mind, either way.
“There you are,” Zarrin called out as Ian drew closer, as though they didn’t see each other nearly every day, even if only in passing.
“Zarrin,” Ian answered carefully, then realized Zarrin was keeping to that side of the redwood because he was staying on the border of the state park. He must have entered Ian’s territory just a step or two to get Ian’s attention and then returned to that spot to wait.
He’d knocked. Joe must have told him to do that.
Ian crossed his arms. “Bit far from the mansion, aren’t you?”
Zarrin rolled one wrist in a vague gesture. “I like a walk sometimes. Especially now. Is this why you walk so much?”
“Who says I walk?” Ian asked it but knew the answer: Martin. Azar would have kept it to herself, more because that was her habit with things that she thought her parents would dislike. Martin would have spoken of it because he was Martin, open and soft and warm.
Zarrin gave Ian a knowing glance that was surprisingly sharp. “They don’t speak, but I can hear them,” he said instead of bringing Martin into this moment. “Do they speak to you?”
Ian shrugged. “Not in words.”
Zarrin straightened, impossibly tiny next to that redwood and barely reaching Ian’s shoulder. “Are they talking about me? Are they… happy?”
The insecurity in his voice was starkly evident. Ian heaved a sigh and tried looking away, but even if the trees didn’t chide him, Joe or Martin would have. “Happy is not an emotion for trees. But they aren’t unhappy.”
Zarrin blinked his wide eyes at him, looking pleading and youthful until that look suddenly hardened. Zarrin’s chin came up. “I can’t help you care for them if you don’t tell me, Ian Forrester.”
“You’re not the boss of me,” Ian responded childishly, but uncrossed his arms. “Is that why you came here?”
“You won’t speak in the coffee shop.” Zarrin paused, then tucked his hands into his coat pockets. “Perhaps understandably, with humans near. And you avoid the mansion. And you don’t invite me here.” Briefly, Zarrin stuck out his lower lip in a pout. “Only Zazzie.”
“Azar needs space away from the mansion,” and her stubborn treasure. Ian pressed on when he could see Zarrin forming an objection. “You don’t need my permission to be here, or an invitation for that matter. I couldn’t stop you.”
“Couldn’t you?” Zarrin said shrewdly. “I wonder.”
Ian’s heart began to pound. He crossed his arms again. “What is that supposed to mean? Don’t tell me you’ve decided I’m a superhero the way Martin has.”
The smooth question was a mistake.
Zarrin perked up to give Ian a sly grin. “Martin might have more reason to think admiringly of you than I do, it’s true.”
Ian sighed loudly with annoyance, as though he couldn’t feel the shiver in the wind.
Zarrin might have felt it too. He studied Ian for a moment, his grin falling, then said, “I looked up more about you, you know. Or, creatures that might be like you. And had our antiques restorer stay out of Alfie’s things so I could go through them.”
The shiver touched Ian’s skin. He never felt the cold, but he did now. “And?” he asked as evenly as he could.
“You are not dragon, Ian Forrester. But you are, like the trees that speak but do not use words, also not not a dragon. Alfie was given an egg, wasn’t he? An egg with a child that he raised. Dìzhèn wanted Everlasting protected and was most thorough about it. And…” Zarrin briefly looked uncomfortable “an egg is often a gift of a great love, not always possible between a dragon and someone other. Even for the powerful.”
Ian let his heart pound and didn’t try to calm it.
“You don’t want to speak of those things,” Zarrin continued after a while, in a mournful voice he had no call to use. “Joe said you might not.”
“Joe knows.” Ian said it flatly. Of course Joe knew. If Zarrin did, Joe did. “Look, we… I was raised not to speak with others.”
“But I’m not others.” Zarrin was still mournful. “I’m… perhaps a cousin, and we’re supposed to work together.”
“I know,” Ian spoke through gritted teeth, then forced a breath in and out. “I know that,” he said, marginally calmer. “I just… am not used to it. But, like I said, I can’t stop you.”
Zarrin leaned toward Ian as though Ian was a redwood who needed whispering to. “Dragonfire did not slow you much, Ian Forrester. There is enough of us in your blood to make you a threat. It’s no wonder the rest of the family chose to pretend Alfie had only been a secretary. They couldn’t ignore his presence entirely, not with this, not with her still so strong, but they could do their best to cloud the truth. Your magic,” he gentled his voice when Ian tensed again, “hid you even from Bernard’s senses. Could I stop you? Perhaps, now that all this has responded to me. But am I meant to? I don’t think so. And would I want to?” Hurt entered Zarrin’s liquid eyes. “No. I thought us friends, and if not friends, cousins.”
“Cousins?” Ian’s brain finally caught up with that word, bringing him back a step. “I don’t have… I’ve never…”
“I’ve met injured wolves less skittish than you,” Zarrin observed, no pleasure in the statement.
“It’s not your job to take care of me,” Ian insisted, feeling his chest tighten like how Martin described a panic attack. That… that wasn’t good. It couldn’t be.
“Oh, Ian.” Zarrin shook his head. “I don’t know how to do this, either. It’s scary, isn’t it? Bernard says… well he would say many things, but he’s just as scared as we are right now. You don’t… you don’t look well.” His hands emerged from the pockets, grasping the air nervously. “Can I come in? Please? I can take you home or call Martin for you.”
Ian was distantly embarrassed by the longing to hear Martin’s voice that went through him when Zarrin said the name. He could hardly say he didn’t need help now. Zarrin, with whatever it was dragons felt, knew he wanted Martin.
“Martin is allowed here,” Ian said finally, breathing hard. “They welcomed him here.”
Zarrin nodded to accept that. “And me?”
The ground would rise up to meet him if it could. Zarrin might know that. Or might not understand what the feeling was. He was new to this and had no one to teach him anything.
A neat trick they’d pulled, Dìzhèn and Alfie.
