Did she have like, an Imperial Era where she was wearing the uniform and came with a Dream Destroyer? Then, when the New Republic came in, did she switch side a la Iden Version and start wearing Rebel jumpsuits and flying x-wings. Carlos Sainz Sr. and Reyes Vázquez de Castro -I think there's not much to say here -the two of them were more than joyed to have another baby -she definitely has her Papá wrapped around her finger -so that means that her Mamá has to be the bad cop -they are quite protective of her -i mean, no parent wants to let their youngest daughter fly to Colombia alone and stay there for nearly one year (for Narcos) -they were always very supportive of her career -all in all they are the best parents she could ask for

Ana and Blanca Sainz -YAY -another sister -when i tell you, those two acted like she was a doll -Amira always goes to them when she has boy problems -they are definitely the type of sisters to color each others nails,do their Make-Up together,… -when they were kids, they always forced Carlos to play Barbie with them -ALWAYS -they always criticize each other -but if someone else dares to: you're never seen again -when they are older, they will live pretty close -they also never know who has whose clothes -they also encourage Amira to embrace her beauty and attention she receives -which only gives Carlos more gray hair (Senior and Junior) -they are Amiras safe space -all in all they are like the Spanish Power-Puff-Girls

Honestly this is the best DC project in years and a return to everything that was good about the og animated series whilst including all the elements of DC cannon that have been created or expanded upon since.

Just a few of my favorite things:

- the SETTING, going back to the 40s noir vibe is a perfect choice, the fights are beautiful and not overcomplicated by gadgets and tech, also allows for some gratuitously beautiful shots that play with shadow.

- batman's age, I don't think Bruce is ever given an age in the show but he seems to be mid 20s early 30s and still an urban legend as the batman, we don't have to waste time with an origin episode/season but we still get to experience a Gotham who doesn't fully trust their vigilante.

- VILLIANS, for me the stand out was harley quinn, divorcing her from the joker allows her character to fully shine, she stays somewhere in the grey but still firmly an antagonist. It's one of the gripes I have with new harley that once she leaves the joker she always becomes more of an anti-hero/hero, keep my girl villainous. Also her psychological background is in full swing, I've always believed Harley is most dangerous when she's in your head and the show leans fully into it. Gaslight, Gatekeep, Girlboss indeed.

- villians pt.2, keeping the theme of the animated series we have our villians for villainy antagonists like penguin and thorn who seem to live on in their counterparts, onomatopoeia and firebug, but we also get nuanced character arcs for 2-face, Natalia and clayface, echoing baby doll and calender woman.

- supporting cast, I'm only familiar with the comics in passing but if attorney Barbra is a new invention then whoever thought of it needs a raise. Also aging her up to be in her early 20s is an incredible change from the animated series where she floated around the freshly 18 mark. It makes her a hero in her own right even if she isn't batgirl (yet), and let's us see Gothams worst and how she's already fighting for change.

- Supporting cast pt.2, Montoya! My beloved, I'm not sure where her romance with harley is going but I can't wait, it's great to see such an archetypal noir cop, even more so than Jim, who speaking of I love as well, his want to protect the city but also butting heads with barbie on methods is perfect characterization in my option.

-baby bruce, horrifying, I love him. Alfred has personal beef with harley now, the second he saw an opportunity to throw that man in therapy she gives him valid paranoia of the entire profession just as he was thinking about trying it properly, I know it's on sight for him going forward.

- art, I've binged the animated series many times at this point and it's a running gag in the fandom that some frames are ... unique. Obviously the animators were working with what they had, but the step up in fight choreography and flow is spectacular, the whole show is a love letter to old batman with a new varnish of the animation productions of today.

Overall an amazing show that had me laugh and gasp in equal amounts, it took itself seriously in a way most superhero media won't do anymore, I distinctly thought in ep.9 when batman swings away from Montoya and Jim "wow they didn't put in a stupid snark about him being dramatic or having a nice ass ect" and it's like a breath of fresh air.

As far as nitpicks go I wished we had more of Bruce in isolation, or having real conversations, but I realize the focus of this season was his loneliness and how the final episode states he's opening up more to the 3 main supporting characters. I'm also worried for how important the joker might become but that's basically instinct at this point (please kill him off, i want to see the reactions).

Going forward I can't wait to see if we get any follow up on the Easter egg characters, killer croc, the 4 Robin's, king tut. I'd love to see the batman as a dad he's got a lot of kindness modern adaptations don't include, but still that overwhelmingly lonely nature. I'm hoping harley and the joker never cross paths in this universe but I won't hold my breath and I'd like to see if we will get a batgirl/oracle storyline as well.

Anyways looking forward to the confirmed second season, and if you read this without watching the show, start now.

Random Crossover Idea: Demon Slayer/Barbie in the Nutcracker

Ye Olde Nostalgia kicked in, and refused to let me leave the topic alone.

So! I did what anyone would do when they have plot bunnies without a proper plot. I'm gonna post some random idea vomit, and anyone who stumbles across it and gets inspired is welcome to use the idea vomit with appropriate credit(i.e. tagging me here, or gifting on AO3).

