How are the conversations between the brothers about their original worlds? They compare? Or they just don't talk about it? Have you ever talked about how you got there (I don't know what the ship you're on is called) in the first place?

Thanks for the ask! I’ll start by saying the b.e.n.t AU is not mine, it’s @butterfilledpockets (here’s the AU Masterpost)

I just really like the AU so I doodle them from time to time in goofy or sometimes angsty situations

Any comparison of backstories or their arrival on the ship is a bit more story heavy, therefore, up to butter 🧈

in ur b.e.n.t. au (which i just got through re-reading, wow!!) is there a pre-existing lore reason for why the robots on the keya are so sarcastic/human like? or is that not important / yet to be seen?

apologies for my absence, university has been kicking my ass but the Cowdroids are designed to look like cowboys for a specific reason (which I have yet to unveil)

I will say, they are the ships 'crew' so to say, keeping it in orbit and running, who made them is an entirely different question

as for their sarcasm, they were originally going to be silent, but I found it important they speak to give some context as to what the hell is going on.

I swear, Ronin is the equivalent of "why are we here...? Just to suffer??" In the B.E.N.T. au while his other dimension brothers are causing chaos. Somehow, Ronin is still the youngest, but he also feels like the oldest wrangling a bunch of kindergarteners and trying to make sure they don't set the place on fire. That guy is a walking existential crisis