Ian put his head down and thought of Martin and his comics and his excited talk of crossover events and unexpected team-ups. He thought Marie, the injured wolf Zarrin had found, and her books.
He wasn’t a superhero, but he could read more than just the creaking of tree branches and the sighs of the wind.
“They want you here,” Ian admitted. But that wasn’t really what Zarrin was asking. “I… don’t want you here,” he answered honestly and hated that Zarrin flinched. “But I could. Maybe. I just…” Did superheroes feel fear? He thought Martin would say they did. “It won’t be easy for me.”
Ian took another breath, closing his eyes to listen for another moment before opening them again to meet Zarrin’s intent stare. “Martin will be home soon. He’s making soup, if you’d like some.”
Zarrin practically wriggled with excitement as he stepped over a line only the two of them could feel.

Meets BomBom!💖
NOW THE ENGLISH VERTION YASS
Bombom is just another victim of the CyA company, who was the daughter of one of the main engineers, who was convinced by her boss to use her to try again as a child in the digital circus (yes, again, I will tell you about the other child later), and by chance of fate that I will explain later, Zooble and Gangle became so fond of the girl that they ended up taking her in as if she were their daughter :]

I've been waiting for someone take osekai reader that ain't God. Ok so think about the amount of blackmail we can do using lore ya know🤩. And if its set on the past we could predict the future!
omg first ask this is exciting
yeah im not too fond of the creator reader thing cus like the programmers made genshin innit so it wouldn’t actually made sense. i’d understand if we went there and they were like omg are u a god bcus u can control us!! and we’re like lmao no thats all we can actually do- anyway thats just me waffling
we could actually use blackmail to our advantage very well. especially if its set in the past. say u want something from azar and hes like shut up you irrelevant person and we’re like AHA BUT NO I KNOW YOU’RE GOING TO COLLUDE WITH THE FATUI and then we get our way. i mean i wouldnt use it on the characters necessarily because i gotta make friends with them but if zhongli starts annoying me i will pull the i know you’re a god so dont play with me card. you could also pull the khaenriah card on kaeya and destroying mondstadt on albedo. even scaramouche you could bully quite a bit but you’d have to be in a real sticky situation to go that far 🤔
predicting the future would be super fun aswell but instead of giving it to them straight i’d just give the most cryptic hints just to annoy them. i’d defo have a competition with that fortune teller girl in sumeru over who can predict the future more accurately obviously i’d win tho. in conclusion, there are so many ways to be a menace in this game and i love it

my genshin oc that i made back in january got the reboot she deserved <3333 utc is a bunch of info abt her!!! likes n rbs r appreciated n i hope u enjoy my little scrimblo ^^ sumeru deserves a hijabi chara
combat, talents, abilities
-        hydro staff (polearm + orb catalyst fusion) called “oasis”; other characters with this weapon primarily use it as a polearm, and only certain sumeru scholars know how to infuse the catalyst part into it to inflict the wet status
-        ^ base atk 43 at lvl 1/passive increases crit dmg by 22%. ability is called “deserted dream”: user’s elemental res. doubles (chances are 35%; increases with refinement rank), also increasing it for other party members by 75% (if 35% fails, this is guaranteed for the user; otherwise, this just applies to the other party members) for 20s. cooldown is 30s.
-        physical dps + enabling
-        charged attack has her stick the staff in the ground, jump up, and literally swing around it via the staff’s orb while physically kicking people; cause yk, why not?
-        normal attack has her (1) forward lunge (2) swipe arm, whacking w/ floating catalyst (3) spin in a 315 or smth, again whacking w catalyst (4) hold polearm upside down and use floating catalyst to vault upwards (5) bada bing bada boom use the staff as a hammer
-        holding the charged attack for over three seconds has her doing a plunging attack, using up abt 50% of her stamina but dealing 150% dmg
wouldn’t it be funny if she rolled around on her staff while using it as a scooter
-        her skill “rainlight” summons small stars to fall down on opponents, dealing AoE hydro dmg and applying the wet status as the catalyst on amika’s staff glows to life. hp restored from the stars scales off amika’s elemental resonance. if combined with opponents affected by cryo or pyro, stars deal an additional 20% dmg at lvl 1 (70% when talent is maxed out), while electro opponents share damage taken every 2s. skill lasts for 15s/cd is 20s.
-        her burst “no longer luminous” has amika unlocking the catalyst from her staff, throwing it up in the air, and whacking it with her polearm baseball-style, summoning a giant black hole that pulls in nearby opponents and renders them immobile, dealing physical dmg over time. those that aren’t pulled in are affected by massive AoE hydro dmg, and any other elements that combine with the black hole deal an additional 25% in elemental dmg. requires 70 energy/cd is 18s.
-        her passive “all by myself!” reduces expedition time by 25%
-        constellation: stella stilanus
-        special dish is from jelebis: she turns them into heart and star shapes, adds powdered sugar at random, and puts a few tiny multicolored roshmalai around the plate. now restores 34% hp and an additional 700 hp every 5s!
lore
-        amika was the granddaughter of great sage azar. his prodigious son had died and his daughter-in-law had disappeared, leaving him with a little girl at the gates of the akademiya. instead of treating her like an actual child, he had tried to raise her as the future great sage to take over his job after he died.
-        ... unfortunately for him, amika hated sitting still and kept breaking her akasha earpiece. seeing as her mother was from aaru village, azar had determined that this was why she was so... unruly. he'd have to quench that in order for her to truly take over his great work.
-        and in amika's opinion, it was as if she'd been damned to eternity. look, she TRIED enrolling in the akademiya, okay? it was just so... suffocating. nobody tried reaching out for help unless they wanted to be seen as weak. nobody attempted to get close to her with good intentions. nobody wanted to rebel against the ridiculous hierarchy based on pure nonsense. anyone that tried releasing themselves from this barrier would be exiled. amika wondered if she, too, would become as unloving as the scholars were. not that she loved anything, but living out of spite wasn't nice.
