Lady and the Tramp AU: Little Lady

[Ladonna "Lady" Brown when she was a toddler, first time encountering her adoptive parents Mr. and Mrs. Brown (Jim Dear & Darling), who visited the orphanage to adopt a child.]

Gazing up at them with big eyes in wonder, clutching onto her stuffed puppy, the little lady shyly walked up to them and gave out the most loveliest, sweetest smile. And, the couple knew... that this little, charming toddler is their daughter from that moment. "Oh how sweet," Mrs. Elizabeth Darleen Brown gushed over as she carried the little girl close, "hello, there~."

The little girl giggled, a sound similar to soft jingling, small bell. "What is your name, little one?" Mr. James "Jim" Brown asked. "...La..Ladonna~. Hewwo...~" The little girl greeted. "What a perfectly, beautiful little Lady." Jim's wife cuddled her close, her maternal instinct increased twice.

December 25th, it was the day their daughter Ladonna "Lady" Brown came into their life. A day, they filed as her birthday.

Karus Alvida for my Bambi AU!

Karus is based on the character with same name from original Bambi novel; the fellow deer who was Bambi's friend, like Ronno, until he grew his antlers as they fought over Faline and Bambi won.

Based on Whittaker Chambers' translation of the original novel "Bambi: A Life In the Woods", it is mentioned that he was a friend Bambi "passionately loved"^^

Bambi the Elf Prince AU:

Karus Alvida is a wood elf prince—although a rank lower than Bambi— and the heir of Alvida clan. Known for intelligence and political prowess in young age, he followed his parents during one of the summit meeting with other magical beings’ leaders, encountering Bambi. At first sight, Karus viewed Bambi as vulnerable being and considered he should protect the prince whenever visiting. It didn’t took quite a while for the two to become friends, but Karus couldn’t stand Ronno’s arrogance as both exchange witty yet snarky remarks to one another. According to Friar Owl, Karus was a friend who Bambi “cherished passionately” in their childhood.

It was the winter, when Bambi’s mother Frida was killed by human, Karus’ primary concern was Bambi. Shortly, in funeral, he and his family stood with the elves mourning the late elven Great Princess. Days went by, with the Elven Great Prince’s suggestion, Bambi and Karus studied together in a same palace as Karus’ father Ragnar Alvida being the royal tutor. Due to spending childhood with late mother, Bambi struggled to catch up the lessons as several elves begin to question Bambi’s birthright as their future leader, but Karus remained a loyal friend to him. It was revealed that Karus’ mother was abducted by humans at one point during his childhood and was assaulted by the human queen named “Grimhilde” who was envious of the elven beauty and tried to absorb the power from her, but was stopped as his father Ragnar rescued his wife. Since then, the Alvida family despised humans as Karus’ mother developed a fear of being touched, even by her own husband. Witnessing these for years as Karus aged, he felt that it would be painful to care as he became a cold individual and started to be calculating for the benefits of his clan, beginning to take Bambi’s friendship for granted.

It has gotten worse when Bambi accepted Gobo, the half human-elf foster brother of Faline, as his new friend and Karus’ family began to stop supporting the royal family. Instead, Karus’ father Ragnar concluded that his son and Faline’s marriage could salvage the “pure blood” of two noble elf family, in which, Karus agreed. And at the coming of age ceremony for elves older than Bambi, Karus’ father announced the possible arranged marriage between his son and Faline, as Thumper called Karus “spineless” to get his “powerful daddy” to help setting him up with Faline than bravely asking for her hand. However, unlike Karus, Ronno approached Bambi to challenge him as he announced that while aware of Bambi and Faline’s relationship, he wants to see how strong Bambi is. While these two’s action could be considered as treason, Bambi agreed a duel with them. Karus was first person Bambi battled. But, hearing Flower’s stern advice regarding to what he truly wants, Karus learned too late the reason of his own change was being afraid to go through same pain his father suffered and has made cowardly decision by choosing Faline as “convenient condition” instead of Bambi, the one who genuinely cared for him. When Karus lost, his parents were horrified of the tradition that Bambi must kill him for the act of betrayal. However, Bambi spared his life but not in same reason for Ronno; Bambi was disappointed (and even heartbroken) of the betrayal and needed a time away from Karus to think over.

Months in the Alvida castle, Karus finally talked to his parents of the reason he agreed with father’s initial arrangement planned for him and Faline; because of fear of ended up unloved and hurt in a same away his father went, so he chose no to care. And, as true wooden elf, Karus was willing to take any punishment the Great Prince or Bambi had for him, as he has long lost what he held important. However, the letter from the royal Álvaldur family arrived for Bambi’s coming of age ceremony with Karus appointed as Bambi’s favourite. Some of the Alvida clan members insists he must accept as it means restoring the former political/social power of the family, but Karus was reluctant out of guilt. His mother, Ingrid, noticed his son’s fear and said he needs to see Bambi again and never run away from any possible consequences, for it is not fitting in the name of a clan as believes that her son can be brave. When entering the palace, Karus’ clan realized how fallen their noble name has as they saw another favourite, Ronno, being picked along. When Ragnar asked for explanation, Bambi said it was his own decision to pick both Karus and Ronno, adding that both clans are needed for the benefits of realm. While a bit hurt that Bambi chose him for political purpose, Karus felt he didn’t deserve the same bond they used to have. But, he decided to serve Bambi nonetheless.

