I realised I've never drawn Durga as four-armed Katyayani. So here She is:
Tumblr media
(Yes, I'm aware Katyayani is actually depicted holding different astras. But I figured these would look good on Her)
Also, a pic of Bakreshwar Mahishamardini Devi for everyone:

Aghori Baba from Tamilnadu / South India staying at Bakreswar Temple, West Bengal - Shakthi peet temple.
Ordinary people  (Pasu -  have no curiosity to explore what is BEYOND BASIC THOUGHT ) ,  will be skeptical about Tantric practices.
Only few are given curiosity to go beyond scepticism   and explore higher things
After “Chakra anustan” Aghori baba says “ Sarvam khalvidam Brahmam” - Everything we  experience is Divine
Divine God is going through experiences by the drama (thiruvilayadal) enacted through us.
We share all experiences of our life with a “collective consciousness “ GOD

Shiva Idol at Ancient Ruin in Gorkha, Nepal This archeological site near Bakreshwar Mahadev Temple is a nascent discovery and not named yet. Locals propitiate these phallic structures as Shiva Lingam, and have taken initiatives in promoting this place along with the trekking routes while there has been no attention from Government whatsoever. Raghunath Parichha
Raghunath Parichha Indian Oriya-language writer
Kabichandra Raghunath Parichha (1802-72) was an ancient poet of Odisha. He was born in Paralakhemundi. He has enriched Odissi music, drama and literature by writing many poems and poems about Gopinath Mahaprabhu. Raghunath Parichha was a contemporary of Gaurahari Parichha, one of the most famous poets of Paralakhemundi. In addition to his poetry, he gained fame as an astrologer and singer.
Life--
Raghunath Parichha was born in Cuttackia Sahi in Paralakhemundi to the famous 'Parichha' dynasty of Paralakhemundi from the descendants of his father Chandrashekhar Parichha and mother Haramani. Raghunath composed the play Mr. Gopinath Ballabh in 1868. It is a high drama and the first play of the Oriya language. The influence of this Shri Gopinath Ballabh play is evident in the Prahlad play written by Gaurahari. Her ex-husband, Lihuri Gopinath, is said to have qualified for the Rajya Sabha and passed the examination. That's why they called it a panda. The word parichha is just a misnomer of the word test. He was appointed president of the Brahmin clan by the Maharaja. .
During the Parla Gundicha pilgrimage, he served ghee to the ruling Brahmins. This was the custom of the Rajarajuda harvest in Parla. Raghunath's ancestor Bakreshwar was a well-known poet of Pandit Parla. Lihuri Gopinath Jiu was his ancestral deity and he performed the Nilasaraswati mantra there. This information is written on the seventh page of his Radhamadhav Bilas.
Title--
Raghunath Kabichandra was awarded the title of Puri Mukti Mandap. There he sang some songs, introducing his deep knowledge. One of the songs is sung in the morning. On 1838, when he was awarded the title, he met Gaurish's Ray, who invited him to Cuttack to greet him.
Composition--
Most of Kabichandra's books are written in Oriya. These published books are Lakshana Chandrodaya, Radhamadhav Bilas, Sangeet Ramayana, Radhakrishna Leela, Taal Sarvasar and Granthodaya. Most of his works are unpublished: Sangeet Ramlila, Sangeet Krishnalila, Sangeet Ratnakar, Basudev Natak, Krishna Chand, Ram and Mukta Natika.
Signs of the moon--
One of Raghunath's major achievements was the book Laksana Chandrodaya. This book describes the subtle features of poetry and music. It consists of inscriptions, prasanupras, rest yati, pradyapadya, chhand, nad, shruti, raga, ornaments and many more. It was published in 1957 by the Odisha Sahitya Akademi.

🕉 🚩🔱 🇮🇳⠀ ⠀ Tārāpīṭh is a Hindu temple in Chandipur village Rampurhat II CD block in Rampurhat subdivision of Birbhum district of the Indian state of West Bengal, known for its Tantric temple and its adjoining cremation (Maha Shashan) grounds where sādhanā (tantric rituals) are performed. The Tantric Hindu temple is dedicated to the goddess Tara, a fearsome Tantric aspect of the Devi, the chief temples of Shaktism. Tarapith derives its name from its association as the most important centre of Tara worship.⠀ ⠀ Tarapith is also famous for Sadhak Bamakhepa, known as the avadhuta or "mad saint", who worshipped in the temple and resided in the cremation grounds as a mendicant and practised and perfected yoga and the tantric arts under the tutelage of another famous saint, Kailashpathi Baba. Bamakhepa dedicated his entire life to the worship of Tara Maa. His ashram is also located in bank of Dwaraka river and close to the Tara temple.⠀ ⠀ According to one popular belief, an insulted Sati, the wife of Shiva, sacrificed herself at a yagna (fire worship ritual) which was being performed by her father Dakshmaharaj. Angry with this incident Shiva started the Tandava Nritya (Dance of Destruction). In order to prevent destruction of all creation, Lord Vishnu used his Sudershan charka (wheel) to cut the body of Sati into several parts. Sati's body was scattered all over what is presently the Indian subcontinent. There are 51 such holy spots where temples have been erected and they are called Pithas or the Soti Pithas. Some of the Pithas are in West Bengal. The most popular of them are Kalighat (in Kolkata}, Bakreshwar. The Name Tarapith Originated Because Of Eye Ball(Tara) Of Sati Fell Here.⠀ ⠀ It is believed that the eyeball of Sati fell down at Tarapith. In Bengali, the eye ball is called 'Tara' and that is why the name of the village was changed from the earlier Chandipur to Tarapith.⠀ ⠀ ⠀ Rest in comments 👇 ⠀ ⠀ 📸 DM for credits⠀ ⠀ Feel 🆓 to share and bookmark 🔖 ⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #TarapithTemple #templearchitecture #templelife #tantriktemple #westbengaltourism #westbengaldiaries #reclaimtemples #swipeleft #westbengal #jaimaatara #tarapith #westbengalpictures #Birbhum #Bamakhepa (at Mahapith Tarapith- মহাপীঠ তারাপীঠ- महापीठ तारापीठ) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHf3bFglIUh/?igshid=qhojl2nvzgch