-        for a bunch of smart folks, the scholars at the akademiya sure were stupid.
-        she tried bringing it up with her grandfather with limited success, if any at all. he decided that instead of promoting her to great sage, he'd denounce her on the day of the jnagarbah. it was a solid punishment for the traitor he'd failed at raising.
-        amika overheard him talking about this plan with the other sages. she should have figured this would happen eventually. with a heavy heart and days of secretly packing and planning, jnagarbah day came.
-        the second azar came into her room to "crown her as the next sage", she'd already escaped. she carried a large bag on her person, the only contents being an orb and a boatload of sunsettias. quite a terrible pick, honestly, but she was a bit short on time.
-        with that, the ex-next sage had left sumeru city.
-        amika ran to the desert. knowing those dumb sages, they wouldn't dare set foot outside of sumeru city or even port ormos. it seemed like the perfect plan. she'd be all alone.
-        ... oh. she was alone.
-        this was a problem.
-        after three days of walking aimlessly and rationing her food to the best of her ability, she sat in the sand and weighed her options. should she go back and endure the sage's puppetry just like always? should she be left to die here? which would be less punishing? wouldn't it be embarrassing if someone found her dead in the sand?
-        before she could reach a conclusion to her whirlwind of thoughts, a foot nudged her knee. she looked up to see a blond man with elaborate clothing, who reached out a hand to her and scowled.
-        "you look like you're going to die out here. come on, i've got food."
-        it did seem like a good deal (especially considering how bad a newborn adventurer is at rationing). with only a nod, she accepted his offer. they went back to his camp and amika resolved to only stay there for the night. she wouldn't want to be a bother after all.
-        the blond man's name was kaveh. he'd been taking a break from studying in the akademiya in order to pursue his own interests, craft, trade, the works. amika found him being in the middle of the desert to be quite strange, but she figured to each their own. despite her self-promise to stay the night, she'd end up sticking around for over half a year as she learned the joy of having something to love. sketching.
-        she'd draw on the back of maps, within scrapped architectural designs, between the page margins of textbooks. every surface she could find would be covered in doodles, whether simple smiley faces or intricate patterns. it became a habit of kaveh's to lend her any design he was having trouble with to see what she could add to his half-baked ideas.
-        being a master blacksmith (his words, not hers) and possessing a vision, he also taught amika to fight. first with the orb catalyst she'd brought with her, then with a long steel beam he'd forged a polearm out of. as reward for mastering both, he'd fused her catalyst and polearm together, turning it into a staff that doubled as what the modern age would call a slingshot-shaped baseball bat. she adored it, carving both of their names into the staff with a sharp rock she'd found nearby. kaveh may have called it defamation, but she'd keep it as a memory for years to come.
-        when kaveh announced that his research was done and that he'd start heading back to the akademiya, amika was noticeably taken aback at first. "why go back?" she had asked, her eyes narrowed. "it's nothing more than a land doomed by the god that left them."
-        kaveh sighed. "like i said, my research is done. plus," he added with a smile, "i'd say you're just about ready." with that, he left in the morning.
-        a month after he'd left for sumeru city, amika had adjusted well to living on her own. she could ration her supplies like a seasoned adventurer, hunt and forage for food easily, and even set up a camp and cook. in her opinion, she may as well have been a veteran with how skilled she had become.
-        that didn't mean it stopped being lonely, though.
-        with kaveh gone, amika had gone back to being quieter. she didn't want to go back to sumeru city, that'd only cause bad memories to resurface. her problem out here was that there wasn't anyone to talk to in particular aside from the wind. not like it'd say anything back. she had a hydro vision, not an anemo one. from the stories she'd heard about their archon, he seemed like a fun guy to hang around. perhaps he'd be a nice companion. yet with each new day passing by of being around nobody whatsoever, it was definitely starting to take a toll on her.
-        and so, she asked the wind. whether out of desperation, exasperation, or the sheer lack of having affection, she'd never be able to tell. either way, the wind decided it was going to kick up a breeze, carry the petals of a sumeru rose with it and send the girl chasing after the petals.
-        sumeru roses were rare around here... that had to be a sign, right?
-        laying her staff orb-down,she kicked it and planted her foot onto the side of the staff, steering the uniscooter through the desert and turning the sand she was riding on into dust. for periods of time, she'd switch between riding her staff and slinging it over her shoulder, running after the wind for a glimpse of something, anything, really.
-        nightfall came before she managed to catch up to the petals in a secluded tropical grove of sorts. hopping off her staff, she reached for the petals and grabbed a fistful of them, save for a single vibrant violet one that waltzed in the air before landing softly on the head of a boy seeming to be around her age slumbering against the base of a tree.
-        he looked like a porcelain doll. amika thought he was almost ethereal for a guy that looked totally out of place in a land like sumeru. sharp eyes, delicate facial features, dark hair that looked as soft as feathers. his clothes were of silk and another material amika couldn't recognize. next to him was a large disk with intricate details, almost brand new. she wondered if the dollface used it as a weapon. if it wasn't for his chest moving up and down rhythmically, she would have cursed the wind for leading her to a fragile corpse still frozen in time.
-        she approached hesitantly, crouching down as quietly as possible. extending a hand towards the boy, she plucked the petal from his head and sighed in relief... but as she turned to go back, a cold hand grabbed her wrist with lightning speed. her eyes darted back to the boy, whose eyelashes fluttered awake as his eyebrows furrowed.
-        "and what, may i ask," his voice was low, but clearly ticked off, "do you think you're doing?" the boy's eyes were almost like glass with how glazed over they seemed. a dull gray clouded them, almost lifeless.
-        she winced, but showed him the petal between her fingers. "easy there, dollface, i'm just grabbing a stray ingredient," she replied. "i'm making fish rolls for us." (she wasn't going to at first, but telling a stranger that she ran after a bunch of petals in the wind seemed really weird.)