In the coming of age ceremony of Bambi, Karus was present with his parents and other elven clans. However, the ceremony was interrupted when the human troops trespassed the border of realm. While Albrénean ordered the troops to fight, Karus assisted Bambi to take citizens in safety. Ragnar begged his son to not to go fight, but Karus decided to join Ronno and Bambi to fight the human troops. He was horrified when the human lord injured Bambi with a firearm, but relieved as it was no fatal injury. Ronno and Karus temporarily teamed up to take down the human soldiers, then witnessed Bambi fired the arrow at the human lord who was about to kill Albrénean; the very first time Bambi’s arrow hit the bullseye. As remaining human soldiers left the battlefield, Karus and Ronno led Albrénean and Bambi away from burning forest.

Karus was later seen with other elves, mourning Gobo and later, assisting Bambi in restoring the United Regions of Forrest from the attack of humans. Over that time, he witnessed his mother Ingrid overcame her fear as she and her husband reconciled into loving pair. Watching Bambi and Faline together, Karus wondered if his heart would heal eventually. Yet, he chose a path to support the two and developed a tolerable friendship with Bambi’s other friends.

Spin-Off “Perri and Annerle” AU:

Taking place after the main events, Karus succeeded his father in gaining the noble title and became Bambi’s advisor. With Bambi as new Great Prince, Karus actively supports and aids him in court affairs more than Ronno, who became a high-ranked warrior of elven army. Despite gaining elven youths’ attention, Karus remained unmarried. 

When Perry the fairy’s human friend Annerle came into the realm and encountered Bambi, Karus was seen showing indifference in idea of letting the mortal girl stay in a palace. He was mentioned later by Annerle, who have heard of history of Bambi with his two elven friends, to Ronno in order for her to get Ronno’s good side. Mirro proudly pointed out that Ronno is a perfect model as what the dark elf should be; proud, strong and mighty, downgrading Karus for letting his trivial emotions to break the vow to support Bambi over Faline during their youth. Annerle was informed by her fairy friends Perry and Porro that wasn’t the real case as it was Karus’ fear of emotions dragging him down, leading to fatal mistakes of betraying Bambi by attempt to have an arranged marriage with the very woman who was already courting Bambi. Annerle soundly understood why despite his current status, some of the elves doesn’t approve Karus being an advisor.

It was also shown that Karus occasionally teaches lessons to Bambi and Faline’s children. Watching Annerle’s drawings of her life, realizing it has been centuries since the last time humans trespassed their realm. When Bambi curiously asked Annerle how does her time of humans find love, Karus and Ronno were flummoxed and turned their face away. Although, they were fascinated how human societies nowadays no longer have “conditions” or “limitations” in relationship. Later, when Faline asked Annerle how she thought of elven acquaintances, she analyzed that Karus is trying to redeem the years of betrayal and his brain is helpful in diplomacy, while Ronno is much ambitious and could be dangerous, but can be in great advantages when he uses for the good of the realm and safety of Bambi. When Annerle added that Bambi might be aware of these points, Faline confirmed that he does. The smart human girl concluded that while Bambi wanted to reconnect, he may have also decided to use their potentials for the good of his kingdom, due to some occasions feeling the invisible walls between Bambi and Karus.

At one point, Annerle—believed her boyfriend Lukas to be dead—was in grief and anger as these emotions were effecting her mindset; she wanted to avenge Lukas. When Karus persuades her to reconsider her thought, she angrily yelled at him that he wouldn’t understand the pain of losing someone important because he betrayed Bambi and broke his heart for manipulative and cold purpose, leaving Karus stunned as Annerle left. After the talk with Bambi, Annerle apologized to Karus. But, he forgave her as he wasn’t upset at her as he felt he held no position to retort. However, later when he saw Lukas revealed to be alive and reunites with Annerle during Perry and Porro’s wedding, he knew this was Ronno’s doing and confronted him. Ronno replied he was simply doing the girl a favor as the human girl is important friend to Bambi. Then, the dark elf warned Karus to know his place as he may have been in the court by help of his “royal mummy and daddy”, but he himself worked on his own as the favourite without any clan’s support. Fumed Karus asked what he wants, but Ronno didn’t reply and left; as their rivalry remains hostile, if not, much worse.

