How to join mewe krp?

MEWE PROFILE CREATION — DESKTOP TUTORIAL

I've gone ahead and split the answer to your question in two parts! One as how to apply for a MeWe RP and Two for how to Create a MeWe Profile and get a basic grasp of what to expect after getting accepted.

PART ONE

Many MeWe rps advertise their roleplays on both Tumblr and AsianFanfics since the MeWe platform itself and how roleplay etiquette takes place doesn't allow outsiders to see or interact in any way, shape or form. Depending on the rp itself, they may take applications through their main account's submit box on Tumblr like any other Tumblr rp. However, some MeWe rps will implement an application process through a different platform such as Google Forms depending on the information they want or need on their applications.

Reserves on Tumblr pages are posted similar to Tumblr rp reservations. The most important thing to keep in mind is, each MeWe rp runs differently but if you have any issues or confusions, definitely reach out to the admins directly for some help and guidance. There's been a big influx of roleplayers changing platforms recently but most people have been pretty understanding about learning how to navigate new platforms and the first steps of familiarizing yourself in a new online environment.

Once you get through the process of applying online, your next step will be to create a MeWe profile. Once you get the notification from the admin team that you've been accepted, you will be expected to add any main accounts on MeWe (with links provided to you).

PART TWO

Assuming that you are new to the MeWe platform, the most important thing to know about first is that it's a social media website similar to Facebook! You will be creating a profile page for your 'muse' and the feature they have for status posts will be what you create your threads on.

Creating a user is pretty simple! Feel free to completely read through this tutorial first or go ahead and pull up the MeWe to follow step by step with the tutorial.

A few terms to keep in mind first to better understand the concept and features of MeWe:

PERSONAL LINK:

Essentially, this is another way that people can add you if they're having trouble locating your profile through the search feature. You can give them this link and it'll take them directly to your profile. The Personal Link usually defaults to the FIRST NAME and LAST NAME that you provide when signing up, however, you can edit the Personal Link in settings to be listed as something entirely different from your muse name if you want to.

GROUPS:

Unlike tumblr where you just automatically post anything to dash, MeWe rps usually follow a structure where separate Groups are created designating where certain types of posts will be made. There are a lot of different reasons for this and each rp will have their own groups and systems for the groups they create. Typically, some rps will create groups to separate NSFW threads from SFW threads. Other types of Groups you might see are specific to New Member Acceptance Posts, New Member Introduction Posts, Plot Calls/Bio Drops/Muse Development related posts, etc.

Once you have been accepted from the main accounts of an rp, the admins/moderators will continue to invite you to each group within the rp individually. You will have to accept each of these one by one before you are able to view anything in the Group, make any posts, or emoji or comment on any posts.

TAGS:

MeWe has a specific tag system that can be used in all Groups. Basically, you will want to come up with a tag to represent your muse. It can be whatever you want (as long as it doesn't violate the rp's rules or guidelines). Essentially, it'll be what other muns will use to identify your muse when looking through posts.

MeWe has a filter system using the tags. If you want to see all the posts related to your muse, or another, you can select the specific tag in whichever Groups it comes up in to see all posts from or containing the muse.

STEP 1: SIGNING UP

You'll be asked for the basic information such as FIRST NAME, LAST NAME, EMAIL ADDRESS and to SET A PASSWORD.

I highly recommend that when creating your profile, to use an email specifically for rp purposes or to create a new email specifically for your muse that you can remember. This is more for personal safety as it's best to avoid using anything personal of yours for rp to avoid anyone in or outside of roleplay environments from being able to access your personal information if you ever run into any cybersecurity concerns.

Note: Whatever you submit for your FIRST NAME and LAST NAME will be set as the your profile's default personal link (reference terms above for details). Basically, whether you have your muse's name set or not, no big worries as you can always edit this information after creating your user. However, keep in mind that once you edit your muse's name, there is a wait time of 60 days before you can edit it again!