-        "us?" he scoffed, but loosened his grip. amika pulled her hand back, rubbing at her now-red wrist. "you don't know me and i don't know you. how do i know you aren't here to kill me like everyone else?"
-        "i dunno who 'everyone else' is supposed to be, but to be quite frank with you, i'm just hungry." she stood up and scanned the landscape, her gaze landing upon an abandoned campsite. grinning, she rubbed her hands together and looked back at the boy at the tree, extending a hand out to him. "now get on your feet. you're going to help me cook over there."
-        "is that an order?"
-        "what am i, a god?" amika sighed, placing her other hand on her hip. "you're all skin and bones. i'm not letting you die of starvation out here."
-        he bit his lip, grumbling. "i don't need your pity--" he managed to get out before his stomach grumbled. after a beat or two, his shoulders slumped and he grabbed her wrist, letting her pull him up. "fine. your pity will be accepted just this once."
-        "it's not pity, pretty boy, it's just what feels right. plus," she added with a smirk, "any resistance will be met with the big circle thing over there turning into a plate." her smile widened at the look of abject horror on his face.
-        leading him to the campsite, she laid out their ingredients and started a fire underneath the pot. "what's your name, anyway?" she asked as she started chopping up the fish.
-        the boy, who had been put in charge of the rose petals, hummed softly. "i don't have one," he mumbled, his fingers brushing against the soft petals. "i'm just... a wanderer, i guess. they don't tend to have names."
-        "huh." a moment passed by. "i'm gonna call you 'dera'."
-        his gaze shifted to her, the wanderer's expression shifting to that of confusion. "you could have chosen anything else," he said, "and you land on that?"
-        she snickered in response. "okay, 'wandy'," she retorted.
-        "... on second thought, dera might be better."
-        within a half hour, they had made enough fish rolls to snack on. laying back against the tree, they sat in silence, the only sound coming from the gale breeze through the flora and the crunching of the rolls. swallowing one down, amika started to fiddle with the ribbons intertwining on her arm.
-        "so," she asked, "what are you doing here in the middle of nowhere?"
-        dera tilted his head, dull gray eyes locking with her own violet ones. "i could ask you the same thing," he said. despite there being nobody else around, he kept his voice quiet, soft. "you did ruin my nap, after all."
-        "please, you're just a light sleeper," amika retorted. "and like i said before, i lost the flower in the wind and had to get it back. then it led me to you." more fiddling, this time with the cuffs on her wrist. "your turn."
-        "like i said before, i'm a wanderer." he pinched the bridge of his nose at her blank expression. "hello? i'm a wanderer. i wander."
-        "ohhhh, that explains it."
-        he nodded, going back to staring at the landscape in front of him. "and via that wandering, i ended up here." his eyes closed, his blunt bangs shifting in the wind. "nobody around but me."
-        "and you've never, like..." the girl made some vague sort of gesture with her hands. "felt lonely or anything?"
-        the gray in his eyes darkened. "i don't experience useless emotions like that." he paused, resting a hand in the grass and grabbing a cluster in his hand. "rather," he added as an afterthought, "i'm not supposed to."
-        "it's okay if you do." she pulled a leg up to rest her head on her knee. "who said you couldn't?"
-        he looked away, but his grip on the grass cluster tightened. "that's not something for you to know."
-        ah, so there actually was someone. maybe someones. amika huffed, her fist balling up as her nails dug into her palm. "then they're as stupid and brain-dead as the akademiya scholars and sages."
-        "you don't seem to like them very much," dera remarked, the corner of his mouth quirking up in a half-amused, half-curious grin of sorts. letting go of the grass, he rested his hand on his thigh and started drumming his fingers absentmindedly.
-        she shrugged and sighed. "yeah, well..." her eyes lowered, her smile now bittersweet. "sometimes you're both not enough and too much at the same time for everyone you meet, y'know?"
-        dera's expression changed. "yeah," he breathed, "i do." without a word, he reached out and gently patted amika's shoulder, soothing both her and himself to an extent he'd rather not talk about. they stayed like that for a few minutes before he pulled the hood of her cloak over her face.
-        "get some rest," he muttered. "i'll gather the supplies. we leave in the morning."
-        "we?" a groggy amika raised her cloak hood just enough to make out his chin. "does this mean we're friends now?"
-        his nose scrunched up. "we aren't friends," he replied curtly. "we'll only travel together."
-        "this isn't a command, is it?"
-        a quick exhale from the wanderer. amika vaguely recognized it as some sort of laughter. "what am i, a god?" he said, then paused. he shook his head and raised the cloak's hood up just enough for her to see his face. his eyes looked more silver than gray. "it's an offer. one that an impulsive flower chaser like you will accept." he poked a finger into her forehead, eliciting her to suddenly tense from the lack of warmth.
-        "you don't know that," she grumbled, then added a "but you're not wrong" as she brushed his hand away, her scowl breaking into a smile as she pulled the hood back over her eyes. "goodnight, wanderer."
-        "goodnight, flower chaser."
-        and despite the wanderer's many vices against anyone he'd surrounded himself with before, he did have to admit it felt a little less lonely now.
-        maybe they could be less lonely together, at least.
voicelines
-        hello / hey, i'm amika. let's see what sort of adventure we can find ourselves today. don't worry, you have me with you.
-        chat: sketching / oh, this? it's just a hobby of mine, nothing more. even so... i do enjoy it a lot, haha. it gave me something to do, even if i sort of overdid it. maybe someday i'll be able to share my littles scribbles and doodles with the world. i'd like that.
-        chat: oasis staff / when kaveh first made me this, i didn't expect it to be as useful as it really is. see, if you turn it upside down and nudge the orb a fair bit, just step onto the sides here and use the pole here as a way to steer... voila! a transportation... thingy!