Bambi the Elf Prince AU:

Ronno Vanryth is a son of Nimue the chieftess of dark elf and an heir of Vanryth family, the clan known for their war strategies and brute strength. Since younger years, Ronno has already shown pride of his brute strength and his appearance surpassing the standard of dark elf’s beauty as his distaste towards humans were already developing. He was taught by the surrounding that strongest is the one to be the most beautiful or obtain what they want the most, and he took those words in his life.

Unbeknownst to others, Ronno actually saw Bambi prior to Frida’s death. Initially, Ronno mistook Bambi as a beautiful elf girl and was enthralled. Although, he learned that Bambi was a little elf prince, it didn’t deterred the dark elf boy from wanting to befriend the innocent prince. Time passed as when Bambi was still recovering from his mother Frida’s death, he met Ronno who sneered and pointed out the flaw of season prediction the ground troll made. Although he genuinely wanted to befriend Bambi and his friends, his boastful and arrogant persona has left a less than pleasant impression. Ironically, he had given a rather helpful information to beware of humans; humans possess the tools that could trick elves into their traps outside the borders. After that similar incident Bambi nearly suffered but saved by his father, Ronno was approached by the young prince who thanked him for the information. While Ronno claimed he would lead his own kind and have Faline as his future wife, he didn’t entirely antagonized Bambi. But, Ronno was much hostile to Karus the Wood Elf Prince, feeling jealous and often thinks Bambi “favors” him. 

At one occasion, Ronno took form as a deer fawn and went to human borders with fellow dark elves to observe for any threat. When one of the dark elves (in form of deers) go caught in a trap alerting the mortal captors and hunting dogs. As Ronno freed the captive dark elf, he was caught and dragged by human captor, soon to be carried away to be sold as a slave. Angered that dark elves left him behind like cowards, Ronno revealed his true form as dark elf and brutally fought back by killing the dogs and injured the captors, ripping the ear-tag off of his right side of ear, leaving the notch as he returned to the realm. The council of dark elves blamed Ronno for unable to detect danger, due to him being “soften up” to Bambi and claimed him as a disgrace, enraging and scratched the dark elf heir’s pride. Since then, Ronno occasionally berated Bambi’s “unnecessary” compassion, labeling it as weakness when he refused to retort at the elven peers who bullied him, straining their friendship as Ronno stopped visiting the palace. In reality—with his own mother’s support—Ronno was harshly training himself to get back at the council and the cowards, and the humans for humiliating him. When he learned that Karus betrayed Bambi by leaving the court and helped by his parents to be Faline’s suitor, Ronno wasn’t upset that he had another “love rival” for Faline, but was more upset with Karus’ spineless decision.

Ronno’s emotions gotten much conflicted by the time he saw Bambi courting Faline. Decided to confront and see for himself what he himself wanted, he challenged Bambi who had recently defeated Karus days prior. Unlike childhood years, Ronno has proven to be a tougher and stronger opponent than Karus. Yet, during the battle when injuring Bambi in process, the dark elf was hesitant to give a serious or fatal blow. Seeing through his hesitance, Bambi yelled he wants Ronno to take him seriously at battle, provoking him further by asking if he’s afraid. Eventually, Ronno was knocked down, defeated after an intense fight. Despite the Alfheim having a law of executing the defeated for challenging the royal elves’, Bambi spared his life a same manner he did to Karus, adding that he had already forgiven Ronno knowing that he didn’t challenge out of spite. Feeling that he had felt acknowledged and approved, Ronno returned to his domain in content. Shortly, the dark elf heir received a letter sent from the palace, appointing him as the young prince’s favourite (the royal’s close companion/confidant). Even though he knew it means he have to give up his title as heir of Vanryth clan, Ronno didn’t hesitate to leave as he accepted the offer. While dismayed that Karus was also chosen as Bambi’s favourite, Ronno was confident that since Karus and his clan turned their back on Bambi and his father once—causing their political power weakened—he would have a chance to prove his worth. Thumper half-jokingly remarked if Bambi was born a woman, Ronno would have already plot the murder on Karus long ago. 

When Faline’s foster brother Gobo was revealed to be alive and returned, Ronno was seen with disapproval when Gobo explained how he survived; he was rescued and cared by humans that lived in a local village just outside of their realm. When the half-human half-elf suggested there should be a peace between their realms and humans’, Ronno rebuffed that idea as not only that would break the peace within their realm, it would also expose themselves to the humans who would not hesitate to use or harm them for their selfish gain, adding that if all humans are good, the one responsible for Bambi’s mother’s dead should have grovel and atone for what he did, conflicting Bambi whether he should trust humans or not. During Bambi’s coming of age ceremony, it was revealed that Ronno’s position as young prince’s favorite had made all dark elves fear/respect him as proper future leader of their kind. However, the ceremony was interrupted when the human landlord and his troops trespassed their realm. When Bambi has given his full permission to dispatch all armies of their realms to defend, Ronno eagerly ordered the dark elves to “erase” the entire threat, killing or severely injuring human soldiers with his strength. When one human soldier abducted and attempted to rape his cousin Rolla, Ronno beheaded the soldier before getting her to safety. He was later seen with Karus when Bambi stopped the human lord from killing his father Albrénean and assisted him away. 

