A little about the scene where Tankhun is burning joss paper for Pete:
This is not a funeral.
They are burning joss paper (also known as hell money) for Pete in the afterlife, whom we realise is still alive shortly after. I don’t know that much about the practice, but from what I do know, this is a form of ancestor worship, but it can also be done for family members or people you know who are dead. You only really do it if you care for the deceased.
The burning of the joss paper is meant to provide for the deceased in their afterlife, as well as to appease King Yama, who is the ruler of Hell. The items burnt are supposed to be replicas of what the living have.

The human effigies on the very right of the table are a replacement for living offerings, which were things like animals, but also humans. Over time, living offerings changed and they became replaced by things, such as grass and terracotta.
(An example of this is Emperor Qin Shi Huang’s unearthed tomb and the terracotta warriors, although evidence of living offerings were actually also found in the tomb. Sorry, I was a little obsessed with this for a while.)

Wild thought: Does Korn allow two of his sons to do whatever they want because from his experience with his own brother, Karn, two members of the same family being in the business will cause problems, like the ones he's currently facing?
This would explain why he likely bought the win in Kinn's singing competition, back when Kinn was presumably still just the spare and Tankhun was still the heir to the mafia empire.
It then makes sense why he isn't pushing present day Tankhun or Kim to be in the business, since there's Kinn, who is his current heir. Korn chooses to let his oldest son be eccentric and youngest be a musician.
By allowing two of his sons to do things that have nothing to do with his empire, Korn is able to throw his support behind Kinn and when Kinn takes over, there won't be anyone supporting his brothers to take over instead, since neither has developed any ties or power in that world.
This completely solidifies Kinn's power and position as heir and also rids Kinn of the future potential power play that might arise amongst the brothers otherwise.
You could also argue that this move will also help the three brothers maintain their relationship, since they won't be fighting, like Korn and Karn are currently doing, but that's for another post.

Visually speaking, there’s so much call back here: They are on the boat that Kinn asked Porsche to be his bodyguard and in the background, is Wat Arun, where Kinn and Porsche first kissed on the pier and then ended their first date.
Of course, there’s also the fact that Tankhun is excited to be going out with his brother and his brother’s friends, which is completely different from the Tankhun in episode 2, who chose to stay away from people and not leave his home.

8月6號 Day 26: Green tunnel, tree house, temple, Hayahshi department store, and KARAOKE!!
Today is our last day in Tainan so Yeh Laoshi let us sleep in before we start any group activities. After waking up and getting ready, I went to a chicken place that was right next to the hotel with Jacob and Jasmine. The food was pretty good. Definetly the best chicken I have had in Taiwan but it still was not that good. The conclusion that I have reached is that chicken in Taiwan is not the best choice of meat and that I should always go with pork. But after lunch, we all got on the bus at 1pm and today we finally started doing some karaoke! It was so much fun. We had about an hour drive to our first location and we all sang karaoke all the way there. I got to sing Shiny from moana which was so fun.
So our first stop was at the Annan district right on the coast of Tainan city. We did a boat ride and got to wear floral hats. The boat ride was directly behind the Sihcao Dajhong Temple and it led us through a creek called Sicao Green Tunnel. On the boat ride we saw some cool birds and crabs. We also had some closer than we wanted to interactions with the low hanging branches. We had to duck a couple times to avoid being hit by a tree. Then we got back on the bus, sang some more karaoke while traveling to our next destination: The Anping Tree House. It wasn't an actual house in the trees, rather it wa a house that trees grew around and made themselves part of. We also got to practice our calligraphy here.
Our next stop was the confucious temple. Like most temples we have been to, it is a big courtyard with a shrine in the middle. We walked around the courtyard and saw some of the musical instruments that they used during their celebrations. There were different string instruments, flutes, and a lot of bells. Then we went to our final stop, the Hayashi department store. This building is famous because it is the second department store ever built in Taiwan. We were able to take the famous elevator and see some cool things they were selling. After a quick scan of all 5 floors, some of us went out to get food from 7-Eleven because we were so hungry. Then when we made it back we got on the bus and sang more karaoke all the way back to the hotel. At the hotel I ended up staying up late and while my roomate Andy was asleep, I locked myself out of the room. After ringing the doorbell a couple times, finding no luck, I made my way down stairs to the front desk with no shoes on. The 2 workers politely helped me get back in my room and then I finally went to sleep.
Academic reflection
Our first stop was very interesting because of the reason for the temple. It is for the worship of Dazhong Yeh, who was the only guy of Taiwanese birth to ever be deified by a Chinese emporer. This temple was first built in the 1700s but has been rebuilt multiple times since then. The place it was built also used to be a battle ground and the river behind it used to be a Dutch draining ditch. A place with a lot of history with the Dutch.
The Anping tree house was also very cool. It was originally a company warehouse. It was used to store salt for the Japanese during their colonial period. After WW2 the company moved and the abandoned building became overrun by the surrounding banyan trees. An interesting story of how people are able to turn around things for the better.
At the confucious temple, Peter told us something i didn't know which is that people who follow confucious's teachings at this temple don't worship a statue like in Buddhism. On the contrary, the shrine was actually empty and they just use it as a divine place.
We did a lot today and experienced some cool historic places.

