Scent is our last raw link with our animal origins, so search for it in an animal way. It was dark, wherever he was. He couldn't see a thing-- it was almost pitch black, and he couldn't see any walls.

It was cold, a strange breeze blowing through the room. A faint light was in the distance, and on instinct he went out towards it.

"you lost?"

elvis whipped around and came face-to-face with a familiar looking man. he was slightly taller, with shaggy black hair and bags under his eyes. he had that same scar on his eyebrow.

"are..." elvis started, unsure. "are you me?"

the older man scratched the back of his head. "afraid so." he laughed lightly, giving the boy in front of him a once over. "man, i miss being young."

"you...how old are you?"

"42."

"but...you look so..." the younger man started, reaching out towards the man in front of him. "tired,"

his older self gave a wary smile. "yeah. i am tired."

"is this...what i'm going to look like? wh-what happens to me?" the younger asked frantically, panic building in his chest.

"you can change this. i'm not for certain if...if you can change it entirely, but this doesn't have to be you." he says. "you can live longer."

"longer..? so i--"

a solemn nod. his blood went cold.

"you have no clue what's going to happen. you're so innocent and young. i miss being like that. like you." he lamented, tiredness running through his voice. "it's not all bad, i promise, just..."

his younger self stood with tears in his eyes as the man before him placed a hand on his shoulder.

with that, he woke with a start. his hair was stuck to his sweaty forehead as he did his best to catch his breath. scotty sat up from the other bed in the small hotel room.

Elvis is definitely the shyer one out of the two, mainly because he's never been with another man before (especially not one this handsome)

Austin is very touchy and affectionate, and it makes E's head spin whenever Austin hugs him or kisses his cheek

W wants to kiss him back but he's too embarrassed to 😭

on the topic of kisses. first kiss was an accident. kind of. Elvis leaned in and pretended to kiss Austin and Aus met him halfway. Elvis went so red and stood up and had to walk a few laps around the house after that

They share clothes! They're roughly the same size, but Austin's clothes tend to be a little loose on Elvis because of his arms. Elvis is always stealing Austin's hoodies.

Austin once walked out of his room wearing a crop top and Elvis spit out his drink. Austin wears crop tops a lot more often now

Austin LOVES teasing Elvis. He'll get all close to him and kiss his cheeks and nose and all over his face just to see Elvis go all red.

Elvis will tease Austin sometimes. He'll act mad and pout just to get his attention

A lot of people hate Chadwick but you know what!! I love him

He loves the beach (obviously) and will lay in the sun all day if he's allowed

He also loves to surf, and he's really good at it! Sometimes he lays on his surfboard and falls asleep on the water.

One time he floated out waaay far and had to wait for help

Now when he naps on the water he makes sure he's tethered to something

He actually likes winter, even though he's a beach bum. He loves how snow looks on the beach

Is favorite holiday is Thanksgiving!! he loves all the food

He really likes Halloween too. He likes to dress up

Even though in the movie it's said he moved to Hawai'i young, I like to think of him as Native Hawaiian

I love Deke!!!!

Deke seems really docile but he has a temper. He doesn't get mad often but when he does, it affects everyone

He is very polite though, always referring to people as sir or ma'am

He's definitely a cat person! He has two named Belle and Jack

Ran away from the orphanage because they didn't accept who he was and kept deadnaming him. Ended up at the cemetery and changed his name to Deke

He lives and dies for pumpkin flavored things. He also likes carving pumpkins.

These two....oh my god

Clint is really cheerful and emotional and smiley, but jess is really deadpan and bad with emotions and Never smiles

When they first meet, Jess is thrown off by how cheery he is

Clint on the other hand, was fascinated by jess and was determined to get a smile out of him

Jess insisted he doesn't smile, but Clint refused to believe that

Clint does eventually get a smile out of Jess, and he doesn't let Jess hear the end of it for days

Jess gives up and admits he feels happy around clint and the boy is ecstatic

They eventually start dating and Clint is surprised at how affectionate Jess is!!

He's always hugging and kissing Clint- even if his face is straight while he does it

Clint tries to give some affection back, but Jess denies him because he doesn't know how to process it

Clint insists and kisses him on his neck scar and Jess just blushes and gets all quiet
