finally had a someWhat normal dream I was at my frien'ds old apartment with my old shihtzu bijou He was kind of acting foolish i cant remember the details cus i fell asleep again after. But as i was sitting on the bed watching tokyo mew mew (kish & ichigo scene) This big black & white cat came over to me it Sat on my lap and i was SO touched/honored/in awe that it trusted me enough to sit on me. My friend was glueing together a bouquet of red roses Made of paper and asked if i wanted to go to their neighbors apartment for a Valentines day dinner. I did not want to go because i wanted to stay with the cat watching TMM. But i felt awkward saying no.

one year since i moved out of my mom's house to live on my own. all this clutter and stuff came to the apartment w me but still, i am unable to really call it home. before i even lived there we lived in a different house which i was then longing to return to post-divorce so i know change is inevitable and it's all just part of how life goes but still it's like. will home ever stop feeling like a place and time you only keep growing more distant from every day. idk
#mine#my old bedroom pictures w bonus photo of our living room. i still go there hell im going there tonight we will watch tv as usual#the living room still looks p much exactly the same as it does in that photo w a sofa for each coasters ready fr tea & tv slightly tilted.#and in the room that once was mine i still have a bed to sleep in. but they're not my sheets and there's no personal clutter in sight.#mom got these grey oak cabinets that hold spare blankets and toilet paper. it's her laundry room where she hangs laundry to dry.#the orange wall w my mural is still there. i remember how the sunlight would sometimes hit that wall and reflect back deliciously bright.#she's looking forward to painting it a soothing green maybe later this spring or summer. it's gonna be the final step of redecorating.#im still welcome to stay over but it's not my house anymore. im expected to leave fr an address that doesnt really feel like mine either.#idk ive been feeling like. a tree collecting rings but not being entirely sure the core is still under there yknow. and i wanna go back.

in case u guys r ever residents in a ursing home heres an etiquette lesson its considered rude to loudly talk shit about the housekeeping staff when theres one right next to you and its especially rude if when she passes by you say Thats her ive had her for 2 weeks (i have been cleaning this womans room for 2 months .)

#it's a little frustrating... that this guy who comes into work to wash his hands.... always used the toilet after the fact....#i'm usually in the back and the walls are thin so i can unfortunately hear everything uncomfortably well#and it's happened so many times that i'm sure of it......#so now i feel dirty whenever i use the restroom after him because he visits two-four times a day......#i think i'll just make it a habit to wipe down the handles and everything every time he leaves#also he only flushes like one in every 5 times . - .#BUT why AFTER you wash your hands??? why not pee first???? just pee first?????????