As mentioned earlier, let us discuss the shrines under the great banyan tree at Puri. The banyan tree (Ficus benghalensis) is one of the most venerated trees in Indian culture. It is difficult to ascertain the age of this tree. Legend has it that during the deluge (Pralaya), lord Vishnu was lying on a leaf of this tree in Puri. This form was seen and worshipped by sage Markandeya.

As a testimony to that, the deity of Vata Patra Sayi is present under the Banyan tree. Next to him are the footprints of Markandeya and a small Shiva Linga known as Markandeshwara. Towards our left side is a temple of Ganesha also known as Chintamani (wish-fulfilling) Ganapati. This deity is among the 3 powerful Ganesha temples in the Jagannath temple complex.
We have discussed 2 Patita Pavanas in the previous post. The 3rd one is Vata Jagannath, also known as Vata Patita Pavana. This deity is a replica of the original deity in the main temple. During the invasion of Puri, the main temple was sealed by a brick wall and this deity was worshipped.
On the other side, there are small temples of Mangala Devi and Indrani Devi. Mangala Devi is responsible for protecting the Garbha Griha and Indrani Devi is worshipped by the locals for rain. Indrani Devi's deity used to be in the kitchen, but she was shifted here due to the excessive smoke from the stoves.
Towards our right is a stairway to the main temple, but it serves as an exit. The main temple entrance is on the opposite side. Towards the left side, there is a way that leads to the South gate. On the left side of the gate, there is a small shrine of Simhachala Narasimha Swami. He resembles the deity of Simhachalam.
Proceeding to the front, there is a small pillared hall called Mukti Mandapam where scholars gather for religious discussions. There is a Narasimha Swami deity in a shrine called Adi Narasimha Mahavishnu. He is said to be the bestower of knowledge. On the opposite side, there is a small Surya Yantra in a cellar.
Next to this Mandapam, there is a temple of Ananta Shayanam - Lord Narayana reclining on the serpent. The deity is fairly large and easy to locate. Opposite to him is Chandi Devi who is responsible for the preparation of Prasadam. She ensures that no impurities get mixed with the food that is to be offered. Locating her deity can be a bit of a challenge. She is seated on a dog vahana.
Interestingly, it has been reported that whenever any impurity accidentally occured during the preparation of Prasadams, a large black dog appears from here. When such a mistake happens, the food is discarded and new food is prepared after thorough cleaning. Therefore, the cooks who make Prasadams follow strict safety protocols.

Next, towards the right side is a small temple which houses all the Utsava Vigrahas of the temple. The Utsava Vigrahas are small metal deities they are taken out during processions and festivals. The most prominent deity is Madan Mohan (Lord Krishna playing the flute) He has the charming and attractive face of a young boy. Apart from him, there are deities of Narasimha Swami, Narayana and Ramakrishna (Balarama and Krishna). Facing them is a small stone deity of Garuda.
Opposite to Mukti Mandapam is a well covered by a glass covering. It is known as Rohini Kundam. The water is said to be very powerful. Near the well are the foosteps of king Indradyumna who built the temple.
So in this post, we covered the shrines near the banyan tree, Mukti Mandapam and the well. The next post would be about the temples towards the southern gate.

