Under normal circumstances, he wouldn't feel quite so bristly about someone encroaching on his space. He wouldn't be thrilled, but he wouldn't feel the urge to chase them off, maybe while yipping and barking. He fights that urge here in front of this man; he hasn't done anything wrong yet. Kokichi can gauge later whether or not he needs to chase him off.

"Do you want something?" he asks, looking up. "I don't have any food here." That part is a lie - he has a cache buried nearby - but what strangers don't know won't hurt them.

⠀⠀⠀ONE ⠀of the many marvels to be found here was the readiness with which one could have just about any food to complement any meal. Breakfast, for example, would be readily available according to the preferences of any given continent — along with those she's never set foot in, be they regions or entire new universes. This proved to provide its own share of difficulty, though; while not opposed to doing her own legwork, it was admittedly a tad daunting to have so many options practically at her fingertips. Something she normally wouldn't think twice about became an entirely different affair... but that's what good manners were for, yes ?

He corners the man out of curiosity, finding him not quite human but not knowing why. On a typical day this would be harmless, but a Kyubey standing nearly seven feet tall poses a more subconscious threat. Tail twitching, the incubator moves in to poke the man with the tip of his ear.