While the United Regions of Forrest was restoring, Ronno’s strained relationship with Vanryth clan was recovering; Rolla no longer fears her older cousin as they became close enough to share their secrets and private thoughts they never told others before. Although his prideful persona and distaste for humans remain the same, he and Bambi’s friends are tolerant with one another. Eventually, his mother Nimue is considering of abdicating her chief status to Ronno who had already prove himself as what the Dark Elves must be.

Spin-Off “Perri and Annerle” AU:

In the spin-off, Ronno was seen with Karus in Bambi’s crowning ceremony as new Great Prince. He also has his fairy servant Mirro who has unrequited love for Perri, the fairy girl who later works for Bambi. Ronno’s cousin Rolla became a mother of two children; Boso and Lana. According to Bambi, Rolla’s husband was unfaithful man and as for his punishment in adultery, Ronno personally executed him. Even though many elven women desires to wed him, he rejected them all and continued becoming the new Great Prince’s favourite and help his cousin raising her children. He was seen amused when his nephew Boso developing a crush on Gurri, Bambi’ and Faline’s daughter. Much to his further amusement, his niece Lana harbors a crush on Bambi and Faline’s son Geno. 

In Annerle’s adventures at the realm with Perri’s assistance, the human girl stayed in Bambi’s palace, much to Ronno’s distaste. Annerle ventures the lifestyle of palace while working as Bambi’s servant alongside Perri, learned that Karus and Ronno are the highest-rank of council members, thanks to their status as the new Great Prince’s favourites. When Annerle asked what “favourite” is, Perri and Porro explained in concise details that they are Bambi’s close companions in politics and social affairs. Being a smart and perceptive girl, when Annerle encounters Ronno who was upset with Karus upstaging him at the court, she qualms his anger by saying she have heard of past between him, Karus and Bambi; adding that she prefers Ronno to be Bambi’s sole favourite instead of Karus who “betrayed” the prince big time. Satisfied with her supportive words, Ronno’s previous distaste for the human girl washed away and became relaxed around her. Mirro proudly pointed out that Ronno is a perfect model as what the dark elf should be; proud, strong and mighty, downgrading Karus for letting his trivial emotions to break the vow to support Bambi over Faline during their youth.

However, Ronno could be proven to be much composed than his younger years, especially when it comes to scheming. When he saw angry Mirro expressing hate towards Porro, Ronno knew his servant was upset Porro is courting Perri, the fairy girl he harbored unrequited love towards. Ronno comforted, saying that while he failed his own love life somehow, he chose to be the favourite and climb the way to gain more trust as he is now. When asked by Mirror what he meant, Ronno grinned and revealed Lukas Grassi who was revealed to be alive as werewolf; discovering the dying Lukas who was to be killed by his abusive stepfather, Ronno knocked the older man unconscious and healed Lukas, full aware of the werewolf boy and Annerle’s love. The dark elf remarked Lukas that he saved his life and need to give him something in exchange; Lukas will stay in Alfheim as appointed painter. Witnessing the reunion between Annerle and Lukas, Ronno was grinning as his “selfless” actions granted him more recognition from the new Great Prince. When Karus confronted him about having Lukas Grassi permanently living in their realm, Ronno points out the boy is no longer a human, granting him a right to reside and work as palace painter. Then, he warned Karus to know his place as he may have been in the court by help of his “royal mummy and daddy”, but he himself worked on his own as the favourite. As Karus left fuming, Ronno gave Lukas a discreet nod, a reminder of the deal, musing the life of mortals come and go, but elves’ are forever, implying the expansion of Ronno’s role as possible villain.

Most predecessors have died from warfare or murdered by humans, but Albrénean approached politics in peaceful manner, able to united regions into one realm.

It is mentioned that ever since the death of his parents, Albrénean had become an heir as elven council were substituting the great prince’s position until he came of age. Disliking the idea of conflict with other magical beings, Albrénean decided to take matters in his own way; spreading the petitions of Regions unification. Although, his ideas were rebuffed initially by the rulers of respective species, citizens were too tired to fight and started to sign the petition. At one point, he was injured from training and was resting in the secluded glade, but encountered Frida who didn’t recognize him as a prince and tended his wounds. Soon, the pair grew close and would spend their time in the same location practicing archery, magic and even cordially chatting. Not much later, in coming of age ceremony, it was the same day he was crowned as the Great Prince of elves. With all petitions of regions unification submitted, he was pressured with finding a wife. While he encountered many beautiful elven ladies from good family, Albrénean chose Frida. However, that means he needed to fight elven men who also asks for her hand. Fortunately, he bested them all and successfully married Frida, united both Álvaldur and Jordottir family as ruling families of Alfheim.