The banyan tree (aśvattha) is one of the highest and most beautiful trees, and people in India often worship it as one of their daily morning rituals. Amongst the demigods they also worship Nārada, who is considered the greatest devotee in the universe.
Thus he is the representation of Kṛṣṇa as a devotee. The Gandharva planet is filled with entities who sing beautifully, and among them the best singer is Citraratha. Amongst the perfect living entities, Kapila, the son of Devahūti, is a representative of Kṛṣṇa. He is considered an incarnation of Kṛṣṇa, and His philosophy is mentioned in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Later on another Kapila became famous, but his philosophy was atheistic. Thus there is a gulf of difference between them.

26. aśvatthaḥ sarva-vṛkṣāṇāṁ devarṣīṇāṁ ca nāradaḥ gandharvāṇāṁ citrarathaḥ siddhānāṁ kapilo muniḥ
🌷 Translation : Of all trees I am the banyan tree, and of the sages among the demigods I am Nārada. Of the Gandharvas I am Citraratha, and among perfected beings I am the sage Kapila.
🌹 Purport : The banyan tree (aśvattha) is one of the highest and most beautiful trees, and people in India often worship it as one of their daily morning rituals. Amongst the demigods they also worship Nārada, who is considered the greatest devotee in the universe.
Thus he is the representation of Kṛṣṇa as a devotee. The Gandharva planet is filled with entities who sing beautifully, and among them the best singer is Citraratha. Amongst the perfect living entities, Kapila, the son of Devahūti, is a representative of Kṛṣṇa. He is considered an incarnation of Kṛṣṇa, and His philosophy is mentioned in the Śrīmad-Bhāgavatam. Later on another Kapila became famous, but his philosophy was atheistic. Thus there is a gulf of difference between them. 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹 🌹

Chapter 74 🌻 Mode of worshipping Śiva (śivapūjā) - 1 🌻
The Lord said: I. I shall describe the (mode of) worshipping Śiva [i.e., śivapūjā]. After having sipped water, and repeated the syllable Oṃ, one should wash the entrance of the temple with water (consecrated by the) mantra of the weapon and worship the guardian deities of the door-ways and of the oblations etc.
2-3. One should worship goddess Sarasvatī (consort.of Lord Brahmā), Lakṣmī (consort of Lord Viṣṇu) and Gaṇa at the threshold, Nandin (attendant of Lord Śiva) and the Ganges on the right and Mahākāla (form of Śiva) and the Yamunā (river) on the left imagining himself as having divine sight, and after having driven the spirits and impediments present in the sky by throwing a consecrated flower.
One should kick the earth thrice with the right heels and enter the place of worship after leaping across the threshold holding the left door frame.
Having entered (the temple) by placing the right foot (first) and placing the weapons at the threshold, one should worship at its centre (repeating the following): Oṃ, hāṃ, (obeisance) to Brahmā, the presiding deity of the dwelling place.
Then he should go to the river Ganges silently carrying pure golden pitchers by means of searching instruments, after having obtained permission from Śiva.
One should fill them with waters of the river filtered with the cloth after the repetition of gāyatrī or the hṛdayamantra, and purifying one’s body.
The materials for worship such as the perfumes, unbroken rice and flowers etc. should be placed in front of the place and the purification of five material components (of the earth) should be done.
Having placed (these materials) on the right side of the deity with a pleasing face and having lifted these showing saṃhāra mudrā (posture of the fingers representing destruction), one should place them on the head with (the repetition of) the mantra.

