#hazbin hotel #hazbin lucifer #hazbin hotel lucifer #lucifer morningstar #lulu #rexy posting #i'd actually expected to postpone Lulu Birthday Cake for myself because i ended up moving which i hadn't expected at the start of this year #and custom cakes are 'Spensive #but i really wanted a Lulu Birthday Cake this year since it's The Hazbin Year #so i was just going to wait an extra month or two until i had some spending money again #bUT HE LET ME CELEBRATE ON TIME WITH THE CAKE I WANTED :'D #we didn't get a fantastic photo of the cake + candles before or while using the candles but oh my gosh still SO delightful and amazing #ALSO FOR PERSONAL RECORD AND ANYONE CURIOUS: i used a version of the linked images that used the 'intended outcome' colors #but with a more vibrant purple background #i did not use the 'extra vibrant + will be adjusted with CMYK printing' colors and i think i should have.#if i get something else printed from that bakery i'll do that and see how it turns out 'cause i'm curious

#At the training center when Peeta showed Katniss his camouflaged arm #She mentions how good the lighting of the painting is #She's skeptical about him being able to replicate so well how the sun looks when it comes through the foliage #Given that the closest he usually got to something similar is the only tree that his family has at the bakery #But is so easy to picture a tiny Peeta getting the trash out and being mesmerized by the current state of the sky #And probably getting scolded by that moldy bread that was his mother for “taking too long” to coming back #But stubbornly holding onto this habit and never letting go #And just keeping admiring the sky #Because it does have the prettiest colors at sunrise (when bakers are already up)#And at sundown (everyone knows what that means)#Or whenever clouds decide to look like they'd be an absolute delight to get close to #Katniss mentions there's not much beauty to look at in their district #But Peeta's eyes got trained with time to know where to find it #the hunger games #peeta mellark #catching fire #mockingjay #thg

it's just so much more enjoyable to go through my life looking in the mirror and saying "I'm so fucking cute, how can anyone else stand it" compared to the more traditional practice of looking in the mirror and trying to dissect everything that isn't perfect. And it's not like it's a one-day process or an easy process to get there, but it's very much worth it. I've aged and I've gained weight and I've gotten sicker and still, still I'm so much happier than I used to be, and I'm so grateful for that and I'm so glad that I made it here.

I’m having a stubborn cold lately, but being home for Christmas is like a warm hug. Despite the sniffles, I was determined to whip up a Christmas cake because, let’s be real, my mom can’t get enough of it.

Watching her face light up is the best holiday view for me. My pals are craving a slice, but they’re all over the place. Hoping that, someday, I can treat all my favorite people to a taste of the cakes I bake.

why yes i am four pages into the epilogue i'm not even posting in its entirety (tho i do promise a fun little preview) instead of working on the actual last chapter!!! train trips and agonizing visits home are the MOST FUN 😍

me n my brother went to the store thats across the street for the first time n it was so cool :)
