she’s such a little badass. rode balerion!! she was maegor’s heir and jaeherys’ before he had kids. what happened to her was fucked up but also like creepily fascinating.

A FUCKING BADASS LEGEND. we better see how amazing baella is in the show because i love her. she took down sunfyre and injured aegon with moonfyre. climbed out of the red keep so she wouldn’t be forced into a betrothal she didn’t want. my girl is daemon and laena through and through.

the youngest sister of daena, her greatest beauty was known to be her hair. when baelor confines her to the maiden vault, she cut off her braid in hopes that she would be allowed out without her defining feature. it didn’t work, but after baelor’s death she married three times and had an affair with her cousin, alan velaryon. her second husband sat daeron ll’s small council, but she was the one entrusted with the work. she gained influence in court. manipulating the system, you go girl.

Summary: When his daughters have trouble sleeping at night, Daemon goes to comfort them

“They are not sleeping?” Daemon asked when a maid came to the library to fetch him.

“No, my lord.” Tyanna dipped to her knees in a quick curtsy before speaking to him. “They are looking out the window and staring at the beach again.”

The beach. Where Vhagar sleeps. Daemon sighed and rubbed the back of his hand over his eyes. Ever since his wife’s passing, the twins held a nightly vigil by their bedroom window, fearing the great dragon would leave now that her rider was dead.

“Thank you for telling me,” he replied, rising. “I will go to them at once.”

Daemon drained the last of his wine and waited until Tyanna took her leave of him before carefully concealing letters sent to him by his brother within a hidden compartment inside his table. Viserys was begging for him to come home and be a brother to him again, even going so far as to promise healthy dragon hatchlings for his daughters to bond with. He considered refusing the offer, but the prospect of dragon hatchlings for both of his girls was too tempting to resist.

But first, I must see if Vhagar will take to Baella or Rhaena. He preferred to have the great beast bond with one of his own children than to risk her forming a bond with Helaena or Aemond, the dragonless children of Queen Alicent.

Vhagar should be claimed by a true Targaryen, he decided, and not the blood of Otto Hightower. When he entered the chambers shared by his daughters, he found them still awake and still looking out the window of their bedroom and into the moonlit beach, staring at the great beast slumbering on the sand.

“Vhagar is going nowhere,” he called softly by the open door. The twins turned to face him, startled. “And she will not go anywhere. Not until we leave this place.”

“But kepa, what is to stop her from leaving?” Distress wound itself tightly around Daemon’s heart when his firstborn cried. “Dragons are willful things, so what is to stop her from leaving?”

“She is not leaving.” The dragon was a lasting reminder of their mother. The first memory they remember with clarity was their mother taking turns with them when she went flying. Vhagar even welcomed their presence for their mother’s sake. “If she wanted to, she would done so that dreadful night.”

Daemon gathered his children into his arms and carried them to their beds. He kissed them on their cheeks and held them tight. “Do not worry yourselves, sweetlings. Vhagar will remain with us. And on the morrow, I will take you both to the beach. We will see which one of my brave girls she will accept as her next rider.

You know what ? Yeah i'm with Alicent on that one. But I would have square up right now on rhaenyra. Look me in the eyes and tell me you would not square up like that for your son.

I would've gone for rhaenyra not her child cause it's the result of her education. Not only did jace brought a knife to the ambush against his cousin like alicent point it out but imagine not even getting the shadow of a sorry cause we all know raenyra would've not apologize ?

My best friend likes to take lessons from the shows she watches, and this habit of hers occasionally makes me think about TV in light of what lessons can be learned.

And I think the lesson of Alicent Hightower is this: in a patriarchal world, there will always be someone waiting to pit women with power against each other. So when someone tells you another woman is your enemy, go to her and make her your friend. They wouldn't be trying to pit you against each other if they didn't fear what power you could weild together.

Imagine if Alicent and Rhaenyra had remained friends. Imagine what Rhaenyra could do as queen, with the former queen at her side and all their children united. With Baella, Rhaena, and Rhaenys united with them too. All these powerful women! Imagine how different the rest of the Targaryen history might have looked.

Are we going to see more of Jace in future chapters? Is he as bad as his mother or does he have any redeemable qualities? I know he asked her about Aemma but he didn’t really have a big reaction when Rheanyra said he’ll probably have to marry Baella instead and that Aemma is lost. Does he just not care or does he not want to show his mother his reaction? He cared enough to bring it up so I guess that’s something. He seemed rather determined to win her over when they were betrothed before the war so I was just wondering if he harbors any romantic feelings for her even if she might not return them

Also I can’t wait until the confrontation between reader and Rhaenyra when reader finds out that Rhaenyra did fuck all to keep readers kids safe while her own children are no where even near the war. Reader should beat her ass like Maddie in euphoria

This Jace, as the one in the series (according to me), wants to the the best heir as he can... mmmm it's weird to explain, but... let's try

He takes patience in his sword training, he practices his high Valyrian, he tries to show himself Strong hehe, and serious, alongside his mother, he speaks with seriousness... He wants to adopt the attitude he thinks an heir should have. He tries to impose, to act with solemnity

Does he love Aemma? i'm not sure, he loves what it represents, a "perfect" targaryen princess, she looks and seems this perfect al ittle thing, she knows how to ride a dragon, reads history and philosophy, sows... and this union was chosen by the King himself, for him, it is a great honor! It will unite his family! (and take it away from aemond hehe)

But at the same time, when he realizes he cannot get her back, and that she truly have feelings for Aemond (everyone could see it), he becomes cold towards the idea of her. He wants to seem "professional" to his mother. So he doesn't quite react when she told him that... He will do as he is told...

I don't think we are going to see more of him... according to my plans, and I regret it, because lately (like... yesterday), I started reading things about him and I have to say.... it interest me... so let's see next chapter