With the magical regions uniting into one realm, he and the founding members named it “United Regions of Forrest”, occasionally having a summit with founding rulers of respective species. At one point, he was informed that Frida was pregnant and decided to hire Ena as head maid and Mena as a nanny to the future heir. After duties, Albrénean was seen with his old friend Friar Owl observing his pregnant wife’s daily routines. Whenever Frida shown the craving of certain foods, he would soundlessly get them for her. Whenever Frida feels the physical stress and pain, he would discreetly replace her attires into comfortable ones. When Bambi was born, Albrénean was concerned of how small his son was, but relieved to hear there was no health issues. During the ceremony celebrating the birth of little prince, he watches as citizens coos and fawns over little Bambi. It was a tradition that once little prince learns to walk and talk, he needed to live separately from both parents. But, concerned over his welfare due to fragile and small height of his son, Albrénean agreed to let Frida raise their son, with Mena’s help as well.

As Bambi was a child, it has been several years since Albrénean seen his son in person; Bambi was curious of the summit meeting after playing with Faline, decided to look. When Albrénean made an appearance, all rulers and servants stood still in reverence as he walked to the court, then stopped to see his son. Seeing Bambi able to walk, speak and looking very healthy, the relieved Great Prince walked off to the royal court with other rulers for the summit meeting as Bambi asked his mother about his father. Later, at evening, Albrénean watched from the palace balcony as Friar Owl informed him of the situation in human realm; mages were hunted down (referring to Witch Hunt/Witch Trial) and religious wars leading to disease, famine and death. Albrénean expressed concern with potential human threats approaching the realm.

A tragedy struck at mid-Winter; he and his troops were alarmed by the gunshot and went to the borders, witnessing dying Frida and the human who was about to take her. He ordered his troops to surround the human, forcing the attempt captor to leave in fear. After having elven soldiers taking his wife’s body for proper burial, Albrénean looked for his son who was crying for his mother. With heavy heart, he informed his son that his mother cannot be with them anymore and led heartbroken Bambi back to palace where the funeral of his late wife took place. Feared for his son’s life after the death of Frida, Albrénean often send the guards to accompany Bambi whenever he would leave palace, even rotating the guards’ shift to protect the young prince’s quarter when he’s inside. When Bambi asked to join his father on his court affairs, Albrénean agreed to do so and took his son to the court, deciding that it would be best for the heir to learn the court duties. While impressed with Bambi’s quick adapt into new learning in fields than from books, he is seen concerned after tiring day where Bambi would sleep by himself in the young prince quarter, wishing to stay with his son but his duties prevented him from doing so. Over the time, he and his son grew very close to the point he tells Bambi stories of how he met his mother Frida. 

With Bambi growing up as beautiful prince resembling his late wife Frida, Albrénean contemplates on his son’s marital matters. He was occasionally informed by Friar Owls that Bambi is courting Faline, Ena’s daughter. Conversing with Karus’ parents the Alvida’s and Ronno’s mother Nimue, he was perceptive enough to know that Karus and Ronno weren’t actually being hostile to Bambi over Faline, but decided to believe in Bambi’s decisions once asked what he was going to do as he replied “If the boy is like me, he would know what he is doing”. When Bambi decided to spare Ronno and Karus after defeating them, Albrénean didn’t oppose to his son’ choice.

When Bambi’s coming of age ceremony took place, it was interrupted once the human lord and his troops approached their realm. Dispatching the army as Gobo was killed, Albrénean recognized the human lord was the same one who killed Frida, and was alarmed that human lord demands for Bambi. Noticing the smoke from his gun, the Great Prince knew the man has injured his son and chose to fight him. Just as Bambi spotted them after leading his people to escape, Albrénean’s spear was broken and was cornered, but before the human lord would kill the elf ruler, the Great Prince witnessed the arrow hit the corrupt man through his eye and saw Bambi stood from far up the hill holding the bow. With the human lord’s fate left in hands of his own consequences, Bambi and his friends helped Albrénean to leave the area, watching the fall of human troops and surrendered to his son.

With Bambi assisting him in restoring the United Regions of Forrest, Albrénean the Great Prince was finally able to entrust his son into court affairs more. With his heir’s leg recovered fully and returning from Frida’s grave, it was one of few moments Albrénean had shown fatherly side silently opened his arms to his son, who, in relieved tears to see his father healthy, rushed into his comforting embrace. According to Friar Owl, it was first time he had ever seen the Great Prince shed tears.

