Things Biden and the Democrats did, this week #14
April 12-19 2024
The Department of Commerce announced a deal with Samsung to help bring advanced semiconductor manufacturing and research and development to Texas. The deal will bring 45 billion dollars of investment to Texas to help build a research center in Taylor Texas and expand Samsung's Austin, Texas, semiconductor facility. The Biden Administration estimates this will create 21,000 new jobs. Since 1990 America has fallen from making nearly 40% of the world's semiconductor to just over 10% in 2020.
The Department of Energy announced it granted New York State $158 million to help support people making their homes more energy efficient. This is the first payment out of a $8.8 billion dollar program with 11 other states having already applied. The program will rebate Americans for improvements on their homes to lower energy usage. Americans could get as much as $8,000 off for installing a heat pump, as well as for improvements in insulation, wiring, and electrical panel. The program is expected to help save Americans $1 billion in electoral costs, and help create 50,000 new jobs.
The Department of Education began the formal process to make President Biden's new Student Loan Debt relief plan a reality. The Department published the first set of draft rules for the program. The rules will face 30 days of public comment before a second draft can be released. The Administration hopes the process can be finished by the Fall to bring debt relief to 30 million Americans, and totally eliminate the debt of 4 million former students. The Administration has already wiped out the debt of 4.3 million borrowers so far.
The Department of Agriculture announced a $1 billion dollar collaboration with USAID to buy American grown foods combat global hunger. Most of the money will go to traditional shelf stable goods distributed by USAID, like wheat, rice, sorghum, lentils, chickpeas, dry peas, vegetable oil, cornmeal, navy beans, pinto beans and kidney beans, while $50 million will go to a pilot program to see if USAID can expand what it normally gives to new products. The food aid will help feed people in Bangladesh, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Ethiopia, Haiti, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Nigeria, Rwanda, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, and Yemen.
The Department of the Interior announced it's expanding four national wildlife refuges to protect 1.13 million wildlife habitat. The refuges are in New Mexico, North Carolina, and two in Texas. The Department also signed an order protecting parts of the Placitas area. The land is considered sacred by the Pueblos peoples of the area who have long lobbied for his protection. Security Deb Haaland the first Native American to serve as Interior Secretary and a Pueblo herself signed the order in her native New Mexico.
The Department of Labor announced new work place safety regulations about the safe amount of silica dust mine workers can be exposed to. The dust is known to cause scaring in the lungs often called black lung. It's estimated that the new regulations will save over 1,000 lives a year. The United Mine Workers have long fought for these changes and applauded the Biden Administration's actions.
The Biden Administration announced its progress in closing the racial wealth gap in America. Under President Biden the level of Black Unemployment is the lowest its ever been since it started being tracked in the 1970s, and the gap between white and black unemployment is the smallest its ever been as well. Black wealth is up 60% over where it was in 2019. The share of black owned businesses doubled between 2019 and 2022. New black businesses are being created at the fastest rate in 30 years. The Administration in 2021 Interagency Task Force to combat unfair house appraisals. Black homeowners regularly have their homes undervalued compared to whites who own comparable property. Since the Taskforce started the likelihood of such a gap has dropped by 40% and even disappeared in some states. 2023 represented a record breaking $76.2 billion in federal contracts going to small business owned by members of minority communities. This was 12% of federal contracts and the President aims to make it 15% for 2025.
The EPA announced (just now as I write this) that it plans to add PFAS, known as forever chemicals, to the Superfund law. This would require manufacturers to pay to clean up two PFAS, perfluorooctanoic acid and perfluorooctanesulfonic acid. This move to force manufacturers to cover the costs of PFAS clean up comes after last week's new rule on drinking water which will remove PFAS from the nation's drinking water.
Bonus:
President Biden met a Senior named Bob in Pennsylvania who is personally benefiting from The President's capping the price of insulin for Seniors at $35, and Biden let Bob know about a cap on prosecution drug payments for seniors that will cut Bob's drug bills by more than half.

The Winchesters is just about how war affects children, huh?
John: The very start we see his PTSD and he has several panic attacks several times. He was 17 when he joined the marines. I saw some say it was because he’s just a violent person and I disagree with that, I think that John was searching for some sort of structure that he lacked. Also considering he was raised by a single mother in the 50s-60s they probably didn’t have a lot of money and couldn’t pay for him to go to college (friendly reminder that women weren’t allowed to have their own credit cards until 1974, 2 years after the show takes place and 4 years after John enlists). The US military loves to boast that they will pay for peoples college if they enlist. When John gets home he’s immediately thrown back into another war. He is never given time to adjust back to normal life.