🌻 19. చైతన్యం యొక్క విషయం స్పృహతో సంబంధం కలిగి ఉండాలి 🌻
చైతన్యం యొక్క పరిమితిని ఏ విధంగానూ గ్రహించలేరు. చైతన్యాన్ని తన వెలుపల ఉన్న ఏదైనా పరిమితం చేస్తుందని ఊహించడం కూడా అసాధ్యమైన విషయం. వాస్తవానికి, చైతన్యానికి వెలుపల ఏదో ఉందనే భావన సైతం పూర్తిగా అసంభవం. ఎందుకంటే చైతన్యానికి బాహ్యమైనది కూడా చైతన్యంలో భాగం కావాలి. లేకపోతే, చైతన్యానికి వెలుపల ఏదో ఉందనే స్పృహ కూడా ఉండదు.
చైతన్యం కానిది చైతన్యంలో భాగం కావడం సాధ్యం కాదు. ఎందుకంటే చైతన్యంలో భాగం కావడానికి ఆ విషయానికి చైతన్యంతో సంబంధం కలిగి ఉండాలి. ఇప్పుడు ఈ చైతన్య భాగం మరియు చైతన్యం మధ్య ఈ సంబంధం మళ్లీ ఒక ప్రశ్నార్థకమైన ప్రతిపాదన. ఎందుకంటే చైతన్యానికి వెలుపల ఉన్న విషయం చైతన్యంతో సంబంధం కలిగి ఉంది తనలో భాగం ఎలా ఔతుంది? కాబట్టి చైతన్యానికి వెలుపల, చైతన్యం కానిది, చైతన్యంతో సంబంధం లేని ఒక విషయాన్ని అసలు ఊహించడానికి కూడా సాధ్యం కాదు.

🌻 19. The Content of Consciousness has to be Related to Consciousness 🌻
One can conceive anything but the finitude of consciousness. It is impossible to imagine that consciousness can be limited by anything external to it. In fact, the concept of there being something external to consciousness is itself an unwarranted intervention of a total impossibility, for that which is external to consciousness has also to become a content of consciousness; else, there could not be even a consciousness that there is something external to consciousness.
It is also not possible that what is alien to consciousness in character can be its content, for the content of consciousness has to be related to consciousness in order to become its content at all. Now, this relation between the content and consciousness is again a questionable proposition, inasmuch as any relation between consciousness and its content should again be related to consciousness in some way or the other. It is impossible to hold the notion of anything which is unrelated to consciousness, or what is not a content of consciousness or what is dissimilar to consciousness in character.

🍀. లోపలి నిశ్శబ్ద అనుభవం అసాధారణమైంది. దేనితోనూ పోల్చలేనిది. అంత విలువైన అనుభవం ఏదీ లేదు. కారణం దాని నించీ అన్ని అనుభవాలూ పుడతాయి. నిశ్శబ్దం లేకుంటే సత్యం లేదు. స్వేచ్ఛ లేదు. 🍀
జీవితంలోని అసాధారణమయిన అనుభవం నిశ్శబ్దం. లేని పక్షంలో జీవితం ఎంతో అల్లరిగా వుంటుంది. బయట శబ్దముంది. లోపల శబ్దముంది. రెండూ కలిసి ఎవడికయినా పిచ్చెక్కిస్తాయి. సమస్త ప్రపంచాన్నీ పిచ్చెక్కిస్తాయి. వ్యక్తి లోపలి శబ్దాన్ని ఆపాలి. బయటి శబ్దం మన అదుపులో లేనిది. దాన్ని ఆపాల్సిన అవసరం లేదు. కానీ మనం లోపలి శబ్దాన్ని ఆపవచ్చు. ఒకసారి లోపలి శబ్దం ఆగితే నిశ్శబ్దం నిలబడితే బయటి శబ్దం సమస్య కాదు. దాన్ని నువ్వు ఎంజాయ్ చేయవచ్చు. ఎట్లాంటి సమస్య లేకుండా దాంట్లో జీవించవచ్చు.
లోపలి నిశ్శబ్ద అనుభవం అసాధారణమైంది. దేనితోనూ పోల్చలేనిది. అంత విలువైన అనుభవం ఏదీ లేదు. కారణం దాని నించీ అన్ని అనుభవాలూ పుడతాయి. సమస్త మత ఆలయానికి యిది పునాది. నిశ్శబ్దం లేకుంటే సత్యం లేదు. స్వేచ్ఛ లేదు. దేవుడు లేడు. నిశ్శబ్దం వల్ల ప్రతిదీ స్థలాన్ని మార్చుకుంటుంది. నీ దృష్టి మారుతుంది. నిశ్శబ్దం చూడలేని దాన్ని చూపిస్తుంది. తెలియని దాన్ని తెలిసేలా చేస్తుంది. దాని అసాధారణ గుణమది.

