“cardamon is a capitalist” “cardamon is the real villain of bapc because he collects rent” “cardamon is mean” cardamon is a seven year old with a comatose mother who has been self-dependent for months, maybe even years, and the only joy he has in life is his dog no one understands him everyone thinks he’s mature for his age when in reality he not by choice became responsible for managing his mother’s entire career, his entire life, and every single adult in his apartment complex. he can’t make friends at school easily because he has to manage things the other kids might never have to manage and that has aged and traumatized him and bee is technically his only friend and she’s so used to him being able to take care of himself that she didn’t know he was suffering in silence until he broke down and declared that he doesn’t know anything. cardamon does not have many if any choices in his life, and he can hardly take care of himself.

cardamon is a child living in a world that has forced him to grow up faster than most. even when the warlocks and manipulated moully into going on a rampage on the island, cardamon thought it was his fault because he wished for a better life. he doesn’t want to be a landlord, he just wants his mother back. he wants to be a child. let him be a child, please.

How long do you think Cardamon was awake, waiting for his mom to also wake up, before giving up and venturing out to start his landlord plan? Cuz Bee comments in ep2 that oh, he's awake, so is his mom? Meaning they generally wake together and that this was the first she'd seen of him in a while. ESPECIALLY since neither Cas nor Deckard knew who he was!

(Which brings up the issue of how old Cardamon actually is, since Bee seemingly has known both groups since they were babies, but yet they don't know about him? And I doubt they know Violet, in all her winged alien glory.)

How many days did he spend inside, alone, believing this is the day, surely she'll wake up today! Playing all alone, not understanding, but reading his fantasy books and latching on to the idea while slowly giving up that she's going to wake up.

Sad thought time

Cardamon admits that the reason he’s acting like a landlord is because in his fairytales the Prince is granted a wish. And he believes that by taking on this responsibility, he’d be acting like a prince.

In the finale we also learn that Cardamon was originally sleeping with his mom. And that he was never supposed to wake up without her.

So, how long do you think he sat there, waiting for his mom to wake up? Expecting her to wake up? Before he finally came to this conclusion and left the apartment?