Spin-Off “Perri and Annerle” AU:

Albrénean appears in the coronation of Bambi, crowning his son as next Great Prince of Elves. The former Great Prince was labeled as Dowager Great Prince, enjoying his role as grandfather to Bambi and Faline’s children. He watched with smile whenever Geno and Gurri was well-fed and playing with Thumper’s daughters or Flower’s son Bambi II. 

When Perri took her human friend Annerle to the palace in Alfheim, Albrénean was surprised to see the young human girl who is able to understand the elven languages, but find no threat from her and willing to let her stay or visit the realm as long as she kept its existence as secret. When Bambi asked Annerle about her world’s conception with love and marriage, Albrénean watched with mild amusement when his question flummoxed Karus, Ronno, Perri and Porro, knowing the intention of his son’s inquiry.

Much later, noticing forlorn and grieving Annerle being comforted by Bambi, Albrénean smiled fondly and in nostalgia of how his son reminds him of his late wife Frida, due to Bambi’s perceptive yet nurturing nature. After Perri’s marriage with Porro, Albrénean was approached by his son and daughter-in-law Faline. Both wondered if he would be thinking of remarriage as they were concerned of the Dowager Great Prince’s life without new spouse. Albrénean simply replied that love may come and go, but for now, he is happy to be a grandfather of sweet grandchildren.

Bambi the Elf Prince AU:

Frida Jordottir is a wise and loving mother of Bambi the young elf prince, and faithful wife of the Great Prince Albrénean. Prior to Bambi’s birth, during her childhood, Frida was from Jordottir family, a noble family clan of Nature elves. Her nanny was mother of Ena, whom she became a sworn sister with. With her another friend Mena, the three were very close they promised to stay together even in adulthood. 

During her archery practice in the secluded glade within the forest, Frida noticed the presence and able to locate where it was, only to see a handsome prince Albrénean injured. Unaware of his true identity, she insists on tending his wounds and the pair bonded. In some occasions, they would encounter at the same place and practice magic or archery together, even chatting cordially. However, in the coronation day where all elves gather to witness, she was shocked to see Albrénean was the light elf prince. Discouraged to learn that many elven beauties wish to wed him, she felt unsure to be his significant other. However, Albrénean approached her and asked for her hand in marriage, much to surprise of her family. Among the previous Álvaldur family, no prince have ever married through love. However, as even Frida had suitors, he needed to fight and win to prove himself worthy as her spouse. Battling five elven men of good families, Albrénean won from trials of archery, magic, and combats. Not much later, Frida married Albrénean and the two elven clans became a ruling families of Alfheim. 

Years went by, Frida carried Albrénean’s child and reunited with her friends Ena and Mena who were starting to work as head maid and nanny respectively. During pregnancy, Frida and her friends witness Albrénean’s effort to united all regions of magical beings into one kingdom, ending the racial conflicts between them for good. Despite being guarded all-time, Frida interacts with citizens amicably as they congratulate her pregnancy. She encountered Lady Harrison who had just given birth to son, naming him Thumper, because her son have been thumping his legs during pregnancy AND after childbirth; a story which Frida begins to ponder about naming her child. When the day happened as Frida gave birth to a son, she noticed how small he was compare to other elven babies. Nonetheless, Frida lovingly welcomed her son to the world. In the day of celebrating their son, Albrénean and Frida thanked the citizens for their wonderful gifts. When toddler Thumper curiously approached and asked her what is the name of new prince, Frida replied “Bambi”, a unisex name meaning “little one”.

Since Bambi’s birth, Frida raises her son in the Great Princess quarter of the palace. Normally, once the heir grows, he needed to live separately from his parents and raised by nanny. However, due to his small height compared to average elven children, Albrénean allowed his wife to raise their son while Mena could accompany them. Through Bambi’s early childhood, Frida was delightfully surprised how her son was learning quick with speaking and reading. Whenever Bambi returns home from playing with his friends, she would listen to small adventures he had with them. At one point, Ena visited the palace with her daughter Faline who immediately developed a crush on Bambi, much to both mothers’ amusement.

During mid-Winter, Frida noticed Bambi’s curiosity of the season and—as always—taken her son outside to experience it with his friends. One day, as the nature begins to slowly grow and the weather was less cold, Frida took her son to the border of realm where the nature has already blooming. During so, she noticed unwelcoming presence and urged her son to run; a human was targeting both her and Bambi. To keep her son safe, she decided to run to different location, luring the human. When the gunshot was heart, alarming Albrénean and his troops, it was revealed the human shot Frida killing her. Before the human could retrieve her body, he was surrounded by armed elves forcing him to leave. Frida died with relieved smile, able to rest to know her son was safe. Her death drove a huge shock and grief to the entire United Regions of Forrest; Bambi was too young to understand death as Mena became caretaker while helping Albrénean to develop father-son bonding.