-        when it rains / the pitter-patter noise is so calming to listen to... ah, no, i can't fall asleep!-        after it rains / oh, great. mud. this is fine. i'm not hating this.
-        when it snows / oh, this is definitely gonna blind me when it starts getting sunny later.
-        when the wind is blowing / oh, this breeze feels so nice! a sandstorm might kick up soon, though, so let's find shelter.
-        good morning / up and at 'em, huh? that's the spirit! let's head out.
-        good afternoon / how long do you think it would take to glide from the tallest cliff in the desert all the way to the bottom? ...don't be silly, people don't die from gliding for too long! i think.
-        good evening / the sky looks so pretty... i hope i get to see thousands of sunsets for as long as i'm alive.
-        good night / you did well today. make sure you don't stay up for too long, alright? get some rest.
-        about wanderer… / i'm proud to say that he and i are best buds! the longer you spend time with him, the more you come to realize that his snark and teasing are all with good intentions, even if he'll try to cover it up with some lame excuse. what a softie.
-        about kaveh… / kaveh's a pro at what he does. i have to thank him for taking me in and teaching me a bunch of stuff, like architecture and fighting and all that stuff. i wonder if he'll accept some padisarahs as a thank-you gift.
-        about al-haitham… / he doesn't look like it, but he's caused a fair bit of trouble for the sages. i envy his annoyance skills. when kaveh talks about him, he always talks like he's al-haitham's bitter housewife, haha.
-        about lisa… / the mondstadt mage, right? i caught a glimpse of her in an old photo when i was a kid. you could tell she still had a spark of something still left in her unlike the sages that are around today. maybe that's why she left.
-        about cyno… / the general mahamatra--wait, no, i think it's former--anyways, he interests me. i was always told the children of the desert were people to be avoided, but... i don't know if that applies to him. bad guys aren't punny.
-        about kazuha… / a lone samurai wandering through the islands of the land of thunder, with nothing but the animals, the water, and the breeze to accompany him. that's what a former scholar of the akademiya described him as. it paints such a vivid image in my head... for some reason, dera comes to mind, too. in a way, they seem a bit similar. i can't quite explain the connection, though.
- about tighnari... / despite his calm demeanor, he can get quite flustered if you touch his tail or ears, which is always why he tends to avoid it unless completely necessary... wait, he offered to lend you his tail?! when i did that, he scolded me for ages... man, i'm so jealous.
-        about us: camping / beyond anything else, an adventurer should know how to set up camp! it says so in the little handbook i got from miss katheryne!
-        about us: aranara / i've heard of the little lettuce hat creatures, but i've never been able to see them in person. the only visual source of information i trust is the picture books about them. if i squeezed one, would it squeak?
-        about the vision / from what i know about the visions, certain visions are assigned to those who embody the trait criteria that the archons stand for. the hydro archon is all about justice, which should mean i have some sort of sense of justice. i don't think my spite qualifies as justice, though. her reasoning will always remain unknown to me.
-        something to share / sometimes, i think about whether the great sage really saw me as a child or not. maybe i never meant anything more to him than a means to achieve immortality in spirit. does he regret his actions? i don't know and i don't intend on ever knowing. he's only my grandfather in blood.
-        interesting things: dreaming / most people in sumeru don't dream, save for the few that have faint flashes of them. ever since i broke my akasha terminal when i was six, i've been able to dream vividly, remembering everything that happens in them. some are good, some are bad, some are mundane little things. i try to enjoy every little one i can.
-        interesting things: dunyarzad / whenever i went on errands, i'd always see a beautiful girl gaze out her window. if neither of us were being monitored, we'd wave to each other and even have a quick conversation when we had the time. may she find happiness wherever she goes.
-        more about amika: I / i heard from someone still in sumeru city that after i ditched the sages, wanted posters were put up on the boards of port ormos and sumeru city. there wasn't a reward though, which might be why i haven't ran into someone interested in a reward.
-        more about amika: II / the sages are all corrupted beyond relief. their pursuit of knowledge caused the akademiya hierarchy to be born, which gave people with "more intellectual capability" enough leeway to straight-up harass others they don't deem as prodigious as them. people like that disgust me.
-        more about amika: III / the akademiya is a privilege nobody deserves. scholars should be encouraging towards their peers, not belittling them at any chance they get. i just wanted the opportunity to be recognized for my own achievements without someone else tying it to the sages, and yet... perhaps the dendro archon just doesn't favor me as much as the others.
-        more about amika: IV / if there's anything that always bothered me, it was how the scholars treated the desert people. condescendingly and mockingly, like they were idiots. i found out from the great sage that my mother had been from the desert as well. he spoke of her with nothing but venom in his voice. had the scholars found out i'm half-desertrian, would the harsh treatment and isolation i faced in the akademiya have changed?
-        more about amika: V / i think wandering with dera has really given me peace of mind. you know that feeling you get when someone you seem to have nothing in common with ends up sharing the pain you have, even if how that pain affects them isn't the same as you? it's like that with us, which might be why we're such good friends. i'm not enough and too much and perfect the way i am. i hope you find someone that lets you feel like that, too. take your time, traveller.
-        amika’s hobbies / i make a note to sketch anything i think i won't remember. i'd like to keep a memory as accurate as possible, but i'm not interested in being close to a perfectionist. besides, the whole point of a hobby is to be able to enjoy it.
-        amika’s troubles / hey, traveller, have you been to sumeru recently? has it changed at all since i left? i've been wanting to go back, but everytime i even think about, i end up panicking and my entire mind and body just shuts down on me. it's like i'm sick or something and i just... hate it, i hate it so much. i'm supposed to be okay, but it's like all my senses get so overwhelmed that i'm paralyzed... whatever this is, i hope it stops soon.
-        favourite food / the more flavor food has, the better it tastes. not to an overwhelming point, of course. it's best when the flavors balance each other out well enough so that you're able to enjoy each and every difference.