The visarga is the culmination point of five energies of Śiva discussed so far. They are cit śakti, ānanda śakti, icchā śakti, jñāna śakti and kriyā śakti. In each of these energies, the other four also co-exist. These śakti-s are so called because of the predominant nature of a particular śakti. The subtlest of these five energies is cit śakti, from which the five gross elements ether, air, fire, water and earth are created. Śiva always moves from subtle to gross and gross to subtle. Therefore, at the end of all the sixteen vowels, perception begins to happen.

Lord Dakshinamurthy is not only worshiped as the Adi Guru but also as the One, who teaches everyone through the medium of an innumerable number of human Gurus.
In his upper arms, he holds a snake or rosary or both in one hand and a flame in the other; while in his lower right hand is shown in vyakhyana mudra, his lower left hand holds a bundle of kusha grass or the Vedic scriptures.
The index finger of His right hand is bent and touching the tip of his thumb. The other three fingers are stretched apart. This symbolic hand gesture or Mudra is the Gnana Mudra (or Jnana Mudra or Jana Mudra), a symbol of knowledge and wisdom.
The Jnana Mudra is interpreted in this way:– The thumb represents God and the index finger denotes man. The other three fingers stand for the three congenital impurities of man viz. arrogance, illusion and bad deeds of past births. When man detaches himself from these impurities, he reaches God.
The Abhaya Mudra, a gesture with the hand lifted above thigh with palm facing out, fingers pointing, is interpreted as His grace upon His students.
The rosary or the snake signifies Tantric knowledge.
The fire represents illumination, removing the darkness of ignorance.
The fifth day of the week, Thursday is associated with the planet Jupiter and is referred to as Guruvaar. Thursdays are considered auspicious to start any educational endeavours. It is on Thursdays that special worship services are offered to Dakshinamurthy in many Shaivite temples. Some temple traditions hold full moon nights, particularly the night of the Guru Poornima as the appropriate time for worship of Dakshinamurthy.
Even though the idol of Dakshinamurthy is installed in every Shiva temple, there are only a few temples where Dakshinamurthy is the chief deity. Only one of the twelve Jyotirlingas is Dakshinamurthy, which is the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga in Ujjain.
For meditation/dhyana, we usually sit facing either east or north. But Dakshinamurthy faces south. This is to point out that the Lord is beyond the regulations prescribed for men. The serpent crawling on his body signifies the Kundalini Shakti, which is to be awakened by doing Yoga Sadhana.
The banyan tree and its shade signify Maya. The Rudraksha Mala in His hand reminds us about the thirty-six Tattvas, about the efficacy of Japa Yoga, and of the Panchakshara Mantra which is to be done with the Rudraksha Mala. The demon Apasmara being pressed under the Lord's foot, tells us that the Lord quells the vicious and protects the virtuous. The Abhaya Mudra assures us of succour from evil forces.
Devotees visiting Shiva temples, after they offer worship in the main sanctum sanctorums of the Lord and the Devi, do Pradakshina. And when they come near the southern part, they offer worship at the feet of Dakshinamurthy. They sit there in front of the idol, facing north or east, and do meditation for some time. Complete silence is observed at this place. Those who are conversant with the Dakshinamurthy Ashtakam recite the eight stanzas and prostrate at the conclusion of each stanza and seek the blessings of the Lord for granting them spiritual wisdom.

