How to watch dhmis for free while also supporting the creators + why its so important to do so (please share around!):

TLDR: Register to Channel 4 and use a VPN to watch if not in the UK (explanation/how below)

Reason: One of the biggest influences on a tv show is it’s viewership. All of us have watched dhmis, but the network only counts the views on the website/channel itself. This caused a lot of our views to not matter back in 2022, and it may have hurt the creators… Hopefully this isn’t the case, but unfortunately if it is, I’m already two years late to making this post. We can’t undo the past but if we want to help in the future we NEED to actually VIEW the proper way, alright? If a season two does roll around, which hopefully it will, we NEED to ACTUALLY watch it yall!! That will determine the future of the show. We messed up once, we can’t again!

How to watch:

Go to www.channel4.com (or just look up Channel 4 on google or something)

When you’re there, click sign in. If you don’t have an account, look down at the bottom of the screen and hit the word “register”.

The site will ask for your email and stuff, it will also ask for where you live. type in your regular address. however, when you get to the bottom youll realize it only has two country options. Whether or not you live in one of these two options, click one of them anyway. It won’t actually check or matter, but you have to click one in order to get an account.

If you actually live in the UK, you can now watch DHMIS for free with ads on the site. However, if you’re not from the UK, it will deny you. This is how you fix that:

Download a VPN of your choice. You can find plenty of free ones. im using Windscribe on my laptop but any will do. Once you have your VPN, change your location anywhere in the UK and you’re set! Go back to the site and refresh, you’ll be able to watch whatever you want!

All of this (if done right) is completely free and harmless, and helps the creators a bunch! Just remember to turn off your adblockers, the site wont let it run that way. (Check if your VPN has one, mine does, you’ll have to manually turn it off!)

Sometimes adhd turns my brain into scrambley eggs. I want to write, and I have to work, but all I got in there is one fall out boy song on repeate for 4 days and drawings (which due to the sheer amount of drawing vs writing, is basically mindless for me where writing is dyslexic hell lol)

Every time I finish a sketchbook I get consumed with 2-3 days of desire to go through and get pictures & digitally organize all the alpha-draft type thumbnails or comic planning into someplace I could organize my thoughts chronologically better but. Since i haven't done it for any of them yet and i just wrapped up sketchbook #27 it feels, ah. A little daunting lol