Mary: She was told her entire life that it is kill or be killed. Her parents never comforted her, never told her that they could protect her, they told her that she needed to protect herself. And this isn’t because they know about the supernatural. When John says he’d afraid of the monster under his bed Henry doesn’t give him a weapon or train him to fight. Henry tells John that he knows how to trap the monster, letting John know that Henry can protect him, that John doesn’t have to worry. Henry wasn’t going to tell John about the supernatural until he was ready. Samuel and Deanna didn’t they told Mary everything before she was ready. They dragged her into a war that she had no choice but to be apart of.
Carlos: He had no intention of being part of the Vietnam War but he had no choice, paralleling how he became a hunter, he had no choice. Carlos has a very similar experience to my grandpa. He was also in the Navy during the Vietnam War except he was on a submarine looking for other submarines. Same as Carlos he was looking for something that was looking back at him. Carlos knew about the supernatural before he went into the Navy, there was some part of him that was used to knowing that there are things watching you in the dark, but there weren’t monsters watching him in the dark like he was used to it was just other people. They were just as scared as he was. This is where Mary’s war differs between Carlos and John’s because they weren’t fighter monsters, things that were objectively bad and trying to destroy the world, they were other people and to them Carlos and John were just as much monsters as they were to Carlos and John.
Lata: She’s a pacifist because she saw what war did to her father and didn’t want to be like him. She also saw her country quite literally be divided. Lata talks about how war affected her country and that war is obviously Partition. She is Northern Indian which is confirmed in episode 3, it’s not said what part of north India she’s from but she would have still grown up very close to the Pakistan-India border or Bangladesh (then East Pakistan [even though the show takes place in 1972 and Bangladesh became independent in 1971, it would have still been East Pakistan when Lata still lived there])-India board. Lata was most like not alive in 1947 when Partition happened but was still a witness to it affects when she was born sometime in the early 50s.

Now that I’ve had some time to digest my dig on Nicaragua, I went back and looked at the NIH.gov Appendix on biolabs in “Lower Resource Countries”.
And oh man there is some JUICE in this document. I’m going to list all the countries I found interesting other than Nicaragua and Nigeria that I covered earlier.
Bangladesh- there are 4 BSL-2 labs listed. One funded by the US CDC, 2 funded by the USAID, on funded by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and one is also funded by the OIE which is the World Organization for Animal Health. Keep in mind the focus of the Russian Military on Veterinary labs. Deep State using animals as vectors to spread pathogens.
Democratic Republic of the Congo- there is 1 BSL-3 lab funded by the US GOV via the Presidential Malaria Initiative.
Egypt- there is 1 BSL-2 and 1 BSL-3 lab listed, the BSL-3 is directly funded by the US DoD via US Navy Medical Research. Keep in mind Russia accused elements of US Navy research of being implicated in the biological network in Ukraine. Think Walter Reed and Fort Detrick.
Ethiopia- there are 5 BSL-3 labs listed. One is funded by the US GOV, in is funded by the World Bank, and the others are funded by other countries or unknown funding. My question is, why the hell does the World Bank have a BSL-3 biolab in Ethiopia?
Georgia- there is 1 BSL-3 listed that is funded by the US GOV. Another whopping 8 BSL-3 labs with no data listed. Georgia has been the source of many accusations from Russia in the past about the US creating bioweapons, dating back to 2014.
Ghana- there are 5 BSL-3 labs in Ghana. With a high presence of US and Canadian funding.
Haiti- there are 3 BSL-3 labs, all of which are completely funded by the US GOV. The CDC, NIH, Armed Forces. Huge American presence in Haiti. Think Clinton Foundation.
India- there are 44 BSL-3 labs in India and 1 BSL-4 lab, which is funded by the WHO. There’s no nefarious details to report on here. India has 1.4 billion people so this many labs is not as wild as you might think. But I would like to point out that India did a much better job stopping the spread of C19 and has a vastly different approach than the Western Hemisphere. They prescribed a cocktail of preventative medicine which included Ivermectin. Funny how there is no US involvement and India was logical and successful. Imagine that.
Indonesia- there are 22 listed BSL-3 labs, 8 Veterinary labs, and 10 unknowns. Many of these are funded by US GOV, Japanese GOV, and Indonesian GOV.
Kenya- there are 9 BSL-3 labs, funded by the US Army Medical Research Unit.
Ukraine- there 4 listed BSL-3 labs in Ukraine part of the FSU (Former Soviet Union Thread Reduction). According to the NIH, “No funding described”. Think Hunter Biden.
There are a lot more countries than what I listed. Please look for yourselves. This is just a snapshot of the type of network we are dealing with and the overall scale of the US biological capabilities worldwide.
I don’t know how this gets cleaned up, if it gets cleaned up, or if it will be bloody or not. But I can assure you, humanity will not survive on our current path. The world needs correction, and I can sense it’s coming soon.