After Frida’s funeral, Frida has been mentioned from Bambi and his father; Albrénean told his son about how he met Frida and added that both used to practice archery. Bambi responded that his mother taught him magic, but wished to learn archery as well. At one point, Faline’s foster brother Gobo—half human, half elf who went missing during Winter—revealed to be alive, returned and explained Bambi, Faline and their friends about humans’ positive side. One of the young elves, Ronno refused to believe Gobo’s opinion of humans and indirectly brought up the death of Frida; claiming that if the human is good, that murderer should at least grovel at their feet and atone for murdering the elf queen. However, Gobo said the humans he met were not the same man but actually villagers living close to the border. Conflicted, Bambi wondered how his mother would think of humans overall. 

When Bambi came of age, during the ceremony, the human lord dragged his troop to takeover the United Regions of Forrest, believing Frida was alive and hidden somewhere; the lord was the same human who shot Frida and—since elves were immortal—wanted her for himself. When the human lord spotted Bambi, he noticed how the young elf prince strikingly resembled Frida’s beauty and decided to abduct him as his beautiful elven slave, obsessively chases after him but was stopped Albrénean. Recognizing the human lord as his mother’s murderer, Bambi avenged her by shooting an arrow right at the man’s eye causing him to fall off from the horse, his fate left in hands of great fire. Although the human lord narrowly escaped, he would be spending his entire life blind and traumatized as a consequences of his crimes.

Spin-Off “Perri and Annerle” AU:

Frida was posthumously named “Unforgotten Nature Elf Queen of Alfheim” as Bambi succeeded the throne. Both Álvaldur and Jordottir family remained as ruling families of Alfheim, Bambi and Faline’s daughter Gurri resembled her grandmother’s childhood persona and talent in archery. Much later, when Annerle was mourning Lukas and asked Bambi how he overcame with his grief, Bambi told her about his mother and how he lived up to her teachings to remember her maternal love. Witnessing Bambi comforting Annerle, Albrénean and Mena mused how Bambi was becoming like his mother not just physical traits, but also observant and nurturing personalities.

Bambi the Elf Prince AU:

Bambi Álvaldur is a young, gracefully built, beautiful Light-Nature elf prince of Alfheim in the United Regions of Forrest Kingdom. The only heir of the Great Prince Albrénean and his wife Frida, his birth was celebrated by not only the Alfheim, but also other regions’ magical creatures in the kingdom. Raised by his mother Frida and nanny Mena with their guidance and nurturing care, he shared most of his childhood with his best friends, Thumper the Dwarf, Flower the fairy, and Faline the nature elf girl who developed a crush on him at first sight.

In the Winter, Frida took her son to the borders where they could enjoy a picnic day without prying eyes, but was targeted by slave captor, a human, who attempted to take both of them to sell them as valuable slaves to human nobles. However, Frida had her son run away and risked her life, the gunshot alarmed the elven soldiers forcing the human to return to human realm, leaving Bambi motherless. Too young to understand the death, Bambi was informed by his father Albrénean that his mother can’t be with them anymore as the young prince was to be raised by the Great Prince. Despite not having much interaction, Bambi was determined to be approved by his father as proper heir. Recovering from mother’s death, Bambi encountered two elf boys; Ronno and Karus. Ronno wanted to befriend Bambi and his friends, but his arrogant and boastful persona has left a less than pleasant impression. Meanwhile, Karus was introduced to Bambi by his father as the Wood Elf prince would be helpful with his future. While Ronno claimed he will lead the dark elves and would have Faline as future mother to his offsprings, he didn’t antagonize Bambi much as Karus helps Bambi with his lessons and training. Despite the personality differences, they shared good friendship while maintaining his routines as the heir to Alfheim throne.

However, by coming of age, Bambi was confused and hurt when his friendship with Karus and Ronno ended; Ronno occasionally berates and taunts Bambi’s compassion for weakness as Karus became cold towards him, essentially quitting as Bambi’s supporter while being helped by his parents to be Faline’s suitor. However, Bambi never shown resentment towards Faline. Realizing Faline had her eyes only on him as she remained loyal to him just as Thumper and Flower are, Bambi starts reciprocating her love. Soon, Bambi was approached respectively by Karus and Ronno who challenged him for Faline’s hand and he agreed. Bambi admitted that while he admired their strength, he didn’t want to be treated as a person who needs to be protected as he wanted both of them to take him seriously when they were hesitant to land a serious/fatal blow on him. Eventually, Bambi won each fight he had against them. According to the law, whoever questioned future heir’s right to the throne lost from battle was to be executed. But, Bambi spared their lives, claiming that would be waste of their potential for the good of kingdom and knew that they never went against him with full hate.