-        least favourite food / bland food is the worst taste ever, if mainly for the fact that there is no taste to begin with. rice is a prime example of this, since it's only tasty if you add something like curry or soup to it. what's the point in enjoying food if there's nothing to enjoy?
-        receiving a gift: I / everything's melting in my mouth... i could die happy!
-        receiving a gift: II / ooh, this isn't bad! i've gotta have this more often.
-        receiving a gift: III / oh, you shouldn't have... really, haha...
-        birthday / hey, hey, happy birthday! as a gift, i've prepared a special art piece of you. despite how ordinary it may look, there's a catch: it's made entirely out of flower petals! pretty amazing, huh? let's make sure next year's birthday is even better than this one, alright? only the best for the birthday traveller!
-        feelings about ascension: intro / i'm getting a major adrenaline rush!
-        feelings about ascension: building up / ooh, it's all tingly and stuff. like chills, but in a good way.
-        feelings about ascension: climax / if i jumped off a cliff before, i'd die immediately. but now... well, i'd probably still die, but the chances of me surviving are there now!
-        feelings about ascension: conclusion / maybe this is the closest i'll ever get to perfection. for once, i don't really mind it. if i can use this strength for something good, i'm willing to stay like this.

This time ganyu( becose I still pissed at one guy who insulted her i her own story quest) bennet and nilou (another chance to make azar feel terror)
COMING RIGHT UP, ANON. THANK YOU FOR REQUESTING OMG 💀 I have been too dead without these requests, fr.
Click Me For Part 1!
When Someone Insults Ganyu, Bennett, and Nilou vs When Someone Insults Reader...
(Disclaimers: Might Be OOC, Mentions of Violence, & Quest/Genshin Impact Lore Spoilers!)
Ganyu
Okay, first of all: Yes, I am adding that stupid idiot cough Xin Cheng cough into this.
You were just following the Traveler and Paimon, joining Ganyu's Story Quest which, for some reason, was not completed yet. So, you decided to tag along to see Ganyu!
You weren't hyped when that beggar came out of nowhere and started to do all that fairytale stuff even you don't approve of—and you were someone that sticks themselves into your own head, thank you very much.
So when this man started to gain the audacity to insult Ganyu, you knew you had to step up and do something. No one, and you quite mean it, was going to insult her and get away with it.
"Hey!" You came out from your hiding spot (you're the Almighty Creator, you know it'll make the situation worse). "Just what the hell do you think you're doing, huh?"
Xin Cheng pales at the sight of your enraged figure. He stutters to make an excuse, but you cut him off. You're having none of it.
"Get your useless self out of here, before I decide to kick it down the mountains myself!"
To say that Ganyu was shocked that you were getting angry over a mortal was an understatement. She was beyond surprised that you even stood up for her.
But she did have to intervene with your threatening—after all, she is still an Adeptus. Protecting the people of Liyue was still her duty.
"Your Grace...Please let him go. I'm sure he already understands his mistake." Ganyu's soft voice only made your anger increase—she sounded so upset!
"Y-yes, please, Your Grace! I understand what I've done wrong, I—"
"Silence." You glare down at the mortal. Your turn back to Ganyu, and considered your choices. While you wanted to wreck absolute vengeance on this man, you also didn't want to hurt Ganyu's feelings more.
Guess you were going down Trauma Lane, then. You sigh, and stomp your feet as you turn around to glare at Xin Cheng, catching his petite form by surprise.
"If I ever see you do this again..." Your eyes narrow. "Believe me when I say it—you will be granted no mercy by any adeptus nor Rex Lapis himself. Now SCRAM!" With that, he was running for the hills. You weren't entirely satisfied, but you'll take it. For now.
What would Happen if Ganyu heard you get insulted? Well, first of all, she would gasp quietly to herself. What was this blasphemy? She's utterly horrified.
Ganyu thinks she might faint once she realizes you were nearby, checking out vendor goods next to where the gossipers were spilling terrible insults of your image.
"Y-Your Grace! Please accept my apology on behalf of the people of Liyue." Will literally run up to you and apologize for them. While she may not be the one who did it, she's still cares about the People of Liyue—and thus her reasoning as to why she's askign for the mercy of the Almighty Creator.
Your puzzled look turns to Ganyu. "Who are you apologizing for?" Ganyu blinks.
"The, uhm—the gossipers..?" You're still confused, until your eyes shine once recognition hits you like Truck-Kun.
"Ohhh, those dudes! Yeah, don't worry about them—they're pretty boring, saying the same thing like a broken record. Say—wanna shop with me? I'm paying, of course."
And that's how you got Ganyu to be more comfortable around you! :D
Bennett
Ah, our unlucky yet optimistic adventurer! This boy—he is good. He's cool, and he's rather awed by most of the kids in Mondstadt.
He was hanging out with Razor and Fischl when someone decides to insult him. this genuinely upsets him—after all, they were insulting his ability and his position in the Adventurer's Guild...
Already, Razor and Fischl were already up to defend him, but what they didn't expect is for the Almighty Creator (aka you) got to it first.
"I beg your pardon," you say through gritted teeth. "How exactly is having a bad luck aura got to do with ANYTHING related to being an adventurer?" You're glaring so many daggers you could practically say you were breaking all the walls. "Perhaps we'll see just how lucky you are when I send you to Dragon Spine and watch your dead corpses FREEZE TO DEATH?"
The insulters were paling the more you went on. Razor and Fischl aren't sure what to do—you're already there, dealing with the situation.
But Bennett? Well uh, like usual, his bad luck got the best of him, and he accidentally stumbles towards you (miraculously). He bumps into you, and you shift your gaze onto him.
"Uh—Sorry, Your Grace! I really didn't mean to bump into you, I swear!" Poor guy is scared because his bad luck affected him at the worst time of all. He thinks he might get killed.
