Character

Rolf Yonick Ull is an immigrant from a far and distant culture in Europe, close friend of Nazz and Kevin. Claiming himself as “son of shepherd”, he takes the term of honor and family traditions seriously. According to his family tree, he is known to be a multi-cultural young man from Norwegian-Hungary-Italian-Spanish-Romania-Welsh-Turkish descent as his extended family relatives reside in each country. Because of this connections, he can speak those languages and even translate these foreign words to others. He has pet pig Wilfred, goat named Victor, Cow named Beatrice, three chickens named Gertrude, Laggard and Bridget.

He often shows his loud, outspoken attitude when overreacting and is very expressive in his speech. In some occasions, he is seen ranting or talking to his relatives through the phone vociferously in Spanish, Italian or Romanian. There are some instances that he may be religious as he consider wolves as devils and is seen praying to his ancestors when he sees anything involved with the large canine. Whenever Kevin is in violent jealousy, Rolf is first to gave a “chop” on his head or neck with his hand, beating him up if necessary.  He doesn’t mind the Ans, but the only one among them he has soft spot for is An due to their common fondness for farm animals and similar interests.

First page for my comic, “Dolls and Dresses for my Rutabaga”. This whole comic takes place after “The Eds are Coming”.

Man this took weeks to complete.. I made a lot of mistakes and wanted it to be perfect so I ended changing it up so much. I learned a lot of things while doing this first page, so the process of the next pages will most likely be shorter. Sorry for the wait!

Rolf’s cousins love to joke around with Kevin and Rolf, they are always finding some way to mess with them.

Here is a bit more context: This is 3 years after the shows run, so most of the Cul de Sac kids are now 16. Meanwhile some of Rolf’s family decides to come live with Rolf in the Cul de Sac. Kevin and Rolf have been dating for some time and whenever the 3 Yonick siblings get the chance to mess with them, they take it.

This was fun to make, although coloring it with black and white was extremely hard. This is sorta a warm up so I can learn from mistakes I made on this comic and not make those same mistakes on other comics I have planned in the future. This definitely isn’t my best work, but I never make comics so I guess I’m still learning lol.

Expect more stuff relating to this comic to come out, I am probably gonna make a funny drawing for it, and maybe even a part 2 for this.

hello everyone, I have a question.

Dolls and Dresses for my Rutabaga Page 2 is here!!! Jesus, once again that took forever.

Due to school, my Halloween art, and the fact that Double Dee is literally IMPOSSIBLE to draw right, this comic was mildly delayed. I hope you guys enjoy this page, despite how short it is. Next page will be out whenever I’m able to get it out.

A little update on my comic

Hey everyone! Sorry for the huge delay in the next comic part. Due to all the Halloween art I’ve been drawing recently, I haven’t been able to make any progress on my comic. I’ll try to post it sometime at the end of October or early November

I hope you guys like where the comic is going, I put my hard work into it and it’s really fun to flesh out these characters and their relationships with actual characters from the show.