STEP 2: CONFIRM YOUR EMAIL

Once you finish with the signing up process, you'll be brought to the MeWe dash homepage. After being added by the rp's main accounts, once you start adding other muse contacts or join Groups, this is where you will see everyone's posts including your own (depending on if there are dashboard rules for the roleplay you join). When you see posts, you will be able to see who they are from and which specific Group the post was put into if not made from their main account dash.

STEP 3: PREPARE YOUR PROFILE

Lastly, this is THE MOST IMPORTANT POINT! Most MeWe rps will specify that you list something in relation to the rp in your 'City' location so that when you add the main accounts, they can confirm that it is you adding them and not some random stranger. This could delay the process of you getting added back by the admin accounts and being invited to join all the necessary Groups of the rp if the admins can't confirm or identify your account.

OTHER POINTS:

Most MeWe rps will require that you make sure anyone on your contact list can see all the others on your contact list as well. MeWe rps do this to make sure that active members are clearing out inactive/removed members from their contact list as some do make it a rule to make sure that contact list are up-to-date.

Make sure that your profile is searchable on MeWe search! This allows other members to be able to find and add you if there's any struggle with adding you other ways. However, typically once you've been added by the main accounts you'll be reflected in their contact list. Additionally, you can use the main account's contact list to know who else to add, and the function is typically easy as all contacts will be listed and you can just click 'Add Contact' without going through the trouble of opening each profile up individually or searching for them one by one.

I believe that covers most of the basic points that you should be aware of, if not all, when getting started on MeWe. If you have any other questions, feel free to send them in!

hi hi everyone!!  i’m aza (i’ve also gone by wren) and a few of you may know me as i used to frequent indie krp and closed krp sporadically over the past few years!

super psyched to be accepted and want to dive FULL FORCE into plotting with as many people as i can! i’ve already got a mind for a second air nation muse, so if nothing works out between liya and your muse(s) to start, don’t fret!

sooooo this is her full bio, and it’s bullet format and relatively short (i think?) BUT if you want the quick and dirty, here it is:

31 years old, airbender. first born daughter of council member rinzen (torma family!).

fc is sonoya mizuno and she’s literally the perfect fc because she’s a dancer and there’s a shit ton of pics with her in motion! would have made her a waterbender, but also - the air nation needed some loving!

her family calls her “liya” as the a is an easy way to draw out her name as a term of endearment, close friends will probably also call her liya or soli! otherwise, she also goes by “soli” or “so” to acquaintances...otherwise, assume full name of “soliya” 

inspiration for her actually came during a rando conversation with my roommate, we talked a little bit about sarira, which is basically...“although the term sarira comes from the sanskrit word for “body” (शरीर), and can be used for relics like teeth or parts of buddha’s skull, it typically refers to the crystalline traces that remain after a respected buddhist’s corpse is burnt...in some cases, sarira are said to grow from the bodies of living people, usually at the culmination of a religious experience.“ we then talked about how in her family’s case, her mother used to tell her that buddhist monks would carry all their rage and pent up feelings and it would be pressed into these little ‘remnants’ and after cremation, you could see just how much they suffered and how much their self-discipline kicked in, by seeing how many of these sarira remnants remained. (this is more clear if you read my bio)

soooo yes! wild child, cocky as hell, confident and just...like, she’d be someone you’d want to party with.

literally the most stubborn child/teenager you could ever have met. people on air temple island were convinced that she was swapped at birth with another baby, and thought that she may be better suited as a fire or earth bender. but she had a natural affinity for airbending which shut them up for a while!

traveled around a LOT to the other nations and the north, east, south, and west air temples with her father!

