he did feel guilty, hearing freddi mumble under his breath about the noise, "come on, man - can't you just chill out," dante closes the distance between them, grabbing onto the other man for support while he takes his shoes off, "what am i supposed to do? tell my manager no? they don't really like hearing no - i feel like you understand that." he's blabbering because he knows the real issue - he didn't need to get this drunk, but each time he did.

for the first time that night, he found himself away from the dance floor, waiting by the bar for a drink. breathless and on the verge of too hot, he was still smiling ear to ear, more happy here than anywhere else, "what do you mean ready to go? nope, no way. you've gotta dance with me for at least another hour."