Y'all it's Indian Navy day. So happy Indian Navy day either way.
"The Indian Navy - Combat ready, credible, cohesive."
'Sam No Varunah' - the Indian Navy motto.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Indian navy was officially founded in 1950. It's been 72 years since they sailed and protected our coastal areas, and continue to.
The Indian navy chose today to celebrate the official Navy day in order to highlight and remember the great victory in the 1971 war, during 'operation trident'. This is also to remind that the Indian Navy played a big role in the 1971 which was the reason for Bangladesh's birth.
For not just today, we must remember to appreciate all these fearless warriors who brave the seas everyday to protect their motherland and India's maritime interest every single second.
As years pass, our Navy has crept up and has joined the list of 'top 10 strongest navies'. Currently as sources tell us our nation's Navy is the 7th strongest in the world. But the Indian navy doesn't plan to be in this place any longer, and has been doing extensive changes to grow more powerful. Fr getting the most recent-technology to making indigenous ships, the Indian Navy has come a long way.
And forever must we indian respect these fearless defenders of our sea and land. Jai hind!

Putin Cancels Grain Deal After Attacks
LOS ANGELES (OnlineColumnist.com), Oc.t. 29, 2022.--Calling Russian’s cancellation of the grain deal that allowed Ukraine and Russia to ship grain stockpiles out of Russian-controlled Ukrainian ports, 79-year-old President Joe Biden called the move “purely outrageous.”  But Russian President Vladimir Putin didn’t cancel the deal out of the blue, he cancelled after Ukraine hit Russia’s Sevastopol naval base with drones. Ukraine’s 44-year-old President Volodymyr Zelensky said recently he wants Russian forces out of Crimea, home to Russia’s warm water fleet in Sevastopol.  When Putin agreed July 23 to allow grain shipments to proceed from Russian controlled Ukrainian ports, the U.N. guaranteed that no attacks would take place by Ukrainian forces.  U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, 73, worked feverishly to convince warring factions to allow millions of tons of grain to go out to third world countries, primarily in Africa to prevent mass starvation.
Zelensky denied that Kiev attacked Russian ships with drones, putting the blame squarely on Putin.  “More than 2 million tons of food are in the sea,” Zelensky said in his nightly address.  “Algeria, Egypt, Yemen, Bangladesh, Vietnam, other could all be destabilized by this Russia decision to block exports,” Zelensky said.  What Zelensky doen’t say is that he sabotaged the grain-for-peace program by hitting Russian ships in Sevastopol with drones.  “It’s going to increase starvation,” Biden said, blaming Putin for the cruel move.  “There’s no reason for them to do that.  But they’re always looking for some rationale to be able to say the reason they’re doing something outrageous is because the West made them do it.  And there’s just no merit to what they’re doing,” Biden said.  Biden and Zelensky have a choice to continue the proxy war against the Russian Federation or go to the peace table.
Biden and Zelensky have showed no interest in making peace in Ukraine.  Zelensky admits that Putin controls the ports needed to ship grains out of Ukraine.  But what Zelensky never admits to over the last eight months is that he’s lost 25% of Ukraine’s territory to the Kremlin, making the war a disaster.  No one would be talking about Putin canceling a grain deal with Zelensky would agree to go the peace table and resolve the eight-month long conflict.  Biden too acts like he has no choice to change the war, continuing to supply Kiev with unlimited cash-and-lethal arms.  If Biden and Zelensky want to start negotiating with Putin, they need to let U.N. peacemakers do their jobs and find a suitable neutral territory to resolve outstanding issues.  If Biden and Zelensky really care about grain shipments to the third world, they need to move the conflict from the battlefield to the peace table.
Since Aug, nearly nine millions tons of grain have been shipped from Russian-controlled Ukrainian ports.  Ukraine refuses to comment on the massive attacks on Russian’s Sevastopol navy base.  Calling the suspension of grain transit indefinitely, Russia’s Foreign Ministry said Russia would try to discuss that situation with Istanbul.  Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has offered Istanbul as a neutral cite to resolve the Ukraine War.  Russian’s Foreign Ministry said that the ship targeted by Ukrainian drones were involved in the safe passage of grain shipments.  Russian officials said the drone attacks were coordinated with British forces, something the U.K. denies.  Whatever happened in Sevastopol, Russia didn’t bomb it’s own fleet, pointing fingers at Kiev. So if Zelensky ordered the bombing of Russia’s warm water fleet in Sevastopol, he wanted to sabotage the fragile grain arrangement.