LOVES HER SIBLINGS TO DEATH AND BACK! would probably kill for them (esp during her wild child days)

but really seriously injured one of her younger siblings (looking for this muse/plot aye) at the age of 16, and like - so much guilt

self isolated for about 4 months in guilt after, then went on a soul search at the other air temples for about another month. meditated - a lot, started to practice self-discipline

went into hardcore airbending training for about another 4 months, so total of 8 months of only air temple interactions and turned 17 during this self journey (aka went off the grid to anyone else in the 3 other nations)

disposition changed HEAVILY, went from wild child to very calm, relaxed, placid (still friendly though!) so anyone who knew her before is probably like ???? tf ???

but from like 17-28 was still a continuous journey of self-control as she travels around with her father on diplomatic visits and then more so on her own as she gets older, but by now she’s pretty good at keeping her outward emotions/outburts all inside.

doesn’t mean her control and discipline is perfect though!

₊ ˚    LIFE BEFORE LEGACY

born as han ahri, prefers everyone to call her allie 

her family is a pretty normal one; white collar workers so they’re middle class.  has an older brother as well who seems a little distant to her but she loves him

when allie was born though, she was diagnosed with a heart condition and it led to a lot of medical expenses and stress

she had to spend some time in america to get a transplant and recover.  this is where she learned basic english skills and got the name “ allie ” because a younger girl in the children’s ward accidentally thought that was her name and it stuck with her for the rest of her life

after her return to korea, her parents ended up splitting because they couldn’t handle the stress of the hospital bills and the care allie required.  allie blames herself for this but she doesn’t really talk about it much

she ended up staying with her dad, and hasn’t really spoken to her mother ever since.  last she heard, she got remarried and is happier.  allie is happy for her but a little sad at the same time  (  plot idea! stepsiblings maybe?  )

after the transplant, she was still rather sickly and would tire easily.  she couldn’t keep up physically with other people her age and a lot of people considered her fragile.

popular with boys in high school bc she was that quiet, fragile girl and boys just love that shit.  shunned by girls because they thought she was faking illness when .. she wasn’t  (  plot ideas!  )

started taking up vocal lessons and piano lessons around junior high because she wasn’t able to participate in sports much.  her piano skills were so so, but her voice? that’s another story

her coach worked hard to help work her voice into something that would be noticed because they saw star quality in her even despite the physical setbacks.  eventually, in her late teens, legacy took notice of her and gave her a contract in july 2017

₊ ˚   TRAINEE LIFE

by the time she became a trainee, allie was super excited and really wanted to be able to keep up with the rest.  she knew it’d be a lot of work on her end though because she’s not really as physically capable, but she wanted to try

it was extremely difficult for her, though.  she couldn’t keep up with the physical strain and would often fall ill or injure herself because of her frail body.  it’s something that she grew a little bitter over as time went by and has likely cried about it and had doubts a lot over

she still strained herself though, and eventually had to go to the hospital for physical exhaustion.  this was around the time of one of the future dreams shows, and it really shut her down mentally.  allie wasn’t sure if she’d be even capable of living up to legacy’s expectations and she wasn’t sure why they were keeping her around at this point  ...  but they were, and she had to come to terms with that as well

even if her body wasn’t strong, she figured she’d have to strengthen her resolve in some way.  letting others down in a group and holding them back was not something that she was willing to do, not anymore.  she still had an intense desire to sing though, but she wasn’t sure how to make that happen without upping her performance levels

(  ooc note * it took her about two and a half years to FINALLY manage performance / dance levels that would be considered acceptable for debut ... that’s a long time for struggle  )

she’s still struggling to come to terms with the fact that she won’t be able to debut with people that either came long after her, or that she’s been training with for a long time .. but she also doesn’t want to hold them back which led to making a better decision for her, and hopefully for the rest of the girls that she knows