Maha Bisubha Sakranti, is celebrated as Odia Nutan Barsha in whole Odisha . The festival is also celebrated as Pana Sankranti, Hauman Jayanti, Pana Parba and Shri Radharamandeba Jayanti . People worship in temples as believe of Good Luck for family, they keep fasting, making Haban - Homa (fire ceremony). People offer sweet Pana, food, costumes for betterment of good health, good fortune and virtue . It is holy belief, give water to Holy Banyan Tree ( Aswatatha ), Holy Basil Plant ( Tulsi ) and Shaligram during prior noon to evening . The period is regarded as Holy Period of Maha Bisubha Sakranti . The rituals teaches us to live in ecology and respect the thoughts of “Basudeba Kutumbkam” .

"The Knot." From the Sarva Sara Upanishad “The Exploration of the Mysteries of the Essence of the Almighty.”
In verse 1, we learn we are who we eat: The ego will follow the trail of the past impressions of itself if finds aggrandize it, shield it from suffering, broker power to maintaining its long held delusions.
In part 2 we learn reality only barks, it doesn't bite. Give it a try:
2. When the essence of consciousness which manifests itself as the three states, is a witness of the states, (but is) itself devoid of states, positive or negative, and remains in the state of non-separation and oneness, then it is spoken of as the Turiya, the fourth.
The aggregate of the six sheaths, which are the products of food, is called the Annamaya-kosha, alimentary sheath. When the fourteen kinds of Vayus beginning with the Prana, are in the alimentary sheath, then it is spoken of as the Pranamaya-kosha, vesture of the vital airs.
When the Atman “Supreme Soul” united with these two sheaths performs, by means of the four organs beginning with the mind, the functions of desire, etc., which have for their objects sound and the rest, then it (this state) is called the Manomaya-kosha, mental sheath.
When the soul shines being united with these three sheaths, and cognizant of the differences and non-differences thereof then it is called the Vijnanamaya-kosha, sheath of intelligence.
When these four sheaths remain in their own cause which is Knowledge (Brahman), in the same way as the latent Banyan tree remains in the Banyan seed, then it is spoken of as the Anandamaya-kosha, causal frame of the Soul. When it dwells in the body, as the seat of the idea of pleasure and pain, then it is the Karta, agent.
 The idea of pleasure is that which pertains to wished-for objects, and the idea of pain is that which pertains to undesirable objects. Sound, touch, sight, taste, and smell are the causes of pleasure and pain. When the soul, conforming itself to good and bad actions, has made a link of the present body (with its past body), and is seen to be effecting a union, a connection as it were, with the body not yet received, then it is called the Jiva, individual soul, on account of its being limited by Upadhis “degrees”.
The five groups are those beginning with the mind, those beginning with the Prana, those beginning with the Sattva “the saint”, those beginning with the will, and those beginning with merit. The ego possessing the attributes of these five groups, does not die out without the knowledge of the ever-attained Self.
That which, owing to its proximity to the Self, appears as imperishable and is attributed to Atman, is called the Linga-sharira (subtle body), and the “heart’s knot”.
The Consciousness which manifests itself therein is called the Kshetrajna, Knower of the Kshetra (body).
The easiest way to get on with your day after reading verse 2 is to process this statement first: “When the has performed the link between its past and current states and does the math, the knowledge of the Self is attained.”
Our souls are collections of the merits we experience in the company of others and those we demonstrate in return. Civil society is the greatest merit mankind has ever accomplished- it is where magnificent feats of art, science, technology, medicine, flight, work and entertainment have taken place. This planet was once barren of comfort and safe ways to interest us in ourselves and now, we  can do anything we put our mind to.  Only a few demerits remain and they are all due to corruption and the worship of false gods.
I am coming out publicly against the Mormons, the Republicans, Evangelicals and Pro-Life movements as their demeritorious acts, their constant battery of the government and populace, our permissiveness towards their faiths and its works of oppression have driven us to the brink during a time we that should be freely enjoying our stay here. Everyone everywhere is miserable and scared to death because these people, like toddlers who have given the car keys are running our government.
All we talk about all day is praying to Jesus Christ, Republicans this, Democrats that. There are 7 billion people that want to find their own way through truly meritorious acts and enmeshing the rest of us in the constant nonsense and corruption of the former is wrong.
Donald Trump usurped the presidency with the help of miscreant, misanthropic zealots who proceeded to watch him put hundreds of thousands of refugees in need of our help into concentration camps where most of them died. He stripped mined the oceans, attacked the civil rights of every person in the country of every kind, and built a wall between Mexico and the USA that is killing everything, gun violence is rampant, a bunch of savages, Mormons to the last raided the Capitol under Trump, Ted Cruz’s and Mitch McConnell’s leadership, and the former vile persons voted for the man twice.
The Ukrainians, the best friends of humanity are being annihilated under the watch of a man with the best military hardware (and weapons) on the planet and the highest call to action there is: to prevent genocide upon the innocent by an aggressive neighbor, while his own people are shot at and preyed upon by the Walking Dead. What. An. Asshole.
And that Kamala Harris? After she planned that attack on Nancy Pelosi’s husband? Put that shit. In. the. can!