Biden and Zelensky have many options open to them to bring the war to a close. Putin has offered a peace deal based on the pre-war territories, where Russian separatists in Donetsk and Luhansk controlled the territory.  Putin asked that Crimea be recognized by Kiev as a sovereign Russian territory, since it was part of Russia before Russian Premier Nikita Khrushchev gifted Crimea in 1954 while Ukraine was a Soviet satellite. Before the Feb. 24 invasion, Zelensky had no control over Donetsk and Luhansk, both Russian-speaking territories wanting no part of the Kiev government.  When it came to Crimea, Ukraine would still hold Crimea if they didn’t join a CIA-backed coup Feb. 22, 2014 to topple the Kremlin-backed government of Viktor Yanukovych.  Putin hosted the Sochi winter Olympics at the time, knowing the coup threatened his Sevastopol navy base, seizing Crimea March 1, 2022.
Biden and Zelensky can rant-and-rave about Putin but it gets them nowhere.  Zelensky has done more damage to Ukraine than any leader in modern history.  Under what self-destructive rationale did he decide to take on the Russian Federation?  What did Zelensky think would happen to his sacred homeland?  Fighting now to reclaim land lost to the Kremlin over the last eight months, Zelensky keeps digging Ukraine into a deeper hole.  Biden and Zelensky, if they really care about feeding the third world, other than using the grain issue to slam Putin, they’d move the Ukraine conflict off the battlefield to the peace table.  U.N. peacekeepers are ready to broker a fair-and-impartial peace to get Ukraine back the lion’s share of its lost sovereign territory.  If Zelensky has to compromise to secure last peace for his people, then it’s the right thing to do. Keeping the war going serves no one.

China says U.S. MH-60 Seahawks violated their airspace two days in a row
Fernando Valduga By Fernando Valduga 02/09/2022 - 08:23in Military, War Zones
China claimed that U.S. Navy MH-60 Seahawks helicopters violated their territorial airspace 12 nautical miles from their coast on August 28 and 29.
On Sunday, an intense exchange between a U.S. military plane and the Chinese air force was recorded by Taiwanese aviation observers, Taiwan News reported.
The U.S. military aircraft allegedly approached the east coast of China from the Taiwan Strait at 8:14 a.m. and received warnings in Mandarin and English, with the latter stating "I am the Chinese Air Force, you are approaching my airspace, leave immediately, or we will intercept". About 25 minutes later, the American pilot replied: "I am a United States military aircraft carrying out lawful military activities in international airspace and exercising these rights guaranteed by international law. I am operating with due respect for the rights and duties of all states."
After both sides repeated the same message the next hour, the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army (PLA) broadcaster at 10:32 a.m. can be heard saying in Mandarin and English: "This is the Chinese Air Force of the PLA, you entered the airspace of the territory of China, a serious violation of China's sovereignty, leave immediately, leave immediately!"
Tumblr media
On Monday, around 10 a.m., the PLA alerted a U.S. military plane that would be approaching its airspace. The U.S. aircraft continued its course and was asked to leave immediately after entering Chinese airspace.
In the two days, American aircraft left Chinese airspace after being intercepted by PLA military aircraft.
The Facebook military enthusiasts page Taiwan ADIZ, stated that on Monday, there were two cases of MH-60 Seahawks entering China's 12-mile nautical border. In addition, the representative said that on August 31, Japanese military aircraft were warned by the ELP that they were approaching China's territorial airspace.
Tumblr media
The Seahawks MH-60 are probably one of the Ticonderoga-class guided missile cruisers, the USS Antietam (CG 54) and the USS Chancellorsville (CG 62), which entered the Taiwan Strait on August 28. Both warships carry two Sikorsky SH-60B or MH-60R Seahawk LAMPS III Helicopters.

Virtual Reality Ideas for Museum Industry
Virtual Reality (VR) is a significant trend in museums, offering a unique and captivating experience that transports visitors to new dimensions within an exhibit. It allows curators to contextualize objects and showcase their true scale, revolutionizing how visitors engage with art and history.
Tumblr media
Here are some examples of museums using VR:
Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute: Launched a range of VR experiences in 2016, allowing visitors to journey to the depths of the ocean, outer space, or even inside the human body.
V&A Museum in London: Unveiled the “Curious Alice” exhibition, a playful VR experience immersing visitors in Alice’s whimsical world.
Louvre: Launched ‘Mona Lisa: Beyond the Glass’, a VR experience that explores the Renaissance painting as part of its Leonardo da Vinci blockbuster exhibition.
Peterson Automotive Museum in Los Angeles: Worked with Microsoft HoloLens to create a VR experience where visitors could interact with a classic American sports car, the Ford GT40.
Bangabandhu Military Museum in Bangladesh: The three wings of the main building accommodates Bangladesh Army, Navy and Air Force separately.