₊ ˚   FUTURE DREAMS & ASPIRATIONS

knowing that she’ll never make it in an idol group because the activity is far too strenuous, but still having the desire to sing ... she’s decided to try and make it into a more creative path  (  ie, lgccreatives  )  and debut as a soloist while writing her own songs

for this, she began attending university about a year ago to study music composition and production.  she’s leveled steadily in these areas in the past year since she started working towards these goals, though legacy hasn’t really taken note of it quite yet ... she hopes they will soon

about three months after beginning her studies, allie began to fold paper cranes and when she finally reaches 1000, she hopes to express her wish to become a soloist and a producer with legacy to the company.  she plans on giving them the paper cranes to show her resolve  (  plot idea! give me people who support this! filled!  )

she’s a big seo haneul fan.  like, the biggest.  she currently has a few posters of him hanging in her room and has likely even watched smtm just to see him even though it’s not her type of show.  but if she happens to see him anywhere in the company or a 1000 yard vicinity she immediately turns pale and tries to disappear

the paper cranes that she’s always folding either have short snippets of lyrics that she’s written, or beginnings of music compositions.  they are not full songs, but there are many that are connected, so they could eventually make a full song.  currently she is on her 998th as shown in her introduction video

she keeps her paper cranes hanging by her bed so that she can easily find them and add new ones whenever she’s ready to do so.  she’s been doing this for ~9 months now

she really likes to fold origami and will often fold little flowers or animals for her friends at legacy or for people that she admires  (  plot ideas! filled!  )

cut her hair short sometime in the past year.  someone thinks that she suffered a broken heart because of this  -  whether or not that’s true remains to be seen  (  plot ideas! filled!  )

including a/b/o or slave/master into the mix. krp and rp in general are weird. but making an au specifically targeted to sexualize the people you rp with // while we’re discussing this i think there really needs to be an acknowledgement of how nasty this community actually is. the fact that people damn near 30 are rping as real people in their late teens/early 20s and using them in sexual contexts is fcking weird. the fact that anyone is taking someone else’s likeness and LIFE and basically creating stories about a real person is weird. OC rps aren’t nearly as bad but gen rps are a magnet for the creepy fetish koreaboos and we all know it. now that there’s a/b/o rps there has to be some kind of line drawn about what is and what isn’t acceptable to do with someone else’s face

omg hi this is probably such a silly question but, i dont really know much about rp? is there any sort of like, tumblr guide about how everything works and what all those terms like skeleton and such mean? im so lost but it all just seems like something i want to try lol!! sorry if this is a bother!

aw, please, it’s not a silly question !  here are some guides : x, x, xi can answer your q about skeleton/other terms ! a skeleton rp just means that the basics of a character is already set up, and you just have to fill out the rest with your own style ! think of it as a literal skeleton, it’s just the structure, what you have to do is put the meat on the bones ! bio rp means you have to apply with a full backstory already written and oc rp just means you can bring in any chara you’d like, not specificifly chosen by the main ! appless rp means you just need name, age, gender, traits, etc. vs semi-appless rp where you’d also have to write an additional paragraph/sample/bullet points about your character ! city rp/town rp is just the setting where the rp takes place, and krp means either kpop or korean rp ( most accept all asians or pocs ) which is very popular these days !

• • • Myungsoo coughs slightly, adjusting himself in his chair as he scratched the back of his neck, “Where do I begin…” He dropped his hand suddenly to his lap and look straight into the camera, a dimpled smile taking over his features. "Hello everybody! My name is Kim Myungsoo and I am 25 years old, trying to make my debut as an idol! I know you might be thinking, why is this old guy even trying to make his debut this late in his life? It’s fine to think that, I thought that myself too. I’ve been working for a local newspaper as a photographer ever since I graduated High School and I thought it was everything I ever wanted. You see, I love taking pictures, and I’ve had a camera in my hands ever since I was a young boy. However, being a photographer is not really a great thing. Sure, I get to take pictures for my job, but I am commanded to take pictures and get certain shots. There’s absolutely no creativity in my job and I hate that, I am feeling very stifled and am looking for a change. I’ve always been told I have a nice face and, well, to put it bluntly I feel that if I was an idol I would be able to be the face of my group. I’m not cocky at all, in fact I’m actually quite a shy person and don’t really like confronting others, but this is just what I’ve been told! If I’m not holding my camera, I’m usually holding a manga book in my hands. I am an avid manga reader and anime watcher, I’m basically a closet nerd. I also love cats! I have a cat of my own, his name is Byeol, and he is my entire life. If I am able to become an idol, I really want to do charity work for abandoned animals and help them find their forever homes."

