I forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I found these 2 CDs at my local bookstore/ record store Mckay's for both 16$ and I'm very proud to have found them for so cheap, though I don't have a CD player ☹️

"the man with the x-ray eyes" by bauhaus is kind of just goth rock lobster

-be me, a punk who looks very alternative

-go out alone for the first time

-its karaoke

-everyone is singing country, which is to be expected

-oh honey I'm not letting that stand

-sings paparazzi

-all the ladies are like omg I love that song, and one guy fist bumps me, which I did not expect, because he did not look like a little monster at all

-has anxiety attack

-says fuck it we ball and adds deceptacon to queue

-gets up there after waiting for the rest of the people to sing

-says "you should turn my volume down"

-man: the music o-

-me: me.

-man: ok...

-back to me

-starts off saying who took the bomp as scared as possible

-STARTS FUCKING RAGE SINGING

-my legs are quivering so hard but I do it and grab my food to leave

-woman stops me and asked if I've heard of the b-52s

-i say a little bit and that rock lobster has been on repeat for me for a few weeks

-asks to sing with me

-uhm ok

-there is at least 40 minutes worth of music in front of us

-leaves after a bit because although I put the songs in I get too scared and tell her I'll do it next week

-so guess I'm doing that next week

-how the fuck am I going to do Fred Schneider justice