You though? Oh, hell nah. Your gaze already soften, and you decided to show favoritism! You pull the boy into a hug, glaring at the insulters one more time as a warning to scram, before you go back to enjoying giving the boy affection!
But when Bennett hears you get insulted? Well, first of all, screw his bad luck because the insulters were quite literally telling him how bad of a Creator you were!
He immediately tries to avoid getting too deep into the discussion, trying to sway the topic elsewhere to no avail, and he pales when he realizes you were literally a few steps away from them!
And it seems his bad luck gets in the way again, because you just turned right as he was staring at you with shocked eyes!
However, instead of being mad, you were actually beaming when you see him. You wave at Bennett, smiling.
"Bennett! Help me choose some flowers, yeah?"
"Uhm—uh, Sure, Your Grace!"
And that's how the insulters were hiding in their homes for the rest of their lives as you merrily dragged Bennett out of that horrendous conversation.
Nilou
Honestly, do I need to say who decided to insult this amazing dancer?
Yes, it was fricking Azar again. What is up with this crazy old man, nobody knows. Perhaps you should put him in prison for a while until he's gained a sense of appreciation for the Arts. ALL of the Arts.
Apparently, when you had drilled fear into this man, he thought it only applied to flipping Nahida. As much as you love Nahida, you are not going to have Azar twists your words and make it seem like you grant him permission to snark down other people—especially the people of Zubayr Theater.
So when Azar finally decides to have scholars gain the nerve to insult Nilou on behalf of his stupid brain, you (of course) just had to get yourself involved with this.
"Excuse me, but since when did you have the audacity to judge someone else's profession of art, simply because it isn't 'academic' in any way?" You spat. "Where I come from, Art courses are necessary in order to move on in your academic life." When Nilou hears you, she, first of all, is grateful of you stepping up for her, and, second of all, very scared of what might be happening next.
The scholars pale, but they seem to have taken your comment as a debate.
"With all due respect, Your Grace, the Arts are anything but educational—"
"Was I looking for a second opinion, dimwit?" You narrow your eyes. "Besides, have you yourself ever tried the Art of Dancing or the Art of Music before?"
"Well—uhm, no, but—"
"Then shut up, then." The scholars begin to panic as your voice becomes low and dangerous. "You don't have an excuse to be judgmental if you haven't even tried this stuff yourself."
"Ex-Sage Azar told us to say this!" They blurt out, and that only increases your rage. Seeing that things might escalate, Nilou steps in.
"Your Grace, let's not be too harsh!" She exclaims, waving her hands frantically. "I'm sure they understand what they did wrong. There's no need to have them punished." You narrowed your eyes in disagreement, for a half second, Nilou thought she made the situation worse.
But when you sigh heavily, she knew you relented. You glare at the scholars again.
"Tell Azar if he does this again, to ANYONE, I'll cut his head off, and there's no more excuses there. In fact—bring me to him. I'll have a talk with him myself."
Yeah, Azar got traumatized again :)
But when Nilou hears you be insulted? Quite literally behind your back? She thought she was going to faint from the gossiper's comments alone! You being there to listen it to it all only made her feel worse.
She was about to confront them, until she saw other people nearby dealing with the situation. So, Nilou decides to check up and see if you were okay...After all, those comments weren't nice.
She was pretty shocked when she realized you were contemplating over wares instead, completely unbothered by the drama going on behind your back. Nevertheless, she was still going to apologize in case you were just hiding your emotions.
"Uhm, Your Grace—I would like to apologize on behalf of all of Zubayr Theater. We should've done something earlier." You look at her, confused.
"What are you apologizing for, Nilou?" You ask. She blinks.
"Uhm, the gossipers, Your Grace..?" Your eyes widen, before you bark a laugh.
"Oh, those dudes! Yeah—don't worry about them, honestly. Say—help me pick: should I get hot chocolate or tea from this lovely store?"
Let's just say you had a fun time hanging out with Nilou for the rest of the afternoon :)
AND THAT'S IT! WE ARE DONE! I AM SO SORRY FOR BEING INACTIVE AND TAKING 30+ YEARS TO FINISH THIS, BUT IT'S HERE! :D I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOYED IT!

LORE P&F X GENSHIN AU
You guys (at least some of you guys) wanted an update about the lore of an AU I've started for fun (seriously idk what I was even thinking of)
Please take into consideration that this might be subject to lots of updates heh~
So to start things off, I began on the universe with a light note with some comedic banter between Cyno and Sethos, and with the title I've given the dialogue, I'm quite sure you could guess who was who. Cyno was Perry the platypus and Sethos is Dr. Doofinsmirtz.
Okay, now for the casting for the rest of the characters. Only one problem.......there isn't any.
Most of the characters can't be 'cast' per se with nobody from Genshin having barely or any similar traits to the characters of Phineas and Ferb. I've got a few, however.
Isabella: Nilou
Baljeet: Nahida
Buford: Scaramouche
Major Monogram: Azar (don't give me hate comments yet be patient pls)
Monty (I think that's his name?): Alhaitham
Carl: Xingqiu (Don't ask (Seriously imagine this guy singing that one song Carl sang))
For the people thinking 'What about Phineas and Ferb?! They're the main characters you should've at least cast them right!'
...yeah about that there is no Phineas and Ferb. I'll explain that right now.
The actual show of Phineas and Ferb is about them along with their entire gang of friends doing crazy and insane things on every day of their summer in an attempt to make the most out of it, inventing the wildest and wackiest inventions while their sister Candace tried to 'bust' them and get them in trouble with their parents.
Well, this is Genshin, we all know it's gonna be more complicated (and possibly more depressing) than that. So, I was thinking, since I've previously confirmed the existence of the Akademia in this universe, then obviously most of the Sumeru characters attend it.