So what's going wrong?
The Upanishad says That which, owing to its proximity to the Self, appears as imperishable and is attributed to Atman, is called the Linga-sharira (subtle body), and the “heart’s knot”.
We are not in a knot with the Holy Spirit. Not even close. We are tied down instead by hand wringing over abortions, how people we don’t know fuck, not worried enough at how besieged by war the planet has once again become.
Our reckless behavior towards the environment is shorting our food and water, the economy is teetering, and our lack of a professional, effective response is being limited by an unacceptable mix of church and state.
The ego that possesses the attributes of the saint, the driver of merit, will accept none of these things. All that has to be done, the text says, is to look, to permit the Full Sentience of the Self to Illuminate the world and give rise to what remains of its graces, because verily, the Mormons, Republicans, Evangelicals Pro-Lifers and White House show us none:

Reality is supposed to consist of an unbroken series of intelligent scenarios. Ours is being ruled by a bunch of evil fawns chasing after an unappealing, sterile and unbelievable story that the wise and good have rejected time and time again.
Through the essence of knowledge, what is real, hot, gorgeous, sexy, fun, happy, and feeds, clothes, houses, employs and recreates the entire human race is fully attainable, is spoken of in the verse above as the driver of the nature of the Self:

Humanity has never really tried to accomplish this level of brilliance, not before or since the end of WWII, and even then the work was incomplete. We are nearly back where we started with all that: Once again hatred of the Jew and LGBTQ persons is spurring sub-human weirdoes to take over the world and not one good man is trying to stop them and put an end to them and all of it forever.
Mankind will remain a doomed and warped version of itself if we can’t find the will to take on one last war of principals against the fundamentalists responsible for the demise of this planet. And for this we will need help, starting with an increased interest in the Words of God. So we can be more like Him and less like we have become.