Plot Ideas:

Tanjirou as Clara, Kanao as the story's version of the Nutcracker/Prince Eric. I am a sucker for TanKana, and it honestly kinda fits in my opinion.

Kanao's a doll instead of a nutcracker. I feel it fits her vibe a little better. Plus, it gave me another idea for her! Along with being turned into a doll, if she ever comes back to life, her mouth is sewn shut. Because I'm evil, apparently. Also, it creates fun communication hijinks.

Said communication hijinks includes Tanjirou giving her a notebook, and the poor girl being able to communicate with only him because she only remembers how to write in Japanese. Which isn't used in her fantasy kingdom. So poor Tanjirou has to play interpreter for her to the other members of the group. (Which absolutely includes him reading some choice words she wrote, looking her directly in the eye, and saying "I get the sentiment, but I am not translating that.")

Kanao initially belonged to Nezuko, given as a gift when she was younger. With the financial situation the Kamado family is in, Tanjirou and Nezuko decided to regift doll!Kanao to one of their younger siblings. But, due to age, she needs some touching up. Tanjirou offers to handle it(either Nezuko has a broken hand, or she's swamped with other sewing projects), and this plot gets underway.

The Mouse King is Douma. Who else could I pick, after Kanao got put in the position of Prince Eric? How'd he get the throne? Coup, that's all I got. Kanao got out alive, but got cursed. So he shows up, shenanigans occur, Tanjirou becomes tiny, and the plot goes forth with our intrepid duo searching for the... It's a bit cheesy, I think, but Sun Prince.

Kanao is a feral sword ballerina. Let her kick a** in a tutu, Natasha Romanov Style! She deserves it! Meanwhile, poor Tanjirou just got handed a sword and told to swing it at Douma's soldiers, and he's looking around like "Why did I get a sword? Why am I being trusted with weaponry? I am literally a teenager who's never seen battle. I need an adult!"

In other words, our boy has no battle experience, is very stressed, and needs help

Sanemi and Genya as Major Mint and Captain Candy. I don't know why, but the vibes came to me. Genya still has his gun.

Agere Headcanons: Cassie Howard from Euphoria

🩵 how did they find out about age regression? did they stumble upon it online? did a friend tell them about it?

Cassie learns about it in therapy. Her therapist mentions that she thinks it would do her some good and at first she brushes it off. But later on she does some research and decides to try it out.

🎀 do they have a specific age or range they regress to, or do they just go off vibes?

I'd say she regresses to ages 2-5! Sometimes older like to 10 but it depends

🩵 why do they regress? is it trauma or stress related? do they regress to go back to simpler times, or to create new memories? what causes them to regress?

It is definitely stress and trauma related. She wants to go back to the happiness she felt being an ice skater and not like an object for men. But she also wants to create nice memories, memories with a safe father figure. Memories where she feels loved.

🎀 is their regression more voluntary or involuntary? do they ever regress without realizing it?

It can be both, when she's upset and having a meltdown it is involuntary. It's usually then that she doesn't realize she's regressed. But she also likes to intentionally unwind with a cartoon and some milk in a sippy cup.

🩵 do they ever find themselves only regressing partially, or do they fully drop when they regress?

It depends how upset she is, sometimes she can be fully regressed. When she's doing it voluntarily it is usually partially.

🎀 are they a stuffie or a blankie kid? both? neither?

She still has a bunny stuffie she had as a kid. Now as an adult she gets herself an ice skating bunny stuffie. And a nice cozy blanket in blue.

At the moment no but she gets one. I like to think maybe her bestie (and gf) Maddy is her caregiver/big sister. And eventually they get a shared caregiver so they can both be little at the same time and someone is there to supervise them.

🎀 in what ways are they different when they're regressed? do aspects of their personality or interests change at all? are they similar to how they were when they were an actual kid, or completely different?

She's pretty similar to how she is when she isn't regressed. Cassie is naturally a pretty sweet and innocent person. I think it takes a while for Cassie to get her passion for ice skating back but when she does it's like she lights up and that same little girl from all those years ago are back.

She's just a regressor! I can see her liking being a bunny sometimes too tho.

She has soooo many pacis and sippies and toys. So so many. I think she'd try diapers. At first she hides it but when she moves in with Maddy she doesn't hide it anymore.

For sure, I can see her baby talking and she does like Disney and pastels. She's like a stereotypical little girl tbh but that isn't a bad thing at all!

Maddy calls her little bunny, Cassie Cass, Ice Princess, Sissy. Cassie calls Maddy Mads, MooMoo, and also Sissy.

🩵 what do they like to do when they're regressed? do they like to play pretend, watch tv/movies, color, etc.?

It takes her a while to be comfortable playing and stuff. In the beginning she sticks to watching cartoons and other kids shows. But once she's comfortable she plays with her Barbie dolls and stuffies, color, dress up. She loves dressing up in costumes and having tea parties.

🎀 what kind of snacks/drinks do they gravitate towards when regressed? do they use a sippy cup or bottle? how about those little divider plates/trays?