So, instead of them being a couple of kids just enjoying their summer, maybe the Sumeru gang could be doing the same thing, making all of those crazy inventions, but with a different intent. The Akademia being the Akademia, could give the kids a summer long project to invent something extraordinary!
Kaveh, Tighnari, Cyno, Faruzan, Layla, Nahida, and Scaramouche have met each other on a couple of occasions and have become accquaintances, and had decided this project was far too big to simply do by themselves and have decided to team up with each other and do the project while maybe having a little bit of fun at the same time
Nilou, Dehya and Candace occasionally join the group because of common friends (Layla and Cyno)

Remember when I made Azar Major monogram? Yeah there's a good reason for that! I said in the previous episode that Cyno worked as a secret agent for the Akademia? Well, the Akademia is disguised as a school, but has secret intentions to take over not just Sumeru with their ideals, but the world!
Cyno was recruited into the Akademia's secret agents as a part of Project Hermanubis. He was an orphan who was taken into the Akademia after being abandoned as a child and soon began displaying strange powers. The Akademia grew interested in what these powers could potentially be and made him an 'agent' in exchange of providing him food, shelter and an education and a vow of silence. When the Akademia could finally have Cyno's complete loyalty and trust, his powers would be at their disposal.
The Akademia didn't want to give Cyno the jobs of an actual agent and risk him finding out their true intentions just yet, but needed to give him a job to maintain his status as an agent, and Sethos' ridiculous plots were the perfect way to do it.
Sethos was part of a cult of geniuses called the temple of silence, who's motto was to make the world a better place and had connections to the actual Hermanubis. Hermanubis however was considered as a curse because of his powers. Hermanubis wasn't considered a god to the people in this universe.
Unbeknownst to Cyno, Sethos also had the power of Hermanubis passed down to him. When the cult found out of these powers, they exiled him from the it in fear of him becoming too powerful, as Hermanubis' powers brought chaos and destruction instead of peace and harmony like the cult had intended. Out of anger and humiliation of being exiled, Sethos attempts to blow up the secret base of the temple of silence.
The Akademia decides to send Cyno on this mission to foil Sethos' plan, so Cyno goes in, completely blind of Sethos' motivations for the said bombing and manages to succeed his first mission. Sethos, despite being foiled and humiliated yet again, he found a certain rush of adrenaline that he particularly enjoyed carrying out his evil scheme, so why did he need to stop?
So he came up with more and more schemes for Cyno to foil. The Akademia found this as the perfect distraction for Cyno and assigned Sethos as his arch-nemesis. Meanwhile, Sethos finds himself strangely enjoying Cyno's company, which in turn motivates him to come up with more and more ridiculous schemes.
Cyno slowly realizes that Sethos isn't actually that evil, and even secretly finds himself enjoying Sethos' company as well. Soon, their relationship becomes much more than just hero vs villain. They become frenemies
Cyno goes for his missions while when the others invent their stuff and are quite oblivious, even believing Cyno's incredibly weak excuses. Well, everyone except for Tighnari, who was Cyno's best friend. He didn't know anything about Cyno's past and his powers and his current affiliation with the akademia.
Alhaitham is the prodigy of Azar, but Alhaitham doesn't admire him and has his suspicions, but isn't currently aware of the Akademia's misdeeds. Xingqiu is Alhaitham's intern and helps him with his stuff and really looks up to him, but would also like to get recognition as the intern.

So one of my friends is really into history, lore, and Stuff and told me that a dude named Dr. Irving Finkel translates stuff from sumerian and he's, like, the one who learned that the Epic of Gilgamesh was like homework for scribes-in-training with said trainee scribes being, as I like to describe, 2-18-years-old rich kids. Bestie then proceeded to yeet me the mental imagery of some young noble child scribe writing GilKidu fan fiction instead of their homework [which, mood you scenario-noble child] which leads me to THIS crack shot of an idea being born when I said to them:
"Imagine one of the best scribes in the Modern Era was a 2 year old girl and the only reason she's considered the best because she lost her homework and that's the only reason why a Significant Part of The Story of Gilgamesh still exists."
Which lead me to conclude that "I can fanfic this." So really this AU (kinda) started because of bestie and because they like Kaveh and Deshret and Kaveh as Deshret, I decided to call this one The Epic of Deshret AU (shortened name) [full name of this AU would probably be Ancient Ship Fiction Survives AU]. (Below is basically copy pasting what I told them while I was running on AU juice)
Epic of Gilgamesh AU in Genshin but replace Gil and Enkidu with King Deshret and Nabu Malikata-- but its modern au with Haikaveh/Kavetham being Scribe and Archeologist respectively and they just uncovered a new site that contains ancient text that seems to hold new information about the Epic of King Deshret-- except that's not really the main plot.
So first scene is haikaveh uncovering the text and it like freezes to black and white, focusing on the Ancient text they're holding with some background dialouge going like "so you're probably wondering how I got here" with the voiceover being Nahida. Now flashback to an ancient time where The Era of King Deshret has passed but their stories told are still (kinda) accurate-- newly inducted scribe Nahida (5 years old), daughter of the late Lady Rukkadevata, has decided that she want to write about The Definitely True and Hidden Love Story of King Deshret and His Goddess of Flower Nabu Malikata that she discovered from her Late Mother's hidden books. There starts the tale of a grand adventure starting her escape from her definitely-not-power-hungry uncle Azar who definitely did not kill Rukka to going on a journey where she meets many people, asking them about what Hidden Details they could possibly know about King Deshret and Nabu Malikata to make her Definitely Hidden True Love Story more accurate.
So like the thing is that the story Nahida finds from her mom's hidden stuff is a What-If fanfiction if Nabu Malikata lived and they went on their way to Love and Procreate. Yeah she definitely still died as lore accurate to her Epic of Gilgamesh counterpart Enkidu.
--------------------------------------------------------
So yea that's all that I got for now. If anyone does decide this also tickles their plot bunny do tag me so I can see it too.