Pulicat // Pazhavanthangal // November 23 2022 // Part 3
Raj kumar, a mid aged fella, wears a blue shirt, was in the posture of taking hitchhike, was standing at the corner of Adhavan rice mill, which was painted yellow and it looks vintage. It was an off road, filled with paddy field greenery on both sides and the dark clouds above; and raj kumar started his talking about his job as a prawns seller for half a year and another half as a masonry. The green paddy fields, triggers something in him, where all of sudden he was telling about the harvesting festival, on how people wake up early that day, harvest, worship god for making it smooth, and how they celebrate this during pongal festival. He gave a rugged face when was photographed but on request, some varied smiling face was posed; hiding his face and mouth; but one can see the beauty in it.
The village has an old large banyan tree that was painted black inside and green out; it was providing shade to localities, who were taking naps under it. There were a couple of old men, admiring the drizzling on the sitting top of the brick block that was piled near the temple pond. The pond filled with lilies and lotus and droplets of drizzle that intense to form rain. A V shaped wood was fixed on the head, comes the another old man, who is deaf, was inquiring about the native and stuff, but heard none and left.
This route connects short from minjur to pulicat. Minjur is the dead end of chennai outer ring road, filled mostly with the trucks and two wheeler. The highway, also filled with decomposed dog body, that got hit a few days back, was still indicating her presence, even after gone to heaven. The rooster was seen near to this scene, pecking the wet food on the streets, and all of sudden flew up high, amidst a truck that was passing. It was such a kind of rooster that was doing the same stuff to the passerby at the pulicat. They were a man and a decorated cow. He used to bless people on getting paid. Making some positive comments to the cow, and the cow nod YES, giving a positive beam to the payer. He walks all day and blesses people. That was his work.
They were walking towards the Pazhaverkadu lighthouse, which was painted an alternative white and ash colour. Crossing the lagoon was crowded with boats and small huts and people gathered, playing cards in gangs, goli, spinning fishing net, getting the motor ready for fishing, settling the grabbed fishes to the fish auction centre, which held crowds and shouting that blurting numbers in random. The pathway filled with dead and decomposed fish that was extras and not used for sales. There, it is a snake-like fish, in varied size, where some crows and birds prey on them.
There was a shout and playing of school boys, inside the dutch cemetery, of king and queen and minister, in marvellos structure, now ruined a little but the artwork and the writings still remains, was not cared a bit by those littles. Our lady shrine was standing tall near the cemetery. Painted white, bordered blue, and standing majestically, among the small hut of slum. The tiny streets of the slum, all of sudden, show a building from 1950, where an old lady, converted it to a convenience store, and doing her business there, was in focus on clearing her tooth set.
Near to the st. Antony church, a small lone room, not painted colours but with the algae, had a doorless window, where a mid aged woman, hari trimmed, unclean, with staring eyes, blurting some words, was gazing over the sun that was about the set. Her face painted golden with the sun shine and after admiring it, on knowing people staring at her, realised and gradually moved back and hid her face but haven’t stopped the murmuring. It gave a chill moment as the lone building was installed on a deserted sea shore of golden sand that was parallel to ECR, that parallel again with the back water. Some fishermen, on returning back from fishing, were in discussion with the night plans of getting high. He is dark and his face hasn't smiled for long, wears a black bracelet in his ankle and stuff. The town got only one functionable hotel, where the owners were in discussion on improving their profit. Opposite, a little shop, which sells only cool drinks, was in charge of a young boy, who was in conversation on the excess of the stock that the deal had put on him last week.
The parallel ECR connects Ennore, travelling the off round for 20km. A young scholl fella in white and white, got the lift and was on zig zagging the patched road. It was horrible as it goes and the scenario of deserted barren sea shore and the back water on the right compensated for the trouble. The route holds less people and villages but more of cows and was in wonder to whom they all belong? Gradually the scenery gets updated where it shows adani port, L&T ship building, North chennai thermal plant. The whole area is covered with the huge machines that emit dark smokes but none care and riding the two wheels, rushing somewhere to the place where they initially got out deciding it is a bore.
The old lady, around 100 plus kg, took the ride from the thermal power plant to Ennore. She was in constant enquiry on the purpose and stuff and the bikes started to struggle due to the overload. The body was titled to some angle that most of the space was occupied by her and it raised a question on why the ride had been accepted in the first place.
Ennore express highway filled with trucks and only trucks. Parallely, the wave sounds shouting, indicating its presence. A Huge cylinder-like pillar installed to reduce the intensity of the wave, and the aftermath of hitting the pillar, fragments its droplet, and sprays the people and couples who are in sync with the sea.

Some banner that holds the articles, that was published about the Atho street food, was in the background, and the fella who was posing on the post was actually preparing Atho and was serving people. It is at the beach road, backside of HSBC building and crowded fully with people, dogs, beggars, old mens and womens and stuff. The nearby Atho stall was empty and they didn't care either. The empty shop owner was in conversation with a mentally challenged lady, who was already occupied in feeding hot strong tea to the stray dog, which she called her julie, but failed at it after pouring it on the pedestrian. The empty shop owner started giving life advice and philosophy to her. She was already sick of it as this was the same saying that she hears from the empty shop owner all time.