He was already 25 years old, any talent scouts would probably be wondering why they should accept somebody as old as he was. Myungsoo suddenly felt like he had the most to prove. Adjusting his hair and taking a deep breath, he hit the record button on his camera. "Well, if we’re talking about my overall ambitions, I can’t help but throw photography into the mix. Even though I’m feeling quite suffocated at my job right now that doesn’t mean I’m sick of taking pictures. If I’m able to debut as an idol, I would love to be able to release a photobook with all pictures I took by myself or even take album jacket photos for my group in the future. Of course, I would love to debut as an idol. That’s why I’m here, is it not? I know I have a lot of catching up to do at my age, but I am just as willing to learn and work hard as your youngest trainees. For me, failure is simply just not an option. As for my personal ambitions, well, finding love is something I also hope I’m able to do before I die. I’ve never been in a fulfilling relationship my entire life and am currently single. If I could meet somebody that understands me for who I am, I would be grateful."

moon jaewon, 21, med student at jungyeo university, dancer

jaewon was born with both of his parents being doctors and so had the lifestyle of someone who was groomed to be one in the future. basically: restricted childhood, a stressed out kid with basically no friends and practically no social skills as his parents knew of his abilities as a mutant and wanted to keep it a secret from people

amidst studying, when he was twelve he found a friend who took him into the world of dance and jaewon found dance as a sort of relief that he was passionate in, falling in love with it immediately

but like. yikes he also fell in love with his friend who reciprocated his feelings and confessed later when they were fifteen. scared of his father finding out his only son was dating a boy, jaewon hid the truth from him

until one day said friend tried to kiss him and jaewon fucking lost it because his own heart raced until it was unhealthy, causing him to freak out and use his abilities for the first time

long story short: during his panic, he ended up manipulating his friend’s blood by opening wounds on him and almost drowning him in his own blood

it was an accident okay

there was no other choice so jaewon brought him to his dad and told him everything, in which his dad retaliated by beating him and saying that he had brought it on himself by being ‘sick and deviant’. however, his dad agreed to save his friend in the terms that jaewon and his family moved to another city and jaewon would focus harder on his studies, never to communicate with his friend again

he agreed

but jaewon found his new home highly uncomfortable as his father would constantly abuse him about his sexuality, call his hemokinesis demonic and his mother would do nothing to stop him

ultimately caused him to become terrified (still is) of his abilities and afraid to use them in case they inflict pain on others, but it’s festering inside of him for years and sometimes he can’t help but hurt himself because he needs to feel the power

also caused him to bottle his own sexuality and cause internalized homophobia within himself. read: he falls in love with every pretty girl and boy for like two days

graduated high school with good grades and was accepted into jungyeo where he is currently studying medicine. super glad to be away from his family since he never felt close to them and he can dance more without his parents knowing as over the years his love for dance has gotten stronger and he actively participates in shows! at least there’s one good thing in his life

pretty much hates medicine but still has to make his parents proud in one aspect so doctor it is

personality wise, not liked amongst people? comes across as stuck up, proud and antisocial which isn’t exactly a lie but he feels the need to repel people away from him

i mean, doesnt really work because he still attracts attention because he’s a pretty bitch

not that many people know what his power is but they do know that he’s dangerous and therefore not that many approach him even if they need help with his top tier study notes. yeah your muse probably knows him either because youve seen him dance, or because youve heard of how dangerous he is

to sum him up = easily annoyed, distant, apathetic, hot tempered, intimidating, reserved but also pragmatic, intelligent, realistic, loyal and charismatic

underneath all of that bs front he keeps up... genuinely soft hearted even if he has a sharp mind and a sharper tongue