In coming of age ceremony of Bambi, it was interrupted when he was informed that human landlord and his troops were approaching their realm. With the human landlord and his troop approaching, Gobo—who had positive view of humans during his childhood—decided to go to them and negotiate in peace as everyone else attempted to stop him. The tragedy strikes when the landlord killed Gobo, signaling his troop to mercilessly chase after all magical beings for his conquest. Alarmed but calm, Bambi dispatched all strong army of elves, orcs, and other magical beings to fight back while protecting Faline from human soldiers. Taken by the ethereal beauty of the young elf prince, the landlord injured Bambi with the firearm. However, despite the injury, Bambi continued to lead his people and others to safety as his father went to fight against the landlord, whom he recognized as the man who murdered Bambi’s mother. Searching for his father, he, Thumper, Flower, and others saw Albrénean cornered and had his spear broken by the landlord. With a bow and arrow tossed by Thumper, Bambi aimed at the landlord and fired as the arrow hit right into the corrupted human lord’s eye, preventing him from killing the Great Prince. As Karus and Ronno took Albrénean away, Bambi watched the human lord fall off from his horse and cries in pain. Instead of finishing him off, Bambi coldly turned away leaving the human’s fate unknown (but permanently disabled and traumatized once returning to human realm).

With aquatic elves and other water beings putting out the fire, Bambi partook in restoring the destroyed prefectures and bring the life back in the kingdom with help of his betrothed Faline, his friends, proving himself as a rightful next Elf Great Prince of the United Regions of Forrest. Although he had negative memories of humans since childhood, he have been notified the humans from local human village close to the border have been defending their realm and paid respect to Frida’s resting place. With a grateful smile and overcoming the long years of fury towards human, he knew not all humans are evil and decided to contact the said village’s kind and wise Elder.

Spin-Off “Perri and Annerle” AU:

Setting after the event of “Bambi the Elf Prince” AU, Bambi appear as newly crowned Great Prince as his father decided to abdicate the throne to his son. The main character, Perri the fairy girl was present in the blessing ceremony of Bambi and Faline’s children Geno and Gurri’s birth, with her mother among the magical citizens. As a friend of Flower, Perri accompanied him and his wife Petunia to deliver the flower gifts to the new Great Prince. Noticing the strange but welcoming scent of human from Perri, Bambi has taken an interest as he privately asked her if she had met a human. Perri confessed she actually become friends with the sweet human girl named Annerle who saved Perri’s mother. Soon, Perri has become a lady-in-waiting as her former playdate Porro became a palace cook.

Later, when Annerle accidentally transported into the realm where United Regions of Forrest is, Perri quickly led Annerle to the palace introducing her to Bambi. It was revealed that Annerle have been believed in the existence of many magical beings, due to her grandparents telling stories about them. Although Ronno was openly disagreeing, Bambi and Faline decided to let Annerle stay in the palace and often visit as long as she doesn’t tell other humans about their world, which Annerle promises. 

Bambi realized that it has been centuries in human world since the great fire and defeat of the human lord, and how the human world has changed, by Annerle’s modern clothes contrasting to the humans he have encountered. Noticing Perri pondering about love, Bambi initiated the conversation for his fairy friend by asking Annerle how does her world’s humans love, flustering Perri, Porro, and Mirro. Unaware of flummoxed looks on Karus and Ronno’s expression, Annerle simply replied while there are some cases people find love through conditions of wealth, status and looks, many humans just falls in love regardless of who they are, adding that even humans of same genders can get married, much to Bambi’s fascination and Perri’s curiosity. When Annerle asked the same question, Bambi replied that while genders didn’t matter, his world is repressive in relationship when it comes to interracial ones and the relationship between magical beings and humans were hostile, in which Annerle understands. Occasionally, Bambi watches the friendship between Perri and Annerle grew, even listening to Annerle’s venting about her crush Lukas Grassi, the art student of same age.

When Annerle visits again, Bambi noticed her grief-stricken state. Being perceptive yet calm, Bambi asked if it was about Lukas. When she was silent, he assumed correctly that something unkind has happened to him. In which, Annerle tearfully told him Lukas was killed by his abusive stepfather Ludwig week ago and refused to move on. Feeling the same grief he once felt by his mother’s death, Bambi comforted her as his father Albrénean encouraged her to always remember Lukas as he is always in a special place in Annerle’s heart. When being discouraged to avenge Lukas, Annerle asked Bambi how did he handle his grief. Bambi answered that time heals as he wasn’t alone, decided to love the ones who stayed with him, even if some of them once hurt or betrayed him. His words struck in Perri’s heart, made her realize that she loves Porro; the one whom she spent most of her life bonding, fighting, reconciling and shared their pain with.

In the end, during the wedding between Perri and Porro, Bambi was one of the guests as he gave both of them a marital blessing. Noticing a familiar young man, Bambi led him to Annerle, who was shocked to see the man; it was Lukas, who was believed to be dead. It was revealed that Lukas had to live a secret life as a werewolf in a form of conditional spell when he wanted to escape poverty by becoming a successful artist. When Annerle and Lukas happily reunited, Bambi smiled and left with his family, resuming to his duty as the Great Prince with content.