Cassie likes warm milk with some cinnamon at bed time and those fruit punch on pouches during the day a lot! She usually uses a sippy cup but when she's extra little she enjoys it when someone feeds her with a bottle. And yes she loves those divider plates! She has a Cinderella one.

🩵 what do they wear when they're regressed? do they have specific clothes, or do they just wear whatever is most comfortable? do they have a comfort article of clothing?

She pretty much wears the same things as when she's big. Sometimes she'll enjoy a onesie at nighttime.

🎀 where do they tend to regress? do they mostly regress at home, at the park, at a specific friend's house? do they have a specific place they like to go once they're regressed?

When she's alone at home is when she most often regresses. And when she's with Maddy. Those are the places she feels the safest to regress.

During winter she loves to play outside because it means ice skating on the lake! And she in general likes playing outside. She likes to do her cheerleading tumbling. But she isn't too upset when it rains because it means she can get all cozy and snuggle with Maddy.

🎀 do they take naps? if so, do they take them at a specific time, or just nap whenever they feel like it? do they get fussy over having to take one?

I can see her being a little fussy when it's nap time, but she does enjoy taking her naps. It's always in the afternoon after lunch that she'll lay down for a nap 🥹

🩵 what kind of things do you associate with their regression? is their a specific aesthetic or general 'vibe' you think suits them and their regression?

I definitely see a dollette/dollcore aesthetic for Cassie. She likes being a pretty princess and when she's little that doesn't change. Lots of dresses and bows. Those kinds of things make her happy.

She does feel insecure about it sometimes. I picture her exploring agere after high school so in her head she's an adult, why does she need to act like a child in order to feel safe? Which just causes her to regress more because of the stress. But over time with her therapist and Maddy she starts to accept it. She likes that it lets her reclaim her childhood and heal her inner child. The only thing she dislikes is that she gets triggered easily into the headspace.

6 CREEPY BABY AND KID DOLLS

Hello and welcome back to my blog. Today I wanted to talk about something that relates to my blog but also steers away from it. For those who do not know, I sorta like creepy things because they fascinate me and i like old toys so i thought why not add both? Its something a bit different and perfect for October with that said let's get into it...

1. Baby Laugh A Lot

Baby Laugh A Lot is a doll from Remco which went bankrupt in 1971 which is also the year this doll came out. She sports red hair, blue eyeshadow and a red dress with striped sleeves. She is well known with the cursed commercial community and has a pretty creepy commercial. Personally this doll doesn't really creep me out but what makes her creepy is when her batteries run out. I will link the video but I will add that the editing and the vibe of the video comes off like a weird ARG are some creepypasta but no this doll is real, again the doll in itself isn't really creepy it's just the commercial that doesn't do her much justice and when the dolls batteries run out.

2. Cricket

Cricket was unveiled in 1986 and was made by Playmates a toy company that will be showing up on this list again later. Cricket spoke and was voiced by Laura Mooney who was 9 at the time, Cricket also moved her eyes which was what makes her creepy. Think of Cricket like Teddy Ruxpin but a human, she did similar things to Teddy and came with tapes with jokes, songs and stories. Cricket also had a black doll. Cricket was originally 75 bucks and heres her commercial.

3. Baby Secret

Baby Secret is a doll from 1965 and just like all these other dolls, she speaks but instead it's in a whisper tone. Baby Secret is made by Mattel, the creators of the Barbie dolls. When I look at Baby Secret I don't see anything that's really creepy but just like the first doll, she has a commercial that is seen as very creepy and unsettling. There is also a Baby Secrets doll from 1988 but she is made by Matchbox and has no affiliation with this doll that I know of.

4. Baby Say N See

Baby Say N See was made in 1965 by Mattel but there really isn't that much info on her which is actually pretty sad. Just like the thing says, she says things and her eyes move just like some of these other dolls which can make for some pretty creepy faces. Also this doll knows she is a doll and mentions she can see in the dark which can probably be a little unsettling and she also moves her eyes around a lot and mentions she can see through anything. Because she doesn't show any emotion it just ends up looking static and creepy but I hope one day there will be more info on her.

5. Beautiful Crissy

Crissy is an 18 inch Fashion Doll with Auburn hair and was made by the company Ideal in the year 1969 to 1974. Her entire thing was that you could choose if you wanted her hair long or short and had a knob at the back where you could change that. I don't find Crissy to be creepy, I think she is really pretty but they definitely made her look a bit older than she is I think. I actually owned this doll and Velvet (I am adding Velvet in another post) but yeah, shes really cool and there is plenty of info on this doll I will link in the comments. Also I will probably end up making a post about Crissy's entire family because it is really interesting and I think doll lovers would be really interested in it.

6. Jill

Jill was a doll made by the company Playmate just like Cricket because her eyes blinked and her head moved but unlike Cricket her arms also moved. Shes like the tween version of Cricket and the tween human version of Teddy Ruxpin. She came with cartridges that let her tell stories and sing. She also had voice recognition capabilities but there is also an inanimate of Jill from 1989 with no speech capabilities, her voice actess is currently unknown. She is 33" and I can't find much info on her. Apparently she broke pretty often and would stop working and needed a ton of batteries for her head, eyes, arms etc but I hope more info can be found about the doll.
